The Ice Girl
Belladonna
Maxwell Coffey had never worked a real job in his 29 years. His parents
provided him with the resources to live a life of leisure, which he came
to believe was his birth right. His parents had both been born to
wealthy parents, but his father greatly increased their wealth during
his brief life.
After his father died, Maxwell was primarily raised by his mother's
servants. As an adult, Maxwell was briefly employed by the professional
hockey team his mother inherited from his father. The job involved no
real responsibilities, and his mother let him go after deciding keeping
him around was more trouble than it was worth.
Instead, she provided him with a steady income of money for nothing.
Maxwell had no reason to believe that his mother would not provide for
him after her death.
The news of her sudden passing saddened Maxwell. He attended the funeral
and was taken for the reading of her will, which he believed was a mere
formality before he assumed control over her assets that were left
after
the estate tax.
Maxwell sat and awaited the reading alongside his cousin, Lou. Lou was
the current vice president of the team. Maxwell figured that he would
receive a token bequest.
The attorney read the terms of the will. Maxwell listened with a slack
jaw as he heard the preconditions of his inheritance. His mother had put
virtually all of her assets into trust that Maxwell was to benefit from
provided he completed the condition precedent within 2 years of his
mother's death.
Maxwell asked the attorney to explain it to him again after he failed to
understand what his mother had done at first. The attorney read him his
mother's words once more, "Maxwell, you never learned the value of a
day's labor. I spoiled you in life, but I will not do so any further in
death than my father did for me. As such, your unconditional inheritance
is limited to 10 million dollars. You must earn the rest of my assets.
If you want them, you'll have to work the most demeaning job I can think
of for you in my team. You must work for 1 full year as one of our
team's Ice Girls. If you choose not to or fail to do the required work
to keep your job within the first two years of my death, my assets will
go to your cousin Louis."
Maxwell shook his head and replied, "She can't be serious. Look at me; I
can't be an Ice Girl. I'm anatomically incorrect for the job. Listen to
the title. Ice Girl. I'm not a girl. I can't do the job."
Lou countered, "Exceptions can be made, cousin."
"How would I ever pull it off?" Maxwell retorted as his face grew red.
The attorney responded, "She planned for the response you gave, Maxwell.
She provided that you were to work under the woman she put in charge of
the Ice Girls squad. Your mother told her about this plan while she was
alive. The woman is regarded by your mother as some sort of savant when
it comes to feminization."
"What the hell is that?" Maxwell asked, forgetting to inquire about who
the woman was.
"You can't infer its meaning from the sentence structure", the attorney
responded in a manner that struck Maxwell as equally mechanical and
condescending.
"You mean, she's going to make me into a chick?" Maxwell asked.
"Oh, heavens no. She's just going to dress you as one. You'll live as a
girl for a year, but you'll never be one."
Maxwell started to think about her terms. A part of him assured himself
that it would not be that bad. However, that feeling was easily overcome
by the part of himself that had become steeled against such feminine
desires.
Maxwell shook his head at the attorney and said, "I'm not doing that! I
can challenge the will? I can, can't I?"
The attorney nodded and said, "Of course, but will challenges almost
always fail. Additionally, your mother said that if you challenged the
will, you lose all of your bequests. So you'd be risking everything she
left you, if you did make that challenge and lost."
Maxwell started to hyperventilate. Lou reached over and grabbed him. He
asked, "Are you all right, cousin?"
Maxwell shook his head as he started to calm down. The attorney resumed
talking and said, "Lou, I've been named trustee of the trust. I can vote
your aunt's shares until they are turned over to either Maxwell or
yourself. Until then, I will keep voting that you be in charge of your
Aunt's two corporations as the President and CEO."
"That's great", Lou exclaimed. Maxwell gave him a peeved look, and Lou
toned down his giddiness over his aunt's will.
Maxwell felt that Lou had a hand in his mother's will. He did not want
to let him get away with it. Additionally, Maxwell knew that 10 million
would not sustain a man of his appetites for long.
Maxwell thought to himself that a year would not be that bad. He did not
have any real friends, he only had lackeys that he felt were
disposable.
Thus, there was no risk of lost friendships to concern himself with.
Maxwell also was an experienced ice skater. He played hockey in college
and frequently took his dates skating at ice rinks. He figured that the
actual work involved would be a cakewalk.
Maxwell then thought about the uniforms the Ice Girls wore. He had more
than a part in their suggestive designs. He demanded the uniform of a
camisole dress and tights. He made the decision of which design to
accept, choosing a dress with the team colors on top with a black tulle
skirt flowing down to midway between the waist and the girls' knees.
Maxwell remembered the first time he saw the girls on the ice and how
hot he thought they looked.
Despite his attraction to the girls, Maxwell never tried to bed them. He
enjoyed looking at them, but he would never think about touching them.
He reasoned that his mother would never tolerate her son groping her
female employees. Maxwell was well aware that she detested scandals and
would discard him to save her team further embarrassment.
Maxwell did not need the girls anyway. He was a renowned ladies man.
Women threw themselves at him. Part of Maxwell knew that the only reason
they did so was his family's wealth, but he never let that bother him.
He was content to use that advantage to bed every pretty woman he could
find.
Maxwell's relationships were always short term. He had girls who tried
to keep him under their thumbs, but Maxwell spurned them all. He cheated
on every girlfriend he ever had. Even those women that tolerated his
infidelity because of his wealth did not last long since Maxwell tossed
women aside as soon as he grew bored with them.
Maxwell thought about his current girlfriend, Jasmine. She was a model
and would surely leave him if he took up his mother's challenge. That
was not a concern for him though. Maxwell figured they would break up
eventually anyway. Maxwell figured that there were more women like her.
Maxwell looked at the attorney and his cousin and said, "I'm going to do
it. I'm going to take up her challenge. I've got nothing to lose."
Lou smiled at his cousin and said, "Let's get started then."
The attorney nodded and said, "Oh, I think that's great, but you could
two hold up."
"Of course, but why?" Lou asked.
"Your aunt wanted me to read this in the event that Maxwell took up her
challenge", the attorney answered.
"Don't let me stop you", Lou responded.
The attorney cleared his throat and said, "To my darling son, Maxwell. I
am thrilled that you took up my challenge. That shows initiative
and...ahem...balls that you did not show me when I was alive."
Maxwell was filled with hope that a reprieve might be forthcoming as he
heard his mother's words. However, they were quickly dashed as the
attorney continued, "I only wish I was there to see you when you make
your first appearance on the ice with the girls. I wish you the best of
luck and hope this experience will make something of you. Love, Mother.
CEO of Flancrest Enterprises and Flancrest Sports."
"Did she really sign it that way?" Maxwell asked.
The attorney nodded and replied, "She wanted to be a businesswoman until
the end."
Maxwell dipped his head and nodded and muttered, "Even in death, mom?"
Lou put his arm on Maxwell's shoulder and said, "Let's get to work. I'm
sure you want to get this over with as quick as you can."
