And since the company followed a bell curve system, someone had to take the fall.
Kurt excused himself from the meeting and headed to his desktop to compose his resignation, but ended up deciding to have a coffee to settle down.
Half an hour later, he walked back in and went straight to Nellys cubicle.
Nelly, I am having trouble digesting my performance rating. I am not sure if I can maintain my motivation and continue working with the same energy.
Nelly calmly tilted her head a little and gave a slight nod. The guy sitting next to her immediately got up and left. Look Kurt, I can understand where you are coming from.
