Chapter 3: Information Overload
Barb and Carrie left the house. "This is crazy, I'm not sure I can do this
to Colin," Barb said with some concern in her voice.
Carrie giggled, "Oh lighten up this is going to be so much fun."
Barb glanced at her as she backed out of the drive; Carrie was hyper,
smiling and giggling her eyes dancing with ideas. Barb was quite during the
drive letting Carrie read off the directions that Barb had downloaded from
Betty's web site.
As they pulled up into the parking lot of a large warehouse Barb said,
"Carrie, I'm just not sure I can do this, hell this might ruin my
marriage."
"Lighten up girlfriend! It's not like your going to run home this
afternoon, handcuff him to the bed, and put a diaper on him. Although that
could be fun," Carrie mused. "Let's take this one step at a time, when we
get done shopping we can go to my house and work out a plan."
With a sigh, Barb got out of the car and tentatively approached the door to
the large warehouse office. Carrie pushed passed her and grabbed the door
and at the same time, her hand on Barbs back almost pushed her through the
door.
"Lighten up," she said as Barb entered the warehouse office.
The office was small but neat and in the reception area was a middle-aged
women standing over the shoulder of a young girl answering a question.
Glancing up the women smiled an asked, "How can I help you today?"
Barb started to stammer, "Well... uh... Betty."
The women interrupted with a warm smile, "You must be Barb, no worries I
talked to Betty this morning and we think we can help you out." The women
finished helping the young girl at the desk and then came around the
counter. Holding out her hand a warm smile across her face. "My name is
Joyce," she said as she held Barb's hand in hers.
Carrie just laughed, "This is going to be so much fun," as she introduced
herself. "Barb's nervous and getting cold feet about going through with the
plan," Carrie explained.
"That's totally understandable, let's take a walk back into my office. I
have an email from Betty that I want you to read and then you can decide if
you want to continue," Joyce said as she guided the girls through the maze
to her office.
Joyce invited the girls to sit down and offered them coffee, after placing
the coffee in front of them she handed Barb a email that she had received
from Betty. "There is a lot of information here and you do not have to read
it all, but it may help in making your decision," Joyce said with a smile.
Barb opened the email.
"Dear Barb;
I know you must have a million things going through your head about now.
Let me see if I can provide you some information that may help you in
understanding the situation. Remember, nothing has changed in your
relationship with Colin, and it may not change. I have been in this
business a long time. Over the years, I have gotten very good at
recognizing the signs. Let me share some of those with you as well as some
observations that I noticed while Colin was over here.
My male clients range from early teens to late sixties, while the range is
wide the majority fall with the age group of 30 to 50. About 70% are what
we call a diaper lover, or DL while the other 30% are into the adult baby
scene or AB's. The primary difference is that DL's are fascinated and
attached to the physical aspects of being diapered, wearing, and using the
diaper. This attachment can be a huge sexual turn on for the DL. AB's on
the other hand are more attracted to the aspect of acting and being treated
like a baby. Sure diapers are involved but many other items are involved as
well, the attraction is the acting out and being treated like a baby.

on this fascination, not many people are willing to admit there desire. The
few Professors that I have talked to and that have done some research tend

I have a number of clients that are in top management many in a CEO or
ownership position who are making critical decisions all day long. When
they enter this roll they leave all that behind, they are no longer
responsible for making decision and have no responsibilities in the world."
Barbara finished the first page and started to place it on the desk. Carrie
grabbed it and started to read it. Barb glanced up at Joyce who was smiling
and waiting quietly for the women to finish.
Barb continued to read the explanation that Mary had provided. "Now these
next tendencies are not exclusive to either the AB or DL world. Many take
this opportunity to explore gender reversal although I have never seen this
in my women clients many of my male clients enjoy exploring the feminine
side of this world. One of the professors that I talked to contributes this
to society. When people see a cute frilly dressed girl, they fawn all over
her and adore her with attention, not so with a little boy. I noticed when

