“I was surprised when you knocked on my door last night,” Samantha said on Saturday morning.
“Jessica insisted.”
“Your wife, whom you took to a party, while wearing that amazing tux, sent you to my bed? I almost don’t believe it!”
“Yes, she did. Because it was Friday.”
“But all we did was cuddle and sleep in each other’s arms.”
“You snuggled close and fell back asleep,” I chuckled. “And that’s fine.”
“You could have woken me up!” she protested.
“Samantha, I love making love to you, but that’s not the only reason I spend the night with you. I love you. Do you think I have sex with my wives every single night?”
“You don’t?” she asked, surprised.
“No, I don’t. And as far as I’m aware, none of my married friends, except maybe newlyweds, have sex every single night.”
“But this was the last time before I leave for New York!”
“I have no plans after lunch,” I grinned.
“Ellie, Liz, and Mary will be here,” she pouted.
“I could entertain all four of you!” I teased.
“Seriously?” Samantha asked, sucking in her breath.
“I’m pulling your leg, and you know it!” I grinned. “How long are they staying?”
“They’re having dinner with us. I cleared it with Elyse when she got home from work yesterday.”
“How about after dinner?” I asked. “Or tomorrow morning?”
“Probably tomorrow morning,” she said. “I don’t know how late the girls are staying. What about now?”
“I have a date that trumps you,” I chuckled.
Samantha laughed, “Go see your daughter! She’ll send out a search party if you don’t show up for your before-breakfast cuddles!”
I did go see Birgit, but what was really on my mind was Bethany. It was the anniversary, if you could call it that, of Nick’s death. Kathy was spending the day with her, and I hoped Bethany’s day wasn’t too distressing.

“That was fun,” Samantha said.
“You liked it?” I asked.
“I felt really powerful; totally in control.”
“We can do that again sometime if you want.”
She’d tied me to her bed and completely controlled our encounter.
“Not often, but it would be fun to do again!”
“Just let me know,” I said.
“I have something I want to give you as a Christmas gift,” Samantha said.
She got out of bed and went over to her dresser and came back with an envelope, which she handed to me.
“I have your gift, but it’s in the other room,” I said.
“Later. Besides, you’ve given me the greatest gift you could by letting me live with you.”
I opened the envelope and started laughing.
“What’s so funny?”
“I’ve seen something like this! About five years ago! Jessica and Kara gave my friend Leila coupons that she could redeem.”
“Well, this is one for you to redeem. A complete free pass, for twenty-four hours, with no restrictions, and no expiration. Well, I suppose the rules your wives have in place would still apply.”
“Why?”
“Because of the way you’ve treated me. Because you love me. Because I love you.”
“I’m not sure it’s a good idea,” I said.
“You don’t have to use it if you don’t want to, obviously.”
I smiled, “Who did you talk to?”
Samantha laughed, “It’s that obvious?”
“Yes.”
“Bethany, Elyse, Jennifer, and Abbie.”
“You talked to all of them?”
“I’m trying to figure you out, and they know you really well. I want to know how to be the best partner I can be for you. They’re helping.”
“It sounds as if you’ve decided to try to keep this going for the long-term.”
“Someday I’ll want kids. I’ll make the appropriate arrangements when the time comes. You know what I want most out of life.”
She was sounding a LOT like Jessica for whom everything took a back seat to her medical career. For Samantha, it was Spurgeon Capital, but there was no question that the two were cut from the same cloth in that regard. Family, children, even sex, were afterthoughts to what they really wanted from life.
“I do. You know you don’t have to offer me something like this.”
She smiled, “I know. But I want to. I seriously want to. There’s one other thing I discussed with your wives and Elyse.”
“What’s that?” I asked.
“When you’re in Japan, you make your own rules.”
I laughed, “I’ll be staying at the villa of an 82-year-old Japanese 9th Dan karate master. The only other person I know who will be there is 7th Dan master named Robert. I suppose their wives will be there, but I actually never asked if they were married or if their spouses were still alive. I suspect Sensei Robert’s might be given he’s in his sixties.”
“According to Elyse, girls seem to simply fall into your lap! And you going five weeks without sex would be some kind of record!”
I chuckled, “I went a whole month without even masturbating right before my wedding!”
“That must have been pure torture!” Samantha laughed.
“I think Kara was the one who was ready to kill someone by the time our wedding day arrived! But Jennifer and I used abstinence several times during our relationship to make sure we had our priorities right.”
“You’ve done that with me, too!”
“I have. That proved to Kara that I was serious about you. I mean, she knew, but that made it crystal clear. I don’t do that with many girls.”
“Bethany.”
