Here we have a small town that is secluded in the Rocky Mountains. The
morfs virus has barely touched this town due to its natural defenses.
The Calons have just moved here only one year ago. It is a week into
August and Aaron is shopping with his mom for school supplies. He will
be a junior this year and also be starting a specialty course in
electronics. It's one of others that take the three period during the
day that students take electives with no link to the core classes and
gives you those credits. He hoped he would make a few friends that could
relate to him. As exciting as the new school year was looking, he wasn't
in a good mood today. He had been terribly sick last night and it has
continued today. Luckily, they were going to the doctor after they
picked up the essentials: book bag, calculator, safety goggles, pencils,
etc. Tomorrow he had to go clothes shopping, oh joy he thought
sarcastically.
"Ahh mom, can we hurry up?" I said groaning.
"Sure thing honey, I just need to get your sister a few things so just
sit in the car until I'm ready. Here, take my keys and turn on the radio
so you can relax." His mom, Karen, said in a tender voice.
Aaron took the keys and made his way to the minivan. He put on his
favorite country station and reclined his chair. A couple of minutes
later his mother came out and looked over at her sleeping child. 'I hope
it isn't serious,' she thought. She then pulled out of the Wal-Mart
parking lot and head for the hospital. "Honey wake up, were at the
doctors." Aaron groaned as he slowly got out of the car.
Since Franklin is such a small town, the wait for the doctor was only an
hour. Aaron layed down on the bed as his family doctor ran test after
test on him. Finally after two hours the doctor came up with what was
ailing Aaron. "It appears that Aaron is suffering from morfs. You folks
aren't from here are you?"
"No we just moved here two year ago with my husband's job transfer. Is
there anything you can do for him?"
"We'll I am going to prescribe some energy pacts that you can fill with
the nurse and then all that can be done is let him rest during his
transformation. It will probably only take a few days and then he will
be fine." The doctor handed Karen the prescription and escorted them out
of his office. Karen then got the energy pacts from the nurse and drove
her son home.
At home Aaron went to his basement bedroom and his mom set up the energy
pact on his arm. She kissed his mom goodnight and went to bed. Karen
later called into work and told her she was taking to the next few days
off to take care of her son. She also told her daughter, Erica, to stay
out of Aaron's room and let him rest. Later that night she explained
everything to her husband, Carl.
Aaron woke up six days later. He could tell by the lighting that is must
be sometime in the early afternoon. He wondered how long he had been
out. Now he felt great now, but had a sinking feeling that he would not
like what had happened. He noticed that his clothes were off, which
means they didn't fit anymore. Also, his body felt a lot different as he
stood up. Nervously he walked to the mirror. The image put him in a
state of shock. Standing there was a girl with blonde hair down to her
butt. She had green eyes and a face that you would she in make-up
commercials. Her body was well toned and supported a pair of what he
would guess D-cup boobs. As Aaron's eyes looked down he saw that his ass
and hips were big, and a little triangle patch of pubes above his/her
vagina. The girl in the mirror was his wet dream, only it has him.
After a moment, he shook and spat, "What the fuck." He gasped his throat
with well-manicured and feminine hands, "My voice." It was an alto and
way too high for a boy. Slowly he touched his body to verify what his
eyes had seen, it wasn't until patting his crotch and receiving a
electric shock through his body did he conclude that, "I'm a girl."
'I wonder what he looks like,' Erica wondered. It had been five days
since her brother had started his transformation. She had talked to
friends and found out that some of the more bizarre transformations take
a couple extra days. To say the least she was anxious. Luck would have
it that her mom had to go run a few errands across town and wouldn't be
back for a couple of hours. Now was her chance to get a sneak peak at
the action.
Aaron was about to scream when he heard the door open. Fear got the
better of his voice as he dove into the closet. Inside the closet Aaron
covered himself up with the dirty laundry that had accumulated at the
bottom. Erica looked at the bed where Aaron was supposed to be resting
and saw that it was empty. 'Where is he? Maybe he is hiding.' She then
looked under the bed and in the closet but to no avail. 'Maybe he went
upstairs.'
Aaron peeked his head out to make sure she was gone. He then grabbed a
blue shirt of his and a pair of boxers. The shirt came down to his mid
thighs and was constricting in the chest. He had been an average height
of 5'11" before and now he looked to be almost 5' even. His boxers were
really tight around his butt. 'I am going to need some new clothes. Now
to get out of here.' Aaron went over to his window to climb out of it,
but found he was too short to reach. He then grabbed a chair and pulled
it over to the wall. After getting out of the window, he headed towards
the old tree house in the backyard.
Erica had searched the entire house and returned to Aaron's room. "Ok I
give up, where are you hiding Aaron?" Her eyes searched the room and
found the chair by the open window. 'He must of escaped. I will show
him.' She then proceeded to close and lock every window and door in the
house leading outside. 'Now to wait until he comes back.'
'What am I doing? I can't hide up here forever. I might as well go home
and face the music.' Aaron made his way down out of the tree house and
towards his window. 'Shoot, it's locked. I guess I am going to have to
knock on the front door. Why is my sister so annoying?'
Aaron walked up to the door to make sure it was locked before she rang
the doorbell. 'That must be Aaron wanting in.' Erica thought as walked
over to the door and looked through the peephole. 'Who is that? That
can't be Aaron. I wonder what she wants.' Erica opened the door with it
on the chain so that the girl outside couldn't force her way in. "Can I
help you?"
"Let me in Erica."
"Who are you and what do you want. Are you here for Jack?"
"No I'm not, I'm Aaron and you locked me out of my room so let me in now
or I am going to tell mom."
Erica quickly closed the door to take the chain off and reopen it fully.
Aaron then stepped inside quickly and started to try to go to his room.
"Wait." Erica said grabbing Aaron's arm and turning him around. Erica's
eyes light up like a Christmas tree as she took in the sight. "I have
always wanted a sister," she squealed hugging Aaron. Aaron tried to pull
away, but was unable to break Erica's grasp.
"Let me go Erica."
"No, I'm not letting you get away this time."
Aaron squirmed but couldn't shake Erica. 'Why does my sister have to be
an Amazon volleyball player?' Thinking quickly Aaron said, "Hi mom."
This made Erica turn around to look at the door and gave Aaron time to
run for his room. Erica realized her mistake and ran after him laughing.
With Erica right at his feet Aaron was not able to shut the door in time
and Erica pushed Aaron off the door and got into his room. Erica finally
caught Aaron and wrestled him to his bed.
"I got you." Aaron found he couldn't escape and started to break down
into tears. " Are you ok? I didn't hurt you did I?" Aaron shook his head
no. "Everything is ok. Here I will let you go, now just tell me what's
wrong."
"I'm a girl. What will people say? They will think I'm some freak. Dad
will probably hate me now." Aaron sobbed.
"People won't think you're a freak, morfs happens to a lot of people.
