Roxie hadn't been to Anchorage since 2002 for fear of running into the bikers. The first stop was Darla's hairdresser, where Roxie had a cut and perm. This took up most of the morning, but when she was done, she would fit in at any mall or grocery store once she had some different clothes. That would be the next stop after lunch. With a new look, Roxie then went to State Police Headquarters. There she gave her deposition on the woman who was dumped the year before, and Clyde shooting Bugs. The next day she agreed to accompany the CIB Troopers to the gravesites.

The trip would also be to surrender the stolen snowmobiles and retrieve whatever belongings from the cabin that she wished. Darrell was also brought back to Anchorage to clean up and get a haircut. He was interrogated separately, but his account of the woman they found and Clyde's death and burial supported Roxie's. Not knowing any better, Darrell admitted to being intimate with Roxie.

This turn of events brought Roxie back to be questioned about abusing her son. That upset her greatly, but was not part of the deal. While Clyde was alive, he acted the part of Roxie's husband and Darrell's father. Roxie knew Darrell wasn't quite normal, and after Clyde died, he kidnapped a hiker and brought her home. Roxie made her son release the girl on the promise that she wouldn't go to the police. She did report the abduction, and they were again on the run.

Darrell then realized that his attempt at finding a mate caused the police to hunt them. While Roxie was chastising Darrell over kidnapping the girl, she had told him in exasperation that she had rather sleep with him herself than for him to snatch another girl. She had no idea that he remembered that part above the rest of his mother's lecture. Six weeks later he confronted her with her own statement. Darrell was nineteen at the time, which made him a consenting adult.

Capt. Clark suggested that Darrell and Roxie each undergo a psychological examination.

While Darrell didn't know of the societal taboo on incest, in his own mind he had simply taken his mother as his mate. For Roxie it was just a matter of doing what had to be done to survive, and keep him from abducting another girl. Darrell needed institutional help, and Roxie was convinced that this would be best for him if he were to be released into the mainstream populace.

Roxie was hired to be a Baggage Handler, and with her restored documents, would start the following Saturday evening. Darla gave her notice, and was hired for a position in Dispatch at the ASP with her computer experience. One day on break, the similarities in her case, and the woman that was exhumed beside Clyde hit home, and she finally broke down. She had indeed been lucky to survive.

Traces of ether were found in the woman's lungs that matched engine-starting fluid, and were determined to be the actual cause of death along with exposure and the resulting hypothermia. But for her extraordinary effort to not breathe when her abductor held his knife beneath her nose, she would have gotten the full dose sprayed up her nostrils, just as the petite brunette in the red skirt had. Sellers gave her two days off, during which time she clung to Tim like a small child. By the day she returned to work, Tim convinced Darla that she must have a guardian angel watching over her to have had so many things allow her to survive.

When the discovery of the body of the other woman hit the news, the man now going as Larry Duncan realized that the ASP was going to find Darla's body. The ASP realized just such an eventuality, and decided that a change of identity for Darla Reynolds was in order. Clark assigned Tim to create a new identity for her, and that night he made the decision that would change their lives.

"Darla," he said over dinner that night, "how would you like to make this living arrangement more permanent?"

"Tim," she replied, "I think I am comfortable with it. So much so in fact that I feel very safe with you. If it didn't just feel too right, I would consider marrying you some day."

"What do you mean 'too right'?" asked Tim.

"Sort of like, 'fairy tale, dream come true' right," Darla answered. "You have been a perfect gentleman, given me my space to deal with my rape, held and protected me when I fell apart. You obviously care for me and are a special person. You are special to me, Tim. Would you even consider being my husband? I won't mind if you want more time to answer."

Tim was stunned. He was working his way up to asking Darla to marry him. Now she had turned the tables on him.

"I don't need more time," he replied. "I was trying to ask you the same thing. It would simplify getting you a new identity, and well, it would make me very happy. I just spent most of my savings to start that reward fund for you that we are setting up Roxie's new life with. I wanted to buy you an engagement ring and do things right."

"She has had a hard life, Tim," Darla noted. "I don't know too many people whose marital success depended on the engagement ring. We should have a quiet wedding though. Then we should stage a funeral for me to see if the SOB shows up."

"I thought you didn't see his face," remarked Tim.

