Three months or so past and mom,dad and I were invited up to uncle John’s, already there was auntie Kim’s s*s ter, Karen and her husband Richard, uncle John’s best friend.
“Were having a baby” anounced John and Kim together, once we all had drinks

Karen nudged me “Come and help me with the food,” she said
Once in the kitchen she turned to me “Thank you for helping my little s*s, it means a lot to her to finally get pregnant”
I was a bit flabbergasted to think what I had done but to be thanked for doing it from someone else was another matter.
