‘Awwww is the baby going to cry.’ The bully pushed the frail looking kid against the locker for a third time. ‘Now I’m only going to give you one more chance. Either give me the damn money or get ready to have to eat through a straw for the rest of your life’
The kid reached into his pocket and pulled out the money. The bully smiled and took the money from the kids shaking hands. ‘Well see that wasn’t so….what the hell is this!’ the bully showed him the three dollars he had collected. ‘I said its 5 dollars a day and nothing less. Now I have to teach you a lesson.’ The kid looked up in fear as the bully raised his fist. Raising his hands to protect himself the kid waited for the fist to smash him into the locker. But it never came. Looking up the kid was surprised to find that someone else was now standing in front of him and was holding his money to his face.
‘I believe this is yours.’ The stranger put the money into the kid’s shirt pocket and stepped over the now unconscious bully. ‘You should be more careful, you can’t expect others to always protect you.’ With that he walked around the corner and out of sight. Still slightly shaken, the kid moved away from the lockers and slowly made his way to class.

‘That was stupid of me, I shouldn’t have gotten involved. My chances of staying under the radar just fell to shit. Oh well, luckily there weren’t that many people there’ Kie thought as he kept walking down the hall. He had just transferred from a different high school because he had gotten into too many fights. And what do ya know, he just got in another before he had even checked in. Which it wasnt much of a fight, oh well.
He opened the door and walked into the office. ‘Well at least they have some talent here,’ he thought after looking over the artwork hanging in random locations all across the room. Looking at the tags, he was suppressed to find the same person did them all.
‘Sir, can I help you’ He turned around and walked up to the counter. The receptionist tapped her finger against the desk looking slightly agitated. ‘What’s wrong with her, did she not get her morning coffee or something’ he thought as he nodded and started explaining about how he was a new student and needed his schedule. He had been looking around the room when he had said it but then after a moment of silence he looked back at her and realized she wasn’t even paying attention to him. Instead she seemed to be looking at a male teacher across the room that was busily adjusting papers here and there.
Noticing he was there once again she looked at Kie annoyed and simply said ‘One moment’ before walking over to the teacher and whispering something in his ear before walking into the back of the office and shutting the door. The male teacher looked around and noticed Kie’s stare and look of amusement. Kie nodded and went over to the couches along the wall and sat watching the male teacher go into the back office and close the door. ‘I see, so she just didn’t get her cream in her coffee.’ He smiled to himself. This was certainly going to be an interesting school.