"I didn't," Darla answered, "but it stands to reason that he will also be at the other girl's funeral tomorrow. All you need to do is to see who would be at both. I don't want him thinking I am still alive."

"I'll let the Captain know tomorrow," Tim said. "He can suggest a way to keep our marriage low-key, and just how to set up the funeral too. Don't forget that the men he was partnered with on the Cessna can identify him. We can arrest him on their ID and compel a DNA sample."

The assumed Larry Duncan had indeed heard of the discovery of both bodies, but in spite of the other pilots' presence, nobody resembling him attended the first funeral. Perhaps Duncan wasn't going to be that predictable. For the time being, he had shacked up with a widow from Nikolai, and was letting things cool off in Anchorage. When they needed supplies, they simply purchased whatever was available in the village.

Then again, the weather for flying the small Super Cub had not been the best. He knew the two women were dead. He had made certain of it. The most recent victim couldn't identify him since she had not gotten a good look at his face. She would have recalled the beard, which no longer adorned his face. The fact that they now had his plane, with its DNA evidence unnerved Duncan. As long as he stayed in the bush, the ASP would most likely never find him.

Darla and Tim were married on February 14, and from that point on, Darla became Marie Sealy. The search for Duncan would be ongoing, but they were watching the airports, and the highways. Meanwhile the body of a teenage girl was found on the 19th, and focus shifted to that case. It was unconnected, and that was apparent from the start. This one was found in a movie theater, strangled and raped during a horror film, and left on the floor between the seats. The Anchorage PD was handling that case.

The strangulation pointed to a different killer. Still Darla, now Marie Sealy had her hair color lightened and cut differently. A car was found parked in the same spot for several days at the Willow Airport the following day, and was traced to the previous owner, who insisted that he sold it to a man named Duncan. Fearing foul play the ASP dusted for fingerprints and found the same prints that belonged to the serial rapist and killer.

It was now apparent that Duncan had escaped by air with another plane. It would take several days with the new snow, to get an accurate description of the Super Cub. Given the plane's relatively short range before refueling, the troopers could calculate a radius around Willow, where he had to stop.

Late February brought an influx of small aircraft to the Nikolai Airport and Duncan began to get nervous. They were the vanguard of the "Iditarod Air Force", a virtual armada of small planes bringing in gear and supplies for the mushers on the Iditarod Dog Sled Race just days away. Duncan knew just how big an event the Iditarod was, and how many people would be there during the race. Suddenly, Nikolai wasn't where he could hide for very long, and he refueled the plane and set off for another place to hide out for a few weeks.

He spotted an abandoned cabin east of the Parks highway and landed on a frozen riverbed next to it. The cabin looked as though nobody had been there in years, and had many cracks where the snow blew through the walls. Those he could patch with snow until spring, and then use mud. In a few weeks he could head into a village for more supplies, but with the ASP on his heels, he had best stay out of sight.

Perhaps once the Iditarod began, he could sneak back into Canada, but he was also wanted there under his real name. He had filed a flight plan from Nikolai to Fairbanks, but never made the trip, using it only as a diversion, in case the authorities traced him there. The assumption would be that the plane had crashed in the mountains south of Denali Park. In fact, come spring, he would burn the plane and take the Grumman aluminum canoe down the river to a populated area.

He hadn't counted on the chain of events that brought things together to have the ASP close in on him so quickly. Yet, he and only he knew where he was at the moment. He trampled and shoveled a path to taxi the plane away from the riverbed and into the trees where it wouldn't be spotted from the air. There was a moose near the cabin and Duncan killed it just before dark with a rifle from the plane. Now he would have meat for several weeks anyway if the wolves didn't find it overnight before he could butcher it.

Of course hiding out, Duncan was nowhere near the funerals for the two victims. In reality, Yvonne Morgan was sent back to her home in Portland, Oregon, and they were both staged at considerable cost to the ASP with no results. Visits by the ASP to the sites along the Iditarod Trail did net a man wanted in a bank robbery in Nome the previous October.

A storekeeper in Nikolai recognized him from a photo that officers from McGrath showed him as "Larry" who stocked up several days before and was flying to Fairbanks, he was told. The flight plan when looked into was filed under the name of Larry Young with fictitious information, and never reached its destination. It was not unusual for a small plane like the Super Cub to go down in bad weather during the Alaskan winter, and a two-day search revealed only a plane missing since 1997. This derailed the search for the criminal as it turned into a salvage operation.