“A VERY different issue altogether. With different reasons.”
“Not according to Jennifer and Elyse. It was about your relationship with her. Same thing.”
“I suppose if you look at it that way, then yes.”
“I suppose we have to go have lunch,” Samantha sighed.
“Yes we do. What time do you leave on Tuesday?”
“The Gulfstream will be ready to go at 10:00am on Tuesday. Dad’s sending a car for me. I’ll be back late on Sunday. You’re going to the Foundation Winter Gala on the following Monday, right?”
“Yes.”
We got out of bed, showered, and went downstairs to have lunch with the family.

“I was really surprised you called last week,” John Lentz said when he was shown to my corner table at Maxim’s.
“You and I got along pretty well, and I hadn’t talked to you since the problems over the summer. I figured it was safe to do so now.”
He shook his head, “I still can’t believe all that shit that Lisa pulled. OK, fine, she cheated on me. That pissed me off, but wasn’t the biggest surprise. It was what she did to you and Samantha that really frosted me. I mean sure, I’d have dumped her for cheating, but trying to wreck your relationship because you wouldn’t have sex with her? That’s just lower than whale shit.”
“And yet, her dad is the salt of the earth,” I said. “I’m not speaking on her behalf, but I will say Lisa really regrets what happened.”
“Doing it or getting caught?” John sighed.
“Good question. I don’t know that I can answer that question. She did ask me to talk to you months ago but I turned her down.”
“She called a few times. I never took her calls. I don’t really know that I could even speak civilly to her at this point.”
“I hear you on that one,” I agreed. “But things are cool with her old man?”
“Absolutely. He and I are cool, and I’m still doing the legal work for his REITs. He was really apologetic about his daughter’s behavior. I guess he was suspicious, but didn’t have any proof until the whole thing with you and Samantha blew up. You’re cool with him?”
“Absolutely. I’m sure we’ll do business together in the future, though I don’t think I’m going to be in the market for real estate any time soon!”
“You should ask him about investing in the REIT. The returns are huge, and you bailed him out, so he might let you in.”
“That’s something to think about. I don’t have a ton of money to invest, but diversifying into real estate is probably not a bad thing. I saw you guys are doing the work on the financing for the project across the street from my old building.”
“The strip mall? Yeah. Those are nice income earners, so long as the economy stays reasonably healthy. How’d you hear we were in that one?”
“I talked to the owner. He saw us moving out and stopped over to find out why we were moving. You know, check on the business climate. But we’re not retail, so our interests don’t really align. He did mention something that I should probably relay to you.”
“What’s that?” John asked, suspicion showing in his eyes.
“You know my company did a buyout of a competitor, right?”
“Sure. Jeri financed it for you. I did her side of the paperwork.”
“Information about the deal leaked from either your firm or from Allen & Baker. I suspect Allen & Baker, personally, given the timing. But you have a similar problem. According to the guy, somebody in your firm is talking to a third party about his business interests. He was pretty animated about it, too. I was kind of surprised at how pissed he was.”
“What do you mean?”
“Basically, he said that whoever was leaking information was in a world of hurt and would be dealt with. That really bothered me, so I kind of begged off as being busy and he left. The dude was clearly pissed. I thought you should know.”
I saw fear in John’s eyes. No, that wasn’t right. It was abject terror. He knew exactly what the problem was. And the fact that he wasn’t saying anything to me made it clear that he had no idea I was sending a message. I was being a friend and relaying information I had, which was what everyone in the circles he was used to traveling in did.
The waiter came to take our order, and I ordered the chicken Parmesan, knowing that it was served over a bed of spaghetti with meat sauce. I’d blow my carb limit for the week, but I’d had the dish once about six years before and it just blew me away. John ordered, and I could see just how nervous he was. I was tempted to ask him about it, but didn’t want to tip him off. On the other hand, completely ignoring it could also send the wrong message.
“You OK?” I asked when the waiter left.
“Sorry, I was just thinking about how much trouble someone could be in for doing that.”
“Violating the attorney-client privilege?” I said to cover myself. “That will get you disbarred. A pissed-off client is NOTHING compared to that!”
Except in this case, getting disbarred was nothing compared to being fitted for cement overshoes and winding up in the Chicago River, or worse, Enos, Indiana, where the Spilotro brothers had been buried alive in the cleansing that occurred when Carlisi had been made street boss after Joseph Aiuppa and John Cerone had been sent to prison. John was in deep shit, and I didn’t know that he had a way out at this point. Given the infiltration of the Chicago police by The Outfit, even the Witness Relocation Program probably wasn’t enough to protect him.
John didn’t say anything for a few minutes, so I decided to switch the conversation.
