On the way to Daniel's house, Brad spied Sarah Little
walking toward his neighborhood and wondered if she was
coming to see Jimmy too. He really hoped she wasn't. The
incident at the mall the other day really freaked him out
and she reminded him of what happened to Craig that day. As
he approached the Daniel's front door, he was relieved to
see her cross the street and keep walking. He knocked on
the door and felt somewhat like a salesman, what with all
the door knocking today. The door opened and Jimmy stood
there with a vacant look on his face.
"Brad... Hi... Sorry, I can't work with you today, I'm
kinda busy here..."
Brad started to ease his way in. "That's okay, Jimmy. I
actually just wanted to chat with you. See, I..." Brad
trailed off when he saw a small figure standing in the room
behind Jimmy. His gaze whipped back to Jimmy. "What is SHE
doing here??!!"
Angela smiled at Brad as she waved from the living room.
"I'm here babysitting," Jimmy supplied helpfully. "And
Angela came over."
Angela motioned to Brad. "Come on back Brad, Daniel and I
are playing back here."
Brad looked back at Jimmy, who shrugged and sat on the
couch, pausing to pick up a magazine. Brad followed Angela
down the hall where she led him into Daniel's room.
Brad was surprised to find that by now the sight in front
of him didn't shock him. Daniel's room was now done in
white and now had a dresser with a large mirror on it
covered with hats and hair accessories as well as assorted
other knick knacks. There was also a large doll house in
the floor with several Barbie dolls lounging about in each
room. Seated on his bed, which was now covered with a
Barbie comforter, was Daniel and he looked more confused
now than he did earlier. Daniel didn't seem to have changed
any, to Brad's relief, but he did seem... younger. And he
held the Barbie that he had bought at the mall.
Angela smiled back at Brad. "Danny wanted me to come over
to play with Barbies." she explained. "He doesn't know too
many people to play with now that he's been... held back a
few grades."
Brad's stare shot daggers at Angela. "What are you talking
about, Angela?"
Angela pouted innocently. "Well, It seems poor Danny was
too young for the grade he was in. He's been moved back
down to the third grade where he belongs."
Daniel spoke at this point while nodding in assent. "I
couldn't understand what was going on today. I was really
sad..." Brad now was shocked to hear Daniel sounding really
young, but could now see that Daniel also looked smaller,
as if he was younger. He whirled on Angela. "Stop it
Angela! Give me my friends back!"
"Brad, maybe you should have been a better friend to them
and you'd still have them. I didn't see you coming to play
Barbie with Danny."
"That's because he plays baseball, not Barbie! Girls play
with Barbie! He's a boy!"
Angela Motioned back to Daniel. "Oh, Brad, are you sure
about that?"
Brad nearly fell over when he turned to look at Daniel.
Daniel's hair was now down to his tiny shoulders and was
very blonde. He could be considered really cute and he also
appeared to be really female. Daniel didn't seem to notice
that anything had changed and continued playing with her
Barbie doll.
Brad was gasping for air at this point. "Change him back!
Hear me? Change Daniel back now!!!"
Angela was considering the girl on the bed. "I don't think
we can call her Daniel anymore. She's too cute for that. I
think I'll call her Britney, after my favorite singer.
Notice that she looks a little like her too? She's going to
be very pretty when she grows up!" She looked at Brad,
noting with glee the horror painted across his face. She
frowned in mock consideration. "You can't see the
resemblance, Brad? Let me help..."
As Brad watched in disbelief, the jeans and T-shirt on
Britney's tiny body began changing. The T-shirt sleeves
shot down her arms to end in little French cuffs and the
middle separated to form a button down which was tied at
the bottom and the whole shirt faded to white. The jeans
shrank to form a cute plaid miniskirt while Britney's socks
became solid white and crept up to her knees. Her shoes
became adorable little clunky shoes, completing the
schoolgirl look which was considered highly erotic on
little Britney's namesake but was simply adorable on her.
Angela stepped around behind Britney and began pulling her
hair into pigtails. "I think you'll find that you and your
friend have very little in common now, Brad. The closest
she'll ever get to a sports field is when she's waving pom-
poms next to it."
Brad's mouth was working open and closed, forming unheard
protestations. His distress was interrupted by the
appearance of Jimmy in the doorway. "What's going on in
here?" Jimmy demanded. Brad looked over at his mentor,
desperate for some measure of sanity.
Angela merely smiled her disarming innocent child smile.
"Just helping Britney with her hair. You could probably
help us doing that, Jimmy. Your hair is very pretty."
Brad's head snapped around just in time to see Jimmy's hair
crawl down until it was below shoulder level. The new
tresses were silky and shined beautifully. Angela
positively beamed. "And I wish my color was such a pretty
red. It looks like a model's hair!" Jimmy's new hair became
a deep fox red and still Jimmy didn't seem to notice that
anything was out of order. "Thank you, Angela! I've been
told that it's my best feature!"
Angela smirked at Brad, obviously enjoying his growing
terror. "But why are you wearing those ridiculous clothes?
They look like a tent on you!"
Jimmy looked down at his sweatshirt and wind pants and
seemed a little uncomfortable. "Oh you're right. I borrowed
them from one of the guys on the baseball team to cover up
on the way over. They are a bit too big to be comfortable."
With that, Jimmy slipped off his shoes, flipping his hair
out of the way occasionally. He then began pulling off the
wind pants, revealing slender legs bare even of hair that
seemed too short to belong to Jimmy. Even more startling,
they were topped by a tiny white skirt trimmed in blue and
gold. In his shock, Brad didn't make the connection about
the skirt until Jimmy began pulling the sweatshirt over his
head to reveal a sleeveless midriff top also trimmed in
blue and gold that showed off a waist way to small to be
Jimmy's, and was also tenting out at the chest level in a
manner that was far from masculine. Jimmy pulled the shirt
past his head and pulled the length of red hair through to
finally reveal long slender arms to match the slim
shoulders and torso. When Jimmy flipped his hair back, Brad
could see that the face framed by the magnificent mane was
now very pretty, with plump red lips and enticing green
eyes.
"Oh, yeah," Jimmy sighed, her voice now a bell-like
soprano. "That's much better. Although I wish I hadn't left
my other clothes in Kelli's gym bag. When she went home
early from practice, all I had to wear here was my
uniform!"
Britney was staring at Jimmy from the bed. Angela noticed
her fascination. "I think you have a fan, Jenna, little
Britney can't take her eyes off of you!"
Britney blushed a bright crimson. "I want to be a
cheerleader one day too! Do you think I can, Jenna?"
Jenna giggled in a high tinkling tone. "Of course you will,
Britney! You'll be a terrific cheerleader!"
At this point, Jenna seemed to notice Brad again. "Oh, I'm
sorry Brad! You can see that I won't be able to help you
with your math tonight. I'll be here sitting with Britney
until 9 O'clock. Besides, Sarah and Kelli will be here soon
to watch movies."
Angela turned a wicked look to Brad. "I think Brad has to
leave now anyway, Jenna. I think he has some things to
think about tonight. Right, Brad?"
Brad, still unable to form words, nodded dumbly and
stumbled from the room to the front door, disbelief at the
spectacle he had just witnessed puncturing icy holes in his
stomach. He barely registered opening the front door and
stepping onto the porch.
