“I swear I’m going to kill him,” Jessica growled on Sunday morning as we ate breakfast.

“I thought the drawings were wonderful,” I said. “He has your likeness down pat! Even the body drawings are perfect!”

“And those positions?” Kara teased. “Wow! I love the ‘close up’ drawings of you being spread wide!”

“You two are just eating this up!” Jessica whined. “I need it to stop!”

“Perhaps you should have taken it a bit easier on the poor boy,” Elyse laughed.

“Wait! You know about these? How?”

“Oh,” Elyse smirked, “there might have been a PG-13 version left for me by someone!”

“Kara!” Jessica whined.

“Not me!” Kara protested. “I only knew about the X-rated one he left upstairs! Not even the one someone dropped off yesterday!”

“PG-13?” I asked. “How boring!”

“Oh no, not at all! You KNOW what’s happening, it’s just not explicit. In fact, no nipples even show!”

“Tiger, you have to make this stop!” Jessica demanded. “Now!”

“How do you propose I do that?” I asked with a smirk.

“Just tell him! He’ll stop if you tell him to!”

“Yes, I suppose he would. But I want to see Volume I, Number 3!” I grinned.

“I’ll kill YOU first, THEN him!” Jessica said harshly. “I want it to stop, and I want it to stop NOW!”

I nodded, “OK. I’ll talk to him. At breakfast.”

“No! Today! You know darn well that by next Saturday he’ll finish Number 3 if not Number 4!”

“Touchy, touchy! I’ll call him this morning before I head to the tournament.”

It was time to walk her to work, so we grabbed our coats and hats and walked to the hospital. Jessica was silent and I could tell she was very upset. After the usual kisses and hugs, Kara and I turned to head for home.

“She’s really upset,” Kara said quietly.

“I know. It’s all in good fun, and honestly, I don’t see why she’s so upset. But I’ll call Jorge and ask him to stop.”

“I noticed you avoided Samantha and her friends like the plague last night, and this morning, except for making them breakfast.”

“I didn’t want to intrude. She needs her time with her friends just as the rest of us do. It’s all about helping her develop healthy relationships. I did want to talk to you about something Abbie said to me last night.”

“Without Jessica here?”

“Do you think she’s in ANY mood right now to discuss ANYTHING rationally?”

“No, I suppose not. I hope she doesn’t have any tough traumas today.”

“She had her ‘game face’ on when she went into the ER. She’ll be fine.”

“So what did Abbie say?”

I told Kara what Abbie had shared about Samantha and wasn’t at all surprised by her reaction.

“I’ve known that since she came back after the whole fiasco with Lisa and what happened in Monaco! Neither Jessica nor I have an issue with that, if it’s what she wants. And if it’s what you want.”

“I’m just not sure she should choose that path,” I said.

“And Michelle? Should she have chosen the path SHE did? The one that led her to you, to blood on her sheet, a conversion to Orthodoxy, and a lifetime in a convent?”

“I’m not even going to begin to try to explain that one,” I sighed. “I’m STILL not sure I did the right thing.”

“Your mind now only sees her as a nun and you can’t imagine having sex with a nun. But she wasn’t a nun when she made love with you. She was Michelle, a confused teenager. As for Samantha, she will have plenty of opportunities to change her mind and select a different path. She’s certainly not of the mind that she can only be with one man. Even allowing for Monaco as a grave mistake, she doesn’t have that mindset. Not even close. Yes, sex with you is something that raises her to some absurd level of pleasure, but it’s your love that really matters. That’s what always mattered to Bethany, and still is all that matters to her. She moved out BECAUSE she loves you, which I’m sure you realize.”

I nodded, “Yes. Bethany and I are, well, special. I don’t know any other way to put it. And I’ll wager that requests like last week’s won’t come very often because she knows what it means to both of us if it becomes a regular thing. It means she takes me away from you and Jessica, and it keeps her from getting on with her life. And I’m OK with it because I love her just as much.”

“And Jennifer, too.”