After waiting for a half an hour, the male teacher walked out, straitened his tie, and left the office with a smile on his face. A couple minutes later the other half followed. She waved him over as she took a seat. He made his way to her and she handed him a schedule and a packet full of information. All the while he still had a huge grin plastered on his face.
‘Well you seem happy to be here, have a nice day’ she smiled at him and went back to working on school stuff.
‘Seems as though you will to.’ He winked at her when she looked up and left her with a case of slack jaw.
Coming back the way he came in he notice that the idiot from earlier had finally picked himself off the ground and left. He hadn’t really meant to hit him that hard but after all the frustration of having to move, he needed someone to take his anger out on.
Looking at his schedule, Kie noticed that they had put him in all advanced placement courses. ‘Oh so the bastards think that if I have so much work I cant get into trouble. Well they just screwed themselves thinking that.’ Looking around, he noticed all the rooms had a code depending on where they were located. The first number was building, the second was floor, the third showed if the door was inside the hall our outside on the building, and the last number was the room number.
‘Oh so they were also clever enough to put my classes so close together, its less likely I would run into someone to get into a fight with. I bet they think they are so fucking clever.’ He finally found his classroom. ‘Ok remember, just stay calm, don’t let anything get to you, and WHATEVER YOU DO DONT THINK ABOUT GIRLS’. Girls had been getting him into trouble, every time a girl talked to him, their boyfriends would get pissed and of course, that led to them getting their asses stomped. ‘Ill be fine, yea yea YEA lets do this’ He tapped on the door three times and waited to be let in. No point in interrupting the teacher and pissing them off.
After a moment the doorknob turned and an attractive blond opened the door. ‘Wouldn’t you know their would be a hot girl in my class, dammit…. damn she has nice boobs’ He smiled at her and pointed to his schedule and mouthed new student. She smiled back and opened the door wide for him. He walked in slowly looking around. Every eye in the classroom was on him. ‘Well that’s weird, most people would kill to have a seat like this. Hmm I wonder why no one has….’ Looking up, he noticed the girl from the door was standing in front of him.
‘Can I see your schedule?’ He handed it to her. She looked over it and then handed it back to him. ‘Well welcome Kie Soto. I’m Miss Les (the shock on his face was quite easy to see) would you please stand up and say a little bit about yourself.’
The room was completely silent. He looked around and then stood. ‘My name is Kie Soto. I was born in Japan and moved to the US when I was 4. I hate English and prefer to be left alone.’ He sat down once again and stared into the eyes of Miss Les who still had that beautiful smile on her face.
‘Well, I love Japan and everyone hates English class so I’m sure you will get along fine with everyone.’ She turned and walked towards the front of the class.
‘Did I not just say I want to be left alone’ He thought as he looked as her swaying ass as she walked. ‘But I wouldn’t mind getting to know her a little better’
Class was a bore. Even though these were advanced placement classes, he felt as if he had done this three years before. Each class had something special about it. First period was definitely Miss Les with her bright blue eyes, long strait blond hair, cute soft face, and that nice athletic body, ‘whoa better not keep on that subject’ he thought. His second period was gym. All they seemed to do in that class was play basketball or football. Neither which really interested him but since football allowed you to hit someone really hard without it hurting them, what the hell right. Third period was once again a boring class. AP Trigonometry. I mean how stupid are these people. This is what they call a top of the line school. Please my mother can teach better than this. Thinking about his mother brought him grief. His mind flashed about the accident. The only reason he was in school was because she had died. She had always taught him to go for the highest goal so he did. He learned all she knew and more. And then she died. Ever since his father made him go to school, saying that he needed some outside influence. Actually it was just that his dad was American and hadn’t been raised up highly educated as his mother was being Japanese. Although he might not have been as knowledgeable, he had a good heart and smart wits. That is how he owns his own company.
The end of class bell raised him from his thoughts and he gathered his belongings. As he walked to his next period (which was once again very close) he couldn’t stop thinking about his mother which put him in a bad mood. ‘Guess ill have to hit the old bag a couple times when I get home. He walked in and took a seat nearest to the back corner as he could find. He stood there starring at nothing in particular until an unexpected group of people walked in. First came the guy whose ass he had saved earlier. But then she came in. All movement around the room seemed to freeze as they locked eyes. ‘Oh shit, I bet she knows its me who was looking at her earlier, oh shit oh shit, WELL DAMMIT STOP LOOKING AT HER’ It took a lot of effort to break the starring contest but once he did he once again started to stare into nothing.
She took a seat in the middle of the back row leaving a seat in-between them. Even though she wasn’t looking, Kie still felt like he was being stared down by her. Shaking his head to clear his thoughts, the seat to his right was taken by the little guy he had seen earlier. Kie could tell he was about to say something without even looking at him.
‘Hi there, thanks a lot for your help earlier. John is such a jerk. He got what was coming to him.’ The smile on his face dimmed some when he realized that Kie was still starring into space. ‘Heelllo’ Kie looked at him without interest. ‘The name’s Aaron, nice ta meet cha’ He held out his hands but Kie just stared at it a moment before turning and looking at the teacher who had now began to do role call.
After what seemed like forever, the final bell range and Kie escaped from English and the mental stare down of that girl. Once again he couldn’t understand how these people were so stupid. But at least he did find out her name. Rei, the name fit her. Also the male and female gym classes were going to be doing activities together now so they could have competitions. ‘This means ill get to see her more. I wonder what she is like’ He kept pondering as he made his way home.
The house his father had gotten after he had to switch schools wasn’t half bad. The first time he had moved had almost killed him. He didn’t want to leave the place he had so many fond memories of his mother in. But in the end he did. Now he moved so often it didn’t bother him. Every time he got to a half decent school his father would need to move on business and every time his father got to that new place he got into to many fights and they had to move to another school area. It just kept going in a non-ending circle. This was his 8th school. It wasn’t really his fault. Fights just seemed to draw to him like a magnet.
He pulled his keys out of his pocket and opened the door. Although he was now 18 and in the 12th grade, he still didn’t have a car key to add to his collection of house keys he had got over time. Although his father owned a company, he wasn’t filthy rich, just enough to make ends meet and have a nice bit left over for enjoyable things. But sadly, no car.

