Jimmy and Lem went down to give the ladies a hand, and finally got them separated. Mel had gone to the sink and wet another towel for them. Pam took the opportunity to clean Albert, and Jimmy, using his advantage, went down to clean his sister. By the time Mel returned, both of the lovers had been thoroughly cleaned, and the wet towel was used to wipe the two faces, then to wipe between the legs of the lovers. Nobody had said a word, while they were making love. All were surprised at the depth of feeling that was showing between them. Instead of comments, they were assisted to their feet, and taken to the bedroom on the other side of the living room, and laid on the bed, and covered.
Vera, Mel, and the girls went in and put the food away, and everybody went up the stairs to get a little sleep. They, after putting the food away, and putting the dishes in the sink, went up and joined the men, took each other in their arms, and went to sleep. It was almost 4 in the morning.
They woke up a few hours later, went down and made breakfast, after taking showers. This time they put on their clothes All had recovered, to an extent, from the sleep and the showers, and were chatting about what the needed to do for the rest of the day. Now that they had discovered their sister, they were dreading losing her, again. They would take her home, and help her and Mama to pack her clothes, and bring her back in the morning, in time for them to see her off, along with Pam and Christie. They knew that it was necessary, but that made it no easier for them. Vera had called, and had a trailer brought out, so they could carry the other boxes, bags, and suitcases.
A friend of hers brought out the trailer, and hooked it to the hitch on Albert's pickup. The doors were opened and the belongings were started out. They had loaded about half of the things in the trailer, and the family came to bring Joyce's things to them. Pa had unloaded all the things he normally carried in the pickup, and used it to carry her things. It was all stowed inside the trailer, and they were told what time they were hoping to be able to leave. Pa made a half hearted attempt to lighten the mood, offering to strap all three of the boys to the roof rack, so they could take care of any problems along the way. It DIDN'T work.
They left, promising to be here, an hour early. Vera, Mel and the girls went and brought out the rest of their things, and went in to start cooking, while Bob and Albert finished the loading. They went into town, and filled the pickup with gas, and checked everything they could think of. They finished with the food, and went to the cafe, and had supper, so they could tell Mama, "Good Bye." They all took pictures of her, as they had taken of the brothers, last night, and Pa, this afternoon. They wanted to remember them. As they were getting ready to leave, many friends and neighbors came by, and told them that they had enjoyed meting them, and seeing Mel one more time. They were asked to come back, as soon as possible, by nearly all of them. They went home, afterwards, and got a good nights sleep.
The ladies all pitched in and made breakfast, along with two extra pans of biscuits. They were put in a sack, and the other things they had cooked the previous afternoon, were put into containers, and loaded into the pickup. Fried catfish, sausage, fried chicken, cake and cookies, then Vera had brought out a whole slab of bacon, cut thick, and fried to a tender morsel to be added to the biscuits. She also put in two dozen hard boiled eggs. They were standing outside, and up drove the guys, with Mama, Pa, and Joyce. Mama looked at the assembled neighbors, and went over to hug and kiss Pam and Christie. She held them both, rocking back and forth, with them in her arms. "I don't know how I'm gonna get by without my girls. Ya' growed up under my nose, and I helped yer Ma ta change yer diapers. I've give ya baths, and wiped yer noses, an' dried yer tears. You girls are jus' like ya were one if mine. I expect all of ya to call me, and let me know what your doing. You all have my number, so ya ain't got no excuse NOT to call me." She broke down and started crying. "PROMISE ME!" They ALL promised.
A few mInutes later, they got in the pickup, after their final kisses, and pulled out to the road. It was a somber time for them. Such strong friendships were hard to leave behind.
A short trip to the county road, and a little further to the highway, which led to the Interstate. They were there before any of them said their first words. Christie leaned forward, and tapped Mel on the shoulder. "How long will it take us to get to your house?" Mel reached up and laid her hand on Christie's hand. "It'll be around 8 or 9 tonight before we get home. Depending on the roads and the traffic. We'll have to stop for gas a couple of times, too. We'll go all the way across Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, and make a cut through Texas. There's another place we need to stop after we hit Oklahoma, too. There's a little place we're going stop and buy some picante. They make some of the best you can find. They grow their own veggies, and grind them up, and make it to sell. Best you'll EVER taste."
Mile after mile slipped by under their wheels. After almost 4 hours, they pulled to the side, and Mel got under the wheel. 4 hours later, they stopped for gas, and Bob took the controls. Melody fiddled with the GPS, and a section of map came onto the screen. It was the directions to the people that sold the picante. Melody acted as navigator, giving directions to Bob until they saw a place at the side of the road. They got out, and were greeted bu a thin man who greeted them with a big smile, and an outstretched hand. "Hola, Compadres!!! Buenas Dias. How may we help you. Melody told them of being friends with Vince and Chloe, and wanting to get some of the mild, and Extra mild, picante. He led them over to a shed and opened the door. Case after case of the jars were shining up at them. Bob told him that he wanted ten cases of the extra mild, and six cases of the mild. The gentleman's eyes twinkled as he stated, "I think you have heard Senor Vince tell about my other's. SI? He says it was so TASTY!!!" Bob laughed with him. "He DID!" He told us he had to have Chloe put in the gas. He was afraid he would start a fire with his breath." They all laughed. They talked for a few more minutes and made sure the boxes were held secure in the trailer, and bid their hosts farewell, with the promise to return when they could. They pulled out on the highway, and Melody looked over her shoulder at the three girls. "Almost home, ladies. Just three and a half more hours." Joyce gave a weak smile. "My butt feels like it did when Mama took a belt to me. It's almost numb." Pam leaned forward to look at her. "She never took a belt to me. Her hand was more than enough to get MY attention, RIGHT CHRISTIE?" Christie just nodded her head. "You sure didn't want a second dose."
