Halloween Costumes

"Hello?" I answered the phone.
"Hey, John!" Michelle was on the other end. "I think I may be able to come
up with some very creative costumes for us. You want in?"
"Sure," I replied, trusting her judgment. For the last five years, since
8th grade, we've been teaming up for our Halloween costumes. Michelle (I
call her Shelly) has designed the costume, and done all the makeup and
prosthetics. My job has always been lifelike motion.
In eighth grade, I built a simple robot, but mechanically it was quite
impressive. It moved exactly like a cat, though I had no idea how to make
it look like one. Shelly noticed my talent for such things, and recruited
me to help with her costume. In return, she'd do mine. We've been the hits
of our Halloween parties ever since.
That first year, we made simple fairy costumes that everyone absolutely
LOVED! She made us some medieval clothing, prosthetic ears, and wings. She
told me my job was giving the wings lifelike motion.
I created a simple motor and put tiny wires inside the wings. The motor,
when running, made the wings flap and also tugged the wires to make them
ripple naturally. I connected the motor to a portable heart-rate monitor
and also to a small remote control I hid in our palms, and she covered with
latex. Anytime our pulse went above a certain level or we triggered the
palm switch, the motor ran. We were realistic-looking fairies whose wings
flapped when we were excited or at will.
The next year, we were robots. She made simple costumes, essentially suits
of armor, which I applied numerous small devices to. By the time we went to
the party that year, we had "super hearing," "super vision" (both thanks to
small cameras and listening devices from Radio Shack), tons of small lights
and displays, and "attachments" that moved around all over our bodies. I
even brought a couple of computer monitors and everything we saw was
displayed on the screens we set up near the punchbowl, with odd comments and
typical "robot" views as seen in movies. This got a lot of laughs,
especially when we had to go to the restrooms. We anticipated the need, and
she built robotic-looking prosthetic genitalia for our robot forms. The
"plumbing" worked, and she even urinated while standing up.
After that, we were Centaurs. That one was hard, because essentially it was
a horse's body that was operated by a bicycle, and it was hard to get the
hang of and keep standing. We had to practice for weeks before the party.
Thank GOD there were no stairs. Engineering realistic muscles wasn't any
small task, either.
Our junior year, we didn't even attend the party. I built two robots in the
shape of our bodies, but 3 feet tall. They were radio controlled and moved
exactly like we do. We sent them and controlled them from "virtual reality"
style booths I built. Stepping in there was like stepping into a world of
giants, and to this day no one knows how it was possible. We still use the
robots for pranks.
This was our senior year, and we'd been wracking out brains trying to come
up with an idea that would top ALL of our past costumes, and she wanted to
truly attend the party rather than use robots. Therefore, really exotic
creatures were out of the question. I had suggested making her into a
Medusa and me into a Minotaur, but she declined, because other students had
done that in the past, though not as well as we'd have done it.
Our experiences had taught us a lot, and we had made several fortunes
because of the inventions that we had built in the medical prostheses and
biotech research fields. I had created devices that interacted with the
nervous system to give sensation in prosthetic attachments, so formerly
disabled children were running and grasping items with prosthetic limbs.
Sight has been restored to some of the blind (as long as only the eyes were
damaged, not the nerve tissue), and many deaf people are able to hear. But
I'm digressing. It just think it's cool that I'm responsible for making
prosthetic limbs that you can even tickle.
Most of our money, however, was coming from the movie industry.
Anyway, when Shelly told me that she may have a costume that would do, I
didn't ask any questions, except, "What do I need to get?"
"Pick up a very muscular male mannequin. I already have the rest."
"Done," I told her, and hung up.
A few hours later, I was at her house. I gave her a kiss (we started dating
right after the fairy costumes, and we've been inseparable since.) Beside
her was a plaster duplicate of herself. We'd been making body casts of
ourselves periodically for fitting purposes. She was making a mold of her
body from the shoulders to the upper thigh.
"Start making a mold of that thing's upper body, will you?" said Shelly. I
got to work making a mold of the mannequin's upper body, and asked her what
the idea was.
"Well, I'm going to be a man. I've been studying your work, and I've got
yours finished, so it's a surprise. But I needed help with mine."
Two days later, I had built her a new chest and arms, with gloves that she
could feel all over. Hiding her breasts wasn't easy, so we found it easier
to actually use her OWN nipples and poke them out of the suit, so she was
male pecks with female nipples. The muscular motion was perfect - more than
perfect. She was as strong as a man would be with that body, because I used
motors to move it. The arms and other muscles were actually a hollow
independent robot that followed the motions of the woman inside.
We built a bottom half for her, and when completed she was almost a foot
taller, very muscular, and hung like a horse. I made it fully functional,
from urination to stiffening whenever she moistens inside. I connected it
to a dildo inside her, so that sensations would carry. Feeling creative, I
put a sensor inside the dildo to detect strong muscle contractions. Upon