And dad loves you no matter what happens." Erica replied softly. "Go
ahead let it out, let it all out. I will be right here."
'Ah, glad I have all of that done.' Karen thought walking into her home.
'I better check to see how Aaron is doing. There is going to be hell to
pay when he wakes up.' As she approached the door to his room, she hears
crying from Aaron's room. She quickly changes her pace to a very rapid
one and arrives to see Erica holding the girl Aaron transformed into.
Karen quickly comes down to hold and comfort her new daughter. "There,
there, mom is here."
Aaron quickly embraces her for dear life. "Mom I don't want to be a
girl."
"I'm sorry honey, there is nothing I can do except help you adjust. Now
Erica help her get some clothes on and I will have dinner ready in a
little while."
"Okay mom." Erica replied.
Leaning over to Aaron again, "Now honey, listen to Erica." Erica nodded
and Karen made her way upstairs.
"Are you okay?" Erica asked
"I guess."
"Okay. First you smell awful so go take a shower."
"Hey I'd like to see you smelling like a rose after a couple of days in
bed."
"Well still it will help."
Aaron walked upstairs to the bathroom and stepped into the shower. As
she lathered herself up, she began to explore her body. Her legs were so
soft and smooth, like all the hair on them had been uprooted and
completely removed. She just barely washed her groin, not wanting to go
there just yet. Making her way up, she felt just how big her butt was
and compared it to her now very small waist. Slowly she soaped her
breast. They felt to great to her as she rubbed them. She continued on
her breasts and found her nipples were so sensitive and they were
starting to get harder. It wasn't until she felt a warmness in her
crotch did she stop her self and blush about what she was just doing.
After that she quickly finished her body and began to shampoo her hair.
At first she took her normal squirt of shampoo and tried to make it
work. Soon her found she needed a lot more to do her whole head. Aaron
marveled at how much shampoo it took.
'I'll have to get a new bottle twice a week at this rate.' What also
made her mad was the time it took to shampoo and wash her hair. She
decided that she should probably use conditioner also just in case. 'Ah
man, this took 15 times as long as it normally does.' In which it
normally only took her 1 minute. Aaron stepped out of the shower and
started to towel her down. It only took one wipe to remind her how
smooth and sensitive her skin now was. She patted the rest of her body
down and ran the towel in her hair drying it. Finally, she took the
towel and wrapped it around her waist and headed out.
Aaron walked down the steps in her room to see her sister waiting on his
bed. Erica had laid out a white skirt and a blue t-shirt that looked to
be smaller than the one he had been wearing. When Erica saw Aaron she
collapsed on her side laughing. "What is so funny?" Aaron asked.
"You, your towel. It is so like a guy," she said as she pulled herself
together.
"Oh." Aaron blushed as she quickly fixed the problem. "So what is with
the skirt? Don't you have any jeans I can wear?"
"No not in your size, and the skirt is elastic. Now come here and I will
help you put it on." Aaron put the skirt and shirt on her before Erica
could help so as not to make herself looked helpless.
"So it that all then?" Aaron asked.
"No, I have to come your hair since you obviously didn't use a blow-
dryer." Erica pulled out a come and Aaron sat down and groaned as Erica
began to work.
"I am jealous, your hair is so pretty."
"Well I would rather cut it off, so you can have it."
"Oh no you don't. If you do, I will never help you again. Plus mom would
kill you." Aaron just sighed at her comment. "There it is all combed, we
won't do anything with it tonight."
"Good, I'm going upstairs and watching TV until dinner is ready." Aaron
began to get up when Erica grabbed her arm.
"Your hair may be done." She pulled out a kit. "But I still have to do
your make up."
"No way." Aaron tried to get up and leave, but Erica pulled her back.
Erica then wrestled her down until she was on top of Aaron, with Aaron
on her back looking up at her. Aaron struggled to get free, but failed
due to her new lack of muscles and the added fact that her sister was a
volleyball player.
"If you squirm, you'll only get a hack job." Aaron finally conceded and
let her sister apply lipstick, eye shadow, and etc to her. "There was
that so bad?"
"Yes."
"Well too bad, because you look stunning now and you are going to have
to get used to it." Erica stuck her tongue at her and lifter her up.
Aaron was about to go upstairs, when Erica spun her around to look in
the mirror. What she saw was a face she was sure to be on all the cover
magazines. 'Is that me?' she thought.
"Dinner's ready."
"Come on beautiful, time to stop admiring yourself in the mirror." Erica
said jokingly.
"Oh sorry." Aaron blushed. They hurried upstairs to see their mom
setting a meatloaf on the table with a number of side items. "Meatloaf,
my favorite."
"I thought you might needed it after what has happened this week. Sit
down and get your plates ready. I am going to try to get Jack down
here." Karen said. Jack was Aaron's older brother. Jack was a freshman
in the community college. He planned to get his associates degree and
then transfer to one of the bigger schools. He worked the third shift at
the factory in town during the summer. "Jack, say goodbye to Susan and
come join us for dinner."
"Okay Mom, alright Susan I'll talk to you tomorrow."
"Promise?" says the voice from the earpiece.
"As soon as I get off work."
"Okay, I'll talk to you then. But you better keep your promise or I
might have to show everyone the Halloween picture of you last year."
They both said bye. He regretted dressing up as a cheerleader last, but
a bet was a bet. Jack made his way downstairs to the kitchen. When he
got there he saw his mom, Erica, and a blonde girl sitting down at the
table. "Must be one of Erica's friends,' he thought. "So I guess Aaron
is still under the weather huh."
The girls giggle while Karen says, "Why don't you ask HER yourself
dear."
Jack looks confused at them and then the little light bulb clicks on.
"Aaron?"
"The one and only," the blonde girl chimes in.
"Wow, you look, uh, healthy."
"It's nice to see you too. How's Susan doing?"
"Oh she's great. She sends her best get well wishes."
"Well I'm better now. You know you sure are lucky to have a fox like
her. I wish I find a girl like that one day." Everyone started laughing.
Milk came out of Erica's nose, which made them, including Aaron, laugh
even harder. "Well, I guess maybe not."
"It's okay dear, you'll get used to it," Karen said. They said grace and
started eating their meal. Jack and Erica filled Aaron in on what has
been happening during the week, which amounted to a little bit more than
nothing. "Okay now that everybody has eaten, I think it is time to make
a couple of announcements. As you can tell Aaron has become a girl
courtesy of morfs. After talking with your father, we have decided to
change your name to Ariel."
"Mom. What? Why?" Ariel whined.
"Because Aaron is a boy's name and I don't want you getting made fun of
because of it. Also, Ariel is what we were going to call you if you had
been born a girl. Moving on tomorrow is your appointment with your post-
morfs screening. We have to be there at 8 in the morning so get a good
night's sleep. When you're done, we are going to take you shopping to
get you some of the essentials. We won't be getting too much, because
Saturday there is a big sale at Kohl's. Finally Monday I need to take
you to the DMV so we can change your license. Don't forget Wednesday is
the first day of school, and I want you to drive Erica to school now.
