I handed her the receipt, smiled, and left. I hopped into my car and went home. I put the milk in the fridge and grabbed the cordless. I watched some TV; hoping she would call. We talked for a while longer, learning the basics of each other. Then she told me her address and number; I wrote them both down. Then we said our good byes and hung up. I finished my supper and watched a movie. I headed to bed and fell asleep with a smile on my face.
The following morning I awoke refreshed and cheerful. I showered dressed and did the rest of my morning ritual. I never had more than a little bit of fruit for breakfast and today I chose to have some melon. After breakfast I headed to my basement to work.
My father, before he passed, wrote songs for some famous stars and I more or less lived off the royalties. I did, however, run a small craft business our of my basement. Special order stuff, and today I had some wedding candles to make. I set out the molds, then I got the wax ready.
I started the wax melting and then headed upstairs. I grabbed my shoes and jacket and left. I walked down town to the local cafe. I lived in a small town with a small college, so there was only a few shops but always new people in town. I got my hot chocolate and today’s paper; I then walked back home.
I got home a few minutes later, my hot chocolate had cooled enough to drink and my wax had melted. I added the color and scent and poured the wax into the molds. I went to my porch with a book; I read for awhile while waiting for the wax to cool. About an hour and a half later I went back to check the candles. They were finished; I then made them to my client’s specifications.
I had a quick lunch, then I spent the afternoon making 2 more bunches of candles. It stated to get later and I decided to call it a day and get ready for my date. I decide to dress casually formal. I wore a pair of khakis and a nice long sleeve black button down shirt. I wore a pair of nicer shoes with the outfit.
I then headed to my car after grabbing the paper with her address on it. I pulled out of my drive way and headed to her place. It took me a little while but I finally found her place. My car clock said 6:45 right before I shut it off. I walked up to her door and rang the bell.
The door opened and I stood their in awe before her beauty. What appeared before me would make Aphrodite jealous. She stood there, as beautiful as every, in a deep crimson dress that wonderfully accented her features. The dress allowed a subtle amount of curiosity, as it was a sleeveless dress that showed just enough cleavage and tempted by showing her thighs a little.
“Are you gonna come in or are you just going to stand there and stare at me?” she questioned.
“I don’t know, let me think about it,” I joked. “Sorry for staring, its just you are so beautiful that I couldn’t help myself.”
She blushed, “please come in, then you can stare if you still need to.”
We both laughed as I followed her in. I got a great view of her back because of her dress. I also watched her ass sway left and right as she walked. We got to her living room; I barely got my eyes up as she turned to face me.
“Have a seat while I finish getting ready,” she said motioning to one of her chairs.
I took a seat as she left to another room. I glanced around the room as she prepared herself. I spotted some pictures on the wall and decided to get up and have a better look. I got over to the pictures; the had Sandra and a older couple, who I assumed to be her parents.
“Just can’t keep your eyes off me can you?” she teased as she walked up behind me.
“Nope, I guess I can’t. Who are these two?”
“They’re my parents.”
“Oh, where are they now?”
“Well they’re in Florida. My dad retired a couple of months ago and he and my mom decided to move some where a little warmer. The gave me their house and I’ve been living here since. What about your parents?”
“My father passed away a few years ago and my mother passed about a year after he did.”
“Oh I’m so sorry.”
“It’s ok, I’ve had my time to grieve.”
“Well, let’s change to a happier subject, like our date.”
“Shall we?” I asked, offering her my arm.
“We shall,” she said as she put her arm through mine.
I escorted her to my car and got the door for her. I drove us to a nice local italian restaurant. During the drive we both caught each other looking at one another. We got there and I got the door for her. Then I walked her to the door of the restaurant and opened the door for her as we walked in.
I looked around as we waited for someone to seat us. It was a dimly lit place with tables and booths, but they weren’t really close together. The tables and booths had red and white checkered table clothes that draped nearly to the floor. The waiter finally came and seated us in a round booth in the back of the restaurant.
We sat down and looked at our menus. I ordered a good bottle of wine and we got a couple of glasses of it. We both ordered and talked while waiting for the food. After a while the food arrived. We ate while continuing our conversation. We finished our food; I proposed a toast.
Lifting my glass, “to milk.”
“To milk?” she asked looking confused.
“Yes, because if I hadn’t needed milk at the time I did then I wouldn’t have met you.”
She giggles and blushed, “to milk,” she said raising her glass.
We continued to talk; she subtly scooted closer and closer to me. Finally we were barely inches apart and she had a look of desire in her eyes. I slowly moved closer to her and looked deeply into her eyes. We moved even closer, our faces nearly touching. Then I slowly motioned to kiss her.
