Saturday took it easy not much to tell. Felt lazy got up just before the
big noon kick-off (ET), so it was almost 11 am. Close games are nice,
however, a good blow out, I got lost for a few seconds--thought job. I
know I have sex on the brain or is that in the brain. When one team is
simply better and the score reflects the other team's lack of a chance
to score, much less make it a close game It is easy to get bored.
When the last game of the day's viewing that I wanted was lopsided, I
became bored. I kept a game on, more as background and did the dishes
then cleaned a space at the foot of the bed. I have let this spot go and
it is quite a larger project than I want to tackle, however, the clothes
basket with the clean bed linen is still in the front room and I needed
to bring it into the bedroom, oh and make the bed.
I put off making the bed, nowhere to stand at the foot of the bed, so I
cleaned only as much of the space required to have a place for the
clothes basket and make the bed. Did both and still bored.
I had started my latest story effort and had a block; inspiration would
be required. I had a thought; I could slowly get dressed up, while
having some stories read aloud and I should get the creative juices
flowing. It worked like a charm, and I posted the story, 'Team Spirit.'

I did have to break my doctor's recommendation to cut out caffeine, I
had the caffeine pills from when I work the swing shift at my last job.
I must have taken one pill more than I needed, I was still hyper and
going to bed was not going to work, resting was best I could do.
I had come down from the hyper-ness enough to eat something. Eleven
hours add I never felt the hunger pains. One way to lose a few pounds,
however, I am sure my doctor would not approve.
"Better diet and exercise is what you need," is what his office tells
me. I finally got tired enough to sleep, ok--I passed out at some point
after the Chiefs game. I got up long enough to relive myself then turned
off the TV and switched the light off.

I woke up 9:50 am and was about to start my day, make coffee,
decaffeinated. That is when things started to go wrong. Rinsing out my
travel cup I noticed that the water was not draining out of the sink.
Slow draining most of the time, so I got the plunger, works most of the
time. It did not work this time, it tore itself and would not do the
job, it was supposed to fix the drainage problem.
A list of things to do, I get sidetracked and forget. I needed to go to
Target about my phone, then to Lowe's and then to the Dollar Tree.
Target was going to be the first stop, Consumer Cellular, however, I
remembered that I needed to have the bracelet re-repaired, and the
jeweler is on the way, and it was not on the list. Problem reaching into
my purse, trying to grab the pink little bag the right thumbnail, that
had broken off, broke off again. It was held on by just a small piece,
fine I will use the Krazy glue. Applying the glue to the underside of
the thumbnail to repair the damage, I used too much, and the glue was
starting to drip. I quickly tried to place the drip over the black round
ash tray it was in the cupholder with a cigarette I had placed there,
and the drip landed one inch from the tip. I tried to grab the cigarette
before the drop of glue hit it and almost ended up gluing my index
finger to my thumb, however, I did manage to get them apart before they
became stuck together. Pushed the thumbnail back with my left hand, damn
that was close. I pulled all that I needed to out of my purse and got
that little pink bag out with no new damage to my nails. I put on a face
mask and went into the jeweler.
Both repair to bracelet and thumbnail done I was back on track, I needed
to get a stylus to use on my phone and what happened to the date/time
and temperature, I know it is called a widget. I just lost the widget,
and this phone is smarter than me. LOL Widget is now back, and stylus is
in my purse. Next, I remembered I wanted to get some wig pins and Sally
Beauty Supply was just down from Target. No luck they were out of wig
pins.
I pulled into the parking lot of Lowe's and went in to see about getting
a piece of dowel that would fit inside of a wig head. No luck on to Home
Depot.
Home Depot had the dowel in the right size. I got two pieces of scrap
wood to be use as a base, I was going to make my own wig stand. Of
course, there was a small problem at check-out, no price on the dowel,
after waiting for five minutes, Adriana rang up the price, $4.14, she
let me have the scrap wood free. Yeah, I did not believe I was that
lucky.
Last stop, Dollar Tree for a replacement plunger, that is where I got
the last one five years ago. I added Mister plumber and saw a rubber end
of a plunger, but it did not have a handle, I put it in the basket
anyway. Low on laundry packs, a plastic spray bottle for the broken one
at home, got a calendar for next year and five tubes of Krazy glue. I
placed my items on the belt at the cash register and I said, "I found
this end of a plunger without a handle, and I need a plunger."
He was nice and said, "you can have it."
I placed it back in my cart, and said, "good thing I kept the handle."
My list for the day had been completed and a few additions. I went home
I pulled up in the alley and stopped by my door and put everything in my
apartment.
I went to check on the condition of the stationary bike in my shed, I
did not know if it even worked. It has been in there for five years; it
was very dirty and had spider webs over it. I figured out how to roll it
on the wheel, no, this is not going inside until I clean it, so I parked
it outside in the backyard. I had to park my car; it was blocking the
alley. I backed into the carport locked the gate and went to spray off
the exercise bike. I sprayed it off and bounced it a few times, to shake
off the water and took it into my apartment.
First thing pour the Mister plumber in the clogged sink. Giving it time
to work I checked out the exercise bike, I must have bounced it too
hard, and the chain was off. I have had to put chains back on regular
bikes before, how hard could it be. Harder than I thought it would, but
I got it back on. An old Montgomery Ward exercise bike, however, it
still works. I saw my sister just before I was going to clean the thing
and I said, "if it works, then we could go for a bike ride after I get
in shape."
Julia said, "you could just get in shape on your regular bike."
I said, "you go for long rides on the weekends, and I need to be in
better shape, first."
Julia said, "you could even ride it inside when it rains," then she
laughed.
I took the exercise bike for a five minute spin, the timer works, and I
got it up to 25 mph, only for the last minute, I am out of shape.
I took off my wig and was logging on to Facebook, they had an electrical
outage and that is why I had an issue with trying to log on earlier when
I had gotten up. I was about to start playing my games when my phone
rang, it was Donny, I knew he was not even home yet.
Donny said, "I need you to run me to the car lot at Sixth and Gage, in
your car when I get home. I am about ten minutes from home now."
I said, "be glad to give you a ride." He hung up and I shut down my
computer. Went out to unlock the gate and started to cool the car down.
I started to light a cigarette, and I left them in the apartment. I
turned the car off and went to get them, no telling how good a judge of
time Donny was, and I wanted a smoke. Back out to the car and I waited
for him to call back. He called and I told him I was at my car cooling
it down.
I took him to the car lot and waited for him to get back from the test
drive. He decided to buy the car and sent me on my way. I wanted him to
call and ask me if I wanted to watch some porn, however, it was after 8
pm when he called, he said, "he had only planned to make a few stops on
the way home, however, at his third stop, the car would not go in gear,
and he had just got home. He had to call a tow truck, he talk to the car
dealer, and they came to an agreement. His cost would be 50%.
I said, "better than one of those, 'as is' type of sale. I need your
help this weekend with a little wood working project. I told him it
would be to make a wig stand. Cut one board and drill one hole."
Donny said, "it would be better if I just showed him, he had called to
let me know he was back home safe and that I was not the only one to
have a bad day." We said our good-byes and hung up.
I forgot, I had placed my purse on the back seat, normally it would be
on the passenger seat. After I had parked the car, I broke the
fingernail off of my right index finger and no hope of repair.
