November 5, 1995, Chicago, Illinois

“Hi!” Kara called out, jumping up from the couch.

I pulled her into my arms and hugged her tightly, but released her almost immediately as a small army of kids suddenly mobbed me, demanding my attention!

“Hi Kids!” I said, then hugged each one in turn.

“How was Ohio?” Kara asked when I’d hugged the last of the kids.

“Good. I have some stuff to tell you and Jess, but it’s easier if we wait for her to wake up rather than have to repeat it all twice.”

“Did something happen?”

“Can we please wait for Jess?”

Kara cocked her head and looked at me, “I suppose. Michelle will be home before then.”

“That’s going to be interesting,” I said. “I need to get a bite to eat.”

“You didn’t stop?”

“Wendy’s isn’t exactly what I’d call ‘low carb’,” I laughed.

Kara and I walked to the kitchen, followed by Birgit, Stephie, and Ashley. The three girls sat at the table while I made my lunch, and Kara pulled one of the stools from the island next to the table for herself.

“Did you see Joseph and Amelia?” Birgit asked.

“Yes. Aunt Joyce wants to come to visit, but she’s really busy, and Uncle Jake is helping the Navy with a submarine. Grandpa Adams said they’re going to come visit at Thanksgiving.”

“Your mom, too?” Birgit asked with a frown.

“Yes. But we’ll be nice to her.”

“She’s mean!” Stephie said.

“I know, Bunny Rabbit, but we’re nice to her anyway. We try to be nice to everyone. What did you guys do while I was away?”

“Played with our friends,” Stephie said. “And Birgit did karate with Mommy. What did you do?”

“I visited with Aunt Joyce and Grandpa Adams, and talked to Doctor Mercer.”

“Aunt Elyse said you were getting your head shrunk!” Stephie giggled. “It doesn’t look smaller!”

“Aunt Elyse is a turkey!” I laughed. “Where is she?”

“Kissing Eduardo!” she giggled.

“They went out to lunch and then they were going shopping,” Kara laughed. “Though she did spend the night at his place.”

“Yes! Kissing!”

“She’s supposed to kiss Eduardo!” I said. “He’s her boyfriend!”

“Anyone home?” I heard Michelle call out.

“In the kitchen!” Kara called back.

Michelle came into the kitchen with a shoulder bag and small suitcase.

“How was Pennsylvania?” I asked.

“Quiet. Peaceful.”

“Good. Did you make any progress?”

“Finish your lunch and come upstairs, if it’s OK with Kara.”

“It is,” Kara said.

“Thanks.”

Michelle turned and left the kitchen. Kara and I exchanged a look and both shrugged, neither of us sure what the invitation meant. I finished my lunch, rinsed the plate and glass and put them in the dishwasher, then kissed Kara and my girls and headed upstairs. I knocked on Michelle’s door and she called out for me to come in. I went in and shut the door behind me.

“Come sit with me,” she said, moving to the loveseat.

I walked over and sat down beside her. She said nothing, but simply took my hand in hers and held it. I waited in the increasingly uncomfortable silence, for her to speak. It was, perhaps ten minutes later, when she finally did.

“I’ve come to a complicated intersection,” Michelle said quietly, “and I’m not quite sure which of the roads to take. And the decision is complicated by being pregnant, which is the one thing I am very, very happy about. It’s everything else I’m not sure about.”

“How can I help?” I asked.

She took a deep breath and let it out, “I wish I knew the answer to that question. For three weeks I’ve gone over everything in my mind, and in a way, I’m more confused than I was when I left. But I have to make some important decisions, even if I’m confused. I want you to help me raise my child, but I’m not sure if I can be around you if I’m not sleeping with you. And I’m not sure I can continue sleeping with you if you’re going to have casual relationships with other women. And that’s all complicated by the fact I work for you. Please don’t take this the wrong way, but I feel trapped.”

I could see how she would feel that way, but I knew something she didn’t, and I didn’t think we could continue the conversation with me knowing something important which she didn’t. Melissa would forgive the indiscretion, I was sure.

“What if there were a way to fix that last complication?” I asked.

“What do you mean?”

