room or any assistants. It might be tricky to recruit an
anesthetist and a scrub nurse to help with my hobby. Pretty
much all I needed was a clean room.
As you see, the implant has a pacemaker battery, a
microchip controller, a tiny pump, and little fluid packs.
It's an ordinary device, though not as common as ones that
deliver only one medication. The battery has to be replaced
every five years, and the fluids topped off by hypodermic
injection from time to time. All I did was add a radio-
control circuit and reprogram the controller. You don't
have to be a rocket scientist for that. Or a brain surgeon
either, come to think of it.

This it the remote control. It's set on very low power, so
when you came to, and found yourself naked in a strange
room, and ran out, you passed out of range at the door.
When you're out of range, the unit puts a few toxins into
your bloodstream; your bowels and bladder let go and you
collapse in a heap of paralyzed pain. That's why you won't
leave. When you're in range the remote control can trigger
that effect or any of several others.
You may not remember how you got here. You were drugged and
abducted. It's easy. You're probably also wondering why
you. Well, why not you? You're young, attractive, happened
to be convenient to get, and we have no prior relationship.
The whole F.B.I. could be looking for you, but no one is
looking for me.
As of now, your life will be governed by six principles.
The first one is discomfort. The implant can apply pain up
to a point that would kill you. Did you know you can die of
pain? Before anesthetics, amputations often caused death
from pain. I plan to keep you at least uncomfortable at all
times.
The second principle is apprehension. Your fear of pain
might diminish with time, but I can amplify it: the
neurotransmitter for fear is known, too, it so happens, and
I can send you to the edge of insanity, or beyond, at the
touch of a button. I plan to keep you at least uncertain
and insecure at all times.
The third principle is subordination. This goes beyond mere
obedience and into complete and absolute submission. You
will learn to obey instructions promptly and cheerfully,
and you will never even try to escape, to call for help, or
otherwise to contravene my interests.
The fourth principle is pulchritude. You will do everything
in your power to present yourself as a beautiful, nubile,
highly-available girl. Think "slut." You will have access
to appropriate clothing, cosmetics, and so on. And, as I
said, I'm a surgeon.
The fifth principle is humiliation, especially but not
exclusively sexual. Your body orifices will be penetrated
by penises human, animal, and artificial. You will apply
your mouth to genital and excretory organs, male and
female, human and animal. You will consume lots of seminal
fluid, and always have some fresh on your face. You will
eat shit and drink piss, when I am in the mood, and learn
to keep it down. Your own excretions, of course, are under
my control. Your body will be tattooed, pierced, branded,
and otherwise modified. When not naked, you will dress in a
manner that will make you wish you were naked. And so on
and so forth.
The sixth principle is oddly called the Stockholm Syndrome.
You will develop a vast self-contempt, and come to feel
that you richly deserve all I have done or may do to you.
You will come to respect and love me although you still
fear me; that is, you will worship me, which is the
combination of love and fear. Hard to believe, isn't it? I
just arrange that your worst pain, your greatest fear, and
your deepest shame consistently occur when I am absent.
Your relief at my appearance and terror at my departure
will gradually develop into the psychosis I have described.
You can't avoid it, even though I tell you all about it in
advance. Does the name Pavlov ring a bell?
Soon you will cooperate fully and knowingly in your own
systematic degradation and dehumanization. You will become
an inanimate appliance-perhaps a piece of furniture if
you're lucky, a toilet if you're not-alternating, on good
days, with being an animal bitch, or maybe, at the very
peak of your aspiration, a near-human slave-slut. You will,
if called upon, help to capture and oppress others like
yourself, and dispose of the bodies of ones I get bored
with. Oh, yes, do try to make sure that I don't get bored
with you.
That's enough for you to think about for a while. Here's