“She and I never, ever stopped loving each other, no matter how angry we might have been with each other at any given moment, or how confused either of us was, and in spite of the terrible things we did to each other emotionally. That love is why we kept our relationship the way it has been since she decided to marry Josie.”

“And your proposed resumption of sex?”

“Would have been a one-time thing. It would have had to be. Anything else would ruin things with Josie, and put Jennifer in a position to come between you, Jessica, and me. But in the end, Josie couldn’t handle it.”

“Everything you just said confirms that you’re doing the right thing with Samantha. Just stay on the path and see what happens. She’ll step off if she needs to.”

We arrived home and I went to my study to call Jorge. He was laughing so hard it took nearly five minutes before we could have a real conversation.

“I’m sorry if she got upset. I would have LOVED to see that! But I’ll apologize if I need to.”

“No, don’t do THAT,” I laughed. “Just confirm for me that you won’t release any more comic books. I will tell you that Kara and I really liked them, and that Elyse liked the PG-13 version you did for her!”

“It was fun. I suppose I’ll need to find something else to do to annoy ‘dotora Yessica’!”

“She was certainly annoyed! But you were a good sport about the whole thing, considering.”

“Eh, it was my problem, so to speak. I let her get into my head and the fantasy just ran away with me. It won’t happen again!”

“It sure did in those comic books! You know, I have an idea. Talk to Abbie about her movie script. Maybe a comic book version of Virgin Slayer would work.”

“That sounds like a good idea! I think I will! And you don’t mind if the main character looks like you?”

“I’d be disappointed if he didn’t!” I chuckled. “See you Saturday for breakfast!”

We hung up and I went to the laundry room to get my gi from the dryer. I hadn’t exerted myself in it the previous two days, but I didn’t want to smell badly for the finals.

“Hey,” Samantha said when I came up upstairs. “Got a sec?”

“For you? Always! What’s up?”

“I’m going to have lunch with my parents. I just wanted to let you know.”

“At home? Or out?”

“At my dad’s country club. They give the staff a four-day holiday at Thanksgiving and I think my mom would burn water if she tried to boil it. And I’m not sure Dad has ever BEEN in the kitchen!”

I chuckled, “He did tell me he’d pay money to see you doing chores here.”

“I had to ask Abbie how to use the washing machine! Believe it or not, I don’t think I’d actually seen one being used before I came here.”

“I believe it! Did you and your friends have fun last night?”

“We did!”

“Did you get any sleep?” I asked.

“A couple of hours. I’ll take a nap after lunch.”

“Say ‘hi’ to your parents for me. See you tonight!”

We hugged and I went upstairs to get my gym bag. I came back down, kissed Kara and the kids goodbye, and headed back to DePaul for the final sparring matches and the trophy awards for all events. Far fewer judges were needed for the finals, and I was pleased to be selected for the orange and green belt finals. Miyu was facing a boy who looked to be about a year older, but I couldn’t tell for sure since in the thirteen to sixteen age-group, it had become tougher for me to judge ages. Miyu was about fifteen, and I thought the boy was fifteen or sixteen, but I wasn’t sure.

The match started out tough for Miyu, and she lost the first round 3-1. She recovered, winning the second round 3-2, which meant that the third round would decide the first place trophy. Miyu quickly scored a point, but then gave up two points. She was careful and brought the round to a 2-2 tie. The next point would win. She hadn’t faced a challenge this difficult for the entire tournament, but this boy was her equal, if not slightly better.

Miyu barely blocked a furious attack by her opponent, and countered with a risky spinning kick. Had she missed, she would have left herself wide open and lost, but she surprised the boy with the kick and her foot connected squarely on his chest, knocking him to the mat. I quickly raised my red flag, as did the other judge, and she’d won.

After bows, the consolation match was held, but it was over quickly, 3-1, 3-1. Once it ended, I was done, and waited for the other matches to finish, then joined everyone for the awards ceremony. Miyu received her trophy and when the ceremony ended, she and her sister walked over to where I was standing talking with the two judges I’d met the first day.

