After I graduated high school, I decided to take some time off and work so I could save up money to go to college. The next two weeks were a blur as I got settled into my new place and entertained family and friends as they wished me well on my first place away from home. The evening before my first class, I was a little nervous and on edge for some reason. I decided to call it a night early and as I was brushing my teeth, I heard a knock on the door. At the top of the letter was the crest of my college, so it was froom someone from the school, but what was written baffled me. In a very feminine script was written the following: "Do you remember me? If not, you will soon enough. I hope you remember everything we experienced, for I look to rekindle our relationship. Sleep well and I will see you soon."
I stood there for several seconds reading and re-reading the letter, becoming more intrigued each time I read it. Something was itching the back of my brain, but I could not focus enough to find what it was. I smelled the envelope again, letting its sweet smell fill my nostrils. I again shrugged and turned off the lights and went to bed having more questions than answers filling my mind

I awoke before the alarm went off feeling refreshed and full of energy. I hopped in the shower and dressed and only then did I remember the letter. I picked it up and smelled it. The perfume smell had subsided quite a bit, but there were still traces of it present. I read the letter again, but still could not come up with any logical explanations for it. I set it back on my night table and after grabbing a pop tart, went out the door for my first day of school.
I got to the campus and parked and proceeded to find my way to where I was to register. It didn't take nearly as long as I thought it would, so I searched ou my class. I found where it was and headed off to the classroom. I was almost half an hour early but I went into the empty classroom anyway.
I was amazed at its size. It was almost twice the size of any classroom I had in high school, but I supposed that was normal. I found a seat way in the back and made it my own. No point in being front and center, I thought to myself. I took a notebook from my pack and opened it up. I looked at the clock. Still twenty-seven minutes to go before the start of class.