Maxwell nodded as he stood up and was taken to the employee his mother
had left in charge of him if he took up her challenge. Lou knocked on
her door before he opened it. Lou and Maxwell walked in, and Maxwell saw
the woman named in his mother's will, Victoria Advocate.
Victoria smiled at Maxwell. Maxwell's mind started to race as he looked
at her. Victoria stretched her arm forwards to shake Maxwell's hand and
said, "Shall I'll take it you took up your mother's challenge,
Maxwell?"
Maxwell nodded to confirm her assumption as he stood before her
silently. Victoria let go of his hand and said, "It will be a pleasure
to work with you again."
Maxwell nodded again as he thought back to his past with Victoria. She
was formerly his personal assistant at the do nothing, no show job his
mother created for him with the team. Mrs. Coffey had hired Victoria to
make something of her son, but Victoria had little success. She made up
the schedule that Maxwell set for himself and rarely kept to. He was too
unreliable to be trusted with any important part of the team. He would
show up at games and talk with the players, but that was all.
Victoria considered the job demeaning as Maxwell made her do personal
errands for him. Maxwell found Victoria pretty and enjoyed watching her
do his menial tasks for him before his mother relieved him of his duties
and reassigned Victoria.
Maxwell realized that their positions were now greatly reversed. Now,
Victoria was going to be in charge of him for a year. Maxwell wondered
what she could have planned for him.
Victoria grinned as she noticed how apprehensive Maxwell was about her
control over him. She took out her cell phone and said, "Just one
minute, Maxwell. I have to make a call to make sure we can transition
you today."
Maxwell sat in Victoria's guest chair and sunk low in his seat as
wondered what the transition would entail. Victoria dialed her phone and
said, "Hello, Alice. This is Victoria Advocate."
Maxwell heard a response and Victoria continued, "It's time for project
Alpha Reassign. I was wondering if you could squeeze it in today."
'She has a codeword for it', Maxwell thought to himself as he crossed
his legs as Victoria listened to the response.
"Yes, that's right. The full transformation."
Maxwell heard more words he could not make out, but the growing smile on
Victoria's face told him what Alice was saying. Victoria replied to
Alice, "You can come by right away. That's fantastic. I'll see you
soon."
Victoria hung up and looked at Lou and Maxwell as she said, "Alice will
be here shortly to totally feminize Maxwell."
Maxwell cringed as he heard the word feminize. It was not a word that he
wanted to hear in the same sentence as his own name.
Not long after the phone call, Alice arrived at the arena. Victoria went
out and brought her into her office to get started. Lou dismissed
himself then, saying that he had important work to do.
Maxwell was left alone with the two women who he knew were about to take
away the masculine elements of his appearance. Maxwell watched as the
two cleared off Victoria's desk before they told him to lay down upon
it.
Maxwell did as he was told and waited for them to start their work as
his feet dangled off the desk. He then felt a sudden tug at his pants
legs.
"What are you doing?" Maxwell asked as Victoria started to undo his
pants buckle.
Alice answered, "We have to remove your body hair, dear."
Maxwell nodded and said, "Okay, but don't call me dear."
"Anything you say, babe", Alice responded.
Maxwell was left wearing only his briefs after Victoria took off his
shirt. Maxwell had helped her get it off as Alice finished preparing for
his hair removal. He relaxed as Alice placed the mixture onto his leg.
Maxwell wondered how it would feel until he felt his hair ripped out of
his leg.
His upper body pulled him off the desk. Victoria laughed and said, "Take
it like a girl, Maxi."
He felt almost as stung by her words as the fleeting pain in his leg as
another strip was pulled off. Maxwell managed to control the appearance
of his pain as Alice proceeded to remove the rest of his body hair on
his arms, legs, chest and underarms.
The girls sat Maxwell up as he began to examine his suddenly smooth
skin. Without his body hair, his lean extremities looked decidedly
feminine to him. He was disturbed by how shapely his legs were. He had
never been entirely comfortable with his slender physique, but he felt a
little relieved to look so womanish beneath his neck. He figured it
would make pulling off the look he would be saddled with for a year
considerably easier. Still, he could not help but be embarrassed at the
effeminacy of his body.
Alice then proceeded to thin out Maxwell's eyebrows. With every pluck,
Maxwell felt that he was losing more and more of his male identity. As
she finished with the eyebrows, Maxwell realized that he had not broken
up with his girlfriend yet. He knew he could never see her looking the
way he did, so he asked Victoria, "Can I please have a moment to call my
girlfriend? I need to end it, for obvious reasons."
Victoria nodded and said, "Go ahead", as Alice began to prepare to do
Maxwell's nails.
Maxwell realized that he was not going to get any privacy while he made
the call. He shrugged, grabbed his phone out of his pants and called his
girlfriend and told her that they were over.
Victoria smiled as she heard the screaming voice on the other end of
Maxwell's call. Maxwell nodded to himself as the girl shouted, "You're a
coward for not doing this in person, Maxwell. What's a matter? You
couldn't face me like a man? You don't have the balls, do you? You're
not a real man, Maxwell!"
"You don't know what you're talking about", Maxwell shouted as Alice
began to apply pink nail polish to his toenails.
Maxwell heard more yelling, but he hung up the phone and turned it off.
He stewed over his ex-girlfriend's words as Alice moved on to polishing
his short fingernails. He groused to himself about his ex's audacity to
say that he was not a real man as he watched his fingernails get covered
with a pale pink color.
As Maxwell's fingernails dried, Alice and Victoria put a bra on him and
positioned his breast forms. They glued them on and showed Maxwell how
to attach them. He watched intently as he wanted to look as
unambiguously feminine as possible for as long as he was stuck as an Ice
Girl.
With his fingernails dry, Maxwell was given a blouse to put on. He did
so before he was told to go to the bathroom and put on the gaff, panties
and jeans Victoria handed him.
Alice explained to Maxwell that he needed to tuck away his member and
push his testicles up inside of him. He was not sure what she meant, but
he thought he could figure it out. Maxwell walked out of the room
nonchalantly until he remembered how he looked.
He was clearly a man from the waist down and the neck up, but he had
painted nails and breast forms and a blouse on. Victoria laughed as
Maxwell started running for the bathroom. He hurried to the men's room,
and he made sure that no one was in there. He went into a stall and put
on the gaff. He clutched his penis, and tried to pull it between his
legs to hide it. As he pulled it back, he realized where his testicles
were supposed to go. Maxwell smiled as he pulled his gaff into place to
secure his penis between his legs and the ascension of his testicles. As
strange as the thong of the gaff felt, Maxwell did not feel that
uncomfortable. He caught himself smiling at his smooth front. 'What's
wrong with me', he thought before he hurriedly pulled his panties up and
put on his jeans.