They hit another Interstate, and went for a short distance, and made their last stop for gas. They took advantage of the ice cream place inside, ordering thick malts, and making use of the facilities, before they got in for the last leg of the trip. The sun was going down and the air was cooling a bit. They rolled down their windows, and started enjoying the fresh air. They passed through several very small towns, barely worthy of the name, and saw lights on the horizon. Al, who had started driving at their last stop, told them, "THERE'S HOME, LADIES!!! We live on the far side of town." They drove through town, and pointed out several of the places that they would be using. They were going past the dealership where Bob had worked. "That's where I met Mel and Albert. Best thing to happen to me." He put his arm around her, and hugged her to him, and got a kiss. She smiled and told him, "ME TOO!"
A few minutes later, they pulled past the driveway, and backed to the front of the garage, opening the door. They got out and Bob took a padlock and put it through the eyes on the door. "We'll bring the stuff in tomorrow morning. Now it's time to grab a shower, and something to eat, if your hungry. I'll back the trailer in tomorrow morning, so we won't need any clothes for tonight. And nobody can see you past the trailer, if you go in the garage naked. Anybody that might come here will expect to see us naked, anyway. The second bedroom down the hall is mine and Mel's, and the one across from it is Albert's. There's four more, so take a stall, and go for it." Mel came in and told them, "There's feminine products under every sink, in the cabinets. Two or three kinds of douche, tampons, and pads, both. If you need something else, just tell me, and we'll get it when we go to the store, tomorrow. For now we have boxes of cereal, fruit, yogurt, sausage and eggs. My kitchen isn't too big, but we can eat out on the patio. If you want, grab a towel from the linen closet, and you can go for a swim, or sit in the jacuzzi. That's what I'm going to do. by the way. ALL OF YOU, CALL HOME, AND LET THEM KNOW WE GOT HERE, MORE OR LESS ALIVE." She giggled at the last part of her command.
Moments later there were six naked people sitting in the jacuzzi, enjoying the refreshing heat and bubbles. Melody had turned on some soothing music, to help them unwind, and they were languishing in their new surroundings. As they sat there, Bob heard the doorbell ring. He got up and wrapped a towel around him, so he wouldn't drip in the floor, and went to look out of the spy hole. It was Floyd, Maria, and the girls. He opened the door for them and was hit by a deluge of feminine flesh. Floyd leaned down and picked up his towel, and handed it to him. "Shower or jacuzzi?" he asked. Bob hugged him, and smiled. "Jacuzzi. We got some new boarders. They're all in the jacuzzi, trying to recover from the trip home."
They went out on the patio, and it was a toss up as to who they were the most glad to see. Althea looked over at Joyce, as she spoke. This is who I heard on the phone, when I called you the other day. She's just as lovely as her voice made me believe. She turned back to Joyce. "I'm Althea. Albert's fiance. I hope you took good care of him for me. If I had to care for him, by myself, he'd wear me out." Joyce had a slight bit of a shocked look on her face. "You mean that you aren't mad if we had sex?" Althea looked at her and smiled. NO!!! IN FACT, I'd be disappointed if you DIDN'T HAVE SEX!!! I'd be worried that he wasn't feeling well, or had been hurt. Some of our dear friends told us that jealousy is a disease, and that sex was for sharing. THEY are some of the wisest people we've ever known."
"I wasn't laid while we were gone, but Susan and Mom got their fuzz split a few times, Susan got hers split a few times a DAY after the second or third day there. She found a guy that worked in the hospital, that she took a fancy to. Got to admit, that she has some good taste. First you, them him. Uncle John got some of Mama. He was worried about Auntie, and Mom give him something else to think about. All I wanted was to be with you. He told me that he was going to see Pam, and his Aunt Vera, but he never even mentioned that he had another cousin that was so beautiful. Christie looked at her, and told her, "We've only seen each other a few times. Once was at my wedding. I'm divorced, now, so we got to know each other much better. Althea winked at her. "I hope that means he fucked you, too. If he didn't, I'm not going to give him any until he does. Girls like you shouldn't be let to go to waste. If you're not something else in the sack, them I'll be a monkey's uncle."
Floyd looked over at Bob and Mel. We got back last night, and I talked to Carl, today. He said you want the place closer to the pecan grove. That's a good place for nuts like you. The trees will make a nice shade for the back yard in the summer time. Far away enough so you don't have to rake leaves, either. NOW, THOUGH, I see why you wanted the second story, You're starting a doll collection. Guess Bob, Al, and me better take some vitamins, though."
What time are you gonna get the trailer unloaded in the morning? We'll come over and give ya a hand with it. They decided that 8 would be soon enough, and the date was made. While they carried the clothes in Mel and Maria would take the girls and do a little shopping, and get them enrolled for their classes. Their Principals were faxing their transcripts to the college for them. Their new lives were just about to start.
