Anna felt bad about abandoning Jordan like that. She did think that they
would be able to have a spa day together. She had no clue they would
separate them like this.
As she walked with her stylist she confided in her. "My sister is just a
little nervous about who works on her hair, and face. We're new around
here and she just doesn't want anything real drastic done," Anna
explained. "Could you just pass that information along to her stylist so
that she'll feel a little more relieved?"
The woman waved over to the receptionist to get her attention and then
spoke loudly, "Make sure the sister doesn't get anything too extreme,
let Heather know."
Heather had just seated Jordan in the hair washing station and was
putting an apron around his neck. The chair he was sitting in was being
lowered to the height of the sink behind him. Heather dipped the chair
back and soon Jordan could feel his hair being run under the water from
the sink. As Heather started washing his hair, he heard another voice
talking to Heather.
"The sister said nothing too extreme for her," the receptionist said.
"Not to worry. This one is going to be gorgeous when I'm through with
her."
Jordan felt helpless and couldn't do anything. This was all unknown
territory for him.
The hair wash was relaxing though. Even though the shampoo did smell a
little girly.
"So where are you from?" Heather asked. It was hard for Jordan to hear
at first with the running water but then she started lathering up the
shampoo, she had shut the water down.
Jordan cleared his throat and remembered to use a soft whispery woman's
voice when talking.
"My sister and I are from the east coast," he replied in a voice that he
was really proud of.
"Did you move out this way with just your sister?" Heather continued to
ask.
"Yes, I got a job at a big manufacturing plant, I start tomorrow morning
and my wif..eh sister moved with me for a change of pace," he replied
almost blowing his cover.
"That's great! Two single women in a new state starting new lives. Ya
know, There are a lot of rich single men in this area," Heather
explained.
It was then that Jordan realized he was in deep. By lying with a spur of
the moment back story, he just revealed that himself and his "sister"
were two single women starting over. He also realized that he was
passing as a woman flawlessly.
Heather again started the water and began to wash the shampoo out of his
hair.
Once all the shampoo was out, Heather squeezed the water from his hair.
"I know what I'm going to do," Heather said out of the blue.
Jordan leaned his head forward a little bit to try and make eye contact
with Heather.
"huh?" was all Jordan could get out.
"For your first day of work, I'm going to do something really special,"
Heather said excitedly.
Jordan tried to interupt her giddyness, "Oh no, please I just want a
basic style," He pleaded in his whispery voice.
Heather was hearing nothing Jordan was saying and was in her own little
world.
"You are going to love this," she replied.
"Oh no! nothing I say matters to this woman," Was all that ran through
Jordan's mind as Heather raised the reclined seat and wrapped a towel
turban style around Jordan's wet hair.
Another salon specialist came over and Heather stopped her.
"Hi Deena? Could you get a number 11 mix ready. I want to get that set
and then you can do some work on her face as it sits," She explained.
Jordan just watched the two talk. The conversation was gibberish to him,
but he knew it didn't sound good for him.
"Sure, come with me miss," she said as Heather helped Jordan out of the
chair.
Jordan looked around the salon. "Can I find my sister first, I want to
ask her something?" Jordan started to panic.
"She's probably in the middle of her cut and wash, we can't bother her
now," Deena said as Jordan followed the woman into another part of the
salon. She led Jordan to another chair just like the other one and again
started adjusting the height.
"Besides, don't you want to surprise her with your fabulous new look
once it's all done," she continued.
"New look?" Jordan muttered.
Deena turned her back to him as she started doing some work on a counter
top near the sink. She grabbed some plastic gloves and put them over her
hands. Then Heather reappeared in front of Jordan also wearing plastic
gloves.
The two had their backs to Jordan for a few minutes and were just making
small talk about one of the "Housewives" shows that was on the previous
night. They were still doing something on the counter. Finally they
turned around and Heather brought a dish over with some kind of mixture
in it.
She again lowered the chair back into a sink and started putting the
mixture into his hair.
"Another shampoo?" Jordan thought. "But, ewww this one wasn't flowery at
all, it really stinks." He continued to panic as Heather continued to
put the concoction into his hair.
Jordan closed his eyes hard as the smell was really getting to him.
He managed to open his eyes for a minute when he noticed a sign on the
wall closest to him that read "Dye Station"
His heart sunk.
Some time had passed and Anna had just finished having her hair cut,
washed and styled. She got a 1/2 inch cut off the ends and instead of
sitting on her shoulders, it stopped just above the shoulder. She looked
fabulous and she loved it.
