Now, before you perverts get too excited and cream your britches, I should let you know up front that the people whose lives you get to watch under cam have consented and agreed to having their apartments be bugged with video cameras.
The only reason I feel obligated to mention this at the outset is because I want you to understand that this is, therefore, not voyeurism in the truest sense, where you are spying on people who are ignorant to the fact. That, my pathetic little friend, would be severely fucked up … not to mention 100% illegal. If that’s what you’re looking for, try the dark web. Or therapy. Actually, yeah, you should probably just go with the latter.
The first thing you’ll find when you land on Life Under Cam is their mission statement, which reads, “The main goal of the Life Under Cam project is to overcome the barrier that separates us from the real life of other people. Most people prefer the privacy of their private lives, but we try to attract liberated people to the project. Our participants do not object to being watched by live voyeur cam.”
So, that should give you a pretty good idea of the site. They are not just run by sketchy, morally flexible scumbags. This is clearly a professional operation. And, with privacy being something that people do obsess over in this day and age, one could argue that they are involved in a project of opening minds and creating a more open (and hopefully, therefore, sexually promiscuous) society.
A Few Apartments, Many Cameras
Although I’m sure it varies based on how many people they can get to sign up at a given time and how long their contracts run (not sure how all of this behind the scenes kind of stuff works on Life Under Cam), but at the time of this review, Life Under Cam offers unedited, uncut views into the lives of five different couples, five different apartments. Enjoy, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, being a fly on the wall of the apartments of Abigail and Sam, Lana and James, Sasha and Peter, Jessica and Collin, or Alex and Tony (a gay couple).
As far as the site itself is concerned, I think it’s designed really well. And a premium membership offers plenty of features, including access to every room (all bedrooms, bathroom, etc.), while guest access only lets you watch live streams of the kitchen and a hallway. A premium membership will also allow you to watch a given apartment’s stream from the past 24 hours (in case you missed something because you had to, I don’t know, sleep, or live a life of your own for a little while?), as well as recent recordings, where you’ll find all the good stuff (the fucking, showering, etc.).
Great Site Design, Couples Could be more Exciting
As I mentioned before, I am a fan of how the site is designed. Basically, you can access everything available on the site all on one page, which is super convenient, especially for something like this. Easily toggle between apartments by clicking on any from the list to the left of the video stream. To the right, you’ll find both a floorplan of the apartment, complete with where in each room the cameras are located. Easily select your view by clicking on a camera on the floorplan or choose your angle from a list underneath.
Above the live stream screen (on which you can also control volume and choose to watch in full-screen mode), you also have the option to watch either a single camera, or a split screen of four cameras at once. Should you select the four-screen option, you can simply choose which four screens you want (and quickly sub them out) from a dropdown menu assigned to each screen. I must say, though, I’ve never felt creepier than when I went through and assigned a specifically different camera to each of the four screens. That’s some next level stalker shit right there.
You can also easily see if anyone’s home at each apartment. The cameras installed have motion detection capabilities. So, if someone’s home, the apartment will show a little green person icon next to it. The same is true with the list of rooms. If someone is in a room, the same little green person will show up next to it on the list. When someone leaves the room, the little green dude is gone.
I don’t know, I found the live streams to be pretty fucking boring, personally. Maybe I’m just not enough of a creeper for this site. The real fun was in the recently recorded section, where you could watch these couples get it on from multiple angles. That was pretty cool. But, at that point, personally, I’d rather just watch amateur porn.
All in all, if you have a serious thing for voyeurism, you’ll probably love Life Under Cam. But, and I repeat, you’ll probably have to have a real peeping Tom fetish to get off to it. It would be nice if they had a few additional apartments to choose from, but maybe there will be more to cum in the near future.
