"We've gone out grocery shopping without him and he was right where he was when we got back," Jane argued.
"I suppose we could try it," Estelle wasn't convinced.
Jane was correct. Josh would sit in his chair until one of the girls came home. Usually it was Estelle. She had two classes four days a week. So she didn't go in on Mondays. With her being at their house only once, Jane got lost. She had to use her cellphone to get the right directions. It seemed as if she had overshot the Howard's place by several miles. Finally they pulled up. Sally was waiting at the door along with Clark.

Josh didn't respond to them. They sat him in Clark's recliner. The Bears were having a terrible season but he turned on Fox just as the kickoff started. Josh sat there seeing nothing. Jane and Estelle sat at the dining room table sipping tea and eating miniture muffins telling all that went on for the past six months. Estelle claimed that Josh's family would be angry with her if she had called last summer. Estelle realized her fears were unfounded.
Brie came downstairs after being awakened by the noises they were making. She wore a red Chinese dress with a dragon imprinted on the front, her blond hair was neatly brushed, and face made up. The long silky dress had slits up both sides.

Jane and Estelle looked at each other in awed shock. He responded to his sister. All four got up and ran into the living room where Brie was still in his lap.
"Brie, it's so nice to see you," Josh said, looking at his beautiful sister. She looked like Victoria though Josh could see the difference. He would not let go of her. He held her tight to him.
"He's talking," Jane whispered to Estelle.
Estelle nodded as tears ran down her face. She embraced Jane not caring what the others thought of them.
"It's been a while, bro," Brie said, not trying to release herself from his bearhug. "Where have you been?"
Josh shook his head, not recalling the past. "It's so good to see you."