Also take her home later. Any questions?" They shook their heads. "Ok
good. Erica would you help me clean up."
While Karen and Erica cleaned the dinner table, Ariel challenged Jack to
game of Ace Combat. "I call the Terminator," Ariel shouted.
"Well since you have been sick and out of practice, I will take the
Rafole," Jack replied.
They pulled up a vs. mode map that has always been their favorite with
lots of mountains to dodge missiles with. They faced off, and the game
started out as usual; both of them trying to make their planes turn
really fast to get a missile locked on. It was turning into their normal
game of chance. Where as, the first person to make a mistake would die,
although both of them were experts so the time normally ran out. After
about 10 minutes, Ariel started to feel something different. She felt a
connection to the controller. The plane started to move and weave
between mountains, not from the buttons being mashed, but from Ariel's
will acted upon it. The feeling went on for about 30 more seconds when
she shot down Jack. "Where did you learn that?" Jack asked quizzically.
"I don't know, it was like the plane was a part of me or something."
Ariel tried to explain.
"Huh, maybe morfs did something?"
"Hey maybe it did."
"Let's try something. I am going to put in Halo 2 on the legendary
mode," Jack said as he turned of the Ps2 and switched to the Xbox 360.
"But you know I was never able to beat that mode."
"My point exactly, if you can beat it then we know you got something in
your transformation. Well, apart from other things."
Ariel gave her brother a loving jab on the shoulder. Jack set it up so
that Ariel had to beat one of the hardest levels on the game. At first
Ariel died, but jack made her go again. This time she felt that
connection again and started really killing some major convenet scum.
She started to feel the area around the Master and Chief as if she were
there too. After a checkpoint in the game she met a level where she had
to kill 4 hunters. Quickly she had the character kill a grub to the left
and take his pistol. Running towards the first hunter, she charged the
plasma pistol until it was full. To avoid the blast she slid underneath
the hunter and shot at the orange open spot on his back. The hunter went
down and she made her way to the next hunter. She kicked the hunter's
arm mounted cannon as it shot to one of the other hunters. Then she
quickly took out her SMG and gave him a facial with a couple of rounds.
Then with one hunter left, she took out a couple of plasma grenades and
decorated him like a Christmas tree. The rest as they say is history.
"Wow I did it! That was so relaxing. What's wrong?" Ariel said looking
at the shocked reaction on Jack's face.
"You manipulated the physics of the character and you didn't even touch
a button!"
"I didn't, weird."
"And that was so cool. I have got to learn how you did that."
"Well it was like I was the Master in Chief. And all the combat moves
came naturally." They played a few more rounds in vs. mode, but after
Ariel killed Jack with little ease so many times they opted for turns.
They only tweaked the rules so that Ariel had a time limit whereas Jack
went until he died. After a couple of hours Jack got ready for bed and
Ariel started to get ready for bed.
"I thought I heard you up here," Erica said cheerfully as she approached
Ariel in the bathroom. "I'm here to help you get ready for bed."
"What for, I know how to brush my teeth."
"No silly, I have to show you how to take off your make-up and put your
hair up so that it doesn't take forever to style tomorrow." Ariel
groaned and tried to pay attention to Erica's instructions. "Here I
brought you some pajamas to sleep in." they finished up and Ariel headed
for bed.
In bed the weight of what happened the day sank in. She thought about
what all the kids would say, all the girl stuff she now had to do, and
her dad. Ariel decided she needed some fresh air and opened one of her
windows to crawl out. She found that she couldn't just hoist herself up
and needed a chair to help her. On the grass in her front yard is where
she sat crying to herself.
Jack had just finished telling his mom goodnight and began walking out
the door for work when he heard crying off to the side. He looked over
to see Ariel sitting by the house moping. He took out his cell phone and
called work." Hey Mark, I can't come in tonight I have a family crisis."
"Okay, but you owe me one if you expect me to keep this from your dad."
"I'll buy you a beer later okay."
"It's a deal man."
Jack walked over to Ariel and sat down. "Nice view from here isn't it."
"Shouldn't you be getting to work?"
"Shouldn't you be in bed right now?"
"Jack, I can't handle it. What are people going to say about me? What is
dad going to say about me? And the girl stuff, it is already complicated
and I haven't even started. I know I wasn't great at being a guy like
you, but that didn't mean I wanted to be a girl you know."
"Well for one, dad will love you no matter what. Two, people are going
to say that you are the best-looking girl they have ever seen. Finally
three, the girl stuff will come to you in time and I bet you would look
great even if you dressed like a guy. As for the not by choice, well,
life sucks so get used to it." That forced a small laugh from Ariel.
"How come you always have all the answers?"
"Because I am older, wiser, and eat more Chinese than you." This again
made Ariel laugh. "Now let's get you to bed and I don't wan to hear
anymore of this."
"Okay." They made their way back into the house through Ariel's window.
Then Jack tucked Ariel into bed. "Will you stay incase I need some more
questions asked, wait. You are going to be late for work."
"I will be fine, let me worry about that. Also I am going to sleep in
this comfy chair over here." Jack took up the beanbag chair and sat
down. He fell asleep after a few hours of watching his sister. His
mother awaked him around 6:30 am. "Hey."
"What are you doing in here? Did you go to work?"
"No, Ariel needed someone last night."
"I see. Poor girl, she is taking this hard."
"Ya, you're right. But now she is smaller than her sister though. I
heard that Erica forced her to wear make-up yesterday."
"Well, she did. I scolded her for pushing Ariel a little too far.
Although Ariel is going to have to get used to it."
"I think she will be alright after a while mom. Well I am going to bed,
goodnight."
"Goodnight Jack." Jack walks up the stairs and leaves, and then Karen
walks over to Ariel. She gently nudges her and says, "Wake up dear, you
need to get ready."
"What time is it?"
"Six-thirty dear. Now go get ready while I make you some breakfast.
Don't worry about your hair just brush it. We are going to get it
professionally styled after your appointment. I have already laid out
some clothes for you."
"Okay." Ariel sleepily made her way to the shower. After she was done
she patted herself down and took out the blow dryer. It took a couple of
tries of figuring out how to exactly blow her hair but she got the hang
of it. Once her hair was dry, she took the towel and wrapped it around
herself remembering to cover her breasts. Finally, she grabbed a comb
and made her way back to her room. While she was walking downstairs, she
could smell the bacon from the kitchen. On her bed was another skirt and
t-shirt. Along with that was a pair of panties. 'Must not have a bra in
my size' she thought. Ariel quickly put the clothes on and made her way
to the kitchen. "Mmm, that smells good."
"Eat up, we have along day ahead." Ariel sat down and loaded up her
plate. Erica came in and did the same. After finishing off her plate,
Ariel sat in to finish off another one, and then finally another one
after that.
