Morning at my zoo, I mean my home, is really a slow build to a crescendo. I woke with six lovelies in my bed, with various bodies draped over each other. Trying to slip out of bed undetected is impossible, as Judy, who had been on one side of me, smiled and pulled me close to her. She said, "Good morning, father to my child. Judy was making moves, creating the thought we might be doing some beast with two backs exercises before getting up. A smiling, dark, body climbed over Judy and laid on top of me. Nancy kissed me, and each of the girls, before saying. "No one is happier than I am. That you accept me so willingly, and see me for me, makes me the happiest of us three almost moms. I hope all our babies are boys and they all look like you."
Funny, at that second, my mind knew what the sexes of the babies were going to be. I think the expression on my face startled the girls, and Frieda asked, "What's the matter, Chuck, did that scare you?"
"Don't laugh, but I think I just had a premonition that you three are all carrying beautiful daughters, even the twins are both girls. I hope that doesn't disappoint you girls. I've never thought of it before, but that's perfect for you all. You five will be able to make over the little girls like little dolls. I'm sure some boys will be along one of these days, but we're having baby girls this first time. Brandy and Tiani were now sitting cross-legged behind Judy. Brandy said, "Maybe Tiani or I will have a boy. This first time around for all of us may be better to have little girls."
Tiani wistfully said, "I dream of having a big handsome man that has both of our features. He would be almost too pretty, but would be all man, considering his daddy."
Frieda reached over and tweaked Lisa's nipple. "And you, my luscious little friend, will you want to bear our man a little boy or little girl?"
Lisa sat up and said, "I'm going to have a baby that comes out of the chute singing and playing music. I think I'm a ways from committing to being a mom yet. I think it's sweet that you've invited me to be a part of the Sweet Six, or with Tina, is that the Sexy Seven, but both Tina and I are a ways off from wanting babies."
I said, "Thank goodness. This house, or the house you girls have, isn't near big enough to handle all of us, plus a couple of kids from each of you. Consider what you're proposing. Two each would be fourteen kids. Perhaps just a big bunk room like a barracks would be the best approach?"
As I began trying to get from beneath the girls I said, "Come on girls, time for the gym. Let's get some exercise and some swimming. I need my muscles stretched, let's go."
There were lots of groans, but also some sweet kisses, as we all got up, scattering to various bathrooms to take care of the immediate needs. As I was stretching before using the treadmill, Wanda and Jan showed up to workout too. This room is going to have to be larger to accommodate more treadmills. Two aren't enough. Wanda said, "I want to use a bike this morning. I don't think my breasts can handle the bouncing from the treadmill."
Jan joked, "My tits hardly bounce, but then, B's don't bounce much anyway. Soon four bikes and two treadmills were busy while Lisa was using the multi-position weight machine.
Tina came in and stretched, saying, "I think I'd like some exercise too, but what I want requires Chuck to come back to bed with me."
Frieda said, "Good luck. Six of us couldn't get him going this morning. He's turning into a eunuch or something. Maybe he's turning gay on us."
That elicited lots of laughter at my expense.
I suggested, "How about an early evening, some soft lights, lots of gentle kissing, and some extended foreplay, followed by some very satisfying lovemaking."
Wanda laughed, "What time should I show up?"
"You've got your own man now, Wanda, go away," Tiani said protectively.
Nancy said, "Oh, that sounds so good. Can we plan on that?"
Brandy said, "Tonight, after supper out at Sue's, we'll come home early and make that a reality."
Tina commented, "You guys are crazy to think he's going to take care of all of us. Guys can only get that thing up a couple of times a night you know."
Brandy rebuked, "Not our Chuck. He has satisfied all of us many times, and then satisfied Lisa the same night. He'll get us done. You be there with us, keeping him pleasantly excited, and he'll do you too. Chuck just loves lots of gentle attention. Then again, when he wears out, us girls know what we each like too."
After getting good and sweaty, we all dropped our clothes before passing through the outdoor shower and splashing into the pool. Some swam slowly, some just a steady stroke, and some of us swam all out for the maximum cardio workout.
As we sat on the steps, I commented, "I didn't know the pool was heated. Who turned it on?"
Tiani said, "I was looking at the controls in the garage and found the directions to re-direct the pool water through the coils up on the roof. Apparently, half of the coils are for the house hot water and the other half are for the pool and hot tub. I set the pool for eighty degrees and cut the hot tub down to ninety-nine as the three pregnant girls shouldn't use too much of the hot tub. The air bubbles will probably feel good, so they should be fine if the water temperature isn't too hot."