She hadn't seen her husband for awhile.
As she followed the nail specialist to the nail station she decided to
ask. "Is my sister somewhere close? I havn't seen her in awhile. I just
want to say hi."
"Oh sure, I believe she is under the hair dryer," the woman said
pleasantly and changed directions and walked back towards the hair
dryers.
The woman had lead Anna straight to the dryer that her husband was
under.
Only it didn't look like her husband, actually she really couldn't make
him out at all. He had his eyes closed. On his face was a face full of a
white paste like mask that the woman explained was softening his skin.
His hair was under the dryer and reached just above his closed eyes so
she couldn't peek at his hair.
"She looks so peaceful," the specialist said. "Comon, let's get started
on those nails," she said as she led Anna back to her station.
Anna was happy to have seen Jordan, although she would have liked it
better if she was able to talk to him, but seeing him at least set her
mind at ease that he wasn't getting anything too extreme.
A little while later Jordan was awakened by the sound of the hair dryer
going off. He opened his eyes just as they were tilting the heating
element off of his head.
"Ok, gorgeous, this way." Heather led Jordan to another room and again
sat him down at another chair. This time she didn't tilt the chair back
or adjust the height, she just started working on his hair.
She removed something that was covering his hair and he felt all his
hair fall down to his shoulders.
He was still a little groggy from just waking up. He was relieved that
they didn't cut his hair and it was still long as he felt it drop to his
shoulders.
"Ok, oh honey, you are going to love this," Heather said as she started
working his hair. She had scissors in one hand and a styling brush in
the other and Jordan felt her doing a lot with his hair.
After about a half hour she announced that she was done.
Jordan saw that he wasn't facing the mirror and tried to turn the chair
to face it, but Heather stopped it.
"Not so fast, Deena still has to remove your mask from your face and do
some facial work there, just get comfortable," She said as she walked
out.
Jordan was alone in the room for only a second and considered running
out but then Deena appeared again.
"Ok, lets get this thing off you," she said as she started to peel the
mask from the top of his forehead and pull it down. It was really sticky
but it was removing nicely.
Deena adjusted the bottom of the chair and Jordan again felt like it was
leaning back. Then in a quick move Deena did pull the chair back.
Deena pulled over a side tray and wheeled over a little rolling chair
that was near the counter in the room.
Deena pulled a little lever on the bottom of the chair and the seat
rose. She adjusted it to where she was a little higher than Jordan's
face.
She then picked up a pair of tweezers and held them over Jordan's face.
"I'm just going to clean these babies up and thin them out a little,"
She explained.
Jordan opened his eyes wide. That is until Deena started plucking at his
brows.
Of course this is something that Jordan never had done before and it
hurt like hell.
"This is a nightmare, I'm going to wake up in my bed and everything is
going to be...OW!" Jordan flinched in mid thought as Deena pulled
another hair.
Some time later, Anna was having her last hand under the nail dryer.
Every once and awhile she would look around the room to see if she could
see her husband. Now they were a few hours into this salon trip and she
had only seen Jordan one time and that was about an hour and a half ago.
Here she was just about finished and she wondered if Jordan would finish
at the same time. She was excited to see him with a female style added
to his long black hair.
Anna heard a vibration from her phone. She fumbled with her free hand to
get it out of her purse. She didn't recognize the number, she hit the
answer key and then held the phone up to her ear.
"Hello?"
"Hello Mrs. Ross? This is Mr. Richardson at Ameribank. You interviewed
with us earlier this week?" the man on the other end of the phone
replied.
"OH yes. Hello," Anna replied.
"We would like to offer the position to you if you are still available,"
the man continued.
Anna's heart raced. "YEs! I'm available! That would be great! When would
I start?" she asked.
"We were hoping for Monday, unless you had another job that you had to
give notice with," the man said.
"No, Monday would be great! I'll see you then," Anna replied and then
hung up her phone dropping it back into her purse.
Just as she finished the conversation. The nail stylist told her that
her second hand had dried. She was finished.
Anna held her nails up and admired them. "They look fantastic! Thank
you!" she told the nail stylist.
Anna got up and walked over to the receptionist all the while trying to
spot Jordan.
She saw the woman at the desk was on the phone and she waited for her to
finish her conversation. So Anna looked around the room again to see if
she could see her husband.
She saw women under hairdryers, she saw other women getting thier nails
worked on.
She focused on some of the women's nails and how pretty they looked.