He hurried out of the bathroom and back towards Victoria's office,
hoping that no one would catch a glimpse of him. He reached her door. He
turned the knob and found that it was locked. He heard footsteps
approaching the bend in the wall that blocked a clear view of her office
door. He pounded on the door, and he felt relieved as he was let
inside.
Alice then went to work putting on his makeup. She started around his
eyes and explained to Maxwell what he would need to do every morning to
look like the lady he was trying to disappear into. Maxwell listened
carefully to her words while he watched Alice applying the makeup to his
face. His eyes could not leave the girl that he saw coming to into view
in the mirror. With Alice's application of every cosmetic to his face,
Maxwell felt that he looked less and less like a man.
Alice proceeded to work on his lips. She paused before she touched them.
Victoria grinned as the beautician applied Maxwell's lips gloss and
said, "Those are great fuck me lips, Maxi. The boys love lips like
yours."
Maxwell cringed and said, "That's nice, but I'm not gay."
"Whatever you say, Maxwell. Nobody's perfect", Victoria replied as the
beautician smiled.
Alice finished with his makeup and told Victoria that she needed to get
her hair supplies from her car. Victoria said she would go with her
before she admonished Maxwell to not go anywhere.
Maxwell shook his head as they left and said to himself, "Where do they
think I'd go looking like I'm halfway between a guy and a girl like some
sissy?"
The girls came back in carrying several bags. Victoria offered Maxwell
something to eat as Alice began to attach the extensions she had brought
with her. He took Victoria up on it and began eating the sandwich she
got for him. He paused between bites to wipe his mouth and saw some of
his lip gloss come off on it.
Victoria laughed and said, "Bet you never thought you'd see that coming
off your own lips, Maxi, dear."
Maxwell sighed and kept still as Alice worked on his hair. After some
time, Alice finished and showed Maxwell his new long locks. He was a
little concerned about how the extensions did not match his hair color.
Alice started to laugh at him and replied, "You think I'd let someone I
worked on go out looking like this?"
Maxwell shrugged as Alice took out a box of hair coloring. Victoria
escorted Maxwell to the ladies room where Alice washed his hair and
applied the solution to his hair. Maxwell felt that it smelled terrible
as he waited for it to be removed from his hair.
When it was finally rinsed out, Maxwell looked up into the mirror and
caught sight of his new look. He saw the soaked nearly white hair coming
from his head and shouted, "Why did you pick this color?"
Victoria shook her head and replied, "When I worked with you, you always
went for peroxide blondes. I figured it was what you would want to look
like if you were a girl."
"That's the type of girl I like, not who I want to look like", Maxwell
replied.
"Well, too late, now", Victoria said as she shrugged. Maxwell shook his
head before Alice started to dry his hair and brush it out straight. As
she finished, Alice said, "You're free to go, Maxwell. If Victoria says
it's all right at least."
Victoria waived Maxwell away and said, "Practice is tomorrow at 9 A.M.
Get here by 8 so we can get you sized up for a uniform. Oh, and take
these bags."
"What's in them?"
"Clothes, make up, shoes. Everything you'll need. Wear the sneakers and
sweats to practice tomorrow. Okay?"
Maxwell nodded sullenly and headed for the door. He took a cab back to
his apartment building and went for his elevator. However, an employee
of the building stopped him and demanded to see a building card.
Maxwell almost shouted, "Don't you know who I am?" However, he realized
in time that the man had no reason to know who Maxwell was at that
moment.
Maxwell smiled and showed the man his key. He recognized it as the key
to Maxwell Coffey's apartment. He looked down at the apparent girl
standing before him and realized she was Maxwell's type. The man gave a
telling smile and said, "Oh, you're one of Maxwell's friends. You make
sure he shows you a good time."
"I will", Maxwell replied as he walked past the man he caught staring at
his ass as he walked by him. Maxwell's stomach nearly turned, but he
kept up his smile until the doors to the elevator closed. He then
slumped and thought, 'I'm going to have to deal with that for a year!'
Maxwell got off the elevator and walked into his apartment. He sat down
on his couch and looked up at the ceiling and said, "Was this really
necessary, Mom?"
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Maxwell walked up to where the room that the Ice Girls used as their
locker room was. He knew that beyond the door he stared at was a locker
for every girl. The small lockers were installed for the girls during
the brief time he had some control over the squad. Maxwell never dreamt
that he would find himself using one of them.
Maxwell hesitated as he stood before the door. He was not sure how the
girls would react to having another member forced upon them so late in
the season. He knew that the girls had been working on the ice all year
together. They knew their routines. He figured that they would be
unhappy about the addition of another girl in the final weeks of the
season.
Maxwell went to open the door, but paused. He stood there with one hand
on the handle as he considered backing out of the deal. He wondered if
it was really worth it, but the lure of money and power at the end of
the year was too much for Maxwell. He turned the handle and walked
inside.
He saw Victoria standing in the room waiting for him amidst the girls
that had already arrived. Victoria pulled Maxwell aside and told him to
get fitted for his uniform.
The tailor took Maxwell's measurements for the dress he was going to be
wearing on the ice. He also measured Maxwell's foot, and he gave him the
ice skates that he was now going to be wearing to practice and the
games. Maxwell took the skates and saw Victoria enter the room.
As Maxwell walked away from the team's tailor, Victoria pulled him into
the middle of the squad's locker room. She told him to wait there so she
could announce his addition to the squad once all the girls had
arrived.
Once the girls all came into the room, Victoria introduced Maxwell as
Eleanor. Maxwell squirmed as the girls examined him. He had never met
any of them in any capacity. There was high turnover in the squad, which
was primarily made up of college students. Maxwell knew that he was by
far the oldest member of the team as he looked out at the girls' faces.
He figured that was the reason he was getting strange looks from the
girls.
Victoria then announced that Maxwell was the newest Ice Girl. Some of
the girls looked confused. They knew that the squad was full, and
Maxwell noticed that a few seemed worried that he was taking one of
their spots. However, Victoria alleviated their fears by adding that
Maxwell was not replacing anyone and that management felt that they
needed another girl for the upcoming playoffs.
Victoria smiled and told the girls that management wanted another girl
on the skating line and that Maxwell would be taking over the role of
the one of the girls that cleans the ice. Maxwell felt instantly
relieved that he would not be one of the girls who performed dance
routines. He felt that sweeping the ice would be demeaning enough. He
was glad that he would not have to do the more visible and feminine
role.
Victoria then brought the girls onto the ice to practice. Maxwell was
sent out to clean the area around the goalie nets. He worked on the ice
before the players arrived to take over the arena's rink. As Maxwell
cleaned up the ice, he saw a man staring at him from behind.
He knew that it was a player named Ted Boogaard. Ted was an enforcer
defenseman who played among the least minutes of any of the team's
players. He had once been a starter, but his knee injuries eroded his
ability to be a real offensive threat. However, his ability to use his
unusual size kept him in the league. At 6'7" and 250 pounds, he often
looked more suitable for the basketball court than a hockey rink.