“Melissa Mascioli is going to call you tomorrow and offer you an administrative assistant role which is very much like the one Kimmy fulfills for NIKA.”

“Did you ask her to do that?” Michelle asked, sounding upset.

“No. She approached me and asked my permission to speak to you. I granted it, and I would have no matter what the situation between you and me was. I would never stand in the way of someone’s professional growth, and you know as well as I do, Kimmy is not going anywhere.”

“No kidding!” she laughed softly. “Do you think I should take it?”

“I think you should talk to her about it,” I said. “It’s more responsibility and more pay, though I have no idea what she’s going to offer you.”

“And the baby?”

“You should tell her about that, but we managed while Kimmy was on maternity leave. And M&M has the same policy in place, though the benefits aren’t quite as generous. That said, we have the support agreement we signed, and I promise that no matter what you decide, I’ll make sure you and the baby have absolutely everything you need and are very comfortable.”

“Why me? I don’t know her that well.”

“Jennifer recommended you. And Melissa knows I would never put you in the position you’re in if I didn’t trust you implicitly.”

“Does she know about us?”

“Not that I’m aware of. I can’t imagine Jennifer shared anything about our personal relationship. I certainly haven’t.”

“Would you be very upset if I consider it?”

“No, of course not. You have to do what’s best for you and your baby.”

“And us?” she asked.

“With regard to dalliances, I am who I am. I make no apologies. They will happen, and the number will wax and wane. Sometimes there won’t be any. Sometimes there will be several. I know you don’t approve, and I know you wish I would limit myself to Jessica, Kara, and you, but we both know that’s not going to happen. Will I eventually stop having dalliances? Maybe. But you can’t depend on that happening in any particular timeframe.”

“What would happen if I decided I didn’t want to make love with you?”

“Other than not sleeping in your bed on Sunday nights? Nothing would change. If you don’t know that, you’ve completely misunderstood me.”

Michelle took a deep breath and let it out.

“That is my biggest struggle, Steve. I love, absolutely love, what we do together. But I can never do it with anyone but you. If we stop, it means I’ll be celibate for the rest of my life. That is the one thing about which I’m completely sure.”

“And that is one decision with which I really can’t help you. Kara might be able to provide some input, if you want.”

“She and I have spoken at length about it. About what she would have done if you hadn’t taken her back. She wanted kids badly enough, she would have most likely set aside that belief, though it would have upset her greatly to do so, and it probably would have eventually wrecked her marriage because of guilt.”

I nodded, “I know. It’s something I hear from you and Kara, but it’s not something I can internalize.”

“If you could, then perhaps you wouldn’t have deflowered so many young women.”

“It takes two to tango, Michelle. Not everyone believes the way you and Kara do. In fact, the vast majority of people don’t. But, it’s part of your core being, so you can’t simply ignore it.”

“I don’t regret sharing my virginity with you, Steve. Please know that. And I understood the ramifications of my choice then and my choice now. I will never, ever believe it was wrong to make love to you. And I don’t want you to think it was wrong to make love to me. That said,” she smiled wryly, “I’ve made my bed and I have to lie in it.”

“Before you make any decisions, why don’t you talk to Melissa? I don’t want you feeling trapped, and perhaps that will provide you with some freedom, if that’s what you need. Maybe working at M&M is what you need - to get away from me and my circus, at least part of the time.”

She nodded, and squeezed my hand.

“If I were to move into my own place, would we still be able to be together? I mean, occasionally?”

“I think you, Jessica, Kara, and I can work out whatever arrangements are necessary.”

“I love all three of you, very much.”

“And we all love you. I suppose I should ask now about tonight.”

Michelle laughed softly, “Three weeks without sex? I’m about to climb the walls!”

“Uhm, isn’t that a problem for the future?”

She took a deep breath and let it out, “One day at a time, Steve. That’s all we can do - take life one day at a time. Go see Kara and the kids. I’ll see you at dinner.”

“OK.”

She released my hand and leaned over and kissed my cheek. I got up and left her room, pulling the door closed behind me. I went downstairs to find Kara and the kids. We played with them for a few hours, and then Birgit and I went to the kitchen to make dinner. Jessica came in just before dinner was ready to give me a kiss, and I asked her to help get things on the table.

