On July 14, 1789, the Bastille has just been taken.
The prisoners who were held there escape and were celebrated as heroes... however as the first revolutionary symbol, it falls a little flat; the prison only housed seven prisoners this day and no political prisoner, only a bunch of common criminals.
And you, you are:

You were aware that the situation was tense and ready to explode. France was running on colossal debts and King Louis XVI had no other choice that to summon the Estates. However the Nobles and the commoners disagree on how the vote should take place and tension gets high. The clergy is divided and the political situation is sensitive, but nobody could predict that in the coming years a millennial monarchy was going to disappear.
And while these major events in the history of France unfolded, you are:
C1) One of the prisoners of the Bastille.
C2) One of the revolutionaries
C3) A noble at Versailles
C4) A noble far from Versailles
C5) A commoner in the countryside
C6) A foreigner passing through
(In 1789, since about 100 years, Versailles is the place to be. It has a huge castle where the King rules and all the rich nobles have parties and get drunk.)
The news of the fall of the Bastille stronghold is soon known everywhere in the country. The revolution has begun! It's an event that:

Bienvenue dans cette quête. Le principe est assez différent des autres histoires à choix multiple, puisque dans ce cadre ce sont les lecteurs qui choisissent et influencent les éléments de l’histoire. Le 14 juillet 1789, la Bastille vient d’être prise.
Les prisonniers qui y étaient retenus s’en échappent et sont fêtés comme des héros… Mais comme premier symbole révolutionnaire, il tombe un peu à plat ; la prison n’hébergeait ce jour que sept prisonniers, et aucun prisonnier politique. il n’y a là qu’un ramassis de criminels de droit commun. Et vous, vous êtes :

Vous étiez au courant que la situation était tendue et prête à exploser. La France était ruinée depuis plusieurs années et le roi Louis XVI n’avait eu d’autres choix pour réformer le pays que de faire appel aux États généraux. Mais, suite à l’opposition des députés du tiers-état concernant le système de vote, les tensions n’avaient fait que s’envenimer. Les roturiers et les nobles se regardaient en chiens de faïence, le clergé était divisé. La situation politique était sensible, mais rien ne laissait cependant présager que dans les prochaines années une monarchie plus que millénaire allait être mise à bas.
Et pendant que ces évènements majeurs de l’histoire de France se déroulaient, vous étiez :
