I know that anyone who reads this will say ‘No fool like an old fool’. And I agree!
But I would also say that I never had illusions we would run off together, but I really did want us to be friends. What were /are my feelings towards this young lady? Lust, Infatuation or Love? I suspect a little of all.
How can you fall in love with someone you have never met, or even seen? Because sometimes there is a deeper connection than that. She is such a lovely young woman and I think about her every day.
Why have I written this? Because I needed to get the thoughts out of my head and onto the page to make them clearer for me.
