Chapter 2
Looking into the mirror, she gives her long white hair a final brush out,
tying it back with a pink ribbon. Examining the reflection staring back
at her, recognizing the features as hers, yet sometimes she is able to

at her, memories of someone else that tickle upon the edges of her mind
then fade away once again.

that if she did not find a job soon, she would be cast out onto the
streets to survive as best she could.
She walked in through the double glass doors, stepping out of the light
rain and into the reception area of the plush office. Long platinum hair
covered by a wide brimmed sun hat, white trench coat cinched with a wide
belt around her narrow waist, white stockings and tall white, high heeled
leather boots that extended up passed the hem of her jacket.
Stopping and looking about with a small smile and a sparkle in her
emerald eyes.
Stepping up and waiting politely, she admired the art upon the walls and
the upscale decor, while the receptionist finished with a phone call.
Finally the receptionist looked up, "Good Morning, how may I be of
assistance?" she asked rather coldly.
Like a sentry barring entry by the unauthorized or undeserving, to the
inner sanctum of her area of responsibility.
"I have an appointment with Miss Magicae Imperium, at 10 AM," Jane
replied, soft of voice and displaying the proper respect and deferment to
the Bastion of all things proper and the guardian of officialdom.
Looking up at the large clock mounted upon the wall, and studying the
sweep of its hands, the receptionist noted that it was in fact only 9:45,
precisely fifteen minutes before ten. Pointing to a chair in the corner,
she said "Have a seat, and I shall announce your arrival to Miss.
Imperium.
Jane moved to the chair and primly sat upon the edge of the most
uncomfortable hard backed chair, keeping her hat in place and making sure
her jacket remained cinched tight. Sitting silently, never letting the
slight smile slip from her lips, she watched the receptionist, who in
turn appeared to ignore her.
At precisely 10:05, according to the clock on the wall, the receptionist
picked up the inter office phone and dialed a number.
"Miss. Imperium, there is a Lady here who says she has an appointment
with you?" she said in hushed tones, though the Girl in the chair had
very acute hearing.
"Yes I do realize it is passed 10:00 O'clock. Shall I send her in?"
Hanging up the phone the receptionist motioned the girl to come forward.
"Miss. Imperium is not the type to be pleased you are not on time. Hang
up your Jacket and hat on the coat rack, and I shall buzz you through."
She spoke with contempt and seemed to be secretly pleased that the Lady
might now be in a spot of trouble with Miss Imperium, knowing Miss to
have a bit of a temper at times.
"I would prefer to keep on my jacket and hat if I might?" replied the
girl, still smiling and polite.
The receptionist straightened in her chair and looked up at her, eyes
growing cold and officious. "If you do not hang up your Jacket and Hat as
per our protocol you will not be admitted," she directed.
Lowering her eyes, the girl walked to the coat rack, removing first her
wide brimmed hat, long waist length platinum hair cascaded from beneath
the hat, and to the receptionist's shock two fluffy white ears stuck out
above the hair. Not turning, the girl then uncinched her belt and undoing
the jacket, slipped it from her shoulders and hung it carefully upon the
coat rack.
Turning to face the receptionist, she watched as the older Lady's eyes
open wide in shock and outrage. The girl wore nothing beneath the jacket,
except a thin gold chain that wrapped about her waist, and scarlet
colored lace panties. Her free hair swept down and over her shoulders,
straight backed and eyes unblinking she looked down at the receptionist.
"Now would you please be so kind as to allow me through?" she asked
sweetly.
The receptionist stuttered and mumbled something; reaching for a wall
button she pressed it, unlocking the door to the inner offices.
"Thank you so very much," said the girl smiling.
Pushing through the door she walked down the hallway, passed cubicles and
open office doors. She heard the commotion as she passed. Items falling,
chairs moving, people stepping about looking over cubicle walls, and
through open doorways.
At the end of the hallway, she paused before an imposing door; upon the
frosted glass window was inscribed a single word, Imperium, in bold
letters.
Swallowing a little nervously, she reached out and lightly knocked on the
door...