However, Ted made the most of his size by delivering big hits on
opposing players.
Maxwell scurried off the ice with his fellow Ice Girls as Ted continued
to leer at him. Maxwell felt exposed and a little frightened by Ted's
interest. He figured the goliath might lose it if he knew that he was
really leering at a man.
As Maxwell got into the girl's room, he saw a few of the members of the
squad changing from their workout uniforms into their street clothes.
Maxwell was happy to watch even as he had no need to change himself
since he failed to bring a change of clothes with him.
One of the youngest girls then said, "Hey, Eleanor, right?"
Maxwell nodded before the girl continued, "I'm Crystal. How did you like
your first practice?"
Maxwell shrugged and said in a small voice, "It was okay, I guess."
Crystal whistled and said, "You've got a deep voice. I bet the boys find
it sultry."
Maxwell shrugged and said, "Some do, I guess."
Crystal nodded and said, "So why did you decide to join the Ice Girls? I
don't mean anything by this, but you're a little older looking than
most
of the girls around here?"
Maxwell replied truthfully, "I'm definitely on the old side to be doing
this so I don't take any offense. I just did it because I knew that if I
didn't do it when I had the chance, I'd regret it."
Crystal nodded, and Maxwell excused himself. He went to Victoria's
office. She told him when to be back for the game by, and he took off
for lunch. Maxwell came back when he was told to and changed into the
uniform that was waiting for him in his locker for the first time.
Maxwell cursed himself as he put on the skating tights and dress. He
felt like hitting himself for not going with pants like Victoria
suggested when the uniform was being selected. Still, Maxwell was a
little turned on by his appearance in the uniform. He thought it looked
good on his slender physique when he caught a glimpse of himself in a
mirror. Then he started to curse himself as he realized that he was
beginning to get comfortable with his self-proclaimed unwanted feminine
appearance.
Maxwell got ready with the other members of the squad to go out onto the
ice after the first period ended. Maxwell skated out with them and
headed for one of the goals. He heard the crowd noise around him as most
of the other girls skated in unison while holding a flag. As he
approached the goal, he felt his skate buckle.
Maxwell collapsed to the ice landing on his rear as the blade of his
skate broke away. He heard faint laughter from the crowd as he got up
rubbing his butt. Another girl came over and cleaned the ice around the
net as Maxwell made his way off the ice with only one skate to the
amusement of many in the crowd. Maxwell got off the ice without ever
seeing the smile on Victoria's face.
Victoria came over to him and took him to get his skate fixed. She told
him to not worry about it. She assured him that it was just a freak
accident. Maxwell nodded and went along with the explanation as he got a
new skate.
He was unhappy about the mishap because he believed he could have hit
his head on the ice or turned an ankle, but he believed that no one was
at fault for it. He put on the new skate and waited with the girls for
the end of the second period.
Maxwell's next trip onto the ice was less eventful. He did his job and
went back off the ice and waited for the end of the game. Maxwell
changed after the game, and he got the items in his locker ready for the
next home game. As Maxwell walked out of the room, he headed into the
walkway towards the exit. Maxwell then noticed that Ted had stepped into
the walkway as well.
Maxwell tried to walk past him, but Ted approached him. He smiled as
Maxwell's back moved up against an alcove in the wall as Ted approached
him. Ted held out his hand and said, "Hi, I'm Ted Boogaard."
"I know who you are", Maxwell responded truthfully in a low voice.
Ted looked down at Maxwell and said, "Can I get your name?"
"It's Eleanor."
"Nice to meet you, Eleanor."
"Pleasure", Maxwell responded as his eyes began searching for the best
escape route.
Ted leaned in towards Maxwell and said, "I don't know what it is, but
there's something different about you."
"Different how", Maxwell asked as he started to sweat a little.
"You seem different from the other girls out there. It's something I
can't quite figure out, but I like it. I don't usually go for....Ice
Girls, but I'd have to make an exception for you."
"I'm sure that you say that to all the girls", Maxwell replied.
"No. I never would. I don't know what it is about you, but I have this
strange attraction to you that I can't understand", Ted replied as he
placed his hand gently on Maxwell's shoulder.
Maxwell peered down at Ted's massive hand and felt inadequate next to
him. Ted was 6'6" and broad man, while Maxwell was 5'7", skinny and
dressed like a young woman. Maxwell felt a strange sensation as he
sensed the feel of Ted's hand.
The feeling began to distress Maxwell. He brushed it off and said, "I've
got to get running. Nice to meet you, Ted."
Ted let Maxwell pass, but he called over to him, "Can I get your number,
Eleanor?"
Maxwell shook his head and said, "I don't think so. We're not supposed
to fraternize with the players."
Ted wanted to press Maxwell more, but he saw Victoria entering the
walkway. He knew that responding to Maxwell's statement could get them
both in trouble so he went back to his locker room. Maxwell hurried onto
the street and grabbed a taxi to his building. As the cab moved down
the
city streets, Maxwell could only wonder what was wrong with him as
strange thoughts ran through his mind.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
The night after the next game was disappointing for Maxwell. He looked
at the girls getting ready for a late Friday night at the clubs while he
got ready to head home. He was invited to go with some of the girls,
but
he politely turned them down. Maxwell had no intention of being one of
the girls hit on by horny men.
Maxwell had long been one of those men cruising for girls on weekend
nights. Now, that would be a futile mission. Maxwell had failed to
really consider what living as an Ice Girl meant. The painted nails that
rested on his fingertips and the thin, unmistakably feminine arches
above his eyes made any attempt at being Maxwell laughable. Maxwell knew
that for the next year he was going to be a celibate woman. He was
certain that no woman would go for him, and he kept repeating to himself
that he had no interest in any man that would.
Maxwell dressed in his street clothes and hit the walkway. As he walked
towards the door, he heard a voice say, "Hey, Eleanor, wait up."
Maxwell turned and saw Victoria coming towards him. Too aware of the
terms of his mother's will, Maxwell did not even consider pretending
that he did not hear her.
Victoria asked, "Where you off to?"
"Home, I guess. There's no point going out with the girls. We don't
quite want the same thing, you know."
"I think you do", Victoria answered.
Maxwell shrugged and said, "Yes, we all want sex, but I don't want what
they want."
Victoria ignored his response and said, "Well, if you're not doing
anything, would you like to grab a bite with me at the diner down the
road?"
Feeling a little hungry, Maxwell decided to take her up on her offer.
They walked past several clubs that Maxwell recognized. He had
frequented them all as a VIP when he was a wealthy bachelor, but he now
lacked the proper identification to get into one. Victoria led him into
the diner. Maxwell had never noticed it before, but the place had
clearly been open for years given the wear on the upholstery.
They sat at a booth together and ordered their meals. As Maxwell sipped
on his soda, Victoria asked, "So how are you handling things?"
"Okay, I guess."
"So you're not having any regrets?"