After our family dinner, and after Bo, Gina, Brian, Samantha, and the Quinns had left, Jessica, Kara, and I went to the ‘Indian’ room with a pot of lemon tea.

“Kara said you had some things to tell us,” Jessica said.

I nodded, “First, and please keep this to yourselves until you hear otherwise, but Joyce is having a hysterectomy on Thursday. She has stage 1A cervical cancer.”

“Oh no!” Kara gasped, a tear forming in her eye.

“Kara,” Jessica said gently, putting her arm around her, “At that stage, a hysterectomy is a very effective treatment, so much so that you could call it a cure. Tiger, when was she diagnosed?”

“She had some abnormal cells about a year ago, and they did the same cauterization treatment she had done a decade ago. The cells came back and they diagnosed her last Thursday.”

“That surgery is quick, but I suppose she had already dealt with the possibility the first time.”

I nodded, “Yes, so she simply told them to schedule the surgery. She’s telling Jake today. He was in Connecticut, either Groton or New London, working on some propulsion system problem for the Navy. She told her grandmother and me, but didn’t want to tell Jake over the phone.”

“Understandable,” Jessica said. “How is she?”

“Emotional, but holding things together. Her grandmother is a tough cookie and will make sure Joyce is OK.”

“How was your talk with Doctor Mercer?”

I smiled, “She said I passed my check-up.”

“Good!”

“I do have two other things to tell you,” I said. “First, when Joyce and I were at dinner with my dad, I ran into Donna Woody.”

“No way!” Kara gasped. “How is she?”

“Twelve years older than the last time I saw her,” I grinned. “And Marcus is fourteen. He’s a good-looking kid.”

“Let me guess,” Kara smirked, “you didn’t go back to Joyce’s house!”

“Actually, I did. Donna and Marcus had dessert with us, then she and I talked for maybe ten minutes. We exchanged phone numbers and I promised to call her. I’d like to see her.”

Kara laughed, “Oh I BET you would! Is she still as pretty?”

“Yes, though she’s not pregnant, so, you know...” I smirked.

Jessica laughed, “I remember reading that in your journal. She’s the one who got you hooked on making love with pregnant girls! Michelle is going to be VERY happy!”

“We need to talk about that, too, but after.”

“OK. What are you going to do with Donna?”

Kara laughed hard, “I think THAT is obvious!”

“Are you sure that’s OK?” I asked. “You were once worried she might swoop in and steal me at the last moment.”

Kara shook her head, “No. You aren’t in love with her, are you?”

“No. I cared very deeply for her and I really would like to spend time with her, even if it’s platonic.”

“I don’t have a problem with it. Jess?”

Jessica shrugged, “We agreed Steve was in charge of his sex life, so long as he behaved and followed the rules. So, I’m OK with it.”

“About that,” I said.

“Tiger?” Jessica asked with obvious concern in her voice. “What did you do?”

“Recently I made a choice, freely, to violate one of the rules. I was with Eve Falvey.”

“And you’re just telling us now?” Jessica asked,

“It wasn’t months ago, Babe. Nobody, and I mean NOBODY knows except the two of you. Obviously, I can’t tell Elyse, or even let her read my journals.”

“NOW that decision makes more sense,” Kara said. “The whole ‘babysitting’ issue was important, but not important enough to cut off her access.”

I nodded, “Our disagreements about dalliances were important, but this is obviously something I can’t reveal to anyone besides the two of you.”

“Why?” Jessica asked.

“Remember the kindred spirits comment? Well, she and I have talked, a lot, and I decided to do it.”

“You trust her to keep this quiet?”

“Babe, if I didn’t, I never would have done it.”

“Will this be an ongoing thing?” Kara asked.

“Given the need for absolute secrecy with no possibility of discovery, it is going to have to be more discreet than anything I’ve ever done. That obviously limits the possibilities. Can you imagine if Penny were to find out?”

Kara smirked, “Your life wouldn’t be worth a plugged nickel!”

“What did Doctor Mercer say about you restarting your dalliances?”