Hearing a buzzer, the door swings open on its own. Jane's white boots
echo through the room as she steps forward. The room is much like the
front, except the artwork and sculptures are much more finely developed
and realistic. She blushes as her nipples stiffen and rise, affected by a
cool burst of air that blows across her flesh, she turns, hearing the
clicking sound of a pair of heels approaching. Glancing down she sees a
pair of lovely footwear encasing lovelier feet. The footwear was of the
highest quality showing off ten perfectly manicured toes tipped with a
carefully applied deep red nail polish. The shoes seemed to wrap up and
about muscular well toned calves, almost as if they were formed
specifically for these particular curves.
Her eyes continue upwards as she held her breath. The thighs were toned
and large but extremely feminine as well. With each step you could see
the muscles flex and move. A short skirt adorned the Lady's hips, coming
down only a third of the way down her thigh.

The jutting hips led to a tapered waist, a blouse clinging to the toned

you knew was powerful just by seeing it. Her smile was breathtaking, two

Her eyes made Jane hold her breath again. Colored a vividly deep violet
color, the light in the color bounced off them making them shimmer. Her
hair, long and red, cascaded midway down her back and two red canine ears
sat atop her head, twisting slightly as she picked up minor sounds here
and there.
"Good morning my dear. Did my little helper out there give you any
trouble?" the Lady began the conversation.
Quickly managing to take a deep quiet breath, Jane was able to force her
self not to take a step back. She felt almost drawn into and trapped
within those violet eyes. Mesmerized by the dancing reflected light and
held fast as the Lady's look fixed upon her. Stammering she managed to
get some words out.
"No, Miss Imperium, your helper was very efficient. Please accept my
apology for being late it is my fault."
She lowered her eyes, not sure why she defended the receptionist, not
wanting to risk the wrath or take the chance of upsetting the Amazonian
Lady that stood before her.
She did not wish others to feel this Lady's anger but she knew she would
accept any punishment the Lady felt should be forthcoming.
She could feel her nipples stiffen further and rise pointing out and up
towards that appraising gaze. Lowering her own eyes, she reached up a
hand and taking her long hair brushed it back over one shoulder, tilting
her head slightly, then bared her throat, purring soft and low deep back
in her throat, expressing her submission to whatever the Lady asked of
her.
Wondering again and for the thousandth time about the fate that had made
her take up the newspaper at the coffee Shoppe the other day, finding the
strange advertisement for a job interview. The requested attire of white
hat and jacket, boots, red panties and nothing more. Even more amazed at
her self at succumbing to the compulsion to phone and make the
appointment.
Keeping her eyes lowered, shivering slightly, and not only due to the
chill of the air vents, waited for the Lady to proceed.
The Lady spoke again, "You know my dear, and it's not a positive to cover
for those who are inept, cold, and rude."
She slid her finger into the chain around Jane's waist and gave it a tug,
walking towards her desk. Looking about Jane found that there are no
chairs for her to sit on. Instead there is a plinth with a large pillow
in the middle, no doubt for kneeling on. The Lady walks to the other side
of the desk and sits upon a high backed leather chair, motioning Jane to
the plinth. As she found a position to kneel the Lady turns to a monitor
showing the outer reception area. "I wonder why you would choose to
protect her when she was so rude to you. I don't appreciate rudeness..."
The Lady's eyes seemed to glow bright as she look towards the reception
area and Jane stared, her mouth open as the receptionist screams and
stands up quickly, running for the front door. She stops right in the
center of the room as her foot seems to be stuck to the floor. Her skin
turns grey as a pool forms around her. Her body thickens and grows,
bursting her out of her clothing as her body contorts. When all turns
quiet again there is no receptionist. Instead there is an artistic stone
fountain!
"Now then, you were inquiring about a position here?"
Wide eyed staring at the monitor, finding she was suddenly unsteady,
kneeling on the pillow, certain her eyes must have played some kind of
mind trick on her. Perhaps a type of computer generated imaging, a
technological bit of sleight of hand.
Jane looked back up into the violet eyes of the Lady as she back sat in
her chair. Jane marveled at the prodigious size of the office chair, and
the ornateness of its construction. Its look completed the office more as
if it was a renaissance throne rather than an office chair.
Jane could feel her muscles trembling, her tail moving back and forth
slowly, then involuntarily curling itself around her hips.
The tip of her tongue slipped out and moistened her lips, rapidly trying
to gather her thoughts, how to explain finding the discarded newspaper,
discovering the employment ad, and how she felt an over powering urge to
apply for a job she knew nothing about.
"I found an advertisement in a local paper regarding a position here,"
she began.