“I hear you’re dating a new girl,” I said.
He smiled, “My little sister’s friend, believe it or not. I knew her when she was twelve and had braces. Now she’s eighteen and almost as good looking as Kara! Almost!”
“She’s what, ten years younger than you are?” I asked.
He smiled, “Any other girl I’d say was just looking to cash in. This one had a crush on me from when she was thirteen, but I never really noticed her until maybe a year ago.”
“That’s cool. My sister ended up engaged to a guy she first met at twelve. They dated off and on - mostly off - then finally reconnected in their early twenties. Another friend of mine married the guy she met when they were two, though there were quite a few detours along that road.”
A road which culminated with her death from cancer, but that wasn’t something to bring up at this point of the conversation. The rest of our lunch was casual, though John was nervous throughout. I was sure he was trying to think of a way out of the trap he was in, but I certainly couldn’t see one. If he was informing on The Outfit, they’d kill him if he didn’t find a way to make things right. But doing that would mean screwing the Feds who might have an indictment hanging over his head.
I was just a messenger, but I did feel some amount of responsibility for what was happening. I wondered if there was any way I could help John without getting in trouble with The Outfit myself. I certainly couldn’t think of one. If I warned him to run, he could certainly do that, but I might be blamed for it. But he might run anyway, and that could present a problem as well.
I had, in my past, been a party to the death of a man I didn’t know. Theo claimed self-defense, and that he only shot when the other guy pulled on him, but I didn’t think the Law would see it that way. That entire sequence of events had bothered me, but I’d come to terms with it by convincing myself that all I’d done was drive Theo someplace, and what happened between the two men was their business. Now, again, I was potentially in a similar situation. Was there anything I could do?
If there was anyone who had the resources to help John disappear, it would be Alec Glass, or Noel Spurgeon, or one of the other people in their circles. But John wasn’t family and I wasn’t sure how far they would go for someone who wasn’t family. I also didn’t know for sure what kind of reach The Outfit had. Could John live safely in Monaco? Or some other far-flung place? And if he could, how could I make that happen without getting in trouble. Even if he and Lisa were still an item, I didn’t see how that would help.
It was a shitty situation and I didn’t see any way out for him except to simply disappear from the face of the earth, and the only way to do THAT was cooperate with the Feds and hope that Witness Protection could actually protect him. Pete was a Deputy US Marshal, and the program was run by the Marshals Service, but I had no way of even broaching the subject with him which wouldn’t make him suspicious. That was his job, after all. And while I could trust him, I had no idea who else I could trust. What had happened with the police and my investigation had made that abundantly clear.
“Thanks for having lunch with me today,” I said. “We should do this again. Merry Christmas!”
“Merry Christmas to you! Call me in January,” he said. “And let me cover this. I can write it off as a client meeting.”
I nodded and let him pick up the tab. The way he was behaving made it relatively clear that he didn’t suspect I was involved in any way, and that was a good thing. Now, if I could just find a way out for him, I’d feel a lot better. We shook hands, and I started the walk back to the office. I walked through Union Station to use the pay phone to call a number that Theo had left me.
“I just met with our friend,” I said to the woman who answered. “He got the message.”
“Perfect. Thank you.”
I hung up and continued back to the office.

“What are we going to do if Samantha is here for Christmas in the future?” Kara asked as we showered after making love under the tree.
“I think we’ll worry about that if and when it happens. The Hamptons trip is a regular thing for her family, and given that she needs to maintain at least a working relationship with her dad, she’ll probably go. She’ll probably go on the Monaco trip next summer, especially given that I’ll be in Japan.”
“And we’re going to Iron Mountain, even though you won’t be here. I’m sorry you’re missing that.”
“Me too, but we’ll go to Katy’s place with Birgit in the Spring.”
“And bring Samantha?” Jessica asked. “We really should.”
“We better let Katy know, because Samantha will need a room.”
December 23, 2000, Chicago, Illinois ???? Jesse I eyed my dad across the final table of the Hold ‘Em tournament. The usual suspects were sitting next to us - Terry, Pete, and Matthew. Brian, Mike Knox, Kurt, and Jamie were the others who had made it. Some of the men who had been knocked out, especially the Navy guys, were playing a cash game at the next table. My dad stared impassively back at me, trying not to give away any information. I felt I had the best hand, but there was one card to...
December 1978 The last week of school before Christmas break flew by. The only thing of note was someone joined our lunch table. A girl named Sarah Leonard, who had transferred to Milford this year when her family moved from New York because her dad worked for GE and was transferred. I had seen her around the school, but she appeared to be shy, quiet, and reserved. She was about an inch shorter than me, had long, straight brown hair, and a cute face. She dressed in very loose-fitting...
