We arrived at the beach and piled out of the car. We grabbed our stuff and raced out onto the sand to stake our claim to the best spot on the beach. It was still quite warm, and our friends were stripping down to their suits and headed into the water. I sat in the sand and pulled off my sneakers and t-shirt. Standing next to me, Teresa pulled her t-shirt over her head, and then slid those blue jeans down to her ankles. The whole time she was doing this she never broke eye contact with me, and she was moving slowly, bending over a little too much, taking just a little too long.