"Jeez Ariel, ever eat anything," Erica said in surprise.
"I can't help it, I am just so hungry."
"You know Ariel, you'll get fat really quick if you keep it up," Erica
said mockingly.
"Hey."
"She is right dear, though I wonder if your metabolism is high. Well we
will find out when we get to your appointment," Karen said. They
finished up and got ready to leave. Ariel took a pair of Erica's sandals
and was surprised that they fit perfectly. Then the three of them got in
the car drove to Ariel's appointment
In the office there weren't any other patients in the waiting room.
"Surprise surprise, in this town,' Ariel though as she sat for a total
waiting time of five minutes. In the office the doctor asked her what
she though of an inkblot, the only answer she could come up with was a
computer. The doctor filled out a form and sent her back to the waiting
room. After another couple of minutes, the nurse called her name and
Karen went over to fill out the forms and pay the doctor.
"Okay honey, here is the moment of truth. The doctor says that you're
safe." A few sighs of relief. "He also says that you now have a very
high metabolism, so be sure to eat a lot. Also he marked here that you
have some special abilities. Whatever is a technopath?" Ariel and Erica
shook their heads and they resolved to look it up on the Internet later.
They packed up and made their way to the car. Erica and Ariel both got
in the back seat.
"Ariel, you should tell mom what you want done with you're hair."
"Erica, no."
"What was that dear?" Karen asked in an interested voice.
"She wanted to cut it all off." Erica said ignoring her sister's pleas
They could both fell the car come to an abrupt stop. "What did she say?"
"Well I wanted short so I could manage it easier."
"Honey, your hair is so pretty you can't just cut it off. It wouldn't be
fair to the rest of us mere mortals who don't have what you do," Karen
said in her best mother voice.
"Okay, now can we just go?"
"Alright, but I don't want to hear any more of this."
"I will be fine, doomed to spend eternity in the bathroom, but fine."
They all laughed at her comment and arrived at the hair salon without
any further argument.
At the salon, Karen introduced her stylist to Ariel, and gave him the
info on what has happened. "Wow her hair is gorgeous, I don't know where
to start." The stylist started on her hair and a lady came over and did
her nails. Ariel looked over to see Erica and her mother looking at some
magazine. The stylist finished and put her hair in a part ponytail where
there is a small ponytail running down her back along with the other
half of her hair falling naturally. "Now I want you to start using a
different shampoo. And also, you need to condition a few more times in
the shower. Your hair fall great naturally, but you can style it if you
want. Well, I declare you fit enough to walk out of my store." They
finished up at the salon and made their way to the mall.
In the mall they did a little of light shopping (only 7 bags) and had
some lunch. They decided to go get what they wanted from the different
booths. Ariel decided on burger king. She got a few stares when she
ordered a triple bacon cheeseburger in a super-sized meal. "Alright
Ariel, what do you want for your birthday Sunday?"
"Hmm, I would have to say an English Pointer."
"Let me rephrase that, what do you want other than a dog?"
"I don't know, there aren't any good new games out and I'm not a clothes
hound like Erica."
"I'm not a clothes hound, let's see who has the most bags here? Mom
doesn't have any and I have one so that makes the other 8 yours. Hmm, I
would say you're the clothes hound," Erica said mischievously.
"Hey that's different. Besides its mostly underwear, make-up, and
shoes."
"If you say so," Erica replied with a grin
"Mom, just surprise me," Ariel said to her mom.
They finished up shopping and headed home. At home Ariel headed for the
computer to surf the net and Erica called some friends. Karen tried to
catch up on some chores. Ariel had just loaded her favorite website when
Erica came from behind and put her hands on her eyes. "Guess what."
Erica asked.
"What?" Ariel asked getting annoyed.
"You are coming out with a couple of friends tonight." She said as she
removed her hands from Ariel. Ariel then turned around in her seat to
face Erica.
"I thought I wasn't cool enough to hang out with you."
"You were before, but now I'm making you my special project."
"Alright when are we leaving and what are we doing." She remembered
Erica's friends. They were two players off the volleyball team, Nicki
and Jacky.
"We are meeting them for a movie at the mall, and then were going to
hang out in the food court. But first I need to get you ready."
"What is wrong with what I am wearing?"
"Everything if we might be seen by people we know." Ariel just rolled
her eyes as Erica followed her and helped her change. After a heated
debate, Erica conceded and let Ariel wear a pair of jeans instead of a
mini-skirt. Their mother drove them to the mall because Ariel's license
has yet to be updated and Erica couldn't drive yet.
At the mall Ariel saw Erica's two best friends sitting at the bench
outside the cinema. They saw Erica and waved us over. Then they greeted
Erica and gave Ariel an once-over. Their stares were ice-cold of
jealousy. Erica finally spoke up, "This is my sister Ariel, and you guys
remember Aaron right? Well this is the end result of morfs."
"Hello," Ariel said sheepishly.
"Hi," they said friendly and gave her a friendly hug.
"Erica, I think Ariel took all of your family's good looks," Jacky
joked.
" Ya well I got the athletics." Erica replied in response. They all
laughed.
They made there way into the movies and continued to talk. At first
Ariel was shy, but she soon started to get into the conversation. Soon,
the movie started and they all quieted down. The movie was the new
Pirates of the Caribbean. They had a little chat and comment about the
movie as it went on. Three hours later they made their way over to the
food-court. Ariel was starting to enjoy herself and was fitting in well.
After a little while a group of guys decided to come over to talk to
them.
Ariel immediately recognized one of them as Erica's boyfriend, Robert
Hanz. The two to his left instantly started getting warm with Nicky and
Jacky. She deduced that they were Erica's friends' boyfriends. That left
one other guy in the group. Ariel recognized him as a first string
linebacker on the football team, Jordan Webb. 'Somehow I don't think
this was by chance,' she thought.
"Hey guys, what brings you here?" Erica said with a grin and a wink.
"Oh, you know just hanging out," Robert replied. "Mind if we join you?"
""Not at all. But first I should introduce you guys to my sister,
Ariel." Erica made a hand motion to Ariel. Ariel made eye contact with
Erica and shot her an 'I'm not too happy glance' and Erica replied with
a 'what can I do?' shrug. The guys let out a couple of friendly hellos,
and then the ones with girlfriends sat down next to them. Jordan pulled
up his own chair next to Ariel.
As Jordan sat in his chair he couldn't believe his luck. Jordan didn't
have to work today and the coach for personal reasons canceled practice,
so he was really energetic about going out with her friends. Most of the
people he knew were busy tonight so when Robert, who isn't quite in his
circle, he jumped at the chance. He was told that they were meeting at
the mall with their girlfriends later and that there was going to be an
extra girl there for him to hook up with. At first Jordan was cautious
because he knew Robert's girlfriend was a little plain and over-
athletic. But boredom got the better of him and he thought 'what the
hell, I got nothing better to do'. Now he was sitting next to a gold
mine of feminine genes.