“Congratulations,” I said to Miyu. “That was a risky move.”

“I was in danger of losing so I felt why not take the risk! It worked.”

“It did. May I give you some pointers?”

“Yes, please!” she said.

I excused myself to the other two judges and Miyu and Mitsuko followed me to a mat. I thought back to the moves that Miyu’s opponent had used and taught her how to anticipate them and how to block them. A few practices and she had the moves down pat.

“Remember, watch the hips. They tell the whole story, at least at your level. Later on, it will be tougher.”

“I beat a boy! That’s the most important thing! And he’s fifteen and I’m only thirteen! Well, fourteen on Tuesday!”

“Happy Birthday a few days early!”

“Thank you!”

“Why is it important to beat a boy?”

“Because they all think they’re better than girls! And I can kick their butts! Just like my sister!”

I laughed, “In our dojo, I’m the only black belt who’s a boy, except for our Sensei. The other three are all girls!”

“Good!” she said. “In our dojo, there are no girls who are black belts. They all drop out!”

“Well, if you decide to go to UofC in four years, come to JM Martial Arts. By then, I think you’ll be a black belt! You’d be welcome in our dojo!”

“Thanks!” she said. “I need to go change. Mitsuko, wait for me here?”

“Sure!”

Miyu scampered off, much like Penny had back when she was fourteen and fifteen.

“You just made her day, you know?”

“How?”

“By talking to her as a fellow karateka instead of a little girl the way the black belts at her dojo always do.”

“Her sensei needs to fix that,” I said.

She shook her head, “He’s a bad teacher. Good with forms; terrible with the spirit of karate. His students are arrogant and violent.”

“The opposite of our dojo. She should change. How far away do you live?”

“We live in Springfield, so it’s not really possible.”

“Where do you practice?”

“There’s an Aikido club at the university. The nearest school is too far away for me to go regularly.”

“You should come by our dojo sometime and check it out. If your little sister comes to Chicago, we’d be very happy to have her.”

“Thanks! Are you and Crystal still dating?”

I shook my head, “No. We broke up. You haven’t talked to her?”

“No. We were never very close, and she was very upset at how you behaved towards me. I thought you were being very nice, and proper, and treated me with respect, but she saw it differently.”

She did. And Crystal’s view of what happened was correct. I HAD implied that I wanted Mitsuko. But Mitsuko hadn’t seen it that way, which was interesting.

“Yes, she did. I’m sorry if it caused hard feelings.”

Mitsuko shook her head, “That was her problem. She was jealous because you greeted me respectfully. She felt you were somehow inviting me into a relationship. I didn’t see anything other than a polite man. The same thing I’ve seen today. Especially with the way you’ve treated my little sister.”

I smiled, “Thanks. Come by the dojo sometime.”

“I think I will! Here comes Miyu, so we’ll be going. I have to drive her home then get back tonight for class tomorrow morning. Chemistry 200! With a Professor Adams!”

I nodded, “Have fun!”

Even if Crystal had said something to Mitsuko, it appeared she hadn’t made the connection. If she came to the dojo, she’d discover the relationship if she didn’t already know about it. She and her sister said ‘goodbye’ and left. I went to find Sensei Ichirou to thank him for inviting me to participate.

“I received good reports from your fellow judges. I asked them, because it was your first time. Both Royce and Marnie said you were very demanding, but fair. I like this, as too often the judges are very loose with good scores, especially with the forms. I had no reports of mistakes or errors from your judging or refereeing, either.”

“You did very well, Steve-san,” Ailea said. “I watched for Grandfather.”

“I never even noticed you!” I said.

She laughed, “Normally, I would be upset, but you were focused on the matches as you should have been! Will we see you soon?”

“That’s up to your grandfather,” I said.

“If you wish to see him, you may invite him for lunch, with proper supervision befitting a young woman,” Sensei Ichirou said firmly.

