Eventually, he convinced her it didn't matter if he couldn't get in with her. Earlier, when Tommy introduced himself, he had promised her a full demonstration. Sherry knew the young man's type and figured, at the very least, this would be amusing.
She climbed out of her chair, and as she headed his way, Tommy gave her an exaggerated, hand-waving, game show presentation of her brand-new deluxe hot tub! Sherry couldn't help but smile at his display as he greeted her with a big grin and began his demonstration. First, he showed her how the new swingarm design, lightweight top, could easily be opened and closed with one hand.
Next, he brought her attention to the ergonomically placed control console, and invitingly held out his hand; Sherry offered her hand without hesitation. The next afternoon, she returned from running errands and grocery shopping, anxious to get in her new tub.