Then Anna focused on a woman approaching her from another room. "She was
very pretty" Anna thought. The woman was very attractive from affar.
She had long wavy, dirty blonde hair. Her face was flawless.
"Wait, I think I have that tshirt and those light blue jeans like what I
put Jordan in," Anna continued to think.
The woman's face was made up beautifully, she had a light foundation on
her face, A pink blush lipstick on her lips and her eyebrows thin and
arched.
Then Anna's heart raced as the woman got closer... "Oh my God," she
thought.
"Is it?" she continued to think.
WIthout saying anything, she mouthed, "Jordan?"
She thought as she stopped admiring the woman and quickly felt scared.
Now as the woman was close enough, Anna saw that it was in fact Jordan.
Only not as she had remembered him. He no longer had long black hair,
but a lighter dark blonde color.
Anna just stared with her mouth opened. His face, the man she remembered
was no longer masculine. His face was smooth, his lips were full and his
eyebrows were thin and arched.
"Oh my God, he's so mad," she thought.
Jordan indeed was mad and walked right up to Anna and whispered in her
ear. "Pay them and meet me outside," He said as he walked straight out
the salon door.
Anna fumbled through her purse for her debt card. She handed it to the
woman and the woman swipped it and gave it back.
The receptionist gave Anna a receipt and Anna took the card and receipt
and zippered them back into her purse and walked to the salon exit.
As she opened the door, there was Jordan, looking like a fresh out of
the salon beauitiful woman. Jordan had a cigarette up to his painted
lips leaning forward into a lighter that a taller guy in a buisness suit
was holding out for him. Once it was lit, Jordan exhaled the smoke and
in his female voice thanked the man.
Jordan turned towards the salon again and saw Anna standing there still
in shock.
"You started smoking again?" was all she could think to say.
He immediately turned around and walked towards the car.
Anna followed and unlocked the doors with the remote as Jordan was well
ahead of her.
Jordan sat in the car first and then Anna walked around to the driver
side, opened the door and sat down.
She put the keys in the ignition and started the car. Not once making
eye contact with Jordan. She knew he was going to explode any minute.
She watched him as he didn't look at her, but she turned her head
slightly as she saw his nails. They were made up and had french tips.
They looked like women's hands. He cracked the window and held his hand
holding the cigarette out the crack.
Anna pulled away from the curb and started driving home.
Immediately as they pulled off Joran started.
"Did you see what they did?" he said calmly.
Anna swallowed hard.
"Kind of," she replied.
That was Jordan's boiling point. They were passing an park and he told
Anna to pull over.
Anna did pull over into a parking spot in the park away from any other
cars.
When she stopped. Jordan said, "Look at me."
Anna turned the car off and adjusted herself in the driver's seat to
face Jordan. She finally saw a close up view of her feminized husband.
The woman at the salon gave him a complete beauty makeover. Including
plucked arched eyebrows, full body wave and a blonde dye job to his
hair. Because his hair was black, his hair ended up being a darker
blonde color, and it looked beautiful.
Jordan pulled back his hair that covered his ears and again yelled,
"They pierced my ears!"
"I didn't sign up for this!" he continued to scream. "I have to undo all
this at home and get ready for my job tomorrow. This is a nightmare, I'm
living a nightmare," he rambled on.
Anna finally spoke, "Calm down babe, it's not that bad."
Jordan again gave her a death glare. "This was supposed to be for a
Halloween costume, for one day, and they did all this," Jordan said as
he pointed to himself.
"When we agreed on this Halloween joke, I thought it was going to be
more of a guy in drag but they know it's a guy, we all have a laugh and
I change into my suit. This will take weeks to undo," he yelled.
"Babe, it'll be alright. This will be the joke and then once it's over
we'll spend all weekend getting your face back to normal and then Monday
you start over fresh," Anna explained.
Jordan still sat there fuming. But then started to whine, "How can I go
into work looking like this? I'm the supervisor. They're going to make
fun of me and never let up," Jordan continued.
"It's Halloween. We just took it to the next level," Anna started as she
held Jordan's hand.
"I will fix this, I promise. I'll buy you black hair dye and do it
myself. I'll fill in your eyebrows and remove the earrings, the holes
will close up, I promise. just trust me on this.
"This was just a wrench thrown into our plan, but it's going to be
alright."
Jordan sighed. He did trust Anna and even though he thinks the salon was
a bad idea, he knows Anna wouldn't do anything to hurt him.
"Aww, babe I trust you," he said.