She rolled her eyes hard, but said, “Yes, Grandfather!”

She bowed to me and walked away.

“She’s learning to be a proper Japanese woman and it is not easy for her. Her friends lack discipline and focus. I wish she would study karate, but she has no interest. And I will remind her you are married. And you will remember that as well.”

I bowed, “Yes, Sensei. Of course!”

He nodded, “Good. Having a friend who is as disciplined and respectful as you are would be good for her.”

“I’ll do my best, Sensei.”

“I would expect nothing less. May I count on you for black belt testing in the Spring?”

“Yes, Sensei!”

He nodded, we bowed, and I headed home.

“This is going to be a complete mess, isn’t it?” I asked Kimmy.

“That depends on what you mean! Some of the programmers are at work at the other office, others have the day off. Your office will be moved tomorrow. Are you and Penny moving your own computers?”

“No, we both decided just to let the movers handle it.”

“That’s quite the change from last time!”

“I know. Did the phones get switched off?”

“We can make outgoing calls from the phone at reception. All the incoming calls are already routed to Pittsburgh or Los Angeles. On Monday, we’ll be back to normal. Lucas is helping coordinate the movers today because he doesn’t really have any reception duties.”

“OK. I’m only working a half day today. Without the phones, I’m limited in what I can do.”

“If there’s anything critical, Barbara or John will call your mobile. You could probably just go home now if you wanted!”

“You know, maybe I’ll do that. I can spend some time with Abbie, Jason, and the kids.”

“We’ll call you if anything comes up. You’ll be able to work as usual on Monday at the new offices.”

“Thanks, Kimmy!”

She flashed me one of her special smiles, and as she always did, wiggled her hips when she walked away, reminding me of just how special she’d been to me in my serious time of need. I checked with Elyse, Julia, and Cindi, then headed home.

“Daddy!” Birgit squealed. “You’re home!”

“Yes, Pumpkin. We’re moving our offices so I don’t have much work to do today. I thought you might want to play!”

Stepson Fantasies Chapter 4 Wanda

After the incident of the face painting orgy on the basketball court by her stepson and his buddies, Peggy had to take a break from the boys for a day or two. It had been a surreal, totally spontaneous, and wonderfully sordid event. She loved the eroticism but felt it would be awkward to be around them so soon after it happened. So, Peggy called Wanda. She just had to meet up and tell her partner in ‘Prurient Interests’ her recent tales about the boys. Wanda was a friend from college, who...

CollegeChapter 12 Shaving Wanda

It was a few minutes before midnight when Wanda met me at the front door, wearing black panties and the grey sweatshirt. Her eyes followed mine, down to her bare feet and then back up to mine. "You have very nice thighs," I observed, surprising her by not reprimanding her for wearing black. I didn't say anything about her red toenails either. "Do I really, Sammy?" "What do you do to keep them toned?" She looked at me like she didn't know what I was talking about....

Anyone Want Wanda

I know that I'm not normal, in fact I can probably admit (at least to myself) that I'm pretty fucked up. I wasn't always that way; it wasn't until I saw my wife fucking another man that it happened to me. Seeing her, and hearing her begging for it, has totally changed me in ways I could never have imagined. Wanda wasn't my wife when I saw her enjoying another cock, but she was my fiancée. We were three weeks from our wedding when I stopped by the apartment that she was sharing with two...

Teaching Her Girls How To FuckPart 3 Wanda

"Of course," I said as my stomach growled. After I ate, I went back into her bedroom and got dress. Wendy was still sound asleep in the bed. "I am going home and get some clean clothes, and then stop at the grocery store. Make me out a shopping list of what is needed?" I asked her "You do not have to do that," She argued with me about the food. "Nonsense I want to help please let me." I begged her. "That is very nice of you, I will reward you later." She promised...

He’s supported me, when I told him I wanted to explore my lesbian fantasies, and he has the freedom to pursue other women as well. We’ve even killed two birds with one stone by enjoying a few threesomes with some of my friends, who were looking for a little something to spice up their own lives.DJ recently confessed to me that our friend Wanda has been coming on to him and...

