Finally, the person retreated, and the seekers started to come in.

The person began to remove their now useless armor. As the helmet came off, I got to see that their eyes were glowing red. The more they took off, the more I saw that their body had pulsing colors over their scarred and burned skin. Once free of the armor, I found they were sexless, with no gender.

The being took a minute to process what they just found when I took down my shield, and then I could feel the fear coming off of it.

The being began backing away in fear now, and I casually kept walking toward it.
Finally, it stopped and let me approach and said, “The existence of everything rests with one so young and chooses not to kill. My time in your plane of existence is indeed at an end. Humans have always chosen to exterminate those from my world when discovered. Your kindness in not exterminating me has freed me from being bound to this plane any longer. It is my prison no more.”
The entity explained how to visualize a place it described.
When I could see it, I only needed to find a portal to that world to link to a door on ours. It passed through. When I closed the door, the space tunnel was gone, as was the image it described that allowed me to make the connections.