She made prosthetic face attachments to make her look more masculine, and I
designed a voice-altering device that went on her neck. When Shelly covered

"I'll put you in your costume right before the party. It's a surprise," the
large man that was my girlfriend informed me. I couldn't get used to Shelly
being taller than I was.
"I'm so glad we got your costume finished with three weeks to go. Now we
can relax," I told her... him... whatever.
I sat there at the workbench and looked at her standing next to my body
double. Beside Shelly, I looked small and weak. My short hair looked
ridiculous next to the man with Shelly's long locks. I was built like a
toothpick in comparison, and my 5'9" frame, while average, was diminutive
when compared to Shelly's new 6'6" stature.
Shelly swaggered around the room (I had built it to walk that way to
compensate for Shelly's dainty gait) looking at herself from various poses.
She looked rugged because of the fake beard stubble and bushy eyebrows, and
I actually felt myself getting intimidated by her. When you're girlfriend
is more "manly" than you are, it messes with your head. Her beautiful

through those pecks. I had to admit that it would be amusing if she went
without a shirt at the party. I doubt anyone would suspect that she was

Fortunately, she had me help her out of the costume a few moments later.

Three weeks can fly sometimes. I told her I needed a quick break before
donning mine.
"I don't want you to know what your costume is until you're in it," she
said, while I drank a cup of coffee. "You should pass out any second now."
"Huh?" I questioned, and noticed the funny taste in my mouth. She drugged
me.
"Don't worry," she told me before I passed out, "I just wanted to surprise
you."

I awoke with a mild headache. I was lying on the workbench, and Shelly was
standing over me in her costume. "I see you're awake, Sweetie. Tell me
what you think."
I sat up, and realized that she'd done a good job. I had thought I would be
a man more her size, but I was dead wrong. I was a woman. I recognized it
as being her body, but obviously a few inches shorter. I reached down and
felt my breasts. I could really feel them! They were more sensitive than I
would have imagined. To my surprise, they hardened when I started touching
them. I touched my new genitalia, to find that it was actually wet and felt
NOTHING like my usual equipment. "Oh!" I moaned, as I started to get hot.
"Stop that!" she smacked my hand away, and I returned to my senses.
"How did you do this?" I asked. I couldn't feel any of the telltale signs
of prosthetics, and even my hair appeared to be really attached. My face
was not quite mine, but more like a female version of mine. I tugged on a
hair, and saw that it was attached to a real follicle.
"Congratulations. You currently inhabit the first completely
biotechnological android. Your mind is in your normal body, hidden away so
you don't freak out." She handed me a notebook, which I leafed through.
The entire design was basically that of the android from "Bicentennial Man,"
but of course it was a female version. This would revolutionize modern
medicine, and we were going to be even wealthier.
"Let's get dressed to go," said Shelly, pulling out a collection of shopping
bags.
I giggled, and we prepared.

We arrived at the Halloween party, and everyone's jaw dropped as we entered.
Shelly was wearing a simple black tux, and I was dressed to kill. A
violet teddy, a violet low-cut dress that just barely covered the teddy,
stockings, a garter belt, and 4-inch pumps (I had no trouble walking,
because she designed my body to fit them. It was quite a while before
anyone realized who we were.
Again, we were the hit of the party. Our classmates couldn't really "get"
that she was really female and I was really male, so we didn't have any
problems. She and I were used to being in character as well as costume, so
we played the part. I was dancing with men and women, while Shelly was
having trouble not crushing the women who surrounded her, drooling.
Halfway through the night, the power flickered. I collapsed to the floor,
and fought to remain conscious as hard as I could. After a few seconds, the
spell passed.
"Shelly, what happened?" I asked her as she stood over me trying to keep me
conscious.
"I don't really know. You're okay, right?"
I nodded the affirmative and we forgot the incident.
Several hours and 18 exhausted dance partners later, the party ended.
That's when I realized that I wasn't even remotely worn out. "Does this
thing need sleep?" I asked Shellie while she drove us to the lab.
"Actually, no, but I programmed it to sleep if you try hard enough, but
you'll wake up at the drop of a hat and you'll never have to suffer from a
lack of it. You also won't age in there," she informed me.
We got to the lab, and went to remove her costume. An hour and a half
later, my beautiful Shelly was back, and still taller than me. "Let's get
you out of there," She said
I followed her to the corner, where she pushed a couple tiles and a panel
opened. Inside was a room, with a table that I judged to me a horizontal
version of the "phone booth" virtual reality system I'd created a couple
years ago for the robots.
I noticed that the pulse indicator was flat-lined. I screamed and fainted,
realizing that I was dead.
Shelly revived me an unknown time later. "John, the power flicker was a
major power surge, burning out the machine and the connection between your
android body and your real one. Only your will power kept you alive, by
'pulling' your consciousness into your current body. Your male body is
dead, and I can't revive it."
I was horrified, but not at my lost manhood. What would we tell our
parents?