Hello, my name is Wanda and I am writing about what happened at the beginning of what I call my summer of dirty fun that happened last year. First a little about me, I am 37 5'6 and around 190 to 215 pounds with above the shoulder brown hair and brown eyes with a 38DD chest in case you were all wondering. I'm not in the greatest of shape but not completely flabby either but after two k**s my boobs aren't nice and perky like they used to be. I am married and we live in a nice subdivision that...

pool time for Wanda

Anyway back to my story. One day in early June, my husband was out of town as usual, the kids were out of school and off at friends' houses playing and I had some time to myself, so I figured a relaxing afternoon at the pool would be nice. I knew at this time of day and week it wouldn't be that crowded as the pool never really was. And since I was wanting to work on my tan some, I decided to wear one of my extra skimpy two piece string bikini. It was a skimpy bikini the girls usually wear but...

A Walk With Wanda

Sitting with my back to the door, I was watching the patrons mull about by looking at the mirrored wall behind the bottles. All those bottles. In those glass vessels were any elixir one would ever need. What was in those bottles were anything from love potions to make you (think) you're irresistible to liquid muscle so powerful you'd be able to kick anybody's ass that pissed you off. For others, there were rivers of relaxation and escape. For me, I was drinking beer. Occasionally I may have a...

A WellLived Life 2 Book 5 MichelleChapter 78 Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous Part II

May 15, 1992, Glencoe, Illinois “Join me in my study, if you would,” Noel Spurgeon said when we finished our dessert. It had been an interesting evening. Samantha and I had talked for a bit before we’d been summoned to dinner. The meal had been prepared by a chef and was served by a white-coated young man. Again, this was a far cry from Lois at the van Hoeks’ house. What wasn’t a far cry was the fact that I was having dinner with a man who knew I was going to be sleeping with his daughter...

Book Two: Magic's Clash Chapter Three: Wicked Conjurings By mypenname3000 Copyright 2016 Journeyman Mage Faoril – Esh-Esh, The Magery of Thosi I strolled through the docks of Esh-Esh, the cool breeze blowing in off Lake Esh. A WellLived Life 2 Book 7 SakurakoChapter 57 Land of the Rising Sun Part III

June 23, 1994, Oguni, Yamagata Prefecture, Japan My first week in Japan flew by, and a routine developed. Sakurako would wake me; I’d exercise and run, then shower and have breakfast, and share tea with Sakurako. After breakfast, I’d meditate, and then have my training session. After lunch, I’d work in the garden, or, as I had this day, wash the floors in the house. Hiroshi would accompany me back to the cottage and we’d talk while I washed up and dressed for dinner. After dinner, I’d spend...

August 1981, Chicago, Illinois On Sunday morning, I made my usual call to Karin. I described everything in the apartment and all the things I’d done during the week, including the reception. Both of us would start school in a week and we were both looking forward to it. When we finished talking, I went out for my run, showered, and ate breakfast. July, 1983, Chicago, Illinois I woke up early on the First of July, because my body clock was still set to Swedish time. The flight back had been long but uneventful, and I was happy that the businessman in the seat next to me hadn’t wanted to talk. June 1977 When I got home, I grabbed a Coke and some chips and went right to my room. I didn’t think I could deal with my parents or Jeff or Stephanie. I just needed to be by myself. That wouldn’t seem odd to anyone, because I often went to my room to read. In addition, I now had the TV I’d received for my birthday. I flipped it on to WXIX Channel 19 and reruns of Gilligan’s Island and Green Acres played in the background while I read. I had to get my mind clear for the final exams that...

A WellLived Life Book 1 BirgitChapter 7 Setting the Course of My Life

June 1977 Friday ended up being a non-event. The more I thought about it, the more I was sure that there was no way on this earth I could say what happened between Birgit and me was a sin. Calling it a sin would debase it into a meaningless act. I could never do that. And the more I thought about Jennie McGrath, the more sure I was that I couldn’t call what she did for me a sin, either. If the church was right, I was going to hell. And frankly, there was no way that could be true. So I...