After the kids went to bed, we went to the apartment above the garage and brought down their presents. We got them all set out and were sitting in the family room with the only lights coming from the tree. Lynn stood and kissed me. “Good night Lover. I’ll see you in the morning.” “Me too Sweetie, I think Lynn needs me to give her some TLC like we did in the old days.” Erin waggled her eyebrows. “I guess that means that Blossom and I are going to stay down here for a while and talk. Good...
Back in 1998 I wrote and posted a five part story to the TGFiction List. It was called A Fan Letter and it wound up being posted on Fictionmania under the title Revenge of the Real Girls. The following year I wrote a sort of sequel titled Christmas Gifts - Book II. I found it by accident and felt it should be shared, even though some of the authors who it was intended to honor may not be able to read it this time around. It follows below in its entirety. The following is my gift...
December 1978 On Friday, Stephanie and I did our usual morning routine and then I worked on the programs for Doctor Grossi. I had figured out how to make the connections between the pets and the owners and was working on a way to create invoices. I was confident that we’d have it working well enough for him to test it by the end of January. Joyce arrived to pick me up at 5:00pm for our date. We deviated from our usual pattern in that we didn’t make love before she cooked and we ate....
Wed, Dec 13, 2006 9:23 AM Subject: FW: The Bookseller's Christmas Date: Wednesday, December 13, 2006 9:23 AM From: Dale Gutzman Conversation: The Bookseller's Christmas Subject: The Bookseller's Christmas I spent Christmas with Todd and Sally, my bride and groom slaves, and it was one of the nicest times I have had.Todd is the young man who works in the bookstore. He thought he was straight, but as a natural submissive and a quiet intellectual bookish type, I just took over his entire...
Everyone in the Circle started to skulk around in the weeks before Christmas. Rose wrote a computer program to randomly assign Secret Santas. It took Circle members and pledges and matched them up in some way with somebody else. Each member knew who they were buying for, but they weren’t suppose to reveal who they were to the gift recipient. Also, gifts were supposed to be under a hundred dollars. The program also made sure not to match up family members, partners, or spouses. Also, members...
The first family tradition that we had established when we first got our foursome together, was that we put up our Christmas tree on Christmas Eve, with the intent of taking it down on New Years Day. This went back you my youth in Wisconsin, we would go out and cut down our tree and drag it home. The air in our house was so dry and lacking in humidity that the tree would dry out to the point where it could spontaneously combust. However, that was not the case here in Boise. Yes, we had dry...
The flight back to the UK was uneventful, other than that Harry Ledbetter wasn't on board the plane. Captain Miles Shepard had turned up at the airport with my leave pass and my movement orders, and informed me that Harry was doing the rounds of the embassies, talking to military and political attachés about the Somalia situation. Harry was going to stay in Nairobi over the Christmas period, in case any other developments occurred in Somalia. I hoped he managed to evade the clutches of...
May 15, 1992, Glencoe, Illinois “Join me in my study, if you would,” Noel Spurgeon said when we finished our dessert. It had been an interesting evening. Samantha and I had talked for a bit before we’d been summoned to dinner. The meal had been prepared by a chef and was served by a white-coated young man. Again, this was a far cry from Lois at the van Hoeks’ house. What wasn’t a far cry was the fact that I was having dinner with a man who knew I was going to be sleeping with his daughter...
A few minutes later the Herd came running down the stairs, naked again, and ran straight into the kitchen, except Margaret, who stopped in front of her mother and me. “Daddy, Mother, can we please go and tell Taylor about the gate?” “Yes, my little love, we sure can.” I said. I took Margaret and Erin’s hand but as I was turning us to head for the back of the house, Erin stopped us. “Wait! Paul, you and I are overdressed. Margaret, please wait for us.” Erin dropped her daughter’s hand and...
Christmas Day is a favorite day for me. When I was married to my first wife, my life-long dream was to have a Christmas dinner surrounded by my family. When we got divorced all of that went away. I couldn’t see or hear my ex-wife without going into a severe depression for days. So, there was no family get together for any holidays. Christmas hurt me the most. After they graduated high school, my daughter went into the Army followed by my son and get togethers never happened... Now, I am...
The trip home was hilarious as there was a contest between Margaret and her mom to see who could cut the worst garlic bread farts. The two of them just wouldn’t stop and what started off as eye-watering laughter soon turned into an eye-watering, burning sensation! “Sweetie, you might need to pull over so we can air out the van before we get home.” Erin said as she ripped another one. Margaret laughed and tooted and laughed and tooted, etc. Finally, I had to pull over to let Lynn and Blossom...