The 'gang' talked about the latest movies they have seen and school
events. Erica and her friends told of the outlook of the volleyball team
this year, while the guys revealed the inside scoop on the rival
football team, The Botkins Rangers. Jacky and her boyfriend slipped off
to make-out while Erica, Jacky, Robert, and Jess got into a close heated
conversation about the Bush administration, in that they all hated Bush.
That left Jordan and Ariel to converse with each other privately.
"So do you go to Franklin High?" Jordan asked Ariel.
"Yes I will be a junior. How's football going?" Ariel responded trying
to be friendly.
"Well the coach rides my ass a lot, but other than that it is ok. What
classes do you have this year?"
"Mostly just the core classes like chemistry and pre-calc."
"Well, I had those classes last year, so if you need some help, I could
tutor you. I won't even charge you." Jordan said, trying to see if he
could see her more. He has used these lines before on girls. Most of
them were exceptionally sexy like Ariel and had trouble in school. In a
small town like Franklin, there were very few or no girls with brains
and a body. Jordan figured if there hot, then a brain they have not.
"I think I will be ok," Ariel responded. She had been a straight A
student and had on more than one occasion helped out other students.
"You sure, because I know a thing or two about quite a few different
subjects." Jack said with his innuendo.
"I'm sure." Ariel was starting to become uncomfortable. Jordan was
starting to make his intentions clear, and Ariel wasn't that kind of
girl. Shoot, she was more guy than girl, mentally speaking. She quickly
tried to change the subject. "What do you do in your spare time, other
than football?"
"I work at McDonald's most nights. On the days I finally get a reprieve
I go out with people, like you for example."
"Oh, that's nice." Ariel was looking over to Erica to see if she was
ready to leave yet or at least get her away from Jordan.
Jordan seeing his opportunity fading told one of his world-class jokes.
Ariel, despite herself, was forced to laugh. He then repeated a comic
act he had seen on TV to get her in a better mood. Jordan kept going on
by keeping the conversation light and casual. Ariel starting noticing
things about Jordan as he went on. She found herself being aroused by
his smell and physique. 'Was I blind earlier?' 'I guess he isn't too
bad.' Jordan was a player in training, as his older brother would tell
him, so he saw Ariel's responses shifting. He also saw a chance, a
sudden and passionate kiss on the lips to catch her off-guard and
ensnare her. Ariel shuddered at his kiss; it sent a wave of pleasure
through her body. When Jordan pulled back, she was left wanting him to
come back and do it again. She felt her brain scramble.
The evening wore on and Ariel was having a good time with Jordan. Around
8 a skinny sandy blonde teenager began sweeping the floor. Ariel
recognized him instantly as one of her friends, George and waved at him.
George was someone you don't fight, not because he is especially good,
but because his family will get into the mix. And he had a big family to
back him up. His family wasn't very well off though; often he had to use
his money to help them out. He usually hung out with the outcast and
geeks because he found them to be better friends than some of the cooler
people. When George saw one of the hottest blonds ever waving at him and
beckoning him over he got a big grin on his face and worked his way
over. 'Whoa, who is she and how does she know me. I am going to have to
do some major bragging to Tommy and Aaron when we get back to school.'
Jordan wasn't too happy about this. He knew that George could out charm
a girl when he wanted to, and by the look on his face and Ariel's
strange disposition to him, he didn't wan to chance things. "Hey Robert,
watch this." Jordan called over to his friend letting him in on the
prank he was about to pull. Jordan kicked George's dustpan so that it
got caught up in his legs and tripped him. The impact of the fall then
sent the contents of the dustpan all over George. Jordan and Robert
laughed while George got up to his feet. You could see the anger in his
face. "Sorry about that sir, it was an accident." Jordan said with a
smirk on his face. He knew that is George tried anything he would be
fired from his job. George wasn't about to lose this job.
"It's okay, I should have looked where I was going," George replied in
the calmest voice he could muster at the time. He then cleaned up the
mess and made his way back to the rest of the lobby. Ariel was sitting
there scarlet faced. She had hated being picked on as Aaron. The last
two years, the name Aaron could be considered a definition for infamous.
Also George was one of her dear friends. So not surprisingly, when
Jordan turned back to Ariel she slapped him. The sound made everyone
turn to see what had happened.
"Erica we're leaving," Ariel said as she turned to leave. Erica quickly
picked up her purse and grabbed her cell phone out of it as she tried to
catch up with Ariel. She called her mom to pick her up, and then set out
to find were Ariel had gotten to
George had looked over and was a little shocked to see what had went
down. Not only had this unknown girl been friendly to him, but also she
stood up for him. 'I have got to look this chic up later.'
Erica finally found Ariel sitting on a bench outside. "Are you ok?"
"No, Jordan is such a jerk. He tripped poor George and well." Ariel was
embarrassed to tell what Jordan made her feel like.
"And what? Tell me." Erica was trying to figure out what had made her so
mad. True George was her friend, but she was getting along well with
Jordan. Also, she had known Aaron to never use violence unless
assaulted. There was a reason Ariel had gotten that mad at him and she
wanted to know why.
"Well I was tired of jerks like him picking on people.
"Ariel I know you, that isn't the reason."
"Well." Ariel was still unsure about telling her sister her emotions, or
for that matter anyone.
"Ariel if you don't tell me, I am going to tell mom what happened and
she will not let you get away until you confess. Therefore, it is better
to tell me now so that I can mask the reason why I called her before our
curfew."
"Ok. Well he made me feel funny. At first it was general discomfort,
then it was weird. My breasts were getting stiff and I was a little warm
down there." Erica just laughed at her statement and Ariel blushed in
embarrassment. "Is something wrong with me or what?"
"Ariel, you're aroused. That is what we feel when cute guys are around."
"Oh."
"So is that the reason you slapped him."
"Along with the other ones."
"Ok Jordan was a jerk, but you can't slap every guy that turns you on.
"I know, it's just hard adjusting. I still can't get used to how
everything feels when I walk."
"You will, it is just talking so long because you have so much more to
get used to than most people. But you had better soon, or some of the
girls at school will notice. Well there's mom so let's go." They headed
for the car and didn't say very much on the drive home.
At home, Karen asked Erica what had happened when Ariel was out of
earshot. Erica explained everything to her mother and made Karen promise
to not let Ariel know that she knew. Ariel had decided to get an early
start for bed. Late that night when Frank, Karen's husband, arrived
home, Karen filled him in on the situation.
"I think we should get her the dog this year. She needs one at this
time." Karen said in a concerned voice.
"Alright, but I'm not going to pick up after it, so you better be ready
if she isn't up for the challenge," Frank said in a tired voice.
"I knew you would see it my way, so I am going to do that thing you
like," Karen said playfully.
