I looked up and saw Nick coming into my office. "Close the door." I said as soon as he got in the doorway. Nick closed the door. "I think Teddy may have hurt Shelly, I think he may have assaulted her or even worse, he may have raped her." I saw Nick face go from a smile to clinched fists and a want to harm Teddy. "What makes you think that?" He asked. "When we were at lunch, he was at the deli and make eye contact with Shelly and I felt her change. I felt like she wanted to run and hide." "Did she tell you that he did anything to her." "Not in so many words. But I think something happened. I didn't push the issue, I want her to talk about it freely." "Good idea." Nick helped me pack up. I opened the door and saw that Shelly had left. "Andy came up with me, they left shortly after I came in." I let out a sigh. "Will you drop me off at the apartment tonight.