"It's nice to know we'll be able to swim all winter, even when the outdoor temperature gets cold." I said this noticing that being out of the water was chilling me. The weather was changing. All of us went inside for our showers and to get ready for the day.
At breakfast Wanda said, "We need to go to Miami this morning. The station Chief is retiring and you will be logging in the new man. You've met him before when you were involved in the border problem in Texas. He was one of the team leaders. I brought the files and paperwork home so we could leave straight from here. We can drive in five hours and stay overnight, or fly and come home this afternoon. Which way will we go?"
"Silly girl, we just had a conversation about how I wanted to spend the evening, and you want me to stay overnight in Miami?"
Wanda said, "You could always pick up something in South Beach or you and I could play at a hotel tonight."
Brandy came over and put her hands around Wanda's neck, "I could strangle you for even suggesting he get mixed up with some skanky babe from Miami. None of us would even pick up something down there. Why would we want our man to have anything to do with them? You would be fine, but not any of those women down there."
Frieda said, "Speak for yourself, Brandi, there are some good looking pieces of fluff that swing our way down there."
"Well, I only swing that way three quarters of the time and all Chuck's way the rest of the time."
Tina was sitting at the table with us and agreed with Brandy, "The last time we were down there, the only thing I liked about it was the nightclubs and that the guys left you alone. I think ninety percent of them down there are gay. I was hassled more down in Key West than in Miami."
I looked at Wanda with a smile, "Just so you won't get strangled, I'll fly. I'd bet there's an airplane that I can use to fly down there."
Lisa pulled the cordless phone down and called out to the charter office. She got the night person and asked for the schedule. She said she wanted either a Learjet or a 200B. She talked a little, then said, "Okay, we'll take that. I need to check him out in that anyway. Have it ready for Chuck, he'll be there in about a half hour."
Lisa got up and said, "I'll put on my uniform and go with you. I'll check you out in the Citation. It's not as fast as the Lear, but you'll like it. It's quiet, and easy to fly. Get ready, I'll be right back."
I looked around and asked, "Anyone else have any ideas about what you want me to do?"
Dennis was there and said, "Don't look at me! You and I are always in two different directions. See you tonight, Chuck. I heard little Bonita say something about you playing something with her tonight? What are you going to play?"
"First I've heard of it, Dennis. I supposed I'll find out this evening. It's a good thing I'll be back then. So you girls have already planned on going out there this evening too?"
Tiani sat on my lap, gave me a kiss, then with her pixie look, said, "Silly boy, you know we'll be there. Sue and Mercy are really funny lately, wanting us out there all the time. You would think the babies we're going to have were theirs. Be careful, father of our babies, and we'll see you tonight." I received more kisses from everyone, and with Wanda and Lisa, headed for the airpark.
The Cessna Citation was a nice little business jet. This model didn't have a lot of seating, but would satisfy most people for speed and comfort. We were up and down quickly, and were met by a deputy to take us to the office. When it was time for the retirement ceremony, my brief talk spoke tons for his people, "Clarence has been a great Station Chief. This office has run smoothly and quietly for years. Clarence has handled his office, his men, and the Service's challenges for eight years. John told me recently that this was by far the most successful, unrecognized station within the Marshal Service. Thank you, Clarence, and as appreciation for your contribution, this plaque from our Marshal says it all."
As I handed the plaque to Clarence, I tilted it up a little and said, "Catch, catch that Rolex and slide it on your wrist. This will help you remember when your tee time is. Good luck, Clarence."
Clarence put the watch on and smiled at everyone. He said, "I suppose it will be all right to wear a watch now that I'm retiring. You see, you guys, there was a reason for me to never wear a watch. I always brought one of you with me, no matter where we went. You had the watch and you had my schedule, so you were the ones to keep me on track. It was a way for me to work with each and every one of you on a continuing basis. I'll miss the companionship we had, and I'll miss each of your smiling faces. Good luck to you, and good luck to my replacement, Sam Sterling. Now, let's get Sterling checked in and me checked out, then let's party."
It didn't take long to handle all of the paperwork. With Wanda working with the main clerk and the Assistant Station Chief, Carl Turner, we were done by noon. The men assigned out of the station had left after the talk by Clarence and the introduction of the new Chief. Several of the semi-retired guys hung around and were waiting to carry Clarence off to an afternoon and evening of debauchery to celebrate his retirement.
After lunch, the Assistant Station Chief and I spent a couple of hours with Sam Sterling, the new Chief. I told Sam, "Start grooming a new assistant, Carl is being considered for another station as we speak. If he takes the job that could be offered, you will only have less than three months to get ready. Let Carl help you and keep this office running as smooth as it has."