A WellLived Life 3 Book 1 SuzanneChapter 32 Still Together

July 22, 2000, Chicago, Illinois “Albert, do you have everything packed?” Mom asked. “Yes, Mom!” I replied, rolling my eyes because she’d asked before I went to bed. “He’ll be fine, Babe,” Dad said. “Let’s walk to the hospital.” I usually didn’t get up early, but Dad had suggested it would help Mom if I walked to the hospital with her because I was leaving to see Jane for three weeks. Mom, Dad, Aunt Kara and I left the house and headed down the sidewalk towards the hospital where Mom and...

A WellLived Life 2 Book 10 BridgetChapter 79 The Last Risk Of Freeze

May 14, 1997, Chicago, Illinois “Start talking!” Melanie demanded when I sat down in her office about an hour later. “There isn’t much to say. Katya found the information for me when I asked her to look into several things about Brandon Littleton, Kevin Lomax, and John Milton.” “Do you know more about him?” “A LOT more. I don’t think you want to know.” “Probably not, but I’m your criminal defense attorney, and even though San Antonio doesn’t have you involved in this, you know the CPD...

“So, how should we do these Stone’s songs?” Phil asked at our rehearsal session. “I think we all know the music, we just need to come up with a pretty awesome arrangement; we don’t want to sound like yet another cheap cover band.” “I had some ideas, if it’s okay for me to make some suggestions,” Allison said. “Of course it is,” Phil said. “Everyone can have a say, there’s no rule that says you can’t participate in the discussion.” “Thanks, Phil, I guess being the newest here, I’m a bit...

A WellLived Life 2 Book 5 MichelleChapter 77 Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous Part I

May 11, 1992, Chicago, Illinois Monday was turning out to be a LONG day. After my run and talk with Gina, and my talk with Elyse, I had a full day at the office scheduled. First was our leadership meeting in the morning, and then I had status meetings with each team. At lunch I’d gone to see Siobhán and explained that I was going to break off the sexual relationship, but that I wanted to remain friends. She was disappointed, but admitted that Thursday would have been the last time, since she...

A WellLived Life 2 Book 3 JessicaChapter 23 So Now You Turn Back Into Diana Prince

January 19, 1989, En-Route from LAX to ORD When the engines of the plane started, Jeri reached over and took my hand. She held it while we pushed away from the gate, and taxied for takeoff. Her grip tightened a bit as we hurtled down the runway, but nothing like the death grip she’d had on my arm for the flight out. The plane roared its way into the air and once we leveled out, Jeri’s grip loosened but she didn’t let go of my hand. “How are you doing?” I asked with a touch of...

A WellLived Life Book 7 Kara IIChapter 34 Old Routines and New Ideas

September 1982, Chicago, Illinois The weekend was quiet and besides homework, I worked on the program changes for Frank, called Karin, Tatyana, and Kara, and hung out with my usual study group. Monday was refreshingly normal. On Tuesday morning, I handed Katy my completed intake form. She put it in an envelope and stuck it in her bag. She said she’d let me know soon about the interview. On Tuesday afternoon, after having lunch with Stephie, I made my rounds and then I headed over to Sigma...

A WellLived Life Book 7 Kara IIChapter 35 An Interview and Some New Friends

October 1982, Chicago, Illinois The drive back to Chicago was as uneventful as usual, and I arrived at the apartment just before 6:00pm. When I arrived, Elyse and Stephie were sitting on the couch and Jackie was sitting on the loveseat. Stephie hopped up as I opened the door and greeted me with a hug and a kiss. “Hi, Peaches!” I said. “Glad you’re home, Yankee!” “Hi, Steve,” Elyse and Jackie both said. “Hey,” I replied. “How was the weekend?” “Well, it was just Kurt with me, Stephie,...

