Mr. Peterson's senior English class gave a round of applause as she stepped in the door. Instantly, every male mouth in the room but one dropped to the floor. Logan tried desperately to peek around King Kong. He leaned left, further...further...CRASH! His head collided with the floor as the sound reverberated through the room. He felt something sharp stab painfully into the back of his skull. Laughter instantly erupted in his ears. He smelled something sweet, delicious...like strawberries. He felt someonething, felt a hand stroking his left arm, another reaching behind his head, supporting it...
And there she was. He opened his eyes to a brilliant light, then the silhouette of a head came into view, then long hair fluttered past his eyes.
"Are you okay?" The strawberries came back. The voice was muffled, almost drowned out by the sounds of laughter and stamping of feet.
"I...I sink tho..." he tried to form the words in his mouth but they came out in a jumble. "I mean...I think so."
Another bright white light emerged in the midst of the dark silhouette. Then the strawberries. His vision was slowly coming back. He could make out two brilliant blue pools in the middle of the head, then the light turned into a smile, then soft features; a nose, a chin, the lines of cheeks and jaw. On either side of the smile he worked out a set of full crimson lips, wet with sweet fragrant moisture that seeped from her mouth.
"C'mon, let's get you to your feet," the voice again, but this time much higher, sweeter. Like honey.
"I'm fine, really I'm...ooohhh." His head throbbed painfully as he lifted it from the floor.
"Logan? Do you need to go to the nurse's office?" Another voice. Male, elderly. The sounds of laughter were quieting, with some snickers murmuring from time to time.
"I'll take him Mr. Peterson," the honey-sweet voice again.
"No, really, I'm fine, it was nothing, I..." his words trailed off as he felt something damp on the back of his head.
"Oh my God, you're bleeding!" the voice, the blue pools, the hair swaying back and forth in front of him. It was like a dream.
"I'll call Nurse Ito."
Logan sat up, his hand still feeling the back of his head. When he looked up again his jaw went slack and his hand dropped to the floor.
She was gorgeous. Her long, thick golden brown hair with streaks of blonde flowed down her head and over her shoulders, curling at the ends. The brilliant blue pools were just as Logan had imagined; ice-blue eyes with flecks of white. The face was contorted into a look of worry, which made it look all the prettier. His eyes moved down her kneeling body slowly, though he couldn't make anything out. It was all bunched together.
"C'mon, let's get you up son," he felt a brusque hand reach under his arm and help him to his feet.
"I'll take him to the nurse's office," Veronica repeated as she stood up.
For a second time, Logan's jaw went slack. She had a perfectly sculpted body. Large, round, soft breasts that revealed themselves nicely in an Abercrombie low-cut t-shirt. "Alright, do you know where it is?" Mr. Peterson asked.

She took Logan's arm and walked him out of the class, through the halls, and into the nurse's waiting room. Two young freshmen sat bloodied and bruised across from each other, and at the sight of Veronica they sat erect and their eyes went wide.
"What happened to you?" the nurse behind the desk asked curtly as she thumbed through the pages of a magazine, glancing up to see the new patient.
"He fell out of his desk and I think his head hit a piece of glass or something," Veronica replied.
"Alright, name?" the nurse closed her magazine and stood up.
"Logan Hunter," he winced, feeling a small trickle of blood flow down his neck.
"Alright, have a seat and I'll be right with you."
As they sat, Veronica bent him forward and checked his head.
"Oooh, looks pretty bad, I'm so sorry," she made a face of pained sympathy as he sat back.
He looked into her eyes and smiled. He couldn't think of anything to say but, "Thank you."
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to make it sound worse..."
"No, I mean thank you for taking me. I really appreciate it."
"Oh," she smiled and looked down, "well, you're welcome then."
The day had ended and Logan had seen no more of Veronica than when their first class was over. He was supremely bummed out and walked to his car after school in silence.
"Hey Mom," he walked into the house and noticed his mother vaccuuming the carpet in the foyer.
"Hi sweetie," she replied, "how was your first day?"
"Not so good," he turned to show her the bandage stained with blood on his head, "but then again not so bad."
"Oh my," she put her hand to her mouth and felt the wound, "I'm so sorry honey. How did it happen?"
"Well, ya see that's the not so bad part...I, uh, I met a girl."
"Oh really? Is she pretty?"
"She's the most beautiful girl I've ever seen. You wouldn't believe her if you saw her. And she's incredibly sweet."
"Well, maybe you should turn on a bit of that Hunter charm and go after her," she nudged him and winked.
"Ha, like she'd be interested in me..."
"Well why not? You know how handsome you are. You're funny, sweet, charming, and smart. All girls love guys like you."
"Thanks mom."
Logan stood in his bathroom in his boxers, looking at himself in the mirror. His eyes ran their course over his body a hundred times.
He was tall, almost six feet one inch, with baby blue eyes and short, straight dark brown hair. He made several different faces to show his many great features; a straight white smile, smooth but distinctly masculine jawline and chin, and well-proportioned features. His body was in great shape, he worked out every night and had a natural tan that drew the attention of many a girl. Most people said he was a cross between Ben Affleck and Colin Farrel, minus the Irish accent.
"Alright, why not? She could be interested," he said as he cracked a wry grin.
The next morning, he made himself up especially nice, putting a little extra gel in his hair, brushing his teeth so they sparkled, spraying a little extra cologne on his neck. As he walked downstairs his dad said from the kitchen, "Whew, got a hot date at school or something son? The smell is spreading throughout the house."
He was the first one to class first period, sitting erect and alert in his seat, hardly able to wait for the bell to ring. After what seemed like an eternity, he heard the familiar chime and the class slowly filled up. Veronica was one of the last people to come in, and she took her seat in the back without even glancing at Logan.
"Alright, today we're going to discuss your summer reading..." Mr. Peterson droned on to a hardly attentive student body.
Logan settled back in his seat, disappointed at not achieving even a glimpse from Veronica. Suddenly he felt something hit his hip. He looked over and noticed a folded letter lying on the floor. He bent down and picked it up, trying as best he could to conceal it from wandering eyes. He opened it and instantly smelled strawberries. YES! From her!