“She’s accepted our basic premise, and as such, so long as I don’t get out of control, and don’t go after any underage girls, she’s not making a big issue of it. My concern, obviously, is that in the past couple of months I’ve been with Meredith, Jasmine, Molly, and Eve. And there are a couple looking on the horizon - Lyusya and Donna. That seems to me to be on the verge of getting out of control.”

“Are you happy, Snuggle Bear?”

“Very.”

“And none of this is causing you any REAL problems?”

“No.”

“Then I think you’re just, well, making up for lost time. You’ll find your equilibrium. What about Michelle?”

“She’s confused, and said she felt trapped by circumstances. I told her about Melissa’s request, and she’s going to consider it. She’s also trying to decide if she should stay here, and if she should keep sleeping with me. Of course, when I asked about tonight she mentioned it had been three weeks and she was climbing the walls!”

Jessica and Kara both laughed knowingly.

“I think he’s going to be VERY tired in the morning!” Kara teased.

“If he can even walk!” Jessica smirked.

“I have plenty of energy!’ I replied. “In fact, if you want a demonstration before work, I’m happy to oblige!”

“Maybe...” Jessica said coyly. “What did you have in mind?”

“What do you think, Kara?” I asked with a grin. “Tag team?”

“Yes!”

“Goody!” Jessica squealed, jumping up.

Kara and I followed her, laughing, up the stairs to our room.

November 6, 1995, Chicago, Illinois

“Again?” I asked with a silly smile.

“I told you I was ready to climb the walls!” Michelle replied fiercely as she mounted me very early on Monday morning. “Just lie back and enjoy it!”

I chuckled and did as she said, reveling at the feel of her tight tunnel, imagining what she would look like doing this five months in the future when she was eight months pregnant. I smiled at the thought.

“What’s THAT smile for,” Michelle asked.

“Just imagining what this will be like when you’re seven or eight months pregnant.”

“That excites you?”

I nodded, “It does.”

I would have told her WHY it excited me, but talking about past lovers was the LAST thing Michelle wanted to do, especially when she was in the throes of an orgasm which had just begun. When her orgasm passed, she began working on another one.

Twenty minutes later, I crawled out of Michelle’s bed and staggered to the shower. It was going to be a LONG day.

“Poor baby,” she giggled, climbing into the shower with me.

“I had a long drive back from Cincinnati, entertained Jessica and Kara before Jess went to work, and then you didn’t let me get any sleep except a couple of short cat naps! You, on the other hand, spent three weeks praying, meditating, and working in the garden!”

“MY garden is well tended,” she laughed. “Plowed repeatedly and thoroughly seeded!”

I laughed, “I had a vasectomy, so there is no seed!”

“Quit spoiling my fun!” she said firmly.

“Yes, Dear!”

Michelle poured shampoo into her hand and began massaging it into my scalp.

“We’ve made love all night before!” she insisted.

“I’m getting old,” I chuckled.

“Oh, you are NOT!” she laughed. “You performed your duties to my complete satisfaction!”

“And today at work?”

“Take a nap!” she laughed.

We finished our shower, lovingly washing each other’s bodies, and then I left for my run with Gina, which was going to be hell, given how little sleep I’d had. I managed to complete the run, but the walk back home made it clear just how difficult the day was going to be. I also, as I walked, continued to wonder exactly how Michelle was going to resolve what seemed to be an impossible conundrum - her need to make love with me, and her complete rejection of the idea of dalliances.

“You look tired,” Kara smirked when I came into the master bedroom for a shower and to dress for work.

“I believe the term is ‘rode hard and put away wet’!”

“Poor baby!” Kara teased.

“Funny, that’s exactly what Michelle said! Did you talk to her this morning, you little scamp?”

“Mayhap I has, Suh,” she drawled, then started laughing.

I went into the bathroom, adjusted the spray, stripped off my clothes and got into the shower.

“What’s she going to do?” I asked. “If anyone can guess, it’s you.”

“I honestly don’t know,” Kara said, leaning against the sink. “There is no way to resolve her desire to have you fuck her silly on a regular basis and her objections to your dalliances.”

“My thoughts exactly. So, I ask again, what does she do?”