Anna smiled at him and moved closer to him. "My sister is really hot!"
she said as she tried to break the tension.
Jordan smirked.
Anna pulled away quickly and said, "Now wait until you see what you'll
be wearing tomorrow."
Jordan gulped.
"Now we should go out to dinner and celebrate!" Anna exclaimed.
Jordan put a serious look on and faced his wife. "What the hell could we
have to celebrate?" he asked.
"I got the position at the bank!" Anna said with excitement.
Jordan's eyes grew wide. He leaned in to hug Anna, "Aww babe that's
great! Congratulations! We do need to celebrate!" He replied.
Anna got hopeful for a minute as she was ready to hit a restaurant with
him dressed like this.
"But we order take out!" he replied.
Anna frowned but laughed.
* * * * * * * * * * * * * *
Lady Gaga's "Poker Face" started blaring, interupting the couple's
sleep. Jordan opened his eyes facing his alarm clock. He put his hand
over the top where the buttons were as he had done many mornings before,
he turned the alarm clock off. He kept his hand there resting on the
clock as he couldn't believe it was morning.
He focused his eyes a little better and saw his hand. He was reminded
how he looked by the french tips on his nails.
"Oh god!" he thought.
Anna leaned over on top of him. "Happy Halloween babe!" and she kissed
his cheek and immediately jumped out of bed and into the bathroom.
Jordan saw that Anna had set the alarm for 6 am and he didn't have to be
at work until 8. She knew the job was real close, but She had warned him
the night before that they had to get an early start to get him ready
and into his costume. Jordan called it a costume, but Anna called it his
work clothes.
Jordan sat up in bed. He pulled back his now blonde hair back and looked
for his hair tie that was always on the table next to his bed.
The tie wasn't there. "ANNA?" Jordan called into the bathroom.
Anna came out from the bathroom bushing her teeth as she heard him call.
Anna immedieately saw his hand with a handful of hair for a ponytail.
"No hair tie today, the ponytail is going to ruin your style," Anna
explained. "That's why I wasn't going to have you wash it this morning.
I was just going to style it nice for you."
Jordan released the hair from his hands and it fell back down his
shouders.
Anna went back into the bathroom and Jordan heard her spit into the
sink. She came back out wiping her mouth with a towel.
"So, today's finally the day! After all this moving, this is really
exciting!" Anna tried pumping him up about starting his new job but
Jordan didn't have the same enthusiasm.
"Maybe I should call out sick and start next week," he said.
Anna put her arms around Jordan. "Babe, it's going to be alright.
Remember, this is just a joke. Once it's over, everyone will meet the
real you. It's Halloween! You are going to be the hit of the day," Anna
explained trying to coax him out of bed.
"Ok, but after today, this is the first and only time we do this. No
pleading or begging for one last time of me dressing in drag," Jordan
stipulated
"I promise. I love you as a man and I wouldn't want it any other way"
Anna replied.
Jordan moved his feet off the bed and onto the floor as he sat on his
side of the bed a few minutes.
"Now lets get started," Anna stated.
That's exactly how they spent the next hour and a half.
Anna had Jordan dress piece by piece in female clothing.
To fill his bra cups, Anna put two tube socks together in each cup and
bunched them together giving him the perfect rounded breast look.
For his dress clothes for work, Anna picked out a white blouse top, and
a tightly fit black skirt.
Jordan protested at the snugness.
"Everyone will think you're there for the little blonde secretary
position," Anna laughed.
Anna didn't have the time to train Jordan to walk in high heels
especially only dressing as a woman for one day, so she picked out a
woman's dress shoe with just a very low heel.
She also didn't go over the particulars of acting feminine with feminine
movements as this was only a costume and not a disguise. She did give
him a brief sitting lesson as he had to learn how to sit in a tight
skirt.
She made Jordan stand up and sit down a number of times. She kept
reminding him, "knees together."
Jordan did get the hang of it after a while and learned the art of
sitting as a woman.
Anna finally had him sit in front of her makeup mirror as Anna did his
makeup as she explained everything.
She started with the foundation. A little mascara, light color on his
cheeks, and a pink lipstick on his lips.
Anna combed his wavy hair and was satisfied with how her husband looked.
"You're ready!" she exclaimed as she faced Jordan towards the mirror.
Jordan couldn't believe how he looked at yesterday's salon trip but
today not only was he in full makeup and had his women's hairstyle, he
now had on a blouse and skirt. He looked amazing, and female.