Back in Anchorage, Darla, now Marie Sealy and Tim began their life as a couple. She would have to get used to being a non-working housewife, but that suited her quite well. Tim was working on a child abduction case that happened in Chugach State Park on March 2. Every so often Roxie would invite Marie out to lunch at the Old Sourdough Mining Company restaurant where she was now a hostess. Dressed in her "sourdough" attire, she fit the part of an old miner too well not to be hired for the job. Darrell was working at Airport Maintenance and taking classes for his GED.

Often the two women discussed the "man eater" as Roxie called Hillary, his new girlfriend. Hillary Jameson was just not the sort of woman a mother wants her son to be falling for. As the women watched the Iditarod update on the news, Roxie asked Marie to have Tim check her out. Darrell was no prize, even cleaned up with new clothes he was still a loser, and Hillary was an attractive woman that would have little trouble snaring almost any man she wanted.

"Darla, I mean Marie," Roxie began, "what if she is trying to recruit him for some sort of criminal activity?"

"I think you're just being the typical over protective mother Roxie," Marie opined.

"No, Marie," Roxie argued, "You should see her. She lets him feel her up right in front of me. It is almost as if she were daring me to say something. Darrell won't listen to me because she has him 'whipped.' Last night she told me I was just jealous because he didn't want me anymore now that he knew what a real woman was like."

"That was mean," replied Marie. "Give me what you know about her, and I'll ask Tim to run a background check on her if he can."

The manager walked by their table, looked at his watch then at Roxie. Roxie said, "Lunch break must be up. I'll call you tonight."

"Okay, Tim will be there and I'll tell him what you said," Marie replied. "Thanks for the recommendation on lunch. It was great."

Love in the Last Frontier Part 1

I am a free lance photographer and an artist who has managed to combine my two talents into a one of a kind, new media that represents the artist in me in the form of photographic imaging. I do landscapes mostly, although I have been known to stray into other subjects on occasion, but my landscape work is what brought these people to the table to discuss the possibility of this very large set of works that they want commissioned and now this damn phone will not shut up with its constant...

More than Cowboys at Cheyenne Frontier Days

It was my first time going to Cheyenne Frontier Days. I wanted to write this as soon as I got home because it was and still so vivid in my mind. We were walking along some vendor booths and enjoying all of the nice people and the weather when all of a sudden an older man riding a road bike pulls up close to the walkway and stopped and got off his bike and started walking through the crowd. Now it might not seem like any big deal so far but I was standing wait for my wife to buy something at the...

The Final Frontier

The Final Frontier By Mary Beth Sanford Synopsis: (Expanded Version of: To Boldly Go): The most dangerous jobs in space could only be done by men, brave men. Some would say the bravest of men. No one knowing what these men have gone through would deny them that praise. Most would shudder thinking about their sacrifice because for those men to do what they do they must first give up being men. Story notes: Hi... The Final Frontier

THE FINAL FRONTIER Seeing What I Could See #9. Fantasy based on a shred of fact! My relationship with my “Auntie A” was now been going on for nearly 9 years. It started as fairly innocent curiosity on my part as a p*****n about mature, full figured women of which “A” was a prime example. I had carried a fondness for her since c***dhood because she had no c***dren and always treated me as her own and she dressed and acted so much more “free-spirited” than Mom and my other aunt. The Final Frontier

The Final Frontier Part 1 I sat on the worn, wooden, park bench staring up into the sky. A gentle breeze brought scents from fresh-cut grass and roses from the field and garden nearby. "It's you, isn't it? You're Sam Shepherd." Shaken from my thoughts, I nodded the affirmative at the little boy whose mother stood protectively nearby. "You're flying up there tomorrow?" The boy pointed towards the sun. "Yes. Maybe one day you'll be an astronaut as well?" "Not me. I'm going...

Port ASS The New Frontier

"Attention. All qualified personnel for cryostasis chamber management, proceed to Loading Bay 7 for shipment." It was Year 4XXX, and Jay was a bored technician waiting on the clearance working on Port ASS. As funny as it had been to him, the way it was named, the joke got stale after the past three months he had been here. This was a research facility, and that meant automated processes, low lethality rates, and tons of technology just being developed by the most sophisticated and smart, but...