I spent most of the Twelve Days of Christmas of 1818 in bed – and before you leap to conclusions I was not being gripped firmly between Caroline's thighs but in the equally firm grip of an ague. I had set out for Bearsted on a frigid and bitterly cold morning, the day before Christmas Eve. By the time I changed horses at Swanley I was as ice – and then the rain started. I reached Ashford House soaking wet and frozen to the marrow. A hot toddy, a seat by a roaring fire and Caroline drying me...
June 23, 1994, Oguni, Yamagata Prefecture, Japan My first week in Japan flew by, and a routine developed. Sakurako would wake me; I’d exercise and run, then shower and have breakfast, and share tea with Sakurako. After breakfast, I’d meditate, and then have my training session. After lunch, I’d work in the garden, or, as I had this day, wash the floors in the house. Hiroshi would accompany me back to the cottage and we’d talk while I washed up and dressed for dinner. After dinner, I’d spend...
June 15, 1994, Chicago, Illinois “That’s everything, I think,” I said. “My luggage is in the trunk of the car, I have my passport, tickets, and money, both dollars and yen. I can’t think of anything else.” “I’ll see you in five weeks,” Elyse said, giving me a quick hug. “Did you see they rioted in Vancouver last night because they lost the Stanley Cup?” I chuckled, “Only Canadians would riot when they LOSE the Cup! I did see that on the front page of the Trib. Are we ready?” “Michelle and...
"I'm dreaming of a White Christmas..." Warren was crooning. "Well quit dreaming, because you got one." Peg laughed, as she pointed out the window at the lightly falling snow. It was Christmas morning, and the Kelleher family was gathered around the tree, opening presents. There were a couple of inches of snow on the ground, and it was still falling. It was a perfect New England Christmas morning. A car pulled up in front of the house, as Peg was looking out the window. "Here comes...
Sean may have spoke his first word on his birthday but that wasn't his first growth accomplishment. He was rolling over before four months, scooting before five months, and crawling before six months. Crawling became an issue because Sean was fast and fearless. The three days between his six month birthday and Christmas saw another change. He began teething. Everyone knows what a tooth ache feels like. Especially annoying are the tooth aches that are just below the threshold of actual pain....
August 1981, Chicago, Illinois On Sunday morning, I made my usual call to Karin. I described everything in the apartment and all the things I’d done during the week, including the reception. Both of us would start school in a week and we were both looking forward to it. When we finished talking, I went out for my run, showered, and ate breakfast. I made some tea, started a load of laundry, and then turned on the stereo. I put on an REO Speedwagon album and then relaxed on the couch with the...
August 21, 1989, Chicago, Illinois “Unbelievable,” I said when I read the headline from the Chicago Tribune. “It says here that Solidarity activist Tadeusz Mazowiecki was nominated to be Prime Minister of Poland.” I hadn’t had a chance to read the paper on Sunday because it hadn’t been delivered before we left for the race track in Michigan. “So now what?” Kara asked. “We’re in totally uncharted territory. Your guess is as good as anyone’s right about now.” “Steve, do you have a minute?”...
July, 1983, Chicago, Illinois I woke up early on the First of July, because my body clock was still set to Swedish time. The flight back had been long but uneventful, and I was happy that the businessman in the seat next to me hadn’t wanted to talk. I read, wrote some longhand journal entries, ate, and generally relaxed while the plane zipped over the Atlantic. I’d come home, taken a sauna, eaten a light meal, and gone straight to bed, not bothering to check messages, look at the mail that...
June 1977 When I got home, I grabbed a Coke and some chips and went right to my room. I didn’t think I could deal with my parents or Jeff or Stephanie. I just needed to be by myself. That wouldn’t seem odd to anyone, because I often went to my room to read. In addition, I now had the TV I’d received for my birthday. I flipped it on to WXIX Channel 19 and reruns of Gilligan’s Island and Green Acres played in the background while I read. I had to get my mind clear for the final exams that...
July, 1982, Milford, Ohio I woke up early on Friday morning to make breakfast for Kara and her mom before she went to work. Mrs. Blanchard was surprised, but very pleased. After her mom left for work, Kara gave me a fierce kiss. “Thanks for staying in and cooking breakfast for us,” Kara said. “I hope that doesn’t cause you trouble with Stephanie, with you breaking your normal routine.” “Don’t worry about it,” I said, kissing her back. “We got in a bit later than I expected, and she’ll...