"I have some regrets about the way I've lived my life. If I did
something like this earlier, I probably wouldn't be sitting here next to
my own purse, but I don't have any regrets about what I am doing. I've
got to do it to preserve the life I had."
Victoria nodded and said, "Have you had any difficulties adjusting to
the changes?"
Maxwell smirked and replied, "Yes, I'd have to say so."
"What's been the hardest part for you?"
"Well, outside of dressing like a bimbo for the enjoyment of the
perverts in the stands, I'd have to say it's my loss of my personal
life."
"What do you mean? You're out with me right now. Am I not good company?"
"I know, but I just miss going out with girls."
Victoria shook her head and replied, "You can go out with the girls from
work. They wouldn't mind if you tagged along."
"That's not what I mean."
"Well, what do you mean then?"
"I miss, you know."
Victoria smiled and said, "You miss sex?"
Maxwell blushed and nodded. Victoria laughed and said, "Well, how long
has it been?"
"Two weeks."
Victoria froze and replied, "Two weeks. I can do two weeks standing on
my head. I've gone years without sex. Well, you're a lady now, Eleanor.
You can go a little longer than two weeks."
"I know I have to. I have to go a year without sex because of this get
up. That's what worries me. If I'm frustrated now, what will I be like
in a year?"
Victoria shrugged and said, "I don't' know, but I suggest you suck it
up. Just like I have."
"Again, I know I have to suck it up, but don't compare us. You're hot
and can get it anytime you want, I'm sending off wrong signs at the
moment.
Victoria smirked and said, "You think I'm hot, do you think I'm as hot
as some of our players?"
"I would say so", Maxwell replied before he realized what he said.
Victoria started to laugh and said, "You are too cute, Eleanor."
Maxwell was relieved when Victoria did not press him on his response. He
wondered how he could have let that slip as the conversation turned to
work. Maxwell was impressed with how much Victoria seemed to know about
her girls, including himself. Victoria gave Maxwell advice to help him
fit in that he took to heart as they ate a late meal together.
After paying their bill, Maxwell walked Victoria to her nearby apartment
building. Victoria smiled at him and said, "It was nice talking to you
tonight, Eleanor. We should do it again sometime."
Maxwell replied, "Yes, we definitely should."
Victoria turned towards her door and stumbled; Maxwell clutched her arms
and stood her up straight. Victoria and Maxwell froze as their lips
were
only inches apart. Maxwell slowly let go of Victoria who stood
motionless. Maxwell's libido told him to kiss her, but his mind told him
that what he was feeling was wrong.
He moved in and Victoria stepped back. She smiled at Maxwell and said,
"I'll see you soon, Eleanor."
"See ya", Maxwell replied in a soft voice as Victoria entered her
building, leaving him aroused and denied. Maxwell then flagged down a
taxi and gave the cabbie his address. He sat as the cab drove down the
city streets while his mind could only think about Victoria.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
After playing two games on the road, the team came back for another two
games. The intervening five days between the home games had been useful
for Maxwell. He remembered the advice that Victoria gave him. She told
him to read up on the latest women's fashion and gossip. He did exactly
that, picking up every magazine he could find on the topics.
During the practice, Maxwell wormed his way into conversations on these
subjects. The girls were impressed about his depth of knowledge, and a
few praised him for coming out of his shell a little.
The practices became fun for Maxwell after that. He loved talking with
the girls even if it was about girly things. He even had dinner with a
couple of them twice. He was not sure why, but Maxwell felt comfortable
around the girls. He felt that they were the first people to like him
for himself even as he was concealing his true self beneath a feminine
front.
After the game, Maxwell disrobed and redressed in his street clothes. He
later hit the walkway out of the building alongside Victoria, who he
stayed behind with to help deal with a personal problem. Victoria gave
Maxwell a friendly hug that caused him some displeasure. He enjoyed her
friendship, but he wanted to go further. However, he knew that his
desire would go unfulfilled. He knew that he was firmly in Victoria's
friend column.
As they strolled up the walkway, they saw Ted standing by the door.
Maxwell froze. Victoria continued walking for a bit before she realized
Maxwell was no longer beside her.
"What's wrong, Eleanor? Did you forget something?"
"No. Ted's by the door."
"So?"
"He kind of asked me out after the last game."
"What did you say?"
"I said we could get in trouble. I told him I'm not supposed to
fraternize with him and the other players."
"You know that's not true right? The players are only restricted from
trying to force the girls into relationships."
"I know that. I'm kind of hoping he doesn't."
Victoria and Maxwell stared at Ted for a few moments before Victoria
said, "We might as well walk up there now. I don't think he's planning
to go anywhere until we do."
Maxwell huffed and nodded. They walked towards Ted who reached out and
shook both Victoria and Maxwell's hands. Victoria smirked at Maxwell as
Ted explained the team's rules regarding fraternizing with the Ice
Girls.
Maxwell smiled and said, "That's great news, Ted. Oh, but wait! I'm a
very busy girl. And I know you hockey players got a lot on your plate."
"I'll make room, if you give me your number", Ted responded.
Victoria smiled and pushed Maxwell on his shoulder and said, "Come on,
Eleanor. Give him your number. Don't be so shy?"
Maxwell gave her an evil stare before he replied, "Okay, Ted. I'll give
you my number."
Maxwell wrote his number down and handed it to Ted and said, "I really
have to be going. Talk to you soon."
"I'll call you", Ted said loudly, stating the obvious.
Victoria locked her arm around his and said, "I can't believe you just
did that. You little tramp! You want to be a hockey WAG."
Maxwell shook his head at Victoria's amused words and said, "You know a
little help back there would have nice. I wouldn't have had to give him
my number if you told him there was some special rule he didn't know
of."
Victoria put her hand on her chin and said, "Why would you need me to
turn him down? All you had to do was tell him no, and he'd go away."
"I know, but I have trouble saying no. I've never turned down a girl in
my life."
"Really", Victoria said as she raised her eyebrows.
Maxwell felt a surge of arousal as he looked at Victoria. 'Maybe, I've
got a chance after all', he thought before his fantasy was broken by the
sound of a text message on his phone.
Maxwell dug his hand into his white purse and pulled his cell phone out
from between his wallet and his makeup bag. He opened the text and saw a
picture of Ted without his shirt on. A short message was beneath it
reading, 'Hopin U like what U see becuz I think UR so hot!'
Victoria pulled the cell phone out of Maxwell's hand and read the
message. Her struggle to contain her laughter cut Maxwell. He felt that
any chance he had with her that night was gone. Then, before Maxwell
could react, Victoria texted Ted back.
"What did you write?" Maxwell shouted.
He read Victoria's words, 'Tink UR hot 2"
Maxwell looked at Victoria and said, "Why would you do that?"
Victoria smiled and said, "You said you needed a lay, not me."
Maxwell put the phone back in his bag and said, "I didn't mean that
way."