A WellLived Life 2 Book 3 JessicaChapter 52 Lifestyle Choices

June 11, 1989, Chicago, Illinois It was just after 3:00am when I kissed Trish goodbye. She’d been an enthusiastic, energetic, and adventurous lover. We’d done just about anything either of us could think of, though her breasts weren’t large enough for a tit-fuck. The last time had been in the shower where we’d ostensibly gone to clean up afterwards, but instead I ended up taking her from behind as she leaned against the wall of the shower. “I think I’ll have you again, Steve Adams,” she...

A WellLived Life Book 1 BirgitChapter 38 Freshman Year Ends

May 1978 The first couple of weeks in May were busy with school, work, and friends. Except for Becky, I didn’t even have any dates. But I was OK with that. Well, almost OK. I wanted to see Anna, but it likely wasn’t going to happen until school was out. I had tutoring sessions with Melanie, but she still wouldn’t talk to me about anything other than Spanish. Barely a hello. I was grateful for the tutoring, but it was maddening seeing my friend this way. I hoped someday she could understand...

A WellLived Life Book 6 Kara IChapter 44 Spring Break 1982 Part I

March, 1982, Milford, Ohio As I drove along I-65, I thought about what Stephanie had asked for and what Bethany had said without even knowing about the request. Of course, because Bethany and I were so in tune, she might have actually had an idea that I was struggling with getting involved with my sister again. I kept turning it over and over in my mind and I kept coming to the same conclusion — that I shouldn’t do it. I was torn between doing what Stephanie wanted and doing what Kara and...

September 7, 1992, Chicago, Illinois “That went reasonably well,” Michelle said when her parents drove off. “There were a few times I thought my expression would give away something I shouldn’t. You were messing with me, weren’t you?” She grabbed both my hands and smiled, “I was telling the truth, in my own way. Thank you!” She leaned forward and kissed my cheek. “So, what’s left?” I asked. “To visit UofC tomorrow and formally withdraw from classes. To spend some time with you and your...

October 1981, Chicago, Illinois I arrived back at the apartment just before 10:00pm and saw the address for the party. I decided I wasn’t particularly interested in going so I put on some music, poured myself a glass of wine, and started reading more about Russia. I was alternating between the history and culture book and the Communist Party book, decided on the history and culture book for this time. I didn’t get much reading done because I was thinking about Tatyana, which led me to...

January 23, 1996, Chicago, Illinois “Father, bless!” I said, greeting Father Basil with upturned palms. “Bless you, Stephen,” he said as I kissed his hand. The waiter showed us to a quiet table along the wall of Roditys in Greektown. He took our drink orders and was back quickly. We placed our food orders right away and he left to put them in with the kitchen. “I’m not quite sure how to address this, so I’m just going to ask you bluntly. Are you the father of Michelle’s baby?” I shook my...

A WellLived Life 2 Book 8 NIKAChapter 68 The Rules

June 29, 1995, Chicago, Illinois On Thursday, I finally had lunch with Melissa again, something I hadn’t been looking forward to. Much like with Cèlia, Melissa and I had passed an inflection point and I was left with sub-optimal paths forward. I’d been struggling with the possible solutions, and all of them had pitfalls. When I walked into Takumi, I had something of a plan. Whether it was good or not would only be known once everything played out. “I spoke to my wives,” I said after we’d...

December 5, 2000, Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minnesota “I had a good time last night,” I said. “I was surprised you invited a friend!” Mary laughed as we walked into the exam room, “Naomi had a good time as well. You know what a Resident’s life is like.” I nodded, “No social life.” “Exactly. March 1980, Hovås/Göteborg, Sweden I woke early as usual, but just enjoyed being in bed with Katt. When she woke, she hopped out of bed and pulled a robe out of her closet and handed it to me. “There’s a spare toothbrush in the bathroom. Go have your shower, then we’ll have breakfast after I have my shower.” I quickly showered and brushed my teeth, and went back to Katt’s room. She went to shower and came back a few minutes later. She dressed, and I got a very good look at her sexy body...

