It’s all in that clever name, just a couple keystrokes off from Reddit and XXX, the same search string you’d use if you weren’t exactly sure where to find all the smut on the platform. The idea here is basically to reframe the world’s biggest super forum into an interface that’s a bit more conducive to masturbation. I’ll tell you by the end of this review whether or not it worked for me, but I can tell from the numbers that a growing number of pervs are getting their kicks around here. Their traffic has been steadily ramping up over the last months, with well over 600,000 users swinging by with their dicks out in August. Let’s see what they were gawking at, shall we?
Porn Packed Like Sardines in a Tin
Reddxxx lays out the basics before you even see a single naked lady, with a bit of Welcome text explaining the premise and the controls. You can click the Dismiss button or just scroll down a bit to find the good stuff. If you were looking at dirty pics on Reddit itself, you’d have one long vertical scroll of content with a lot of text between the boobies. Right away, Reddxxx sets itself apart by packing a lot more flesh and fucking into a tight place.
The vibe here feels more like a photo-sharing social site, with multiple vertical columns of asymmetrical images, scaled based on your page width. Four columns look fucking beautiful on a 14” laptop, and the softly rounded corners give it a modern aesthetic. They’ve stripped out a lot of the unnecessary text, graphics, and wasted space you find in a Reddit sub, using all that screen real estate instead for the thots you came for.
There are some small ads scattered throughout, though my adblocker renders them as impotent and empty blocks. You can get rid of the empty blocks or the ads by purchasing a premium key for two bucks. It’s valid for 90 days, and honestly worth it if you find yourself shaking your dick at the site for more than a few minutes. It’s not that the ads are terribly intrusive, but it’s an easy way to show the creators some love. It can sometimes be easy to forget how big and all-encompassing Reddit is, since most people stick to their favorite corners, but Reddxxx lays it bare.