July, 1983, Chicago, Illinois After Rosie left, I stripped the sheets from my bed, as well as the cover of the duvet, and tossed everything into the washing machine. I lit a lavender candle in the room, and then swept and dusted. I did a quick spot-check of the rest of the house and noticed that the tub in the sauna needed to be cleaned. I scrubbed it, then mopped the sauna floor with a damp sponge mop. I finished cleaning the sauna about the time the washing machine finished, so I moved...
May 26, 1991, Iron Mountain, Michigan “Shall we see if we can find a farm?” I asked at breakfast on Sunday morning. “That sounds like a great idea,” Jessica said. “There’s a visitor’s bureau in town,” Kara said. “I saw it when we were here the first time.” “I’m sorry I ruined that vacation,” Jessica said. “Ruined?” I protested. “Are you kidding? Getting you back was way more important than a few days of vacation!” “I agree,” Kara added. “Jess, you know exactly how bad off Steve was...
I don't know whether it has ever happened to you, but just occasionally I meet a girl who for some reason completely takes your breath away. She has such an effect on you that you can hardly sleep at night and you spend all your spare time just thinking about her and longing to get to know her. This story is just about the way I met the most important woman in my life. It was during the year before that fateful yet wonderful Christmas that I became increasingly aware of Linda. The time I...
August, 1984, Chicago, Illinois The rest of the week proceeded as expected - class on Wednesday, as well as the usual visit from Penny, work on Thursday, and class on Friday. Kara and I had lunch together at IIT, Sofia practiced her driving and parking, and I hung out with Mark Agnini after class for beers. Staci and I got into a couple of interesting debates about the Old Testament that Mark had to break up to allow others in the class to participate. She was very much of the ‘directly...
March 25, 2000, Chicago, Illinois “What time do I need to have you home?” “8:00pm will be fine,” Misty replied. “My parents are in Normal visiting my brother at Illinois State. They aren’t supposed to be home before 10:00pm.” Misty and I were in my car on the way to the NIKA apartment which, fortunately, was not being used. With our expansion, it was in more or less regular use, and that meant I didn’t have access to it as often as I would have liked. I was glad there had been a delay in...
January 17, 1989, Chicago, Illinois “What time do you have to leave this morning?” Kara asked as we showered together on Tuesday morning. “About 8:30am,” I said. “I’m driving over to get Jeri, then heading to O’Hare. We have an 11:00am flight. Assuming all goes well, we’ll be in the office by 3:00pm Pacific time. We’ll spend a couple hours going over the software then go to dinner. The demo is tomorrow. Our flight back on Thursday leaves LA at 11:00am, so we’ll be home by 8:00pm, I...
At the rehearsal on Saturday afternoon, everyone wanted to know how our Canberra concerts went. The others laughed when Megan told everyone about the young girl grabbing and kissing me; I was asked if I snuck her up to the room for some more activities after the main show had finished. “She might have responded to a private showing,” Bruce said. “Fuck off, she was fourteen, if that,” I said. “I have to draw the line somewhere.” “You could have drawn a line across her fourteen year old...
Chapter 21: Christmas I aced all my end of semester exams as you would expect. There were a lot of stressed out students, everyone was more than happy for the holidays to arrive. I hadn’t attended the Christmas dance, and Chloe had persuaded her parents that another boy was good enough to take her, so he had been allowed to take her to the dance. Chloe had informed me that they were just going to the dance as friends. She emphasized they wouldn’t be dating. But since he was one from the...
June 1977 Friday ended up being a non-event. The more I thought about it, the more I was sure that there was no way on this earth I could say what happened between Birgit and me was a sin. Calling it a sin would debase it into a meaningless act. I could never do that. And the more I thought about Jennie McGrath, the more sure I was that I couldn’t call what she did for me a sin, either. If the church was right, I was going to hell. And frankly, there was no way that could be true. So I...
July 22, 2000, Chicago, Illinois “Albert, do you have everything packed?” Mom asked. “Yes, Mom!” I replied, rolling my eyes because she’d asked before I went to bed. “He’ll be fine, Babe,” Dad said. “Let’s walk to the hospital.” I usually didn’t get up early, but Dad had suggested it would help Mom if I walked to the hospital with her because I was leaving to see Jane for three weeks. Mom, Dad, Aunt Kara and I left the house and headed down the sidewalk towards the hospital where Mom and...
May 14, 1997, Chicago, Illinois “Start talking!” Melanie demanded when I sat down in her office about an hour later. “There isn’t much to say. Katya found the information for me when I asked her to look into several things about Brandon Littleton, Kevin Lomax, and John Milton.” “Do you know more about him?” “A LOT more. I don’t think you want to know.” “Probably not, but I’m your criminal defense attorney, and even though San Antonio doesn’t have you involved in this, you know the CPD...