I spent most of my time acting as a manservant to Sensei Robert and Sensei Hiro.” “He who will lead, must first serve,” I said. “Someday, I’m going to send you to Sensei Hiro, should he live long enough. October 29, 2000, Chicago, Illinois Birgit followed me as far as the stairs, then scooted upstairs when I went to the front door and opened it. “Hi!” Sophie said. “Hi!” I replied and held the door open so she could come into the house. I closed the door behind her then led her to my study where I waited until she went in, and then walked in, closing the door behind me. I nodded to one of the wingback chairs, she sat down in one, and I sat down in the other. “Is something wrong?” she...

A WellLived Life Book 8 StephieChapter 61 Anala Part II

August, 1983, Chicago, Illinois I walked in the near 90°F heat to Carla’s place. I was grateful that the humidity of the morning had dropped significantly; otherwise the heat would have been unbearable. By the time I walked up the steps to the apartment over the photography studio and knocked on her door, I had broken into a light sweat. Carla answered almost immediately and invited me inside her studio apartment. The air was moderately cool, and the window air conditioner was running full...

July 1982, Milford, Ohio On Tuesday morning, I kissed Kara goodbye and headed to my parents’ house for my usual morning routine with my little sister. She was happy that I could spend the morning with her and asked to take a walk, so we weren’t in the house with my mom. “Let me guess — this walk will end in the clearing,” I said with a smile. “Yes,” she said, taking my hand as we walked down Overlook towards Klondyke. March 13, 1994, Chicago, Illinois “Hi, Steve!” Ailea said when she opened the door. “Hi,” I replied, accepting the offered hug. There was no touching of lips, just of cheeks, and I wondered if I’d misread her intentions at her birthday lunch, or if, perhaps, she detected my reluctance to return the offered affection. “Lunch is ready, so go ahead and sit. I’ll bring it in from the kitchen.” I went to the low table, sat down, and a minute later, Ailea brought miso soup and sushi, our usual...

A WellLived Life 2 Book 10 BridgetChapter 72 An Explosive Discovery

April 3, 1997, Dallas, Texas “Remember what I said about drinking too much,” I said, as I poured bourbon into three cups. We’d stopped at a liquor store, bought a bottle of Blanton’s, and then returned to the small suite I’d reserved at the Westin. Deborah’s room was down the hall, and Krissy’s was two floors below. Krissy’s comment had caught me a bit off guard, but I hadn’t reacted visibly. I didn’t know her quite well enough to know if she’d been teasing with Deborah, so I was being...

September 1, 1987, Chicago, Illinois “I heard that you have some kind of plan to help Ed,” I said to Connie. “There’s no plan,” she replied. “A witness who saw the shopkeeper alive after Ed left came forward.” That sounded convenient, and I wondered if the witness was real or someone that Anthony had put forward to solve the problem. Certainly, the videotape was real, because I couldn’t imagine how Anthony could have faked that, but the witness? Who knew? “So is he being released? Or is...

August 17, 1997, Chicago, Illinois We finished lunch and Marissa and the younger kids went to play, but Natalie sat with the adults to talk, with coffee, tea, or soft drinks. The Sarcus were very comfortable, but the Heaths were still struggling. July 1979 — Falkenberg, Sweden On Friday, when I got back from my run, Pam was in her bra and panties again. I whistled at her, she giggled, then finished dressing. I showered, and we went to breakfast and finished up our last day. Once class was done, we were pretty much free. November 8, 1993, Chicago, Illinois A dark fog swirled before my eyes as I tried to take stock. My head hurt, badly. I felt something on my face and realized, dimly, it was an oxygen mask. My right hand was uncomfortable and I recognized the feeling of an IV and pulse-oximeter. My left arm ached fiercely. On my chest I felt the pads and wires of an EKG. I didn’t feel anything else wrong as I continued taking inventory. I tried to open my eyes, but the fog didn’t clear. I tried to speak, but...
