I joined Linda and Sara back in the hot tub. We watched as they each took one of her hands as they walked her down to the barn.
Linda asked me if everything was alright. I told her it will be pointing to the three of them walking toward the barn. Sara looked to me and smiled as she asked, ” Damn Kay what the hell was I feeding that girl, ” laughingly
I cupped my own girls as I told her sort of runs in the family. We soon saw Danny, John, and Michelle taking off on horses. I knew they had gotten everything worked out.
About an hour later we saw them return. John walked up sat down and started to take his motocross gear off. I asked where Michelle was. He told me she and uncle Danny were putting the horses away. I asked him if they got everything talked out. John shook his head yes as he said, ”Kay that girl is no girl any longer perhaps we should lock her in the barn.”
”JOHN, ” I yelled then laughed as I told him I knew what he meant.
Sara asked, ”What did Danny tell her?”
John smiled as he replied everything she wanted to hear, ” ”While being the perfect gentleman as always,” as he smiled at me.
John slipped out of all his gear except for his underwear and climbed into the hot tub. I told him he would get us all dirty. Yeah right and your show in here last night didn't as he splashed water at me. Soon all of us were splashing each other and laughing as we carried on. I sort of wrapped my arm around him hooking my thumb in the waistband of his underwear as we sat together in the hot tub.
Danny and Michelle walked up as he said, You guys should get a room, ” Michelle added ”Really, ” as they walked into the house.
They walked into the house and returned a few minutes later both had a glass of whiskey in their hand. Michelle went to her daddy and handed it to him as she said, ”Uncle Danny said you would need this.”
John stood up and took the glass as we all busted up laughing. There was John standing with his underwear below his knees. His junk hanging out for all to see even Michelle. Apparently, my hooked thumb in his waistband had pulled them down when he stood up. He looked to Michelle as he pulled them back up.
Michelle smiled as she said, ”Don't worry daddy as its nothing I haven't already seen.”
She told us she would go get the hamburgers ready for dinner walking away. John chugged his drink as he said, ”Yep just one of those days.” Before sitting back down.
Sara asked him what did she mean nothing she ain't saw before. I explained the first time Michelle met John. They all laughed as John told them it was not funny then laughed with us.
Michelle returned and asked her daddy to help her cook the hamburgers and hotdogs she had prepared. Danny got up as he said ”Let Uncle Danny help as that steak I had last night was a little overcooked, ” as he looked to John.
”Fuck you, Danny, ” John replied.
Michelle looked to John as she said, language daddy.”
John smiled as he said, ” Sorry princess, ” ”You can spank me later.”
Sara grabbed him by his arm pulling him across her and Linda’s lap in the hot tub as she said, ” Why wait, ” as they playfully took turns spanking him.”
The rest of our weekend went well however we all made sure our doors were closed and locked with Michelle home when having fun. John and Danny left early Monday morning in uniform to honor those on Memorial Day.
Later that day we all said goodbye and the three of them left telling us they would see us for the wedding. Michelle and I were just now starting to plan together.
Planning that wedding brought us closer than we had ever been. We were not just mother and daughter but best friends as well. It was one of the best days of our life together at least for me.