A WellLived Life 2 Book 5 MichelleChapter 73 On Being A Real Man

May 3, 1992, Chicago, Illinois “Thanks for coming early,” I said to Jorge as we sat down in my study. “What’s up?” he asked. “I just get the feeling that something’s not right. That you’re just kind of going through the motions.” Jorge was silent for a moment. He leaned back, closing his eyes, took a deep breath and started to speak, with eyes still closed. “Karate and dance have more than a few things in common,” he said slowly. “Each have their sets of prescribed moves. You can learn...

A WellLived Life 2 Book 5 MichelleChapter 67 Thatrsquos What Friends Are For

March 22, 1992, Chicago, Illinois That evening, I was in Abbie’s room as I usually was on Sunday nights. We’d made love and were cuddling, which was also the usual for us these days. Our athletic sex had turned more soft and loving, something that had surprised me at first, but then, as I saw the changes in Abbie, made perfect sense. “I have a request,” she said. “OK.” She explained what she wanted and I sat up and looked at her. “I’m not sure I can do that. It’s not really within the...

A WellLived Life 2 Book 5 MichelleChapter 55 The Unexamined Life Is Not Worth Living

February 3, 1992, Chicago, Illinois “This may be our last talk,” I said to Doctor Mercer. “Why?” “You remember the power struggle I talked about?” “Yes.” “I’ve decided to kill her instead!” I laughed. “I’m glad you laughed, because if I thought you were serious, I’d have to report it!” “I AM serious. But I also won’t do it!” “Then you aren’t serious. What happened?” I had no secrets from Doctor Mercer at this point, save my Outfit connections, so I told her the story from start to...

Michelles Continuing Affair Ch 2

When I got back to the house, Michelle was dressed in a pair of sweats and thin T-shirt, no bra. That didn’t surprise me, she’s been going without a bra at home more and more since she started seeing Mike. It still made me a little horny, seeing her so obviously braless in front of another guy, even if she had spent the night naked with him. I kind of suspected she wanted to get me alone, so she could ask about my night with Jacqui…and I was anxious to tell her, but it wasn’t to be for a while...

January 1, 1992, Chicago, Illinois “Well, THAT puts a completely new spin on things,” I said. “It does,” Jennifer agreed. “She had thought about you as a possibility, but when we talked it through, we knew she could never ask because of what happened with Carla. And now it’s a moot point, obviously.” “I told Jess and Kara this, but Katt and Mikael are having trouble conceiving, and the tests show it’s most likely him. They asked me to help, if you will, when I was in Sweden. I had to turn...

Michelles Gift part 2

Siobahn and her boyfriend Brian have decided to give their friend Michelle a very special birthday gift. They’ve just returned from Michelle’s birthday party at the local bar to Michelle’s house. ‘Oh, someone’s been naughty tonight! Come taste.’ The tall black man was immediately on his knees between the legs of his girlfriend’s best friend. As...

May 23, 1992, Chicago, Illinois “Thanks for bringing Ed this morning, Dave!” I said. “You’re welcome. I heard you’re visiting a friend in Glencoe.” “Most Fridays, yes.” “After you left early yesterday, Ally told me that her husband got the job with the Sheriff’s department. He’ll be moving here next week. They found a place to live as well. I let Kimmy know.” “Perfect!” “So what’s up with possibly moving to the West Loop area?” “I don’t know yet,” I said. “I’ll hear back from the legal...

Domestic Dilemma

Domestic Dilemma Janet L. Stickney [email protected] Cheryl and I were happier than ever before, and simply enjoyed the company of the other without any thought that our lives could get any better, or worse for that matter. We had been married about a year when we inherited a lot of money, enough so that neither of us would ever have to work again as a matter of fact, and that led us to try things we had never experienced before. When I casually mentioned that when I was in...

‘I’m so glad you could make it!’ exclaimed Michelle when she saw Siobhan and Siobhan’s boyfriend walk into the bar. ‘Well, you didn’t think I’d miss your birthday, silly! Sorry we’re late.’ Siobhan gave a wry smile and then turned toward the tall, black man accompanying her. ‘Michelle, I want you to meet,’ ‘Brian,’ Michelle finished the introduction for her friend. ‘It is very nice to meet you, I’ve heard so much about you.’ ‘All good I hope,’ chuckled Brian. May 16, 1992, Chicago, Illinois “Seriously?” Jessica asked as we headed for the dojo. “Yes. Seriously.” I’d arrived home with just enough time to dress for karate, so we hadn’t been able to talk before we started our walk. “But why? They had finally come downstairs about 11:15am and asked me to join them in the sauna. I had been sitting in my study typing furiously into my journal trying to sort out everything Abbie had told me. “If you think about it, it really does make sense,” Kara said. “You taught her how to love and how to be loved.” “I know, but it still...

