Have you ever been awakened by the shrill ringing of a school bell before? I have on many occasions. Few of them have actually been from school, and most have been from the single worst alarm clock in the entire state. I fucking hate this damned alarm.

So with the slowness afforded to a newly graduated nineteen-year-old, and wasn't that the coolest thing ever, I shut off the world's worst alarm and got up.
I nabbed my phone off it's charger and extracted myself from my sanctuary, my abode, my batchelor pad, my room upstairs; and began the descent down the carpeted stairs. Oh, how I love carpet.
I swiped my blonde hair out from in front of my eyes, while barely hanging on the the railing to keep my sleep adled body upright. As I reached the bottom step, my world twisted. I found myself on the floor with a flash of red hair on my chest. The gremlin looked up to see my eighteen-year-old imp of a sister, Addison, or Addy as she insists I call her.
"Happy birthday, Alex!" She yelled, probably forgetting my ear was less that a foot away from her mouth. And... is that pancake I smell on her breath?

She grinned, "Yep! Chocolate pancakes with irish syrup and whipped cream!"
My favorite breakfast. Oh, I think I just drooled.
"C'mon, bro! Biggest bro won't be here til, like, five or six PM. So no need to save him some! I want seconds," she said as she pulled me to my feet.
She was an acrobat and a martial artist. She was a skinny, slip of a girl, but she had some serious strength to her. I've seen her abs. They make all my soccer buddies jealous. Sitting at the dinning tabke in the kitchen was my father, Aiden. He was a tall, fit man with burning red hair. Also one of the biggest drinkers I know. I've watched him down five full bottles of Jack Daniel's and come away a little tipsy. Then again, he is a pure Irish native. So it really shouldn't be that surprising. Though, I am glad that his accent has receded as much as it has. It still comes out now and again, but now it's just a few words the trip his accent. The funniest son of a bitch I know. But no matter how hard I or Mom try to get him to, he refuses to go into comedy. I guess he makes more money doing... whatever it is he does.
Finally, standing by the stove in a cute sleeveless top and a long skirt with a frilly apron and brunette hair cascading to her ass is my mother, Abigail. Do you see the pattern here? She is the kindest, sweetest, most down to earth woman I have ever met. I rolled my eyes and grabbed it from the red headed girl. "Thanks, Dad."
I oppened it to find a micro USB.
"I recomend you watch what's on there later. I think ya may enjoy it," He said.

I am not ashamed to admit that I jumped. My mother has presence in a room, but she can be incredibly sneaky when she wants to be.
I turned to see her giggle a little and place the pancake in front of my usual seat at the table. She gave me a quick peck on my cheek and landed another on my sister.
"Happy birthday, sweetie." She said. She hugged me between her breasts, and squeezed. She may not be as active as my sister, but is nearly as strong.
"Thanks, Mom. Can I breathe now?" I wheezed.
"Oh, sorry, Alex. Don't know my own strength," she said, and let me go. I gave her one quick hug in return and sat at the table.
Breakfast was lovely, as was the company. Addy gave me a big, red wrapped present, and Mom slid a suspiciously video game sized package. Addy told me to wait until night before opening her gift, while Mom encouraged me to open hers. She was so excited, actually bouncing and wriggling in her seat. I oppened it to find the final game in my all-time favorite rpg series. The one I figured I'd never be able to buy. The last rpg developed for the ps2 before the creative director died. The game that was nearly five hundred dollars.
I allowed her to crush my torso as I hugged her. I fucking love my family.
As breakfast drew to a close, my mother quieted us. She looked to Addy and Dad. They nodded.
"Honey, we have one more gift for you. One from all of us, including your brother. We thought about it for a long time, but we want to thank you for everything you've done."
I didn't have to think long to know what she was talking about. I've always been smart, almost excessively so. I've had the innate ability to easily understand whatever I want to. It's because of my family and my upbringing that I didn't become concieted or overly prideful.
While most might use my gift of intelligence for their own benefit, which I mist certainly will once I move out, I insteaf used it for my family. I helped Dad understand business for his company, whatever it is. I helped Mom become a work at home CEO at the firm she worked at, and now co-owns. I gave my sister as many tips as I could on her way to the national league for both acrobatics and Brazilian Jiu Jujitsu. And I helped my brother, Aaron, to learn new strats for his professional CS:GO team.
"So, lad," Dad continued, "we want to give ya something special, for all ta special things you've done fer us."
Addy nodded, "This goes for Aaron too, but we want you to ask us for something."
Dad continued, "It can be anything, anything at all."
Mom smiled her cute, innocent smile, "It can even be sexual if you'd like. But truly, it can be absolutely anything you wish. Whether it be a one-time thing, or have it last a lifetime. Anytjing you want."
Addy nodded hard enough to make me fear that her head might come off.
