ready for her first day of school. Well, almost. Having not long
woken up my hair was just a tangled mess. So Mummy led me over to the
dressing table and told me she was going to fix my hair for me. I
looked up at her worried. I feared that she was going to cut my nice

table.

to twist it back and forth, looping my hair through each pass. I
started to complain, saying I wanted ribbons not hair bands, but she
explained that they were only there to make it easier to put the
ribbons in at the end. She then did the same with the other side then
turned her attention to the fringe. She cropped it off just above my
eyes then set about shaping it. Once done she asked me what colour
ribbons I wanted in. Of course I chose pink to match my dress and she
demonstrated how to tie them into nice big bows.
Once she was finished I took a look at myself in the mirror and my