"Well I guess picking up some poop might be worth it after all." Without
going into details, they had a kinky little adventure before going to
bed.
Erica awaked Ariel in the morning. "Wake ?up sleepy head, we have a full
day of shopping."
"Do I have to, can't I just wear the clothes I have. I don't need any
more."
"Ah, Ariel I can't believe you said that. Are you sure you are a girl?"
"Unfortunately I am."
"Well then, a good mall trip will beat that right out of you." Ariel
just groans and turns back over to go to sleep.
"Wake me up in two hours." Erica takes Ariel's feet and drags her out of
bed. "Hey that hurt. Fine I will get up."
After eating some breakfast Karen, Ariel, and Erica made their way to
the mall again. The morning was a blur of clothes to Ariel. Ariel lost
track of how many times she had to try on and model clothes. They bought
everything from work clothes to formal wear in their spree. Around 2
thirty they finally finished up shopping and decided to grab a late
lunch in the food court. While Erica and Karen where thinking about what
Ariel should wear for the first day of school, Ariel decided to go talk
to George. "Is George working in the kitchen?"
The overweight guy at the register responds, "yeah but he is busy right
now, so you will have to talk to him during his break."
"Can you give him a message?'
"Fine. What is it?"
"Tell him I am sorry about last night from a friend." Ariel walked back
to join her family and the overweight guy went to give George the
message. "Dude some really hot blond chic says that she is sorry about
last night. How do you know a girl like that?"
"I don't know. She just waived at me last night and when I went over
there a jock tripped me. "
"I think she is messing with you man."
"No, she then slapped the guy and stormed off when he laughed."
"Well if you don't take her, I will. Crap here comes a group. Back to
work I guess."
After hitting a few more stores, Ariel and the group made their way to
the car. At home Jack came outside to help unload. "I took all those
clothes to Goodwill like you asked mom." Jack called out as he grabbed
an armful of bags.
"Thank you honey."
"Mom, why did you give away all my clothes?" Ariel stared incredulously
at her mother.
"Well you were going to need room in your closet and they didn't fit you
anymore. Honey you are going to have to accept that you are going to
wear girl clothing now."
"I know it's just..." Ariel's voice trailed off.
"It's ok honey I know it's a lot for you but I am doing this for your
own good."
They settled in for the evening and Jack went to see Susan before he
went to work. Erica helped Karen with dinner while Ariel started to work
on a video game that she had started before her transformation. "I don't
get it mom, one minute she is having fun shopping with us and the next
she is back to playing her video games again."
"Well it's something that she loves, a change in gender isn't going to
do something to that. Sure her interest in it may change, but it is
never going to go away. I bet if you turned into a guy that you would
still love to play volleyball. Also, from what I have watched with Jack
and Aaron when they were viewing that G4TV channel, video games are
becoming more popular in girls today. Besides what are you going to do?
Go in there and take the controller from her hands and tell her girls
can't play video games?"
"No, but I mean should we get her to do more girl stuff like help with
dinner?"
"Maybe later, but right now let her adjust and be who she has become."
After about an hour, Frank walked through the door. He has the weekends
off and today he was helping his friend on their farm. "Hi sweetie
what's for dinner?" Frank said kissing his wife on the neck and giving
Erica a warm hug.
"Tonight we are having fried chicken," Karen replied as Frank sat down
at the table and looked over the mail. Ariel had heard her father
arrived and peaked shyly in through the doorway. Karen turned around and
saw Ariel hiding just outside Frank's view. She quickly grabbed Ariel's
arm and pulled her into the kitchen. "Someone wants to say hi."
"Hi dad," Ariel said shyly as Frank looked her over. Frank then got up
and walked over to give her a hug.
"Hi my little girl. I have missed you so much this week. I hope Erica
hasn't pushed you too far." They made their way to the table to sit
down.
"No she has been ok. How was work?"
"Oh the same as it has always been. So what have you been up to?" Frank
was unsure what his new daughter was interested in after her
transformation. He wasn't pleased when he had first heard what his
second son was becoming, but he wood love her no matter what happened.
"Well the last two days mom and Erica have been dragging me everywhere
they always go and I have barely had enough time to play Dragon Quest 8.
But you wouldn't believe what all they made me get. I thought we had
bought half the store by the time we walked out of Weather Vane."
Frank's eyes met Karen's and she gave him a 'you should have known
better' look.
"So you still into the video games?"
"Yes, I'm not THAT girly. I still like a lot of things I did before.
Also Erica is still as annoying as she used to be."
"Hey I am not that bad."
"Yes you are, you locked me out of the house for Christ's sake.
"Erica when did you do that." Karen looked sternly into Erica's eyes as
she asked.
"It was when you were doing errands. She was hiding from me and went
outside so I locked the doors so she couldn't sneak back in."
"How did you know she was hiding if you weren't suppose to be in her
room?"
"Umm. I guess curiosity got the better of me."
"Well curiosity just got you grounded for a week and garbage duty.
Really, she had probably just waked up and was scared to death of you.
Now apologize to Ariel." Erica walked over and said that she was sorry
to Ariel.
"Apology accepted." Erica tried to hug Ariel but Ariel refused her and
Erica stormed off. "What's wrong with her?'
""She's mad at you," Frank told her. "Ever since I took you and Jack to
do male bonding activities she has been getting that temper because she
wasn't invited. You will have to ask your mother to explain it though."
Ariel looked over to her mother and Karen waived her to the next room.
"Ok mom what is with Erica?" Ariel said as they sat on the couch.
"Well ever since she found out about your transformation she has been
trying to get close to you. Here's why, she has always wanted a sister.
You boys had always ignored her and kicked her out because she was a
girl. She figured if one of you were a girl that you would hang out with
her as much as you and Jack do. So now she is trying to fulfill that
wish and do the girlly stuff that she had always wanted to do with a
sister. And you haven't been the greatest sister to her. I think she
expected you to keep secrets like that with her now that you're on her
side."
"I wouldn't say I am on her side yet."
"You sure. I remember you getting into out shopping trip this afternoon
and couple of looks at boys."
"Mo-om. Fine well I will just go talk to her then." Ariel walk off
towards the stairs and Karen heads back into the kitchen.
"So how did your talk go with her?"
"She will be just fine. Did you get Ariel's surprise?"
Yep, she is sitting in the car in the garage. She has some water and
food with a blanket. It should be good until you know when."
"Great. Do you think we are spoiling her?"
"Yes I do, but I wasn't going to admit if you weren't"
"I guess it is just like with Erica, we can't help ourselves."
Ariel knocked on Erica's door and only the got the response, "Go away."
"I'm not going away until you let me in. Look I am sorry I'm not the
sister you want me to be. Please let me in so we can talk about this."
Erica let her in and closed the door behind her. Ariel could see that
she had been crying and feared that she might one day be so emotional.
"You have one minute."