“So, how should we do these Stone’s songs?” Phil asked at our rehearsal session. “I think we all know the music, we just need to come up with a pretty awesome arrangement; we don’t want to sound like yet another cheap cover band.” “I had some ideas, if it’s okay for me to make some suggestions,” Allison said. “Of course it is,” Phil said. “Everyone can have a say, there’s no rule that says you can’t participate in the discussion.” “Thanks, Phil, I guess being the newest here, I’m a bit...
May 11, 1992, Chicago, Illinois Monday was turning out to be a LONG day. After my run and talk with Gina, and my talk with Elyse, I had a full day at the office scheduled. First was our leadership meeting in the morning, and then I had status meetings with each team. At lunch I’d gone to see Siobhán and explained that I was going to break off the sexual relationship, but that I wanted to remain friends. She was disappointed, but admitted that Thursday would have been the last time, since she...
January 19, 1989, En-Route from LAX to ORD When the engines of the plane started, Jeri reached over and took my hand. She held it while we pushed away from the gate, and taxied for takeoff. Her grip tightened a bit as we hurtled down the runway, but nothing like the death grip she’d had on my arm for the flight out. The plane roared its way into the air and once we leveled out, Jeri’s grip loosened but she didn’t let go of my hand. “How are you doing?” I asked with a touch of...
September 1982, Chicago, Illinois The weekend was quiet and besides homework, I worked on the program changes for Frank, called Karin, Tatyana, and Kara, and hung out with my usual study group. Monday was refreshingly normal. On Tuesday morning, I handed Katy my completed intake form. She put it in an envelope and stuck it in her bag. She said she’d let me know soon about the interview. On Tuesday afternoon, after having lunch with Stephie, I made my rounds and then I headed over to Sigma...
October 1982, Chicago, Illinois The drive back to Chicago was as uneventful as usual, and I arrived at the apartment just before 6:00pm. When I arrived, Elyse and Stephie were sitting on the couch and Jackie was sitting on the loveseat. Stephie hopped up as I opened the door and greeted me with a hug and a kiss. “Hi, Peaches!” I said. “Glad you’re home, Yankee!” “Hi, Steve,” Elyse and Jackie both said. “Hey,” I replied. “How was the weekend?” “Well, it was just Kurt with me, Stephie,...
June 11, 1989, Chicago, Illinois It was just after 3:00am when I kissed Trish goodbye. She’d been an enthusiastic, energetic, and adventurous lover. We’d done just about anything either of us could think of, though her breasts weren’t large enough for a tit-fuck. The last time had been in the shower where we’d ostensibly gone to clean up afterwards, but instead I ended up taking her from behind as she leaned against the wall of the shower. “I think I’ll have you again, Steve Adams,” she...
May 1978 The first couple of weeks in May were busy with school, work, and friends. Except for Becky, I didn’t even have any dates. But I was OK with that. Well, almost OK. I wanted to see Anna, but it likely wasn’t going to happen until school was out. I had tutoring sessions with Melanie, but she still wouldn’t talk to me about anything other than Spanish. Barely a hello. I was grateful for the tutoring, but it was maddening seeing my friend this way. I hoped someday she could understand...
March, 1982, Milford, Ohio As I drove along I-65, I thought about what Stephanie had asked for and what Bethany had said without even knowing about the request. Of course, because Bethany and I were so in tune, she might have actually had an idea that I was struggling with getting involved with my sister again. I kept turning it over and over in my mind and I kept coming to the same conclusion — that I shouldn’t do it. I was torn between doing what Stephanie wanted and doing what Kara and...
September 7, 1992, Chicago, Illinois “That went reasonably well,” Michelle said when her parents drove off. “There were a few times I thought my expression would give away something I shouldn’t. You were messing with me, weren’t you?” She grabbed both my hands and smiled, “I was telling the truth, in my own way. Thank you!” She leaned forward and kissed my cheek. “So, what’s left?” I asked. “To visit UofC tomorrow and formally withdraw from classes. To spend some time with you and your...
October 1981, Chicago, Illinois I arrived back at the apartment just before 10:00pm and saw the address for the party. I decided I wasn’t particularly interested in going so I put on some music, poured myself a glass of wine, and started reading more about Russia. I was alternating between the history and culture book and the Communist Party book, decided on the history and culture book for this time. I didn’t get much reading done because I was thinking about Tatyana, which led me to...
January 23, 1996, Chicago, Illinois “Father, bless!” I said, greeting Father Basil with upturned palms. “Bless you, Stephen,” he said as I kissed his hand. The waiter showed us to a quiet table along the wall of Roditys in Greektown. He took our drink orders and was back quickly. We placed our food orders right away and he left to put them in with the kitchen. “I’m not quite sure how to address this, so I’m just going to ask you bluntly. Are you the father of Michelle’s baby?” I shook my...