I was hoping that my imagination wasn’t outpacing what thereality would be. This could all turn out to be a big disappointment. The other possibility that was rolling around in the back of my brain was that Michelle would fall for Mike and then want him over me. I laughed, “Of course you do! Who told you?” “Abbie. She figured I’d get a kick out of it. She arranged for Josie to take the kids to ‘open play’ at the Y during the Rap Session. Jan 1, 2014, a new year. Michelle and I were sitting at our dining room table playing a dice game with her parents after cleaning up the dinner dishes. After Michelle’s mom won the game by about three thousand points, I asked them if they would excuse us for a few minutes. I had been anxious all day, waiting for a few minutes of freedom from our company to show Michelle the story that had just been published, so I asked her if she would read something on the internet with me. In addition, Greg was expressing concern about their lackluster sex life. She knew that she shouldn’t ignore him, but try as she might, she just couldn’t get excited about having sex with him. Michelles Morning Surprise

Michelle squeezed the shower gel into her hand and started to cleanse her smooth skin. She lifted her leg and caressed from ankle to thigh, then over her flat tummy and up to the small swell of her breasts. She gave them a little squeeze and flicked innocently over her nipples with her fingers. Her mind was filled with images of Jason, a guy she’d met at a customer’s office earlier in the week. He was so fit and handsome and Michelle had noticed him looking her up and down, his eyes straying...

Michelle is thirty-eight now and still looks fantastic, I think evenmore so than before. She’s so much more mature than when we were first married. Her breasts have filled out very nicely, but otherwise her body stayed pretty much the same. She is 5’6 ”, 128 lbs, and has a figure to kill for, plus that beautiful face and personality! When she smiles, her entire face is radiant and can light up a whole room. Usually I only see her as my wife. But sometimes I look at her and don’t see my wife of...

Michelles Continuing Affair Ch 3

Mike left for Seattle Sunday morning after breakfast. Shortly after he left, Michelle and I satdown to talk about the weekend. “Honey,” Michelle started, “I need to know, what are you really thinking about me and Mike?” I paused for some time, trying to think how to answer her question. “Babe, there hasn’t ever been anything hotter than watching you and Mike together, especially last night. I don’t know how to explain it more than we’ve already talked about, but I can’t get over the thrill of...

A WellLived Life 2 Book 5 MichelleChapter 63 Mindfulness

March 8, 1992, Chicago, Illinois Michelle and I were sitting in the steam-filled sauna with sweat pouring from our bodies. I had been surprised by her request, but honored it, and as she’d asked, we’d just sat quietly for the first ten minutes. Eventually she broke the silence. “Did you think about what I asked you to?” “Yes. And I think I’ve solved the question of hugs. I don’t hug my guy friends. I don’t hug my parents. Other than my kids, I only hug women who have been, are, or are...

The Significant Others Dilemma

THE SIGNIFICANT OTHER'S DILEMMA by enduringshades I found a parking place near the place. The neighbourhood is now familiar as I have been here several times observing the house before finally plucking up the courage to ring the doorbell. The neighbourhood consists of townhouses, once the homes of proud upper middle class Victorian households, but now accommodating multiple occupancy flats and bedsits. I got out of my car and made my way to the house, but when I got to the front door...

A WellLived Life 2 Book 7 SakurakoChapter 57 Land of the Rising Sun Part III

June 23, 1994, Oguni, Yamagata Prefecture, Japan My first week in Japan flew by, and a routine developed. Sakurako would wake me; I’d exercise and run, then shower and have breakfast, and share tea with Sakurako. After breakfast, I’d meditate, and then have my training session. After lunch, I’d work in the garden, or, as I had this day, wash the floors in the house. Hiroshi would accompany me back to the cottage and we’d talk while I washed up and dressed for dinner. After dinner, I’d spend...

