Jim fell out of bed and stumbled over to turn off his alarm. Rubbing his eyes Jim put on his thick glasses. After a few blinks his reflection became clear in the dresser mirror.

Jim looked up where he could hear his foster mother arguing before scanning his room for a camera.
“Is this a joke?” Jim thought in confusion.
Looking down, the message was changing before his very eyes. Jim dropped the card in surprise. It fell face up on his bed.

“Da Fuck!” Jim said jumping back from the card.
It went blank. Jim picked it up after a minute of watching it for more text.
‘Yes, I can hear you, Jim. If you speak out loud I can reply. To prove it ask another question.’
“What is Warcraft?” Jim asked.

“Sure,” Jim said glancing up at his miniature figurines.
‘It’s like that. So back to my point. You are a D&D Dunamancy Wizard. You can bend potentiality and probability. By focusing on unrealized timelines, you can pull elements from them.’

‘Let me finish. BE CAREFUL! Only practice your Dunamancy on just the normal people around you. Don’t make waves in the timeline. Don’t go dating a celebrity. You’re too young and “low-level” to mess with the greater timelines.’
“Practice how?” Jim asked confused.

‘Being a Timelord is not a curse. It is a blessing. Have fun with it. But keep your changes small. Practice Dunamancy slowly … Not all at once. Take things slow. I will be in contact, and Happy Birthday,’
“Wait!” Jim shouted.

Jim was pushed from the kitchen, out of the house, and into the driveway. He stumbled to the family car as his headache returned. Looking back he watched … his … his baby mamas adjust their clothes.