‘AHHH’ Kie woke up with a start. He had fallen asleep in class. ‘And its only my second day, what am I going to do for the rest of the year.’ he thought to himself before looking up into the cold blue eyes of Rei. They stared at each other for what seemed like hours.
‘Class is over, I just thought I would tell you.’ she turned and left leaving him awestruck.
‘Wow even her voice is beautiful.’ he smiled to himself at the thought and once again started the long walk home. Rei seemed to occupy his thoughts all the time now. ‘What is so amazing about her, although she is very beautiful and I have seen her naked, what is it’ he looked ahead to a group of children playing with a ball. ‘I just can’t get her out of my head, I need to find some reason to talk to her.’ As Kie walked by, one of the children hit the ball into the street.

He didn’t know what he could do but he knew that that car was closer to him. The girl just stood there like a deer caught in the headlights. ‘Move girl move!’ He shouted. She just stared at the car. It was like everything was in slow motion. Except for him. The car was now only a foot or two away from her. The look of fear was now all over her face. ‘Dammit I wont let this be on my conscious.’ He had finally reached the car but the car had also reached the girl. Putting every bit of power he had into one attack he rammed into the vehicle as hard as he could. The car shot off the ground and into a parked car on the side of the street sporting a huge dent in the ‘dent resistant’ doors.
Kie looked at his arm that had taken the full force. ‘Damn its dislocated, aye that smarts’ he turned at looked at the girl who hadn’t moved an inch except for her eyes looking everywhere while a steady stream of tears fell down her cheeks. ‘Are you ok?’ He got down on her knees and said it again. This time she jumped into his arms(getting a small wince from Kie) and starting crying so hard his shirt was soaked within a couple of seconds.
‘LIZ!’ he turned around meeting the owner of the voice. ‘Oh and of course it would have to be Rei, dammit why do all thing
s in this crazy world have to be connected.’ he muttered as Rei ran over to him and grabbed Liz out of his arms, hugging her tight enough to choke the poor child. He smiled and turned to leave. ‘And where do you think your going.’ He stopped without turning around.
‘A little place I like to call home’ for now that is. He frowned at this thought before starting to walk again. She ran up to him with Liz still in a death grip.
‘I don’t know how I can thank you for saving my sister today.’ He stopped and thought for a moment.
‘Ahh don’t worry about it, just keep her off the street next time.’ he smiled before continuing to walk away. He wasn’t going to let her see how much his arm was hurting. After walking around the corner he fell down against a building and moaned in pain. Slowly he moved his good arm over to his bad one and in a quick movement, popped his arm back into joint. It took all the willpower he had not to scream out in pain. Tears rolled down his eyes as he lifted his self off the ground and slowly made his way home. Hoping all the time that this day would end sooner.

When he got home he found his dad asleep on the couch and a bottle of pills lying next to him. After the accident his father complained of not being able to sleep so the doctor gave him some sleeping pills. But now he used them every night and sometimes in the day.
Kie walked down the hall into the bathroom and undressed. He looked at his shoulder in the full-length mirror. ‘Ouch ouch ouch’ he said every time he prodded his shoulder. He stood up and looked at the mirror. His short spiky blond hair was still up in its normal spiky way. His face was muscular but rounded off. His muscles all over were defined like that of a lightweight boxer. It was good though, he didn’t want all those muscles slowing him down anyways. ‘But what was up with that car. I know it couldn’t have been that late. I was only expecting it to maybe go on two wheels and barely miss her. Instead the fucking thing flies into a parked car. Strange’. He started the shower and got in washing away the worries from that day.
After he had brushed his teeth, combed his hair, and took a nice long piss, Kie went into his bedroom and laid down looking through his window at the stars that were barely visible because of the streetlights. He clapped twice, cutting off his lights and continued to stare out the window. Thoughts of Rei once again found themselves into his head. ‘She looked so worried about her sister. So I guess she isn’t as cold hearted as she looks.’ He smiled at this thought and also realized that he was sporting a huge boner. ‘Damn, it sucks not having a girlfriend.’ He pulled his 8 in. erection out of his boxers and started slowly stroking his shaft.