"There were no details as to the type of position, and I am not at all
certain I am qualified for whatever it might be. I hope I am not wasting
your time," she continued.
Worried that not only because of her tardiness, but lack of clarity the
Lady would become irritated enough to perhaps turn her into a statue, or
worse demand she leave.
Bracing herself and settling back upon her heels, she raised herself a
little higher, shoulders back, spine straight, she fought the pressure
that ebbed and flowed against her mind and raised her eyes again to look
into the violet pools that were looking down upon her.
"I do not know what the position that Miss Imperium might be advertising
for, but perhaps with the right training I could assume that position?"
she almost whispered.
Mentally kicking at herself for not speaking louder, sure that the Lady's
look was becoming more annoyed and skeptical. Not wanting to see them
take on that glow again, unsure if Miss Imperium was responsible for the
fountain now decorating the lobby, but not wishing to discover that in
fact she was.
Miss Imperium leaned forward, folding her hands over each other and
laying her chin on top of them. Rather than speak immediately, her
piercing violet eyes seemingly never to blink, as she sat in silence
simply staring at Jane. Finally after what felt like an hour for you, she
cleared her throat. "As you can see, I seem to have a vacancy in my front
office. My previous employee was a bit too stone-faced and cold to
adequately perform her duties. I do wonder though about you. I'm not
certain you will be able to properly fill the position I truly need."
She stands up and walks around the desk, surveying the neko perched atop
the plinth. Jane can hear her mumbling things like 'small frame' and
'more mousey than cat' before she sits on the edge of her desk directly
in front of her, her eyes locked on Jane's as she crossed her legs. "Tell
me my dear, what skills do you possess? What prompted you to answer the
advertisement today?"
The Lady looks on as her ears twitch, a subtle smile showing as she
waited for Jane's response.
Trying to maintain contact with those deep alluring pools of violet, Jane
watched as Miss Imperium stared at her in an unblinking fashion, as if
devising some plan only she processed the intricacies of.
Making an effort to appear relaxed and calm while her heart hammered in
her chest,
She seemed to feel an unrelenting pressure pushing in against her from
all sides. Feeling a little dizzy, and seemingly unable to truly catch
her breath she managed to maintain her smile.
Hearing the Lady talking to herself, the words small stature and mousey
making her flush with embarrassment, she strove to sit straighter,
stretching her spine and neck to appear as tall as possible.
Blinking to force her attention back to the Lady's words, she caught the
question regarding skills.
"I am a bit of an artist, can work somewhat with computers, and I like to
think I am friendly and good with people," she managed to say.
"Truthfully I am afraid I can not tell you Miss Imperium what prompted me
to respond to your advertisement. I do not have steady work, I do really
need a new job, but when I came across your advertisement I somehow knew
I had to phone, request an interview, and really try to get this job!"
She said.
Flushing again with embarrassment she bit the inside of her lip until the
pain helped her refocus. What a silly answer to give, being asked why she
came for the interview only to say she did not know and telling Miss
Imperium how desperate she was for a job. She felt wetness form in the
corners of her eyes and blinked, swallowing and taking a deep breath,
tried to settle herself, not understanding why her emotions seemed so out
of control.
Perhaps she was in fact wasting the Lady's time. She had to figure out
quickly how to calm herself and control what was happening or Miss
Imperium might again display that glowing eyed flash of anger.
"What an interesting answer. You found my advertisement at a coffee
Shoppe and just decided you needed to have this job," Miss Imperium
stated.
Miss Imperium's eyes moved slightly, probing deeper into the girl's
subconscious with them. A soft smile crossed her face as her eyes glowed
a bit and she can see the tension in Jane's body ebb away. Jane feels as
though two strong, but gentle hands are running over her bare skin
relaxing and calming her.
"I hope that isn't too strange for you my dear. I can tell you are
nervous so I thought a little rubbing would be appreciated. I don't want
your nerves acting up for your employment exam."
The Lady stands up, caressing Jane's soft, delicate face with her long,
Claw-like fingernails. "As you can see I have a bit of a flare for art.
Whether it is on canvas, clay, or sculpture, if it is beautiful and
captures my eye, I want it...and I will have it. I should probably
mention that when it comes to art, the most exciting kind to me is living
art...and I am one of my favorite pieces."
