Another long day at work had finally come to a close. David was making his two-mile walk home from the coffee shop he worked at, his head hung low with a sigh escaping his lips. The entire neighborhood he lived in was mostly housing to be rented out by college students since it was decently close to the campus. Now even closer to his own house, he saw his two neighbors arrive into their driveway. Riley and Sarah. They were both part of a large group of girls on campus that loved to party. The noise from their house was usually very good at keeping David awake late into the night while he was trying to rest up. Another such party was supposed to be happening some time soon, but he didn't know the exact date.
As David finally approached his own house, he could hear music playing from inside. His two room-mates were Amy and Francis. Amy was a long-term friend of David's from way back in middle school, and Francis was his best friend from high school. Amy was rather short at just 5'3 and was always excited about something. Francis was around David's height and was usually called out as a pervert and woman-chaser. The music that David was hearing was definitely Francis', but as soon as he opened the door, it was shut off.
"Dude, you're not going to believe this" Francis said. "And 'this' is...?" David asked. Frances just waved for David to follow and he did so. They went into David's room where his laptop was open on his desk. Frances just pointed at it and David walked over to see what it was showing. It was an article following up on some news from a few months previous. David remembered this. There was a law that had been proposed that seemed so ridiculously outrageous that it was surprising to see it even brought to consideration. 'The Free-Use Law' they had deemed it. It was a law that would allow any man to sexually use any woman above the legal age of consent without her having a say in the matter. David, as everyone else had, dismissed the idea of it even getting close to passing. But just then he started reading.
"At first, the ridiculous nature of the Free-Use law had caused quite a stir in news around the globe. There were many protests for even the mention of the law, and there was talk of riots breaking out, but now what had seemed just a fantasy might come to pass. News say that the law has passed the house of representatives and the senate and is to be placed on the president's desk tomorrow for review. Interviews with several members of the president's staff and the vice president have lead most to believe that the president has full intention to pass the law."
The article went on to discuss the morality of the law and how such a thing could be happening, but David was too stunned to finish reading the entire article. "This has to be a joke, right?" he asked, turning to look at Francis. "Open the next tab" Francis said, and so David did. It was another article talking about the same thing with similar points. This was happening. The next question David asked took him a few seconds to consider. "Does Amy know?" Francis seemed a little surprised by the question and said "I'm sure she's heard about it from somewhere. Dude, you know what this means, right? We're going to be able to fuck whoever we want and they can't turn us down." Again, David considered. If this was to pass, Francis was completely right. All the fantasies he had in his head about the girls at school could become possible. "So who're you gonna fuck first?" Francis asked, raising an eye-brow.
