As John sipped on his coffee, he could half hear little snippets of Anna
on the phone ."...personal situation...won't be in for a coupla
weeks....you can call me at....", etc. Silence for a few seconds, then
the faint beepings of Anna punching in another phone number.. "Dr.
Grant., please....need to see you ASAP...urgent personal

Anna reappeared in the kitchen. "Hey, John, we're all set. I really

John dutifully got to work making breakfast; everything was ready as

Anna continued, "After you've finished washing up here in the kitchen,
you can take a shower, too. Then please see me in my bedroom, and we'll
figure out how to get dressed for Dr. Grant."
John nodded and headed to the kitchen sink. When the dishes were done,
he had a shower. During his shower John' noticed his skin seemed to
softer, more sensitive the he remembered. He seemed to be shedding his
body hair, too. After the shower he saw he needed to pick a substantial
clog of his dark body hair out of the shower drain, so the water could
drain properly. Toweling himself in front of the mirror over the vanity,

In a few minutes John was done in the washroom. He wrapped a towel

slippers, and walked into Anna's bedroom.
Anna had been busy. She had on one of her favourite shirts, and was

John was standing again. He saw the cuff of his pants was too long,

She went to another drawer, got a needle and thread and sat down. "John,

Without further ado, Anna and John set off for Dr, Grant. Anna drove and

Dr. Grant appeared right exactly on time. She was a consummate

you would be... "Dr. Grant looked politely at John.
"Dr. Grant thank so much for seeing me on short notice," Anna said. "May

Dr. Grant extended her hand, which John took in his. He was feeling the

woman, a little taller than John. She was dressed in an appropriately
professional manner that perfectly match her demeanor.
Dr. Grant spoke, "John, I'm very pleased to meet you. Anna and I have
been friends for a long time, and I'm so pleased she has such a fine
young man in her life. Why, I might even be a bit jealous!" Dr. Grant

John felt a bit nervous, but he understood their mirth was well

Dr. Grant was still shaking John's hand, gently but firmly. John was

directly at Dr. Grant.
"Tina (Dr. Grant's first name), you've known me a long time, yes?"
"Yes, decades in fact" came the reply. Tina was starting to wonder just
what was going on.
"Well," Anna said, "I've got something to show you. I think you best sit
down. I also please ask you to try to contain your reaction until we can
have a full, rational, and thorough consultation."
"Of course" Tina replied while wondering why Anna felt such precaution
was being suggested. But Tina was very professional and if her patient,
and long time dear friend, wanted Tina to sit down, then why not?
Once Tina was seated, Anna turned to face her. John was also seated
behind Anna, but with a clear view of Tina's face. Anna quickly undid

to dress yourself, then wait outside until I have completed Anna's exam,
and it's your turn."
John nodded and quickly dressed. He politely left Anna and Tina
together, softly closing the door on his way out. On his way out he did
steal a glance at Tina and the thought crossed his mind, "She is a most
beautiful lady." He felt his pulse quicken and his nipples tingle, as he
took his seat in the waiting room.
