JJ struggled to roll down his window with the old school hand crank before leaning back and running his hand through his short buzzcut, "So..." JJ he yawned again, "How much further did you say?"

Behind him, tucked away in the compact backseat, sat a short and filled out Asian girl. The girl jumped, quickly looked up from her laptop and pulled out one of her earbuds that was blasting music, "What was that, Ken?" She sweetly asked the teen with a warm smile,
Mindy Long was Kenny's best friend, hands down, the pair had been next to inseparable since they first entered schooling altogether. They were the first friends they ever had and that was never going to change, the pair agreed on that entirely. As Kenny relayed the information to the girl, Mindy pulled the other earbud out and fixed her long straight brown hair, pushing it behind her shoulders while locking her eyes on Kenny's through the rearview mirror. She had a twinkle in her eye as she intently listened to every word that Kenny said to her.
Unbeknownst to Kenny, Mindy had developed a profoundly intense crush on the teen a few years back. The only person who knew about this was JJ, having picked up on Mindy's longing looks far too quickly for the girls liking. However, JJ, being a close friend with her since Kenny introduced the two, assured her that he wouldn't reveal anything unless she wanted him to. This was the number one reason that Kenny had never once noticed Mindy's infatuation with him, their relationship was built upon playful teasing and flirting. "I know, Brian convincing his dad to have all of us flown out to an island resort for a whole month...he may act like a dick sometimes, but Brian is seriously a fucking great guy," Kenny nodded as he pressed on his gas pedal, speeding the car up so they could get to the airfield a bit sooner. "Helps that his dad is laid back about this too,"
"His dad has way more to worry about then his son and their friends taking a month trip to a resort," JJ reminded the teen before going quiet, "This is gonna be fucking sweet," He tacked on after a few moments,
"You can say that again," Mindy agreed with a broad smile of her own.
Minutes later Kenny was pulling his car into a spot right next to Brian's red Mustang, "Sorry to leave you here for so long, but...can't take you on the plane," Kenny whispered out as he gave his console a small pat, "You should be alright,"
"If anyone came out here to take a car and picked this hunk of shit over that one," JJ interrupted while thumbing over to the cherry red car next to them, "Then they'd be the stupidest fucking person on the planet,"
"This is a classic, JJ!" Kenny shot back with a frown,
"With a hundred twenty thousand miles and a rusted out body, sorry Ken, you didn't actually get the car you always dreamed of," JJ laughed causing Kenny to give him a quick shove only causing the black teen to laugh more,
"Hey, hey, hey, enough boys," Mindy interjected while leaning forward and separating the pair, "No fighting,"
"Yeah, Kenny, no fighting," JJ echoed with a toothy smile,
"Shut up," Kenny chuckled as he opened his door and stepped out, JJ quickly followed suit. While JJ walked to the trunk and pulled it open, Kenny pulled his seat forward and took Mindy's hand, helping her get out of the small backseat. "Sorry for sticking you back there for so long," Kenny genuinely apologized while the girl let out a long stretch, her generous C-Cups pushing against her baggy shirt for just a moment before disappearing from sight.

A few quick minutes passed by as they walked in silence before they saw their large group of friends rush out of the hanger to greet them.
In the front, leading the group, was Brian White, their wealthy friend who was hosting the whole trip. The teen had become friends with Kenny after a somewhat rocky start, tormenting Kenny during their younger days but soon finding common ground when paired up for a school project. Brian expressed his regret to Kenny for the way he had treated him in the past and over the last couple years the two had hung out many times at Brian's house or ski lodge.

"JJ!" The other girl exclaimed while running over and embracing the teen,

Kailyn Johnson made up the final member of the group, the older one of them at Twenty one. She became fast friends with Rachel in college and Rachel forced her to get away from her law studies and enjoy at least one month of their time off before burying her head back into paperwork. It took some time, but after hearing her brother, whom she hadn't seen in nearly a year, was going she couldn't resist agreeing, at least to have a little family time.
Just a few inches short than Rachel, Kailyn was a strikingly beautiful woman, her long curly black hair matched her chocolate colored eyes. Kenny always kept any thoughts about the girl buried away, out of respect for JJ, and due to her intense studies, she was rarily seen around town. Due to this, Kailyn was in the same boat as Zoey, not knowing many of the people in the group, besides Kenny and Mindy, who she always assumed were dating based off their friendly, flirtatious nature.
