As the week went on Mike could see that Sally and Jacki were becoming best friends. He worried Jacki would let it slip about their discussion to date but could not worry too much so Sally did not see his concern.

“Yes, it does. Say, you need to come home with me some weekend just to getaway. Mom would love to have you there. I live in the country so it will be quiet and maybe dull for you.” This caused Jacki to laugh.
“I am not that ‘high maintenance’. I am sure I would enjoy it. I will let you know when I can do that. Sounds very good to me.”
They got silent and road the rest of the way to the mall. There they just walked around looking at whatever caught their eye. Neither bought a lot, but both found a new outfit. Sally had nothing special for it, but Jacki secretly was looking for something for her date with Mike. She hoped Sally did not see her excitement when she bought it. The last thing she needed was to try to explain why she was having dinner with Sally’s boyfriend.
After some shopping, they stopped in the Food Court to eat some lunch. Jackie decided to see if what Mike had told her was correct about Sally.
“Sally, can I ask you a personal question?”
Sally looked at her and decided to see what was on her mind. “Sure Jackie, I don’t want any secrets between us. You are very quickly becoming my best friend.”
“Okay, here goes. Mike and I seem to be close enough he feels he can talk to me about things that bother him. I hope you know I am not trying to get that close to him but it just seems we have a connection at times. I saw he was mopping around the other day and asked him what was bothering him. He told me about your talk on love and I could not believe what he told me. Can you really go weeks without having sex with him?”
Sally’s jaw fell and she could not believe Mike had discussed this with Jackie. She was going to have to talk with him about their privacy.
“Yes, Jackie, I did tell him that. Sex to me is okay but not what drives this relationship. I love him and lost him once so don’t want to have that happen again, but if he keeps harping about sex I may just walk away. He is so hung up on it that I am afraid that is all he thinks we have together. I enjoy being with him and just talking or studying together. We don’t have to touch at all and I am happy. He, on the other hand, always need physical contact and I am starting to feel he is addicted to sex.”
Jackie thought for a moment to organize her thoughts so Sally couldn’t tell she was wanting them to break up so she could have Mike to herself. She could picture herself being his sexy wife.
“Sally, to let you know, he plans to adjust to your way of thinking but only because he also does not want to lose you. He is not addicted to sex but he is horny and needs some attention from you. Sally slowly answered, “I know he came from a family that always showed their affection for each other. They are huggers and I just did not grow up with that. “No problem, I just want the best for both of you and I hope I was not too open and prying here.”
They leaned into each other and hugged for a moment. Both looking at each other to see if the hug was okay.

"Yea, it did and thank you. I am glad you are my friend, Jackie, and I hope you know you can come to me with anything. Now let’s finish our shopping and then get back to school.”
They walked around the mall some more and made a couple of small purchases. They then walked out to the car and drove back to campus. When they got there, Mike was there waiting for them. He was very relieved to see how excited they seemed to be.
“Did you have a good time?”, Mike asked, looking at both of them.
They both smiled and said yes, at the same time. This caused them all to laugh.
“Okay, I see you two are not going to tell me, or show me what you bought, and I will not ask again. I am glad you had some time together.”
“Oh, we did!”, said Sally, as she winked at Jackie. This caused Mike to worry and to wonder what they were up to. He decided to not worry about it and he hoped Sally would tell him later when they were alone.
They had been gone most of the day and did not realize it was suppertime now.
“I don’t know about you two, but I am hungry, so let’s go get something to eat.”, Mike said, looking at both of them.
“Sounds good to me.”, Sally said, as she slid her arm into Mike’s and leaned her head on his shoulder. “I missed you today.”
“Yea, right. I get the feeling I was out of sight, out of mind today. What did you two get up to?”
Sally smiled as she said, “Oh, nothing, just some girl talk, and girl fun.”
“I see, you do know I have ways to make you spill it, don’t you?”
“Yea, right, what are you going to do? Spank me?”

Sally knew he would not do it, or rather she hoped he would not do it.
Jackie just listened and had a smile on her face thinking about what might happen Friday. She knew she could not add anything to their discussion or Sally might get some bad ideas about them. Jackie thought about how to answer this and decided just to be honest with Mike. “She confirmed you were correct. She does not like sex that much. She also said she could agree to once per year and she would be fine. I know that is hard for you to hear but I hope you get this worked out. My suggestion is to keep talking to her and maybe she will change her outlook on it.”
Mike could not believe what he was hearing, once per year? Seriously? No way he can agree to that so she either changes her mind or he will be cheating on her if he decided to stay with Sally. It really didn’t surprise him when he thought back to when they had sex at her house, when her mom left for work, on Monday mornings. “I guess I should have known that was going to be her response. I have decided to take what I get and see if she will ever decide to give me what I want. “Sounds good to me, Mike, and I hope we are on the same page about dessert.” Both laughed with that said.
They went on to class and did not discuss it further, for now.
The next week passed on and none of them discussed this any further. By Friday Mike knew he needed to get some relief, so over the weekend, he planned where to take Jackie for dinner and when it would happen. He knew he could not tell Sally and hoped she did not catch him in a lie.
Monday came and Mike decided he needed to talk to Sally again about their life together.

I still do want to be with you as often as I can, but I will take what you are willing to agree to.”
“Thank you and I do hope you know how good I feel when we are together. I just don’t want that to become all we have in common. Does that make any sense to you?”
“Yes, it does and I also enjoy making you feel good. All I have ever wanted is to make you happy, and I will do anything to make that happen. I am sorry I get so horny every time I am with you but you are so hot I can’t keep my hands off of you.” Mike looked into Sally’s eyes and saw she had the same smile on her face.
They kissed and hugged each other then got up to get ready to return to school.
Everything seemed to be okay between them but Mike still needed to see what would happen with Jackie and decided it was time to see how Jacki felt about being the other woman in this relationship.
Wednesday Mike decided it was time to push this further with Jackie and while they walked to class, he brought up dinner again.
“Are you still wanting to go to dinner with me Friday night? Is there any place, in particular, you want to try?”
“Yes, I am looking forward to it and I don’t really know a lot of places here so surprise me.”
“Good and I can do that. I think you will like where I choose to go and it is family style so I am sure you will get enough to eat. Do you like fried chicken and all of the trimmings?”
“Mmm, very much so. I can’t wait to be alone with you. I know that is bad since we both are seeing someone else, but I am just so anxious to get to know you even better.” Jackie said before she held his hand quickly and smiled at Mike.
“I feel the same way,” Mike said and then added, “I will have some information for you Thursday, so you know how to dress for dinner. Also, don’t forget your bag for Saturday, if we don’t get you back to the dorm by curfew.” They both smiled at each other as they headed to class.