A WellLived Life 2 Book 5 MichelleChapter 81 Victimized

May 26, 1992, Chicago, Illinois “You did the right thing,” I said when she finished the story. “You had no choice. You had to defend yourself.” “Yes, but I stabbed him in the eye!” “I know. Maybe you need to talk to someone else about that besides me. Do you want me to call your priest for you?” “Doctor Bethany called him. He’ll come by after lunch. That’s what I asked her to arrange.” “You told the police everything?” I asked. “Yes. Just how I told you. And they took pictures. It was...

A WellLived Life 2 Book 5 MichelleChapter 53 Master of the House

January 25, 1992, Chicago, Illinois “Well THAT is not what I wanted to hear,” I said, coming back into the sunroom. “What?” Jessica asked. “Dustin Brady died in an accident about four years ago.” “Who?” Abbie asked. “The photographer who took photos of the house after it was remodeled. And who Carla worked for.” “Why try to track HIM down?” Elyse asked. “We’re pretty sure he’s the culprit,” I said, being circumspect because of the kids. “The evidence is anecdotal, but it makes sense....

June 15, 1994, Chicago, Illinois “That’s everything, I think,” I said. “My luggage is in the trunk of the car, I have my passport, tickets, and money, both dollars and yen. I can’t think of anything else.” “I’ll see you in five weeks,” Elyse said, giving me a quick hug. “Did you see they rioted in Vancouver last night because they lost the Stanley Cup?” I chuckled, “Only Canadians would riot when they LOSE the Cup! I did see that on the front page of the Trib. Are we ready?” “Michelle and...

Michelles Massage The Encounter

The promise of the massage on Saturday was the only thing getting Michelle through the week. Ever since she found Brett with that blonde hussy last month, it was all she could do to just get out of bed in the morning, and this week seemed to be actively conspiring to make things worse. On Monday, there was the jerk who ran into her car as it was parked on the street outside her house, busted out a headlight, and left without leaving a number. On Tuesday, she hadn’t met her sales quotas, and so...

Michelles AwakeningPart 3

PT 3 Ch 11 The parking lot at the Pinetop Bar was more of a dusty, dirt field than an actual parking lot. Set along Highway 6, the Pinetop catered mostly to local ranchers, as the young guys preferred to go into Petersville, a much larger town, 40 miles away. As a result, when Mike pulled the car into the lot, they saw that it was about half-full, mostly pick-ups, some newer, many older. But all of them had signs of a working ranch about them. Before they had left the cabin, Mike and Michelle...

Michelles Sexuality ReAwakened Ch 4

Michelle’s plane was scheduled to leave on a Friday afternoon, shortly after lunch, so I asked her to take Thursday and Friday off from work to get ready for the trip. By the week of Michelle’s date with Mike, she was more than a little nervous and my scheme of withholding sex was definitely working, as we were both getting hornier and hornier. Either Michelle was doing her best to seduce me or I would seduce her into making love, right up to the point of impaling her, where I’d tell her, “No,...

Michelles Continuing Affair Ch 5

I’d like to say the time flew by for the next three weeks, but it would be a fib. Jacqui and I continued our two nights a week. We made out in the car, in the park and on her front steps, but I never went inside her house. I knew if I did, we would both be lost in lovemaking. Now that I had a definite plan, I wanted to make it extra special. Michelle and I were still making love, but by now I knew that wasn’t going to make lovemaking with Jacqui any less intense… or her lovemaking with Mike any...

The plane arrived on time, right at 7:45 PM. Fifteen minutes later, I saw Michelle walkingdown the lobby, wearing the leather skirt and sweater, no bra. She looked just as I had envisioned, like a goddess in a dream, so unbelievably beautiful. When she got to me, she wrapped herself around me and gave me one of the best, most emotional kisses of our lives. Obviously, her modesty toward public displays of affection had dissipated significantly over the weekend. When she finally broke away from...