Darla Reynolds had finished her shift at 2:00 a.m. as usual, and made her way to her 2002 Subaru Forester parked in the employee lot at the Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport, where she worked assisting with the Baggage Claim. Typically frigid in the month of February, a storm blew in just before midnight. At her car, her attempt to open her door was hampered by someone pouring water into her door, and freezing the locking mechanism. When the remote door lock wouldn't work, Darla...

As morning came Darla awoke to a relatively toasty 52 degrees inside the cabin. Checking the fire, she added a new log to the smoldering coals and more newspaper to get it burning. Through the easterly facing window, she could see that it would be daylight soon, meaning that it was probably around 8:00. The days were getting longer, and that increased the possibility of someone coming to rescue her. She had a headache from the previous day's exposure to the ether, but how long had that kept...

(McGrath, Alaska Sunday evening, March 28) Mike and Mary bundled up to go outside when the plane arrived. Mary dressed Karen in a sweat suit and some heavy socks and wrapped her in two blankets. A small jet was not that much of a rarity anymore. More and more people had them. This one was rather unusual, and they correctly concluded it must be new. I am commanded by Didius Claudius Meritus, Governor of Phrygia to offer the following report into the causes of the late unpleasantness in the city of Atarbraxis, since renamed Pentium. I know you will be all familiar with the facts regarding the results of the rioting - the Forum ruined, approximately half of the city's dwellings either destroyed or severely damaged by the ensuing fires, etc. etc. The...

A Better World IIChapter 28 Space The Final Frontier

Life on the Station We had to float ourselves out to the boarding dock into Yuri Gagarin City. Thank God for Velcro booties and wrist pads. When we got to the hub, we had to negotiate the rotating hub air lock. We would get to do that a lot. In the hub there were six elevator-like doors. They opened into compartments that went from the hub to the wheel. These were to transition from zero G's at the hub to 0.8 G's at the rim of the wheel. There were also access tubes that had ladders. I was...

Gaia Mother Earth Book 3 of A Thousand Years of PeaceChapter 9 Space our last frontier

Once the speed neared light the lid to the little black box was lifted. The ship rose and felt like it was going over the Milky Way instead of through it. Stars were flashing by reminding John and Jenny of being back on earth watching falling stars from the sky on a clear night. Willy had brought his box of Legos. The kids had them over in the corner and were having a ball. They would put something together then look at the screen for a minute. Ben and Chuck went over to Iceman (Bill...

Frontiers Flint MurdockChapter 2 Dumpling

I’d learned from Ying Lee that being the purchasing agent for Camp Métis was a pretty lucrative post. The fort was on the Missouri River, not that far from the mouth of the Judith. Near where Camp Cooke had been before they abandoned it to the rats back in 1870. The Army needed beef and the purchasing agent supplied it. And, he determined the price he would pay the ranchers. Another whore, my pal Masie, told me, “They got over 400 soldiers stationed there. To protect the steamboat traffic,...

Frontiers Flint MurdockChapter 8 Amen

The Territory came through with the prison construction money — $85. It wouldn’t be much of a town jail, two cells big enough to hold four or five miscreants each if Little River had a sudden crime wave. But it made the growing town proud, our new jail. The builder had to knock out part of the back wall of our office and build a 10 by 15 addition. I ended up sort of job foreman and passed on Hank Mosby’s ‘sale’ lumber. It wasn’t part of the Territory contract, but Cayuse and I ended up...

On Becoming Miss Louisa Harper of New York and Newport 1

From 'The Autobiography of Miss Louisa Harper' ~ "The summer of 1890 was to be the start of my new life. At fifteen years of age, I was to be presented to society and I had expected that I would then be considered an adult. That, at long last, I would have a say in my own life, my own destiny. That was not to be, though. I was still just a doll to be dressed and used as decoration in the home of my powerful parents. I was made up and dressed and used to impress the visitors who came...

Controlling SisterChapter 4 JP and Lavernersquos son Newtrsquos story

It was the year 2001. 15-year-old Newt looked at himself in the mirror. He could see some of his mother Laverne’s African American features looking back, but also blue eyes and a lighter skin tone that must have come from his unknown father. He growled, angry. Why didn’t his mom ever tell him who his father was? Her insistence that she didn’t know didn’t make any sense! She said that Newt didn’t look like who she thought his father was, and she hadn’t been with any blue-eyed white boys. His...

