"Welcome, ladies and gentlemen...!" the announcer's voice rings out, "...to another episode of ... SEX...! SURVIVOR!"
The audience erupts in applause, hoots, and whistles. Dozens of enormous video screens around the stadium-like studio fill with camera shots of raucous audience members.
"I am, as always, Art Timms!" the announcer tells the world. After a pre-recorded intro reminds the audience of the 10 returning contestants standing behind him, Art continues, "And tonight, it is my pleasure to introduce our two newest contestants, ...Gail Taylor...!"
From one side of the stage, a woman in a tight fitting, curves emphasizing one piece bikini rushes out. The crowd roars, particularly but certainly not limited to the men of the audience.
"... and Greg Durn!"
From the other side of the stage, a well built man in spandex shorts -- tight to emphasize his 'package' -- runs out to yet another roar. And just as with the female contestant, his admirers are not solely from the opposite gender.
After a short interview of each, Art reviews the rules of Sex Survivor. He finishes by explaining, "A contestant can, at any point, withdraw from Sex Survivor with a single word..."
The studio audience hollers in unison, "SURRENDER!"
Art turns to face the contestants and asks, "And will YOU be the one who surrenders?"
The contestants -- taking muscle flexing, aggressive, or sexually provocative poses -- holler in unison, "FUCK no!"
Again, the audience erupts.
"And how do we start this fun?" Art asks the audience.
Throughout the packed stands, the excited fans holler in unison, "Get ready ... get set ... FUCK!"
Suddenly, the contestants sprint for the doors over which are their names. As they disappear from the audience's view, they reappear on the stadium screens courtesy of any one of over 3,000 cameras staged in 200 game locations occupying the 100,000 square foot studio.
In their own "Stage One" room -- which will also double as their 'bedroom' during their stint on the show -- each contestant strips naked; hurries through a brain teaser puzzle, a feat of strength, and a second feat of dexterity; then rushes through a second door into The Money Room.
Here, each contestant hurries to snatch up as much money as he or she can carry in their still naked state. The first contestants into the Money Room get more money; those who arrive last -- or don't arrive before the 5 minute bell goes off -- get little or none.
At the end of it all, the audience rejoices in the erotic mayhem.
And that audience is not restricted to the 2,000+ occupants of the studio. Around the world, in homes, dorm rooms, bars, and sex clubs, those who have paid the $29.99 per episode fee are frantically tapping fingers upon remote controls, keyboards, and touch screens to follow the action on their large and small screen devices alike.
And thanks to high speed internet and the most advance proximity and tracking technology in the world, the home viewers are able to not only watch the current 'main event' of Sex Survivor, as chosen by the show's Director; but can also follow any one specific contestant courtesy as he or she -- and the 'events' in which they are participating -- move about the game zone.
All the while, Art Timms and a handful of other 'commentators' describe what is happening between -- or TO -- the contestants. Sometimes, the descriptions come in graphic, 'thrust by thrust', 'blow by blow' detail, making Sex Survivor more popular than the next 25 live internet programs COMBINED!