They continued walking down the street as Maxwell ignored the sound of
the additional text messages being forwarded to his phone until he
parted ways with Victoria. As Maxwell rode in his taxi, he opened the
first text message.
He gasped as he looked at a picture of Ted's penis. He quickly shut the
phone before a gnawing feeling got him to open it. Maxwell thought to
himself, 'I wonder if he's bigger than me?'
Maxwell opened his phone and went back to the text message. He studied
Ted's manhood and thought to himself, 'Those hands aren't false
advertising. What I wouldn't give to...have one like that. On me. On me.
My own!'
Maxwell walked into his apartment feeling conflicted about the series of
texts Ted sent him pleading with him to text him back for a date. He
was
flattered, but he knew he should be disgusted by Ted's flirty words and
pictures. For a second he wondered, 'Would one date really be that bad?'
Then Maxwell remembered himself. He shook his head and said to himself,
"I can't do that. Why would I even think that?"
Maxwell resolved at that moment to go see his cousin about the texts
first thing the next morning.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Maxwell went to his cousin's office the next morning and showed him
Ted's texts. Lou was alarmed and told him, "Look, cousin, I can try to
punish him, but it's not easy. I've got to deal with the union to
reprimand him, so this might go public. You have to be aware of that."
Maxwell thought about the potential of his current state going public
and decided it was best not to risk it. He then reported to practice
with the girls.
As practice came to an end, Victoria asked to speak with Maxwell in her
office. He followed her into her office and took a seat at her
direction.
Victoria leaned back in her chair and said, "I heard that you reported
Ted's texts without telling me that you were going to do it."
"Yes, I figured that Lou could handle it."
Victoria shook her head, "Eleanor, I like you, but don't ever do that
again."
"Why not?" Maxwell asked.
"I'm your boss, now. You don't go over my head to my boss. You come to
me. If I can't fix the problem, then we go to my boss. Understand?"
Maxwell nodded and said, "I'm sorry, Victoria. I didn't mean to make you
angry. I promise that if I ever have a problem around here again, I'll
take it straight to you."
Victoria thanked Maxwell and dismissed him. Maxwell then dressed in his
street clothes and headed for the door.
Maxwell walked out onto the walkway and saw Ted waiting for him. Ted
walked over and said, "Hey, Eleanor. I'm sorry if those pictures
bothered you. I didn't mean to concern you. You're just so different
from any other girl I've seen. I just wanted to make you mine."
"It's okay", Maxwell said as he tried to walk away from Ted.
Ted reached down and put his strong hand on Maxwell's shoulder, stopping
him in his tracks. Ted looked Maxwell in the eyes and replied, "I'm
sorry, Eleanor. I won't be bothering you anymore."
Maxwell smiled as he felt the most intense arousal he had ever felt. He
was confused as to why. He was being touched by a man and not a girl.
Maxwell could not understand what was happening to him.
Ted noticed that Maxwell was not adverse to his touch. He wanted to go
back on his promise, but one of the other Ice Girls came out onto the
walkway. Ted smiled at her and said, "Have a good night ladies."
He walked away leaving Maxwell in his confused state. The Ice Girl came
over and said, "Are you okay, Eleanor?"
"Fine, Jenny. I've just got to talk with Victoria for a second."
"Oh, well, if you're up to it, some of the girls are going with me to
Zoo's Club uptown."
Lacking the female identification he needed to get into the club,
Maxwell politely said no and headed for Victoria's office. Victoria saw
the confused look on Maxwell's face and asked, "What's wrong, Eleanor?"
"Nothing. I just needed to talk with a friend."
"Oh, well, I was planning to hit a bar right now."
"Okay, I won't keep you."
"That's okay. You can come."
"No. I don't have an ID for Eleanor, you know?"
"You don't need one. I know the owner and bartender. Come on."
Feeling the need for a distraction, Maxwell decided to go with her. They
walked into the bar and the bartender served Maxwell and Victoria
drinks
without carding them.
Shortly after they sat down, two men approached them and asked if they
could buy them drinks. Victoria smiled at Maxwell before she looked at
the men and said, "Sure."
Maxwell shot her a confused look as the two men sat beside them. The men
introduced themselves as Mickey and Dave before the two began to chat
with Victoria and Maxwell. Maxwell let Victoria take the lead. He tried
to communicate to the men that he was not interested, but Dave decided
to draw Maxwell out. He began to flirt with Maxwell. Maxwell tried to
brush him off, but Dave believed that Maxwell was just playing hard to
get.
Dave complemented Maxwell. Maxwell blushed when he heard the man call
him beautiful. He smirked and flirted back before her realized what he
had done. Suddenly, Maxwell understood what he had done. He quickly
finished his drink and told them all that he had to leave.
Dave and Victoria tried to find out what the matter was, but Maxwell
rushed out the door. Victoria followed behind him, but she was unable to
catch him before he got into a cab.
Thoughts of what he had done and felt played back in Maxwell's mind in a
loop while he was driven home. He thought to himself, 'It's the
clothes.
That's why I am like this. I am acting like a girl, I'm not...I'm not!'
Maxwell kept his composure as he walked onto the elevator and pushed the
button for his floor. Maxwell opened up his apartment door and headed
for his couch.
Maxwell pulled his knees towards his face and caught a glimpse of
himself in the mirror that hung on the wall. He saw the frightened girl
that he had become. Thoughts of Ted and Dave crept into his mind.
Maxwell found himself starting to cry. He couldn't figure it out at
first, but as it became clear to him as the tears kept flowing.
Fantasies of pleasing men swirled around in his head bringing tears to
his eyes as he realized a latent truth about himself.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
The closing week of the regular season came and went for Maxwell without
an incident at work. He was firmly one of the girls and was accepted by
the other squad members as a teammate.
Maxwell put on a chipper front around the girls as well as Victoria. At
home, however, was a different story. Maxwell spent his leisurely hours
in bed crying as he thought about what he felt he had suddenly become.
Part of Maxwell knew that what he felt had always been there. He had
those thoughts before, but he had been able to suppress them. Now,
Maxwell knew that it was impossible to deny them any longer.
It was an uncomfortable truth for Maxwell. He knew now what he had
always denied. His attraction to women was based on his desire to be
them, not to be with them. Maxwell realized that his attraction to men
was not a simple envy of their physique or size.
As Maxwell dealt with his attraction to men, Ted kept his distance. He
kept his promise to leave Maxwell alone. It was for the best anyway, Ted
figured. He was able to maintain his focus on winning the Cup as the
playoffs approached and began.
Maxwell had decidedly mixed feelings about Ted's behavior. Part of him
was relieved by not having to deal with a physical consequence of their
mutual attraction. As much as Maxwell wanted Ted, he was not sure if he
could handle going that far. Maxwell still harbored a hope that his
feelings were all temporal and brought on by his living as a woman. He
hoped it was curiosity and would pass. Consequently, he did not want to
do anything he would regret later.