On Becoming Miss Louisa Harper of New York and Newport 3

From 'The Autobiography of Miss Louisa Harper' ~ "Langdon Beech-Thorndyke III was 'a catch.' Mother and Father thought that he would be a perfect match for me. He was twenty three and I was fifteen. My parents hoped that we would become betrothed that summer and then a grandiose wedding would follow in three years after I turned eighteen. This was my sister's summer, though. Miranda would be married in August to a Vanderbilt cousin who she barely knew. The opulent affair...

Initial sexual explorations the first frontiers

After our first encounter and the measures we put in place to safeguard our privacy, G. and I were both excited with our situation. G. as a 17yr old boy had gone to heaven! There, a young girl, sexy (I hope he found me sexy at that age!!) very much willing to do sexual exploration with him. At an age and in an era, where most 17yr olds were ,let alone ,virgins, but with no sexual experience apart from their right hand and fingers, G. had struck gold. And me, I was curious…I was fascinated with...

Something in the WaterChapter 6 Pushing Back The Frontiers

What a weekend! Davie managed to persuade Claudia to get out of bed, and the statuesque black girl, 6 feet tall in her bare feet, made Louise and Jessica gasp as she clambered out of Davie's car and immediately clutched her boyfriend's arm. Her spare hand reached down and cupped his balls. One way and another, Davie wasn't going anywhere. Claudia must have had a sex-free drive down here. Not only was she as randy as a bitch in heat - you could practically smell it when she came into the...

Frontiers Flint MurdockChapter 3 Dirt Floor

The first time I borrowed the hotel’s one-horse buckboard from the Bighorn so Rebecca could ride down to see her family, I followed her on Scarface. Stayed just out of sight, but she wasn’t checking her flank. I got my spyglass out and could see Chet and Rosie standing in front of the house. If he tried anything, I’d fire both barrels of my scattergun up into the air. The sound would carry easy, even this far away. But he just stood off to the side as she hugged her daughter, held her as...

Frontiers Flint MurdockChapter 4 Polly Wolly Doodle

What Rebecca had spotted in that magazine from back East was an illustrated article about quilting. She and her mother and sisters had done some before she ran off with Chet. And now she was determined to get back into it in a serious way. These days Rebecca was working in the Bighorn Restaurant, waitressing for both lunch and dinner. Dinner was the big draw. She was a volunteer, wouldn’t take a dime from Mrs. Chambers. Would the money have helped her husband with his debts to Ollie...

Frontiers Flint MurdockChapter 5 Dutch Oven

I didn’t wait to see if Marshal Autry would wire me back. I found myself missing Rebecca. And I had my whorehouse duties. I stopped at the Robinson homestead. Yeah, Cayuse Valdez had told them what we found. Yeah, the ranchers would keep watch, keep their guns handy. But they had to work, always more to do. Rosie nodded at me as I mounted Scarface. A first. I gave her a little salute and wheeled Scarface around. A week since I’d ridden south with Cayuse. The three Chippewas were in the...

Frontiers Flint MurdockChapter 6 Nature

The Bighorn sporting ladies turned into mother hens, flocking around Rosie. She was surrounded by gentle attention, by affection. Which, I figured, was mostly to the good side of the ledger. Rosie was clingy with her mother. Rebecca had been overwhelmed with emotion. Joy, relief, guilt ... mostly joy, I think. The two of them, mother and daughter, were inseparable. But Rosie still hadn’t said a word. Of course no one asked her about what she’d been through. Not with the Chippewas, not with...

Frontiers Flint MurdockChapter 7 Desecration

My room on the third floor — our room, I guess — had a rocking chair, a handsome walnut job that Rebecca had comforted up with a thick pillow filled with goose down and a red cover she stitched together herself. I liked to sit on it of an evening and sip a sip or two of Jameson. Rebecca had taken to undressing and then straddling me when she was in a certain mood. We put that chair through some pretty fast paces. Sometimes, when we’d finished, she’d squeeze me, keeping me corralled until all...

