Fuck that, I hung the phone clean up on her ass with no hesitation. She called back at least twice and let it go to voice mail both times. Quisha’s ass was persistant with the bullshit and in order to keep from hearing mom and dad’s mouth about how I should do this and that for her, I picked up on the second ring again. Just when I was about to form my mouth to cuss her smooth the fuck out, I heard a familiar sweet little voice that always calmed down.

“Thank…” I hung up the phone on her in mid-sentence, set my alarm and went back to sleep. At exactly 12:15 pm, I woke up, got out of bed and headed for the shower to get ready. Afterwards, I took care of my oral hygiene, grabbed my clothes, phone and keys and headed out the door. At 12:30 I pulled up to Quisha’s in my red Charger to pick up Natasha. I opened up the car door stepped out and waited for her to come out. She ran to me and jumped on me. “Uncle Ramonnnnnn! YAY” I spinned her around twice and let her into the car. I turned my back to the window and covered it up so she couldn’t see me flip her mom the bird. “I got yo ass.” As soon as I turned around and headed back to the car, I heard a man’s voice tell her fuck that weak ass nigga. I started to walk and heard Quisha arguing with him. Even though she and I sometimes disagreed, she wouldn’t let too many niggas say anything but my guess is she didn’t hear him correctly. I turned back around and took off my shades to see this brolic ass Young Jeezy wanna be.

“Fuck..yo..weak..ass.” This must’ve been Ricky and he was clearly drunk to come talking shit to me. I opened the car and told Natasha to keep it locked and that I would be back in about five minutes and would get her there on time. After she locked the door and smiled I made my way into the house I got in his face.
“You say somethin?”
“Fuck…yo….weak..ass.” Yea this nigga didn’t know who he was fuckin with.
“Aye, Quisha tell this cunt ass nigga to keep his dick sucker closed before I kick start his windpipe and piss down his throat.” He attempted to grab me and he met a foot to the face. As he started to stagger backwards, I grabbed him and kneed him repeatedly to the stomach and face before I pushed him down and started to hammer fist his face. As he tried to struggle, I ended up putting him in an armbar close to pulling his bone out the socket.
“RAY! STOP! HE’S drunk!”
“I don’t give a fuck if this hoe ass motha fucka was a high priest and drunk off Jesus juice, you better tell him to fall the fuck back.” I pulled my knife that I kept on me and put it close to his throat.
“Fuck with me again and I’ll end yo ass hoe. Got me?” Quisha managed to pull me off of him and I left without saying a word to her. I put my sunglasses back on and a fake smile and headed back to my car and got in.
“You ready princess?”
“Mmmhhmmm,” she said with a beaming smile that instantly calmed me down.
I cranked up the car and put in gear as I made sure she was buckled up. As the radio station came back from commercial break, “Single Ladies” by Beyonce came on. As much as I didn’t like that song, and would never be caught dead bumpin it in my ride or listening to it period it was one of Natasha’s favorite songs and it made me laugh to hear her sing. Most of the time when we rode we listened to a combination of shit liked and some of what I did, it didn’t bother me. She was happy. She gave me directions to the studio where her lessons were held. I wasn’t the ballet or dance type but I’m happy to see her do something positive. We pulled up and I opened the door to let her out. She got out and looked back at me with her brown eyes and said, “You’re not gonna come watch me?”
“Nah sweetheart, I gotta try to make the gym for my fight next weekend.”
“But no one is here with me but you. Plleeeeasseeeee?” Natasha had gotten me again. I turned off the engine got out of the car and came into the studio to have a seat and watch. I walked into a building full of single moms and some attractive older women but most of them were looking for fathers for their k**s and I wasn’t down for that shit. I took a seat in the front and sat down to watch her warm up. I didn’t see a teacher so I wasn’t too sure she was going to dance. I leaned back as far as I could in the chair and closed my eyes until my phone rang. I excused myself to answer it. It was my trainer telling me about what I missed at the gym and rescheduling a session with me to make sure I was ready. I hated missing sessions and the ones I usually missed had all the good shit.
