This is my friend and leader. You and I do what he wants us to do. You follow my lead.’
The b**st returned his attention outward in protection. Otton asked, “What is that?”
“I will have to try to explain later. Right now, he is loyal to me and I think to me alone.”
“Okay. Stand up, I have your weapons, but no armor. Open your legs.”
I looked at him. He was on one knee and digging into a pack and pulling out things. He put a belt around my waist. I looked around me at the mayhem. Several of our Unit were providing cover blasts from their handheld weapons and the b**st was reeking death wherever his claws or fangs could reach. I looked down and Otton was securing holsters around both of my naked thighs. Then he took the final thing out of his pack. It was my battle lance in its own holster and he strapped it to my back which held it firmly in place but easily accessible by reaching up and over my shoulder. The straps crossed in front between my breasts. Then he slid a huge knife into a scabbard attached to the holster on my right thigh. Then he looked at me. He attached a collar to my neck and gave an ear piece. “This will allow you to link into our battle communications. Are you ready? We need to locate the command center and destroy it.”
“I know where that is. He was the first bastard to use me.”
We turned and with our mates blasted our way out the barracks building and to the command center. I led the way with the b**st beside me. Once at the door, the team took over and made a coordinated assault. They killed who got in the way and planted enough explosive to level the building. As we made our exit, we heard over the comm units that the other Unit was being surrounded. The b**st and I dashed off to their position. Otton called to me to wait but I just believed that the element of surprise was much more important now than a planned and well executed approach. As we approached, I could see that the other Unit was defensively positioned around available wreckage and virtually surrounded. As the b**st and I sprinted to them, I thought, ‘I need to leap over them and land inside where my friends are. Can you get ahead of me and position you back so I can leap off you and jump over them? Then I want you to roar your most fierce sound and attach from the rear.’ I then saw him race ahead, sk** into the rear of the enemy mass and slightly lower his rear. I hit his shoulders at full speed and leaped with all my might. I twisted in the air and came down facing outward. To them it was a naked female flying over their heads. It gave the moment of hesitation that was needed. As I touch the ground, I pulled my two weapons from my thighs and fired at point blank range. Every shot was a kill shot. From behind me I heard renewed firing and blasts. In front of me I heard the most terrifying roar I ever want to hear, but knew that it was the b**st. Then, quickly followed by blasts that I knew were from Otton and our team. Within minutes, certain death turned into a reverse slaughter. Somewhere during all that the Command Center blew.
From that location, once a death trap but now a safe rendezvous point, we located all our people, snipers and assault force. Then we coordinated our exit. Mission accomplished.
We exited the city with little other conflict. As I walked naked with the team, the b**st stayed at my side. The team was wary of him but his apparent devotion to me was obvious. I stopped when we were well outside of the city and told Otton, “I want to keep the b**st. There must be some way for him to come with us. But maybe I need to find out if that is what he wants.”
Otton looked at me in disbelief, “If that is what he wants? Are you implying that you two are able to communicate?”
“How else do you think we were able to coordinate our actions as we did?”
“Okay, does he?”
I looked at the b**st in his eyes and asked him verbally so everyone could hear, “Do you want to stay here in this place or come with me? You will be going to a place where there is no ground and it will be very different. If you want to come with me lick my face once. If you want to stay here, just walk away.” He licked my face once and stood next to me.
Otton said, “I am going to have to check with our Leader. This is highly unusual.”
“At least let’s get off this planet and get the decision. If we have to, we can return him.”
Based on the accounts of multiple members of the assault force and Otton’s personal appeal on my behalf, the Leader agreed to allow the b**st to come with us. I named him b**st and asked him if that was acceptable. He accepted the naming. He is the first “pet” on a Predator ship to anyone’s recollection. That fact would prove to be a problem later for him and me. But that’s for later.
