Foreword:
I am reposting many of my stories, I could not get back into my original jjcole members site after I changed my e-mail. I ended up in the nightmare of the ‘use confirmation word’ endless cycle so I started over.
I am an old man living in Texas some forty years now but not born here. My first language was French, then Spanish, then English so you may see some Yoda like sentence structures here and there. With forgiveness please.
I am re-posting all the stories in my two long series, Felicity and Peers. Both have been edited and the Felicity stories have been placed in order.
Peers has been edited to make it less rambling and to clear up some parts but it is essentially the same.
The Felicity stories all started out as stand alone stories. Some are short and some are very long. Some begin someplace other than Felicity but end up there. Some of those ended up there after they were originally posted.
Some had not been posted because the characters would not behave but are posted now. Some were written long after the first set was posted.
Felicity is a fictitious small town on the Texas coast just west of Highway 288 about seventy miles southwest of Houston. Timid drivers could drive down in an hour and a half. Aggressive drivers could easily shave fifteen minutes from that. All of the drive is by four lane highway although the last ten miles are on state highways.
There is a ghost town in that general location, the remains of a town wiped out by a hurricane a hundred years ago.
The stories include some that are non-sexual, most are romantic, many lesbian, a few with a fetish or two.
All stories are ‘women friendly.’
Felicity itself had suffered a big blow from a hurricane ten years before our stories begin. The third of the town closest to the beach had been wiped out although the old downtown had survived.
Oddly the towns only beach resort had also survived but it had fallen into disrepair.
During the years since the storm the town had become stagnant, few things were fixed, nothing was rebuilt.
The towns spiritual and financial leader, Angus MacDuff, had died shortly after the storm. His only son had died in the Middle East and his sorrow left him with no interest in the town.
All thought he had died from grief.
His five daughters fell into a period of sadness and apathy concerned only for each other and their children.
The oldest was Martha, sharp witted mother of three daughters. She was a science teacher but at the start of the stories she had been coerced into being the acting superintendent of schools.
The next oldest was Allison, she did not live in Felicity for most of her adult life. She did move back and brought her Toyota car dealership with her. She also brought her long term lesbian partner. Her son remained away but her daughter moved to Felicity too.
The middle daughter was Wendy. The most intelligent and most talented of the five. Bisexual all her life. She was the center of what became a very extended family and appears in many of the stories. Her two sons had died in the accident that killed her ex-husband.
The next oldest was Maureen who everyone called Mo. She was a six foot tall amazon of a woman that had been in the pro tennis circuit. She had three daughters and was divorced. She was a high school principal and became superintendent when Martha retired. She was straight until she fell in love with a woman as she neared fifty.
Amanda was the youngest and the only non-college graduate. She had three children one of which was the only surviving male. She was the prettiest sister and became a very successful real estate agent. Her twin brother was the one killed in the Middle East
All were redheads as were all their children except Allison’s son. The sisters did have money, their father owned a lot of land in and outside of town. They were the MacDuff Group.
Each sister strongly regretted not showing their father all the love they had for him before he died. They swore that no one they loved would doubt their love, ever.
Everyone they loved regardless of sex, race, or status were kissed on the lips and embraced. They held hands with all who would allow it.
Many in Felicity began to do that with their favorite people too.
The town however needed someone with a vision. The entrenched politicians were comfortable with being entrenched and very little had been done to the town since the hurricane. Their inaction got one new resident of the town pissed. His name was Ben.