Michelles Continuing Affair Ch 4

That evening I sat at my computer, starting to work on this story, enjoying every minute of it, occasionally glancing at the two gift-wrapped packages on the edge of my desk, not knowing where the story was going in the coming weeks. I couldn’t imagine a guy having a better life than I did right then, a wonderful wife who I loved unwaveringly and a beautiful girlfriend who that wonderful wife knew about and approved of whole-heartedly. I felt like the luckiest guy in the world! Then a funny...

Michelles Sexuality ReAwakened Ch 5

When Michelle got into Seattle and checked into her hotel, she texted me that she had arrived and sent several pictures of the suite. The honeymoon suite was absolutely beautiful. It had a sunken hot tub in one corner, a king size bed, and mirrors on the ceiling over the bed. I had ordered roses on the nightstands and a bottle of their best champagne. A few minutes later, she sent another text, “Are you sure? Can stay in room and come home tomorrow.” I was imagining how beautiful my wife was...

A WellLived Life 2 Book 5 MichelleChapter 69 Big Changes

March 29, 1992, Chicago, Illinois When I arrived home, I took a shower, and explained to my wives what had happened. Neither of them were surprised that she’d asked me to make love, but they were just as surprised as I was about her having been a virgin. “You’re sure she’s OK?” Jessica asked. “She’s fine. We had a good talk before we got dressed. She chose me because she wanted her first time to be perfect, and I fit the bill. I had almost messed it up for her by the way I acted, but my...

Plumbers Dilemma

One Monday morning, a very light trickle from a closed bathroom faucet had turned into a steady flow. Not wanting to receive a hefty water bill, I decided that action finally needed to be taken. After contacting my boss to explain my situation, my boss told me to take the day off, fix the problem, and enjoy a relaxing day, once my plumbing dilemma had been sorted out. Having put in a lot of extra time at work in the preceding months, my boss further added that I had earned the day off.A...

January 12, 1992, Chicago, Illinois “Hi, Sweetheart,” I said when she answered the phone on Sunday morning. “I’m sorry I had to head home so quickly after the announcement. And I’m sorry to take you by surprise that way.” “A normal person wouldn’t have the kind of physical reaction I did.” “You are NOT a normal person!” Bethany said with a laugh. “That isn’t exactly a revelation!” I laughed. “I totally understand why you wanted it to be a surprise. The difference between intimacy and sex.” I smiled, “You think they’re the same thing, right?” “Yes. That’s what I was taught, but you obviously don’t agree and I’d go crazy...

And there were some interesting revelations.” “Jack and Becka?” “Yes, but also her tattoo and piercings! A WellLived Life Book 6 Kara IChapter 5 Housemates

August 1981, Chicago, Illinois On Sunday morning, I made my usual call to Karin. I described everything in the apartment and all the things I’d done during the week, including the reception. Both of us would start school in a week and we were both looking forward to it. When we finished talking, I went out for my run, showered, and ate breakfast. I made some tea, started a load of laundry, and then turned on the stereo. I put on an REO Speedwagon album and then relaxed on the couch with the...

A WellLived Life 2 Book 5 MichelleChapter 85 Burnout

June 15, 1992, Chicago, Illinois Dave had hired two programmers, and to the delight of Doctor Bauer, both had come from IIT. Jeannette Orozco, whom I’d met in Doctor Driesson’s class, and Kanye Frye, who I hadn’t met before I’d had the brief ‘veto’ interview that I usually conducted. I greeted both of them before turning them over to Chris Gibson to fill out their withholding forms and get their IDs, because I needed Kimmy at the leadership meeting. It was a busy day, though Elyse and I...

A WellLived Life Book 8 StephieChapter 36 My Lifes Journey

July, 1983, Chicago, Illinois I woke up early on the First of July, because my body clock was still set to Swedish time. The flight back had been long but uneventful, and I was happy that the businessman in the seat next to me hadn’t wanted to talk. June 1977 When I got home, I grabbed a Coke and some chips and went right to my room. I didn’t think I could deal with my parents or Jeff or Stephanie. I just needed to be by myself. That wouldn’t seem odd to anyone, because I often went to my room to read. In addition, I now had the TV I’d received for my birthday. I flipped it on to WXIX Channel 19 and reruns of Gilligan’s Island and Green Acres played in the background while I read. I had to get my mind clear for the final exams that...