Anna looked at the time. "Ok so you have about 20 minutes but you can
walk slow and have a cigarette." She frowned at him when she said this.
She knew this was stressful for him to do this, so she didn't mind him
smoking for today.
Anna also packed up some necessities in a clutch purse for him. She put
lipstick, and his cigarettes and a lighter, and his drivers license in
there.
"Now remember speak softly at first, throw everyone off and make them
believe this is who Jordan Ross is," Anna quickly threw in some last
minute advice for her feminized husband.
"Just have fun, and remember it's just a joke, everyone is going to
laugh with you about it."
Anna disappeared into the bedroom and came back out with a large
victoria's secret bag. "This is your male clothes in here. I have a mans
button down shirt, tie and shoes in here, for after lunch," Anna
explained and put the bad on the floor by the door.
Jordan deeply sighed. He was really nervous about this, but was also
excited to get to the job and start in his new position and meet
everyone.
"Ok babe, have a great first day! Call me later and let me know how
everything went," Anna said as she walked her husband to the door.
Along the way, Jordan grabbed a large Victoria's Secret bag that was on
the kitchen table.
Anna didn't kiss her husband goodbye so she wouldn't smear his makeup
but she gave him a tight hug.
"Don't worry about anything," she said.
"Easy for you to say, you dress like this all the time," he replied.
Anna walked him to the door. "Love you babe, call me."
"Love you too," Jordan replied and his walk to work dressed as a woman
was on the way.
Anna watched from the window as Jordan stood on the sidewalk and he
unzipped his purse. He pulled out his pack of cigarettes and pulled one
out of the pack. He pursed it in his lips and then brought out the
lighter and lit his cigarette.
He started walking to work.
Seconds after watching him turn the corner, the landline phone rang.
Anna went over to the receiver and checked the caller ID.
She saw that it read Jason.
Anna picked up the phone.
"Hey Jason!" she said.
"Hey Anna, how's our boy doing? Did I miss him already? I was about 10
minutes away and I thought he would want a ride into work," Jason
explained.
Anna smiled and laughed. "No, he left already."
"Aww, that sucks. Sorry this was the only chance I had to call this
week, I was so backed up with paper work that I pulled 12 hour shifts
all week," Jason explained.
Well, tell me, how was he? Nervous?" he asked.
Again Anna laughed. "He was really nervous, but not only about the job,
but about how he was dressed," Anna explained.
The phone was silent for a minute as Jason tried to understand what Anna
meant.
"How come? How was he dressed?" he asked.
"Well seeing as it was his first day and it landed on Halloween, I had
Jordan dress in a costume, you know, as a gag," Anna explained.
Again the phone was silent until Jason started saying, "NO NO NO NO NO!"
Anna got scared. "What's wrong?"
"No, you didn't, did you? Oh my God! This is bad. The company frowns
upon Halloween. There's a no costume policy, the president of the
operations is strict on it. He can't be joked with and he's definitely
not playful about this kind of stuff. He'll fire Jordan on the spot,"
Jason explained.
"Oh no!" Anna's heart started to hurt. Well, I'll call his cell and tell
him to come back home right away. Hold on while I get my cell."Anna said
as she fumbled for her cell phone as she was nervous about this now.
Anna dialed Jordan's number on her phone and suddenly she heard Jordan's
ringer go off. She looked in the direction of the ringing and sure
enough, there was Jordan's cell phone left on the counter.
"OH NO!" Anna said into the phone.
"What?" Jason replied.
"I didn't put his cell phone in his purse when I sent him off," Anna
replied then she realized what she had just said to Jason.
"Wait, his what?" he replied.
Anna swallowed hard. "I thought it would be funny if he showed up for
work dressed up as a woman, so after talking him into it, he did and
he's heading over there right now," Anna explained
"Oh my God, Oh my God OH my God, I have to get there and stop him. I'm
about 4 minutes out still," Jason explained.
"Well if you can get to the gate before he gets there, he has a change
of clothes, he would be able to slip into a bathroom and put his male
clothes on and...." As Anna was saying this she spotted the Victoria's
Secret bag that she put next to the door. She walked over to it and
looked inside seeing his male shirt, tie and shoes.
"I saw him take a Victoria's Secret bag, what was in it?" she thought.
Then Anna remembered that she had bought some new bras and panties and
perfume and left it in the Victoria's Secret bag on the kitchen table.
"That must be the bag he took", she thought.
"Uhhh Jason, you have to hurry."