"Ok. Mom told me about how you always wanted a sister to hang out with
and do all the things that sisters do. But I just became a girl and
right now you still look like my annoying little sister. I can
understand why you're mad at me, but I am trying to adjust and it's
hard."
"No it's my fault. I pushed you too far. You forgive me?" Ariel nodded
and hugged Erica tightly. They talked for a while before Karen called
them to dinner. Dinner was quiet and afterwards they went and did their
own thing. Ariel tried to include Erica in her video games but Erica
quickly became bored and started making comments about the players "I
think you think that the hero is sexy. I think you want to kiss him,"
Erica said.
"I think that you should stop thinking that."
"Why because it is true." Ariel had to admit that she was finding men
more and more attractive and blushed. "I thought so."
"Well I think you have a crush on the king."
"The little green dude, ah." They giggled and started a cushion fight to
be broken up by Frank shouting at them to keep it down. After a while
they headed to bed.
Ariel had a dream that she was out on a date with George and they
started making out. She found that he was more licking her. Then she
woke up to see a dog licking her face. "You guys got me a puppy!"
"Yes your father finally agreed to let you have one," Karen said.
"Just make sure you pick up after it and feed it everyday," Frank piped
in.
"Oh I will. I think I will name you Lily."
"I like that. Now you better get up fast if going to eat breakfast
before we go play laser tag," Karen said.
"What about the guys? Are they still coming? I haven't talked to them in
a long time so I don't know if they were still going to go."
"I called them yesterday and confirmed it with everyone. Now scoot your
butt into the shower at once."
"Ok mom. Thank you guys I love you so much." Ariel hugged both her
parents and headed upstairs for the shower with Lily close behind. 'I
wonder what they will think of me now that I am a girl.' She thought, as
she got ready. At the breakfast table Jack and Erica were already eating
by the time she arrived.
"You know Ariel, you're getting to be worse than Erica when it comes to
taking forever in the bathroom," Jack said with a grin.
"Well she has to be our family's new spokesperson for good looks now."
Erica said in response to him as Ariel sat down and loaded up her plate
with as much food as she could. After breakfast Frank, Jack, Erica, and
Ariel waived goodbye to Karen and Lily as they headed for their first
pick-up. The first friend they had to get was Tommy. He was a chunky
lineman on the football team. He was a little odd and loved all the
stuff that Ariel and the rest of her friends do. He lived close to the
bowling alley in the poorer section of town. Jack went with Ariel to the
door as they went to knock on the door.
"Hey come on in I just have to put a shirt on." They heard as Tommy
opened the door and went into his room. Ariel knew that on many
occasions Tommy didn't wear a shirt so she shut her eyes as they stepped
in. "alright I'm ready to go. Where is Aaron and who is this?" Tommy
asked as he motioned at Ariel. Tommy had met Aaron's family a few times
so he knew who Jack was, but he didn't know who this incredibly hot girl
was.
"Well that's a fine way to give a birthday greeting to your friend."
Ariel said in a playful tone."
"Huh?"
"Tommy I'm Aaron, or I was. Now I go by the name of Ariel."
"How did that happen?"
"Good old morfs." Ariel said sadly.
"Wow that sucks."
"Tell me about. Well we had better hurry if we are going to pick up Jake
and George."
"Ok let's go," Tommy said as they walked out the door. In the minivan,
Tommy sat away from Ariel and didn't say too much. He wasn't sure how to
treat his friend now.
"So Tommy how is football treating you?"
"Ah its still long and hard. My girlfriend and I broke up."
"When did you get a girlfriend?"
"I only went out with her a few times last week. It just didn't work
between us and she was a little crazy.
"Well all girls are a little crazy I think." Tommy laughed at the
statement and Erica turned around from the front seat to give Ariel a
dirty look.
"So how crazy are you then?"
"I'm not crazy, I'm a little weird that's all." That made Tommy laugh
some more as they arrived at Jake's house. Jake was George's cousin and
had a very caring mom. Her name was Jo and she was cool about a lot of
things. They sometimes discussed things with her that many boys don't
care to reveal to their parents. She always made sure to give them a hug
before they left in case they never saw each other again. This time
Tommy and Ariel went to the door and Jack stayed in the car. They
knocked on the door and Jo let them in.
"Jake is finishing up brushing his teeth and will be out in a minute.
Your Tommy right?" She looked over at Tommy and he nodded. "Alright and
I haven't met you before." She looked over at Ariel.
"Yes you have I'm Ariel and I'm the reason we are going laser tagging
today."
"Aaron?" She said looking her over. "Let me guess morfs?" Ariel nodded.
"I had a niece that went through it and turned into a boy so I
understand honey. If Jake gives you any trouble just tell me and I will
make him regret it," Jo said lovingly towards Ariel.
"Jo Jake would not be as much fun if he wasn't his normal negative side.
I can take it don't worry about me."
"Well anyway you look great honey. Jake you better hurry up or they are
going to leave you here to do some chores." Jake was a small pasty white
skinny kid with glasses. He came down the hall with a copy of Sudeki in
his hands.
"Hey Aaron I finished Sudeki so you can have it back and where did he
go?"
"Jake this is Ariel and she used to be Aaron," Jo said as she had an arm
around Ariel.
"So you failed as a boy and now are stuck as a girl?" Jake said with a
grin on his face.
"No I passed with honors and got upgraded to first class," Ariel said in
response and stuck out her tongue.
"Jake if I hear that you haven't been a perfect gentleman to Ariel
while she is getting used to her change I will have John beat your ass."
"I will."
"You better. Now give me hug and be on your way." They all hugged Jo and
said their goodbyes. Jo whispered in Ariel's eye "If you ever need
someone to talk just call me or come and see and I will help you anyway
I can dear." They then made their way to the car.
"Hey Jake, I don't care what you say, I won't tell your mom. So you guys
had better get the jokes out now." Ariel told them as they got in and
they both agreed. Since George lived out in the country the car ride
there was a little longer than usual. Jake was on a roll in joked when
Ariel started crying. Jake was getting really nervous as he kept
apologizing and seeing Frank looking at him through the rearview mirror.
"Gotcha." Ariel said joyfully and they all laughed.
George could see the car come down the driveway. He instantly recognized
the car and shouted to his family that Aaron was here to pick him up. He
walked outside and jumped in the car when it stopped. "Hey guys what's
up?" He said as he sat down in the only open seat that was next to a
blond girl. "It's you."
"Well I would say it is." Ariel replied. George looked around and
noticed who was all in the car and who was missing and deduced, "Aaron?"
"Ding Ding Ding, we have a winner. Your prize includes an all expense
paid vacation to the laser dome. But first let's go to the Judge's to
verify."
"I'm sorry he is incorrect. The correct answer was Ariel," Jake
announced from behind the two.
"Wow no wonder you waived at me the other day."
"Sorry about that. That guys was a jerk."
