Not that much activity from the members
Yeah, I would also say that this subreddit is awesome from that point of view. I feel that this place can really offer a lot in terms of this kind of content and I also enjoy that you don’t have to pay for any of it. It’s just great. But one thing that isn’t so great is the size of the subreddit here. You see, I really like the fact that you can enjoy free trannies on here and all that, but the fact that this sub isn’t actually at the top of the charts when it comes to the member count when compared to other NSFW subs is also a cause for concern. I mean, sure, you can say that it’s not that important, but I feel like it is kinda!
I mean, the more people you have on a subreddit, the more content you are getting out of it. And what can you get from just 136,000 members? I mean, that sounds like a huge number of people, but I guarantee that it’s not so much at all. The subreddit was made in 2013, and I feel like in the time that it has been around, they could have done a lot more in the 7 years that they have been around. But oh well, it’s not the end of the world. I mean, you’re still getting a lot out of this place. I’m just saying that you could also be getting a lot more out of it if they really tried to improve the quality of their content.
Bareboned design with really dull colors
The subreddit has a default design, which makes me doubt myself whenever I come to /r/Tgifs. I feel like the mods here could take a little bit of that time that they spend banning people and actually do something productive by changing things like the color scheme. I mean, this boring Reddit blue that you get by default when you create a subreddit just doesn’t cut it for me if you catch my drift. And by now, most people have gone over to the new design instead of the old one, so whatever they had in the past just doesn’t’ cut it nowadays. Okay, so, let’s hope they change that and move on to bigger issues here.
The more serious complaints that I have don’t even have to do with the lack of an avatar or a cover photo. What I really wanted to bring attention to is the fact that there are no flairs, no rules, and the description of the subreddit is literally just one sentence. This shit is as bareboned as it gets, and the only thing you can hope to get out of it are the Hot and Top sections that Reddit comes with by default, but even these don’t have the best content at all times because the activity on the subreddit is low.