with not having to make decisions, they are being told what to do and how

Barb her head reeling with all the information, handed the last page to
Carrie. She stood up and walked to the window facing the interior of the
warehouse. A million things going through her mind, "this is going to be
such a blast!" Carrie exclaimed as she finished the email. Barb continued
to stare out the window, in her own world. Joyce walked up, put her arm
around Barb, and gently turned her away from the window.
"I know that you must be overwhelmed," Joyce said in a soft voice giving
Barb a hug. "Let me tell you my story, which may help over come your
concerns. My husband and I had been married 12 years, like many marriages
we had our up and down phases. We seemed to have lost the spark and desire
for the sexual side of our relationship. We were doing find, each in our
own world, the kids were almost grown and out of the house. We both had
great jobs and were financially secure but life was all one shade of gray.
One weekend my husband was on a business trip, I decided to thoroughly
clean the house and remove a lot of the clutter. I spent all day Saturday

them in the garage out of the way and came across an old steamer trunk,

items, pulling a diaper out of the trunk I held it up. Obviously well used
and cleaned incorrectly judging by the yellowness and stains and large
enough to fit a grownup. I continued to pull items out of the trunk and
placed them on the couch. Baby bottles, rattles, diaper pins, I pulled a
pair of ruffled plastic panties out of the trunk, well used and in need of
washing and held them up. These would fit a very large person and I could
not understand what they were doing in my garage.
In the bottom of the trunk, hidden by all the clothing and baby items were
a stack of papers. I picked them up, hopping to find an answer to why. The
first thing I looked at was a catalog. The catalog was from a store in
England the front cover depicted a grown man dressed in baby girl clothing
and the caption read "every thing to keep your sissy under your control." I
was shocked. The catalog was addressed to my husband. I paged through the
catalog and discovered a different world. I glanced through the papers.
They were various stories. Thinking I might get a better understanding, I
sat down with a glass of wine and started to read them.

and using diapers was a world that was beyond my comprehension. By the
looks of the clothing in the trunk and the obviously well used diapers,
this was a world my husband was very much a part of. After a number of
glasses of wine, I started to close up the trunk and discovered in the
bottom an unlabeled VHS video tape. Afraid of what I might find on the tape
I poured the last of the wine into my glass and loaded the tape into the
VCR. The video opened with a shot of our bedroom, the camera paned down and
focused on the floor. There was a blanket folded neatly on the floor with a
large diaper laid out with diaper pins and baby powder beside the blanket,
waiting for a baby to be diapered. My husband came into the picture removed
his robe, lay on the blanket, proceeded to powder, and diaper his naked
body. The rest of the movie was various stages of dressing up as a little
girl in frilly plastic panties as well as a babydoll romper. Shutting off
the VCR I stumbled off to bed and cried myself to sleep.
I awoke late on Sunday my mind in a fog from the wine the night before. I
passed the living room on the way to the kitchen, the evidence from my
discovery laid on the couch as a painful reminder. I made a pot of coffee
and dwelled on the shocking world of information. I became angry, furious
at the deceit. My husband of 12 years had lied to me had hidden this from
me for a number of years by the looks of the well-used diapers. The more I
thought of the situation the more irritated I became.
I picked up the catalog and decided to call the store and see if I could
get some information on the purchases that had been made. My thoughts were
that I would gather up all the evidence and bring it to a divorce lawyer.
If he wanted to hide things from me and play these little games then I was
going to dump his ass. I placed the call and asked for the information, the
woman refused to give it to me. She must have noticed my irritation and
gently asked me if I had discovered some things that I did not understand.
Something about her voice calmed the anger that I was feeling and I shared
with her my discovery. I shared with her my hurt and anger and that I was
going to find a divorce lawyer and take my husband to court.
Mary asked me if I was upset because of what I had found, or if it was that
fact that he had hidden this from me. I told her I thought it was a little
strange but I was more upset with the fact that he was hiding this from
me."
Joyce looked at Barb and smiled gently, "Let me tell you that Mary shared
with me your concerns and questions. Your situation is different then mine
but it sounds like your husband may have an interest in exploring this
world. What would it hurt if he did enjoy this activity? If you give him
the opportunity to and he takes advantage of it you could really use this
to your benefit. Let me share with you what I discovered after confronting
my husband. I found that I was much more satisfied when I had control over
our relationship. Not that it appeared to change to the outside world but
I'm much more satisfied now. I control when and how I get satisfied,
sometime I enjoy the baby side," Joyce said with a blush. "I don't use the
diapers but when I need to be held and snuggled with I get to chose. The
other times I get total satisfaction and I control that as well. If you
ever need any ideas just let me know," she said with a giggle.
"No worries with that," Carrie said, "a good friend of mine was a