June 29, 1995, Chicago, Illinois On Thursday, I finally had lunch with Melissa again, something I hadn’t been looking forward to. Much like with Cèlia, Melissa and I had passed an inflection point and I was left with sub-optimal paths forward. I’d been struggling with the possible solutions, and all of them had pitfalls. When I walked into Takumi, I had something of a plan. Whether it was good or not would only be known once everything played out. “I spoke to my wives,” I said after we’d...
December 5, 2000, Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minnesota “I had a good time last night,” I said. “I was surprised you invited a friend!” Mary laughed as we walked into the exam room, “Naomi had a good time as well. You know what a Resident’s life is like.” I nodded, “No social life.” “Exactly. You guys seemed to hit it off pretty well.” “Yes, but I’m not here for that!” “You’re everywhere for that, and you know it!” I couldn’t help but laugh. “Let’s just say that you hit the sweet spot -...

The Magic Of Christmas By Jena Corso Edited By Angela Meyers "Oh so you are awake?" said his mother poking her head in his room. "Morning honey. I hear the tv on." "Yeah, I didn't sleep so well," said Brayden rubbing his eyes. "Too excited about Christmas," said his mother coming in. "Well that and what I told you last night," sighed Brayden. "I still feel horrible." "Well not that I want to be negative on Christmas but you should honey," said his mother folding her arms....

March 1980, Hovås/Göteborg, Sweden I woke early as usual, but just enjoyed being in bed with Katt. When she woke, she hopped out of bed and pulled a robe out of her closet and handed it to me. “There’s a spare toothbrush in the bathroom. Go have your shower, then we’ll have breakfast after I have my shower.” I quickly showered and brushed my teeth, and went back to Katt’s room. She went to shower and came back a few minutes later. She dressed, and I got a very good look at her sexy body...
April 5, 1997, Chicago, Illinois “You missed cuddles this morning!” Birgit said accusingly when I walked into the house about 9:30am. “I know, Pumpkin, but I had a work emergency and had to go see Aunt Joyce and Grandpa A.” “And now we have to get ready for karate!” “I know. We’ll have some family time this afternoon. I don’t have any plans.” “Good!” I hugged her and the rest of the kids, then went to find Kara. We hugged and kissed, and went straight upstairs to get ready for...
September 3, 1989, Chicago, Illinois “Good morning, Sensei,” I said, bowing to Sensei Jim. “Good morning!” he said waving me to a chair in his office. “How was your trip?” I asked. “Enlightening. I spent most of my time acting as a manservant to Sensei Robert and Sensei Hiro.” “He who will lead, must first serve,” I said. “Someday, I’m going to send you to Sensei Hiro, should he live long enough. You understand.” “Does that mean you are now 6th Dan?” I...
October 29, 2000, Chicago, Illinois Birgit followed me as far as the stairs, then scooted upstairs when I went to the front door and opened it. “Hi!” Sophie said. “Hi!” I replied and held the door open so she could come into the house. I closed the door behind her then led her to my study where I waited until she went in, and then walked in, closing the door behind me. I nodded to one of the wingback chairs, she sat down in one, and I sat down in the other. “Is something wrong?” she...
Chapter 20 - Lead up to Christmas I had a few things I wanted to do before Christmas, I knew it was going to be a busy time. The grandparents were going to be back visiting again. After my revelation to my Granddad of Dads portfolio, things had been a lot better at Thanksgiving, he mellowed towards Dad, learning that he had made good money had changed his perspective on his sons abilities, I don’t know if Grandma had dropped the bombshell of my net worth while they were here last time, but...
Are you looking forward to a merry Christmas this year? Of course, you are! But how is that supposed to happen when you have to deal with family over the holidays? Fuck, you can’t even say ‘the holidays’ without some dipshit falling over and having a heart attack because you used the phrase ‘the holidays’ instead of Christmas.Do you know what stands between you and a peaceful, fantastic Christmas? Well, people! People ruin everything. So instead of dealing with people over Christmas, the...
Big Tits Porn SitesAugust, 1983, Chicago, Illinois I walked in the near 90°F heat to Carla’s place. I was grateful that the humidity of the morning had dropped significantly; otherwise the heat would have been unbearable. By the time I walked up the steps to the apartment over the photography studio and knocked on her door, I had broken into a light sweat. Carla answered almost immediately and invited me inside her studio apartment. The air was moderately cool, and the window air conditioner was running full...