Frontiers Flint MurdockChapter 9 Western Union

Cayuse and I, feet up on opposite sides of the sheriff’s desk, were sipping after-breakfast coffee that Rosie had brought us from the Bighorn. He said, “Take a ride, jefe?” Talkative this morning. “Sure. Where?” “Sodbusters.” It was outside our jurisdiction, some miles south of town. But things from the outside often slopped over city boundaries. And if Cayuse suggested it... We got our mounts from Livery Lou and wheeled them left, past the Holy Redemption, past Matty’s Bar, past the...

Frontiers Flint MurdockChapter 10 Bushwhacked

We decided to picnic down by that little creek. Rebecca spread out a blanket and Rosie unpacked our lunch. Simple, just ham and biscuits and some corn whiskey to sip on. No need for a cooking fire. Rosie looked at her mother and Rebecca laughed out loud. Rosie grinned. Rebecca jumped up, “Mr. Murdock, that creek water looks mighty inviting. Care to join us?” Rosie stood too and, bold as brass, the two of them started unbuttoning their dresses. Not a care in the world. I stood up, looked...

Frontiers Flint MurdockChapter 11 Whore of Babylon

I would never win any speed contests sending telegrams. My fingers are big and they felt clumsy tapping on the key. But I’d had enough experience to send a message on my own. And to decode incoming ones. It was a small talent, but learning how to do something new never had hurt me. Hunting and fishing were new once. Skinning. Roping. Shooting. Of course everything at Mrs. Adler’s had been new at one point. Credit due, Ollie Chambers may be portly and soft and over-careful around his...

Frontiers Flint MurdockChapter 12 Poke

Cayuse carried a Smith & Wesson Model 3 revolver, .44 caliber. When he made his rounds in Little River, he usually left his Winchester rifle locked in the office. But he always carried that wicked-looking Bowie in his belt scabbard. Always. Just like I took my eight-gauge with me when I walked the town. More habit than necessity. The first time the Bighorn bartender, Cheney, saw it, he asked if I hunted locomotives. My first day in town. Well, we didn’t have any locomotives here, but my...

Frontiers Flint MurdockChapter 13 Queen Victoria

Rebecca and I waited to order breakfast until Rosie and Cayuse came down to join us. Rosie was a little flushed, Cayuse looked the same. The Bighorn had eggs that morning, went good with salt pork and biscuits and honey. Rosie and Cayuse didn’t mention the previous night so neither did Rebecca and me. I figured Rosie and her mother would talk things over when they were alone. Although, thinking on it, Rosie was just as likely to talk with me. She’d gotten in the confiding habit back when...

Frontiers Flint MurdockChapter 14 Organ

Evening didn’t take long to reach Little River, but the town never got all that quiet. Saloon laughter and arguments, a lone coyote off howling about something important to him, the wind whipping through. Sometimes I felt the night was talking to me, trying to tell me something. Word had come from Cleveland, via Kansas City, to pull in their murder suspect. Hold Venerable until further instructions arrived. It was a law enforcement request, not an order, but I was more than ready to...

Frontiers Flint MurdockChapter 15 Eagles

The three of us were in our usual position in bed — Rosie on my left, Rebecca on my right. Our body heat under the comforter felt good. Both of them had a hand under the sheet, gripping me. Rebecca had a smile in her voice, “Mr. Murdock?” “Mrs. Robinson.” “That is some show that Penny and Miss Melanie put on.” Rosie whispered, “Mrs. Chambers let us watch.” Rebecca, “Encouraged us to watch.” Rosie, “Some show.” “Oh?” Rebecca, “I was thinking, we were thinking...” “Yeah?” Not hard to...

Six Times A DayPart 77 Games without Frontiers

The strip poker game got rolling, and it played out much as it had the week before. The card rounds flew by as fast as possible, since everyone was eager to get naked and there was a time limit to be aware of as well. Alan insisted they put some music on. He pointed out that it would make things even more festive. Amy immediately bounced out of her chair. "B-52's!" That was her favorite band, and she played the B-52's albums so much that the others were a little sick of them. But...

Chris BeakerChapter 13 Games without Frontiers

He was back in Afghanistan, crouching behind the wreckage of his jeep hearing the moans of the others lying around while bullets were 'pinging' around them, it was only a matter of time before they were picked off by the snipers, his shoulder was also bleeding but he hadn't noticed it at the moment. He thought of something that he had seen in his dreams, it was in a book that told a spell to create what was supposed to be a shield, but it would only protect one person. He needed one that...