Sam said, "That's not very nice. You transfer me from a quiet station to this monster, then steal my Assistant? That's mean. Okay, Carl, we have work to do. Let's get these carpetbaggers out of here and get to it."
I left, telling him to always remember to call me when he ran into something too big for his office. I was close, and more help was within a couple of hours.
Wanda and I were back in Tampa by four. It was too late to try to get much done in the office, so I left Wanda in John's office to call in to our office, and took Lisa with me to the patio. It was fairly empty, with only a few of the older folks and a lot of kids that were finished with school for the day there. The kids were mostly at tables studying, but I could hear the sound of a keyboard coming from the house.
There was a sense of anticipation in the air as the big tent was set up in the rear of the open area between the patio and Martin's and Glenda's place.
As I drew a cup of coffee from the always ready big pot at the bar, Kathy came up to me and said, "You had better go see Bonita. She said you were going to play with her this evening. She said you were going to entertain us. Do you know about this?"
"Nope, but that's fairly usual for me. Most of the kids don't let me in on stuff that often. I show up and they tell me what's up."
I paused a second, "So what's the big tent set up for? Is there going to be something special happening?"
Kathy said, "S&S racecar support is sponsoring a bunch of NASCAR teams to visit here Friday and Saturday. They're all coming out here tomorrow night for a big party. You know what? Why don't you and Lisa play for us tomorrow night? That would be a great addition to the entertainment."
"How about let's just not mention that for a bit. I'll see what this thing with Bonita is about first, and then you have to beg Lisa on your own."
Lisa grinned, "As if anyone ever has to beg me to play with you."
Lisa took me by the arm and said, "Let's see what's up and maybe we need to practice with her."
Bonita had a neatly written list of misspelled titles. To remind Lisa and I that she was still a little girl, the list was on construction paper and was written with crayon.
"Bonita," I asked, while looking at the list, "do you know all of these?"
"I can do all the chords and pick the melody for most of them. I've learned all the lyrics and have practiced everything on the piano, so I can play either one. I think if I just play backup for you and Lisa, and all three of us sing most of them, it will be best."
I looked at Lisa and she cocked an eyebrow while looking at the list. Lisa said, "Let's run down the list real quick and see how Bonita wants to do these. Let me get a couple of guitars out."
Bonita said, "Wait, I'll get what I want you to play."
The little six year old ran from the room and came back lugging two guitar cases. She handed one to Lisa and watched as Lisa opened it. There was a used, but very nice, Gibson electric. I opened the case Bonita gave me and found an ancient Fender Stratocaster bass.
Lisa was curious, "Where did these come from, Bonita?"
"Daddy bought them for me at the pawn shop. I said we needed electric guitars out here for you two to play. Come get the amplifiers, they're too heavy for me."
Lisa and I carried two amps back into the big living room. We spent a few minutes tuning them and messing with settings. We didn't have any special effects, but we really didn't need any.
Bonita said, "Let's do "Night Train" first. I like the piano introduction on that one. Ready?"
Amazingly, Bonita really had practiced the piece very well. We did the whole thing as an instrumental and gave Lisa some breaks to do some expressions, but realistically, we did the piece very straightforward.
After doing six of the instrumental tunes, Bonita wanted to sing some ballads. She sang 'Georgia' then wanted to do 'Sarah, ' a Stevie Nicks song.
Now I was curious, "Where did you get the music to all of these, Bonita?"
"When I hear something one of the moms is listening to, I write it down and they help me find the music and lyrics. It's a lot of fun. I can't play all of them, but I can at least pick out the melody for most of them. When I get real good with the keyboard, I'll be able to play everything, like that funny John guy that writes a lot of music."
Lisa said, "Elton John?"
"Yeah, that's him. Momma Hannah has a bunch of DVD videos of him. He's really good."
In a hushed voice so only I could hear, Lisa said, "I think this little one is really good too."
We ended up doing Elton John's 'Crocodile Rock, ' 'Benny and the Jets, ' and 'Honky Cat.' Lisa and I had to struggle to stay up with Bonita as she had all of these down. I asked Bonita, "Is your piano and guitar teacher doing better now?"
"Oh yes, we play popular stuff every lesson. We're playing some classical too, but she says we're supposed to have fun. The guitar teacher comes to some of my piano lessons now and both teachers play with me. I think Mr. Kelly likes Miss Denise a lot. He always waits around until she's done with my lesson, then they go somewhere together."
Mercy had come in and said, "The two teachers are having a great time with Bonita. Besides teaching our prodigy, I think we've fostered a musical romance."