The confusion on Jane's face is noticeable which makes Miss Imperium
laugh a bit. Stepping away from the girl a bit, she slips out of her
clothing but leaves the heeled shoes on.
"I would like to see your skills on display and can think of nothing
better than to have you draw me. You will find a tablet to your left.
This job will also test your ability to handle pressure and stress, so
there is a time limit on the exam. You will have 30 minutes to complete
your image. Details are important. As for the pressure and stress, take a
look at your toes."
The Lady smiles as Jane's head turns and she gasps, finding her toes now
a porcelain white in color and no longer movable! Miss Imperium stands
slightly sideways to give Jane a full profile of her Amazonian, muscular
body. "You may draw me in any setting you desire but if I were you, I
would get started now."
Jane cries out and grabs for the tablet.... Lowers her eyes and
concentrates on her task, ignoring her feet and toes, stilling the panic
that threatens to rise within her.
Looking up at the clock, hits send, at 29 minutes.
Miss Imperium looks at the drawing, her eyes staring at it for several
minutes.
"How interesting! You chose to draw me as a porcelain figure? Quite
intriguing actually...and here I was going to turn you into a porcelain
kitty if you failed. Now then..."
She looks at the image even harder. "Actually, that shows me a few
things. One, you are quick on your feet in thinking. With porcelain skin,
the coloring is much easier. Two, it shows me your humor by drawing me as
the exact thing you were going to become. Three, and most importantly,
the image is very well done with my eyes and my hair like that."
Jane had been so focused on getting the image finished you didn't even
notice that as the time ran out, her body had become more porcelain in
nature. With one minute to spare, only her drawing hand and eyes still
had the ability to move. Other than those, she looked like the newest bit
of artwork to be displayed. Several quiet moments passed while she waited
for a decision from Miss Imperium.
"I think I might have a position for you my dear," she finally said.
She snapped her fingers and Jane's porcelain skin returned to normal.
Miss Imperium extended her hand out to help her off the plinth.
"I am willing to offer you the dual position of lead artist and
administrative assistant. Should you choose to accept the position you
will be tasked with making artwork, banners, fliers, and the like for my
company while also coordinating my schedule and answering the phones. You
will also be on hand to take any and all dictations I need. After all,
instructions for magical items need a lot of disclaimers. Would you like
to become a part of my little company?"
Trembling, Jane wondered if she had almost become a porcelain doll or had
it only been a vision created within her imagination. The cold droplet of
sweat sliding down from her throat moving slowly between her breasts made
her believe that it was an experience that was all to real.
Looking up she reached for the Miss Imperium's hand to help her stand,
her knees and legs almost giving way, either from kneeling or due to the
transformation from porcelain to flesh. Or perhaps her weakness was from
the lingering fear of what might have befallen her.
Jane could not do this, she was almost paralyzed with fear of the
unknown. This Beautiful powerful Lady, would have such control, would
hold her as she was now, in the palm of her hand. She did not wish to,
but thought it best to decline the offer of employment.
Raising her head and looking once again into those deep violet eyes, she
straightened and spoke.
"It would be an honor and privilege Miss, to come work for you, to do all
I can do facilitate the smooth operation of your business affairs, and
your life!" she said.
Blinking, she heard the words coming from her mouth, those were not her
thoughts, were they?
"I am so very pleased that you have seen fit to allow me this
opportunity, I will do my very best not to disappoint you," she said her
eyes and lips smiling with pleasure.
Swaying slowly, she felt a little dizzy, then a calmness and euphoria
settled deep inside her. Yes, this was right, what she should do, what
she must do.
Looking up and smiling, she curtsied. "Thank you Miss Imperium."
"No my dear, thank you. Let's make sure you are dressed properly. After
all, you are now the face people see first when they come in."
Miss Imperium's eyes glowed once again, Jane found her vision blur before
it became clear once again. Crossing her eyes Jane sees a pair of glasses
perched upon her nose! She rises up a bit as her boots transform,
becoming Converse sneaker heels. A pair of socks slides up her legs until
they reach just above the knees. A very short tartan skirt forms around
her waist while a super tight Tee-shirt, which leaves her midriff bare,
forms around her breasts. Last, a cute little collar clicks around your
neck with a tag showing a snow white kitty. When Jane looked in the
mirror she finds that her work uniform for today consists of the look of
a hot sexy college student.