"Don't worry about it. So your sister is coming along this year."
"Ya she clings to me like glue now."
"Well someone has to tell you what to wear," Erica piped in from the
front seat.
"So is that what you want for your birthday now, clothes?" George asked.
"No way, I have seen enough clothes to last me a life-time the last two
days. I think the answer 42 to life is how many shopping bags women can
buy in a day." Ariel responded bringing up a fact from The Hitchhiker's
Guide To The Galaxy. The rest of the ride to the laser dome was full of
conversation in the group. Ariel was having a good time with her
friends. At the laser dome they suited up and chose teams. Frank opted
not to play and get some homework done. He was trying to get his MBA.
First round was Ariel, George, and Erica versus the rest. George was a
good player while the rest were average and Erica being a novice. Ariel
found that with her more attuned female senses combined with her special
ability to manipulate electronic devices that she was really good at
this sport now. On the readout of the round's statistics she was put as
her team's MVP. The next round it was family vs. family as Ariel played
with Erica and Jack against her friends. The round ended up with Ariel's
team winning again. They played several more rounds with Ariel's team
always winning except one time where she was caught off guard. They then
headed for some lunch before they went to see a movie.
"Hey guys you have got to see this," Ariel said quietly as she pulled
them off to the side next to a Pepsi dispenser. She then put her finger
to it and pushed the Pepsi icon. Then a Pepsi dropped down into the
slot.
"Did you put money in that?" Tommy asked.
"No I got a superpower from morfs. Watch I will get another one." Ariel
tabbed the machine three more times and got everyone's favorite drink.
"So what is it that you can do and does it explain how you suddenly got
so good back there?" George asked her as he sipped his Sierra Mist.
"I can control electronic stuff. Take the pop machine for example."
"So have you decided what side to use your powers for yet?" Jake asked.
"Well for right now, my own side. I'm not evil yet." After lunch they
headed for the movies and watched Clerks II. Then finally they headed
for home. There Ariel introduced her friends to her dog and they had
cake. A few hours later the guys headed home. Ariel went to bed with
Lily sleeping in her bed. Around 4 am Frank let the poor dog out to use
the restroom.
"I knew this was going to happen,' Frank thought as he let the dog back
inside. Monday Karen took Ariel to the DMV and finally went back to
work. The next two days Ariel hung out with Erica and played a few video
games. Finally Wednesday came around and so did the first day of school.
Ariel had decided to get up at six thirty to give her an extra half-hour
to get ready but Erica had other plans. She got Ariel up at five thirty
and forced her in the shower. As soon as Ariel got out, Erica got in and
told her to dry her hair with the blower and wait for her. By the time
Ariel's hair was dry, Erica had gotten out and put her hair up to dry.
She then took Ariel's hair and styled it. She told her that her clothes
were laid out on her bed. Ariel walked down to her room to see a yellow
dress and heels on the bed. She got dressed and went upstairs for
breakfast. She made sure not to get anything on her clothes as she ate.
Finally they left at seven o'clock. Ariel let Erica off at the high
school and then made her way to the Gary Hatt building across town where
her electronics class was located. As she walked towards her classroom
she noticed a few things. In the hallway before the intersection was the
main office with one classroom for special students in it and a
teacher's restroom on the right. On the left was a girl's bathroom. The
intersection had a small common area and two halls leading to the
Machine Trades and Welding Classes. The left side was a break room with
vending machines and the right was a library. The classes directly ahead
were Med-Prep on the left and Electronics on the right. Ariel walked
into the electronics room and was greeted by the teacher at his desk.
"Can I help you miss?" the man sitting at the desk with the plaque Mr.
Stewart on it.
"No I think I see my desk." Ariel replied spotting Aaron's name on a
card folded on top of a bench. The benches were two people and had a
second smaller table/ledge on top of them about two feet up. They also
had a device that produces a certain electric current.
"Are you sure I don't think I have any girls on my list. Who might you
be?" Mr. Stewart asked with a confused look.
"Oh I thought the school had notified all the teachers, I went through
morfs and used to be Aaron Calon and now I go by Ariel. There should be
an e-mail sent to you."
Mr. Stewart looked through his e-mail and found the letter she was
talking about. "Okay here it is. I will just make a few changes and you
can go sit down." 'This will be an interesting year with a girl in the
class. If she goes into this field she will have scholarships out the
ying yang.'
Ariel sat down in the second to last row of benches on the far left
side. There were two row of benches going four back with the last bench
on the right side full of electronic equipment. In a few minutes male
students started to fill the room as the clock got closer to seven
forty-five and the start of the day. Many of the students gave Ariel
looks of either wonder or lust as they got to their seat. Ariel just
tried to keep her head down as her bench partner sat down beside her.
Before the bell rang a few whispers went around and Ariel could tell
they were about her. Finally the teacher greeted the class and went
through his beginning of the year speech about school rules and delays
and cancellations. He had everyone take the card with their name on it
and put what high school they went to, activities and hobbies, and an
interesting fact about you. Ariel crossed out the name Aaron and put her
name on the card. They exchanged cards with the person at their bench
and then proceeded to read them off one by one. It finally came to
Ariel's turn.
"This here is Adam Geiger and he plays football for the Balton Wildcats.
He has one sister and an interesting fact about him is that he drives a
Honda civic and customizes it on the weekends," Ariel repeated in front
of the class and could see every guy hanging on her words. The teacher
asked Adam a few questions about the car and then Geiger (there were two
Adams so everybody calls them by their last name) stood up to read
Ariel's card. Once again every guy was listening intently to figure out
who she was.
"Alright this is Ariel Calon. She has one sister and one brother. She
loves to play video games in her spare time and an interesting fact
about her is she just went through morfs a week ago." Geiger sat down.
A guy across the room asked, "What were you before?"
"I was a guy named Aaron before." A few shocked faces were around the
room from students who knew Aaron before his transformation. The teacher
asked her is she got any special gifts from morfs that they had heard
about in the news. "Well other than the power to attract a lot of eyes,
I just got a lot better at video games and using computers." She saw a
few eyes dart away from her as she talked to the class. After a few more
minutes of inquiry about Ariel they moved on the rest of the class. When
the introductions were said and done the teacher moved onto the safety
portion of the lecture. He explained all the rules and handed out the
forms to be filled out.
"Now if anything does happen. The girls over at med-prep get to treat
you before the paramedics arrive. Also don't go hurting yourselves just
to go over there." There were a few lude comments at that statement.
Ariel overheard Travis in the row ahead of her say, "Why would we want
to go over there, most of them are ugly and we have a babe right here."
Ariel was forced to smile at his compliment but couldn't help to think
that was mean for him to say that about those girls.
We finished up the safety lesson just in time for break time. We get a
ten-minute break in the hall with access to the vending machines and
time to chat with the other classes. Slowly I walked into the hall and
my first social experience on my own.
To be continued when I have time.
