Is This the Perversion You Envisioned?
I’ve reviewed many hentai sites over the years, so I’m always expecting the filthiest shit. So as soon as I saw the name Toonily show up in my inbox, I just assumed it was going to be full of toons focusing on the filthiest, weirdest shit. You know, like furry cat girl warrior princesses getting fucked by tentacled monsters, their bellies inflating to gargantuan proportions through the horror of alien impregnation. That isn’t what I found, though. Korean manhwa tends to be a little more subdued than what they’re drawing just across the Sea of Japan. Instead, on one of the most sparkly clean white layouts I’ve seen on an adult site this week, they present some sliding thumbnail images for their Top Colored Comics followed by preview pics from New Releases and then the smaller covers of their Latest Updates. And while I do see a couple of nipples peeking subtly from behind thin fabric, most of the art is surprisingly clean. I’m talking vampires in elaborate baroque gowns, buxom but fully clothed office lady MILFs, and images of couples who look so wholesome you might expect them to hold hands at the most.
Of course, titles like Keep It A Secret For Your Mother, Sexercise, and A Pervert’s Daily Life hint at something kinkier than the largely sexless cover and preview pics. Indeed, a closer look at the small pics reveals some kinky shit I hadn’t even noticed at first glance. I’m often blown away by just how fast some of the major hentai sites are growing. I think most people who aren’t fans of the material would be blown away by just how much is coming out every day. Well, Manhwa sites don’t grow quite as quickly, probably because there’s just not as much material. So it isn’t exactly rocket science. That said, Toonily.com is adding new material almost every day.
Manhwa tends to be told in a serial format, so most of the updates to Toonily are new chapters tacked onto ongoing manhwa. The very latest updates are chapters 11 and 12 of Nogada Romance and chapters 114 and 115 from A Pervert’s Daily Life. The longevity of these stories is always impressive because that high chapter count isn’t an anomaly. There is a handful on the front page with over a hundred. Tomb Raider King was recently updated with its 277th chapter.
Altogether, Toonily has more than 700 manhwas so far, and hundreds of them are ongoing. And to be precise, if you go check out the full list of Completed manhwa, it’s only 400 out of the entire Toonily collection. So even if you’re a marathon reader and the most compulsive, Viagra-addicted masturbating weeb in the world, you’re not going to run out of material to crank it to.
I kind of wish there was a way to find the newer stories with only a few chapters, to get in on the ground floor of something new. Those who like to click forward and back buttons to flip the pages may feel left out, but I found the scrolling presentation easy enough to read.
I can see why the comic is so popular on Toonily. The art is well done and in full color. This chapter opens with the dude already in bed with some blonde chick. There’s a lot of talking after the initial hookup, but he’s with some other broad as the chapter ends. Manhwa readers seem to appreciate the talky bits and drama more than the average hentai reader with bulging eyes and an ever-dripping boner, at least judging from the sites I’ve reviewed.