Victoria noticed the change in Maxwell. She caught him leering at Ted
wistfully when Maxwell would catch a glimpse of Ted smashing some
opposing player into the boards.
Victoria approached Maxwell about it after the team won its series in
the first round of the playoffs. She sat him down and told him what she
had observed. Maxwell hemmed and hawed before he admitted his
attraction. As Victoria smiled, Maxwell felt overcome by humiliation.
Victoria comforted Maxwell and said, "It could be just bi-curiosity."
"I know", Maxwell replied.
"Of course, there's only way to know that for certain", Victoria added
with a smile.
Maxwell shook his head and replied, "I'm not ready for that yet."
Victoria said that she understood and hoped that he would work things
out with himself. Maxwell thanked her for her friendship and support
before he slipped out of her office so he would not have to discuss any
further what was troubling him so greatly.
Maxwell tried to keep his mind off his desires as the team marched on to
the finals. As the team took a 3 games to 1 lead, he could not help but
think of how different his situation was from the last time the team
made the finals.
The team had made the finals three years earlier and lost in 6 games.
Maxwell attended each of those games in a designer suit with a beautiful
woman on his arm as he sat in the owner's box. Now, he only attended
the
home games and did so wearing a dress and surrounded by beautiful women
who thought he was a girl.
Maxwell watched as Game 5 unfolded at home. He stood with the girls as
the finals seconds ticked off the clock and the team celebrated their
championship. Maxwell watched with a smile as Ted celebrated on the ice
before he joined the other girls in cheering the players as they were
presented with the Cup.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Not long after the last game of the season, Maxwell learned that he had
to attend the championship parade with the Ice Girls. His absence from
the ownership group at the cup and the parade had already been explained
to the press as being the result of his continued grief over the loss
of
his mother.
The Ice Girls were going to ride on the floats and stand along the
perimeter of the team's players on the podium as the players got their
keys to the city. Maxwell was not happy about the assignment, but he was
more troubled by the fact that the girls were issued matching 2 inch
high heels in the team's colors to go with their uniforms.
Maxwell had never worn heels before, and he asked Victoria to help him
learn how to walk in them. She was more than happy to provide Maxwell
assistance.
Victoria came to Maxwell's apartment and showed him how she walked in
her heels. He watched carefully and mimicked her as she told him to take
small steps and put his heel down before the toe of his shoe.
Victoria smiled as he followed her direction. She then told him to watch
how she walked with one foot moving slightly in front of the other.
Maxwell practiced along with her and found himself able to do it. It was
easier than he thought, but the attendant pain in his feet and legs was
not something he expected even as he remembered the complaints about
heels that his former lovers had made. Victoria grinned and told him to
toughen up as he groused about the pain.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
As the parade began, Maxwell stood with his fellow Ice Girls and waited
for his instructions. Victoria came and told the girls where they were
to go. The girls were broken up and put on floats with the players.
Maxwell was a little disappointed that he was not put on the same float
as Ted, but at the same time he was relieved that he would not be in
close quarters with the object of his misery causing desire.
Maxwell got on a float with another Ice Girl and stood next to her as it
began to make its way down the parade route. He waived to the crowd as
the throng of people cheered the players by his side. Maxwell found the
trip to be more enjoyable than he figured it would be, but the joy he
felt was lessened by the increasingly aching pain in his feet as the
hours dragged on.
When they reached the end of the route, Maxwell joined the other Ice
Girls in standing around the edges of the stage where the players were
seated. Maxwell's calves and feet felt like pins were being stuck in
them as the Mayor read off the names of the players, coaches and
executives getting the ceremonial keys to the city. Despite the pain, he
managed to keep the requisite smile on his face.
Maxwell was relieved when the presentation ended. He wanted to head home
quickly and get out of his heels. He soon realized, however, that this
was not to be. Maxwell and the other girls were told to go to the arena
to take a few pictures with the team. Maxwell was not happy about being
immortalized in picture as Eleanor since he still harbored what he
increasingly believed to be delusions about possibly going back to being
the man he once was. However, Maxwell knew that such thoughts were
fanciful at best. He knew there was no going back. The thoughts that had
surged to the forefront of his mind as Eleanor could never be erased
from his memory.
As the last picture was taken, everyone was free to leave. Ted walked
over to Maxwell and said, "Eleanor, can I speak with you?"
Maxwell shrugged and said sure as Ted led him to a more private area.
Maxwell looked at Ted and asked, "So what do you want to speak to me
about?"
"Eleanor, I know that you're a guy."
Maxwell's jaw dropped. He started to shake as he figured that the
hulking man before him was going to beat him senseless. Instead, he felt
two fingers touch his chin. Maxwell looked at Ted and realized that he
did not look upset. Maxwell asked, "You're not angry, are you?"
"Angry? Hell, no, Eleanor. I'm relieved."
"Relieved?"
"I was wondering why I was attracted to you. You were the first the
girl, but once Victoria told me, I couldn't believe I couldn't figure it
out. You're an American lady boy. Usually, I've only got Asian ones to
go for."
Maxwell realized what Ted meant as Ted leaned in and placed a kiss on
Maxwell's lips. Their lips parted, but Maxwell pulled Ted's lips back to
his. Maxwell's mind raced as he wondered if he was like Ted or if it
was
just curiosity. 'I have to know one way or the other', Maxwell thought.
Maxwell smiled and said, "Your place or mine?"
Ted eyes grew wide as he replied, "Mine."
Maxwell walked hand in hand with Ted as they went to grab a taxi.
Maxwell felt strangely comfortable having his hand within Ted's. He felt
like it belonged there. They headed to Ted's apartment, and Ted carried
Maxwell inside. They shared a passionate kiss as Maxwell laid within
Ted's arms on the couch.
Maxwell slipped off of Ted's lap. He dropped onto his knees before Ted.
Ted realized what Maxwell was about to do. He watched as Maxwell undid
Ted's belt and zipper. He then tugged Ted's pants off his legs. Maxwell
pulled down Ted's boxers next, leaving his erect penis exposed at
Maxwell's eye level.
Maxwell clasped it and kissed the tip. He then started to run his tongue
up and down the shaft before he placed it into his mouth. As he sucked,
Maxwell felt a strange rush of arousal he had never felt before.
Maxwell
could never remember feeling that excited before. He concluded that it
was not simple curiosity. As the last surge came from Ted, Maxwell
realized that there was no turning back.
After grabbing dinner with Ted, Maxwell headed home feeling strangely at
peace with himself. He knew that it was not simple curiosity. He felt
that he had to tell someone. The only logically choice to Maxwell was
Victoria.
Maxwell called Victoria and told her what had happened. Maxwell thought
that she sounded shocked, but she replied that she was not surprised.
Maxwell was a little taken aback by her response. He figured that if he
had not known the truth about himself, he wondered how she picked up on
it. Maxwell then wondered aloud if Ted could get in trouble for having
relations with him.
