Tom went with them. Upon getting there Ron lite the cave to find two chests, one steamer, and a small box also more caves going off in many directions. The chests were lifted up but the steamer had to be roped due to the size and weight. We covered the packages and carried them to the Fury.
Tom asked Arron to put up the drone to make sure we were not being watched. I was told it was up and all was okay. You got to love these guys. The chests were similar, coins, jewelry, (not stones) and bars. The steamer was mostly jewelry but some bars on the bottom. The box was the curve the GPS was in the cave but it said it had 14 packages. Almost more than we have taken in. This may be a problem. Tom called the bars broker and he hadn’t finished the count yet but told him there was no problem. But could he fly into the Caymans day after tomorrow? He told me sure but asked if I needed anything else and I said no and thanked him. A chime went off and Arron and 2 men started to move real fast toward the radar screen. A drone was coming our way. The 2 loaded a skiff and was gone. About 5 minutes later there was an explosion and the drone was gone. Someone was not going to be happy! I thanked Arron and told him to pass it on. A phone call came in from a general about blowing up his drone. I said he was right and asked why he did a flyover without permission which he said that he didn’t need permission over an unexplored island, I told him we owned the island which the Captain knew from the Cutter as he was here today doing inspections and customs for our boats. The General said we had no right to down the drone, and I asked him if I was in Washington D.C. would they shoot it down. There was no need for this and they caused the problem. I told him if he pushed this that I would make his life hell and hung up.
The following day and apologies were given and everyone was satisfied. Told Arron that we would have to keep an eye open. We left the chests alone in the caves, for now, called for a seaplane for tomorrow to take us to the Caymans to deposit funds and safely deposit in many banks and then see the broker about how much more he could take. I told Arron that I wanted his second here and him with us in case of a problem. Since we owned the island we were to protect it by making him minister of defense and arm all the men make IDs and let no one question him. In the morning it took three trips for the seaplane to move all of us. Arron’s men kept an eye out. The banks were hit and deposits made, the safety deposit boxes were gotten in most of the banks and filled by Tom and Marty’s elves. Ron and Andrea took the seaplane to Caracas to look at a 60ft houseboat (used) for the Island. Tom, Marty, Linda, Jill, Mary, and Steven waited for the broker to arrive and have lunch. The man showed 45 minutes later and gave some papers to Linda about deposits. Tom asked him about the amount he could cover and got an odd look. It depends on the amount and what was needed to buy it. Dollars, euro’s bonds, etc. Tom told him that we could barter if necessary, a smile came on the broker’s face. Asked if there more coin and gem people and was told yes (no problem).
A call came in Jill handed it to Tom and he went nuts. Tom hung up the phone and called DOD and said he had to talk to the director, said it was Tom Hoffman and he would take the call. Two minutes later the phone was answered and the broker wanted to leave but was told to stay. DOD was asked to notify Potus that his island was attacked by Navy Seals and that they were being detained by his people and would be tried and executed as soon as he returned. He expects a call and hung up. The broker’s mouth was open but then a laugh. “Do you own that Island? Yes? Before the laws? Yes? OMG, you have them.”
Tom nodded yes to each question and said, “Yes! I wanted you to know you were safe and it wasn’t about business.”
Arron called and asked if I was ready they were on the line. The Director of Defense wanted to know who I thought I was and I couldn’t do this. Steve sent an instant gram to the head Navy Seal in charge asking if this wasn’t spying and was told to do his job. “That is enough in any Tribunal to get him executed. Maybe the President wasn’t involved but you were and will be held accountable. The news gram is in 26 different languages with key phrases to all the countries involved. It will destroy the U.S. Foreign Policy around the world. So explain to me who I am and why I can’t do this. Mister president you have a problem with your staff not backing your Administration and I’m sorry I’m too busy to help. You have until the morning and god help the man who thinks of coming after us you’ll see what we are capable of. Good Day.” And the screen went blank.
Everyone just looked at me and I asked for a coke. Marty started laughing and said, “That’s it boy tell Potus to kiss your butt.”
Arron left for a moment and came back in and said, “Two were fired, 2 arrested, so far, and the boss is headhunting. He knew nothing about this. He will find out who is behind this.”
I told Arron if he could help out, not fair to the man and he left. I started to talk to everyone and the broker was in awe.
I told him that this will not bother business unless he wanted it that way. He said it was nice to have friends in high places with a lot of pull. My turn to smile. Linda came over and gave me a big kiss and hug and only said “WOW” that was enough said and Jill followed I told Steve I would hurt him if he kissed me.
Linda said Ron found a boat to park on the Island for staying there. He was repairing the motor and would be underway in an hour. All is quiet at the Island and all U.S. boats left. We will have no trouble with the Navy people. They were told you stood up for them and had both bosses arrested by Potus. Knowing half your people are brothers they know they’re safe. The seaplane was back and started to move people. Ron was told to go to the Island and pick up what he needed.
Linda was given numbers from the broker. She told Jill that they could not possibly be right. Linda looked at Tom and mouthed over a hundred million Tom just shook his head and whispered to Marty. He got doe eyes and said “WOW”. Carl then called and asked to look for another Fury they just picked up 23 more accounts. Maybe the builder in Ft. Lauderdale Fla. knew of some. Tom told Carl they would start tomorrow. There was a pause and Carl asked if everything was okay, Tom gave Marty the phone and left. Marty told him part of what went on and was waiting to find out if we were at war with the U.S.A.