Victoria eased Maxwell's fears and said that she would clear their
relationship with Lou. However, she counseled him to keep it under
wraps. Maxwell agreed knowing full well that Ted risked abuse from the
homophobic members of the league if his relationship with Maxwell was
exposed.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
That afternoon, Victoria went down to the team's headquarters and sought
out Lou. Lou let her into his office and poured her a glass of scotch.
Victoria told Lou what had happened between Maxwell and Ted. Lou leaned
back and smiled and said, "I knew keeping Ted around would do me some
good ever since I caught him that tranny hooker. Aunt Sammy couldn't
understand why I was so adamant about keeping around an aging fourth
liner."
"Yes, well there was a little complication with Ted. He actually thought
Maxwell was a girl."
"I can't blame him. Maxwell should have been born one, but, I suppose,
he's in his proper place now."
"I can't help but think that you're right, Lou", Victoria replied.
Lou smiled and responded, "I really have to hand it to you, Victoria.
He's so much easier to deal with now. You've made him so malleable. He's
going to get the team, but we can control him now. I know that he's a
sissy, but he won't want that to get out. Neither will Ted, given that
whole macho thing that goes on in the locker room."
"Yes, but I don't think it we'll have to threaten them. I think I can
convince Maxwell that you're the perfect front man for the organization.
Besides, he doesn't want to work anyway. You get your weekly check, he
gets his money. Everyone wins."
"Just make sure that you do convince him. You're the only he trusts
around here."
"I know. Don't worry, Lou. I'll make sure we are both well protected
when his year is up."
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Lou waited in Victoria's office to meet with Eleanor as the end of her
year as an Ice Girl approached. He puffed on a cigarette with total
disregard for the building's no smoking policy to calm his nerves as
Victoria assured him that he had nothing to worry about.
Victoria was much more certain of that than Lou. Having been a part of
Maxwell's transformation into Eleanor as opposed to an observer, she was
more aware of what was going on in Eleanor's mind.
Eleanor walked towards Victoria's door with a sense of unease in her
stomach. She was living a life she considered perfect and was afraid
that she was about to lose the life she had made for herself after the
team raised the cup.
Eleanor paused before Victoria's door and thought back to all that
happened to her. Shortly after she started dating Ted, she became
concerned that the press might find out about Ted's relationship with
the son of the late owner. She told Victoria of her concerns.
Victoria gave her a very simple answer. She told Eleanor to take every
step possible to conceal her former identity. Not wanting to hurt Ted,
she did just that. Eleanor moved from her penthouse apartment where she
used to bed women to a small studio apartment in a less fashionable part
of the city where she only shared her bed with Ted.
That arrangement did not last long since Ted asked Eleanor to move in
with him after only three months of dating. Eleanor was ecstatic and
took to being Ted's better half. Ted enjoyed spending time with Eleanor
as they learned to cook together.
Shortly after moving in, Eleanor started to clean up the apartment. She
had never cleaned anything in her life, but she felt that it was now her
duty to do it for Ted. Ted was happy enough with the arrangement as it
was one less thing he had to pay someone to do.
Eleanor had also created accounts under her new name. Ted asked about
the sizable accounts, and she replied that she had inherited money from
her parents. That was enough for Ted. He was not the inquisitive type
and was completely unaware that the person he called his 'lady boy
better half' was his potential employer.
Eleanor never let on that she was Margot Coffey's only child. There was
nothing to indicate that that was the case either. Ted accepted blindly
the fact that Eleanor was the child of wealthy, deceased parents who
took a job as an Ice Girl to fulfill her childhood fantasy as Victoria
had told him.
Fearing the loss of the life she had built with Ted, Eleanor took a deep
breath and knocked on the door. Victoria told Eleanor that she could
enter.
Eleanor walked in said hello to Victoria and Lou. She took a seat as
Victoria and Lou leaned against Victoria's desk to talk about the future
of the team. A short while later, Eleanor's accountant and his mother's
lawyer entered the room.
Eleanor signed the papers awarding her full control over the majority of
the stock of the team and full control over her mother's profitable
assets as well while Lou looked on helplessly. Lou stared at Victoria
with worry in his eyes while she looked at Eleanor with a serene glance.
He worried that Victoria had double crossed him and was seeking his
ouster for her own benefit.
With the legal matters taken care of, Eleanor addressed the people in
the room. She looked to Lou and said, "Cousin, you have done a wonderful
job running mommy's team. That's why I am going to vote my shares to
keep you as the CEO and President of the team."
Lou straightened up in his seat and said, "Are you sure, cousin?"
Eleanor smiled and said, "Yes. I have no interest in running the team. I
don't want to be the boss. It's too visible. I can't very well go
around
looking like this if I'm the boss. I'd have to go back to being what I
used to be."
Eleanor paused as she realized that she was unable to even speak the
male name that had been hers for almost her entire life. She continued,
"Of course, I'll be waiting in the wings to keep a check on you, cousin.
I have my own interest you know."
"Like what?" Lou asked.
"Ted, for starters. As long as your CEO and President around here, I
want Ted to have a job. I want him to be able to stay with the team
until he retires, and I want you to give him a front office job when he
can't play anymore."
"That sounds fair. I'd be happy to have him around here", Lou replied.
Eleanor nodded and said, "As for Victoria, I want her promoted to Vice
President. I know you never filled the position after you were promoted.
I want her to have it."
"I'll get right on it, cousin", Lou replied.
Victoria smiled and said, "Thank you, Eleanor. It's very kind of you."
"You're welcome, but I have a selfish reason for wanting you to be
promoted."
Victoria blinked quickly before she asked, "What's that?"
"After the playoffs are over, I want to become your secretary. I know
it's an odd request from a friend, Victoria, but I'm used to working
beneath you. I need something to keep me busy and close to Ted. It is
the perfect place for me to move. I mean lets be honest, I can't be an
Ice Girl forever. Hell, we all know I'm really too old to be one
anyway."
Victoria smiled and said, "I accept your terms."
Eleanor smiled and replied, "Good, now, there's just one other thing I
want from you all. I want the arena to myself tonight after the team's
practice, and I want the security video feeds turned off."
"Why?" Lou asked.
"I have my reasons, cousin. Now, can you do this for me?"
Lou nodded as he leaned back on Victoria's desk.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Ted waited around on the ice still in uniform as Eleanor requested long
after the team practice had ended and the other players had gone home.
Ted was convinced that he was the only person in the building. He
wondered what kind of game Eleanor was playing with him by asking him to
stay late.
He took a few practice shots on the empty net as he waited for whatever
Eleanor was planning on doing. As he skated around the rink, he suddenly
saw a figure in the shadows.
He smiled as Eleanor stepped out onto the ice. He took her hand and
skated around with her and asked, "Are we going to get in trouble for
this?"
"No. Victoria got promoted to Vice President today. I got her to do this
as a favor for me."
"That woman must really owe you something, or do you have incriminating
pictures of her?" Ted answered.
Eleanor smirked and sa
