They were working about 2 am; Alex said to Esmeralda, "Enough for the night, would you like to have some food?" She said, "Let's go to my apartment, I can make an omelet for you!" That would be great since I have not had a home cooked meal for many months! He didn't think that this was a "date" but she was a colleague! He hired a cab and they got in her apartment in Chelsea. The apartment was in the basement and lots of strange knick-knacks things including witches pentagram on the front door! She made a veggie omelet and one of the best wines that he had! The omelet had instrating herbs that he never tasted before but he ate it anyway! She told him that never eats at all. He thought that it's true at work. He never, never saw her eat! So, he had to ask why she had eggs, butter, vegetables and wine, but he crashed about 5 am! He woke up about 7 am. Esmeralda was gone. He felt very strange, like he was violated! He found a note on the end table. Esmeralda said that coffee was in the coffee pot and in the refrigerator had some light breakfast that she made. All the foods in the refrigerator were unopened, very strange too! She was at work at 6 am and she said that he can take a shower, if he like! He thought about it and he did that, showered, ate and had some delicious coffee! Then, he took a cab back to his company! Esmeralda saw him and smiled but knew that we shouldn't talk about that! He said in the lab in the early morning before the stopping of their work! So Alex started where he stopped in the lab. He told Esmeralda "Thanks!" and smiled too! Since she is a professional, she talked about the project only! Well, they did it again, they looked at the clock and it said 1:30 am! Alex groaned since he had not a lot of sleep! He said if Esmeralda wanted to have dinner in a restaurant, his treat! She smiled (it was the first time that she smiled since she saw him at 8:30 am this morning! She asked if he wants her to cook at her home. He smiled, again, and said, "With pleasure!" So, they did the same thing as the night before! At her apartment, she started a CD with mystical music. She gave him a glass of the same wine as yesterday. He asked what type of wine, she told him that it's a vineyard in upstate run by Wicca's. She laughed and said that they are a little bit crazy but they make great wines! He told her that he feels so strange will a glow all around him. She smiled and said it's the wine, it's so great! She started to make dinner; he got a chair from the living room and played it in the kitchen. He sat down and they had some conversations about science! She told him that the dinner will be very unusual but he will be surprised with the taste and other things too! She said that all of the ingredients are picked for their chemicals! He said it will be interested the try it! About 1 hour later, the dinner was ready (at that time, he drunk 2 bottle of wine, but he was not drunk, since he is a big man)! Again, Esmeralda didn't eat or drink anything. He said that this dish was fantastic! The dish had complex tastes of flavors! He ate the whole dish! She like that! He felt so strange now! That warm glow was more intense! He felt like his head was spinning around and his body was separated from the head! He felt pains everywhere, from the head to the toes, it was horrible. He saw Esmeralda take him to her bed. It was amazing since she was so small and he was so big! She took all of his clothing off; he was naked on the bed. She told him that she will change the hierarchy and she will be in charge of company, he will be a normal person! She told him that she was a witch and has lots of spells! She changed her body to her normal self, an old woman with a big nose, a wart on the nose. She had on a black witch's hat and black dress. He thought that he was in a 'B' rated horror movie! It was strange since he heard her talk but he can't move at all. She started to say different incantations. Those spells were in a weird language that he didn't know, but she knew a lot, he thought! Then, he saw a bright light and he was in a white room, just her bed and the witch was in the room. She was still saying some incantations. A wall, magically disappeared, she took his body into that room with two cutout, one for him and one for her. He felt that his soul was taking out of his body, and moving to her body, like a metamorphosis. He saw her soul lift up too and move to his body too. He crashed to sleep. Chapter 2 He woke up in a strange room. A man was sleeping in the bed with him. The clock said 6:00. He saw that he had a nightgown, short and had wavy blonde hair, and shoulder length. He looked at his body and he was a she! She had a wedding band and small engagement ring on her finger too. She when to the bathroom (the bathroom was in the hallway) and saw a very petite woman, maybe in her late 20's with blonde hair and blue eyes. The same as Alex features but very feminine and very petite. She was thinking maybe the same height as Esmeralda the witch, 4'10". She had memories of her in her brain too. Her first name was Esmeralda and her maiden name was Gerhardt and her married name is Lombardi. She was from a broken home in Newark, NJ. She didn't know her father and her mother was an alcoholic. She was one of 7 children, she was the youngest! She didn't finish high school, just 10th grade. She is very religious, Roman Catholic, she going to Mass in the morning and Sunday too. For her and Jerry, she made coffee and for her husband, scrambled eggs (with lard, yuck), 5 of them, 4 pieces of toast and bacon. The children have subsidies for breakfast and lunch in the schools but she knew that some of them don't eat them. They said that meals are disgusting, in her sense, it's free food! So, it was time to wake the children up and her husband too. The 7 kids are in 2 bedrooms (4 girls in one room and the 3 boys are in the other). In Jerry's and her room is very small, they have a folding bed in the family room (it's living, dining rooms and the front door too. The kitchen is very small and they have just one bedroom. Anyway, Esmeralda woke up Jerry first. He had bad breath with whiskey but he kissed me and said good morning! He is very thin, maybe because he does not have good nutrition. Then the 4 girls, Esmeralda kissed all of them and said wake up sleeping heads! The girls are Bianca, who is 14, the oldest, Annemarie - 13, Immacolata - 8 and Zita - 7. All of them are huge about 40 to 60 pounds heavy. The worst is the youngest, Zita maybe 60 lbs. heavy. They need more food, so I made fried bread with maple syrup, ice cream and candy. They loved it and they wolfed it down. Jerry didn't eat the food but had 0.5 liter of whiskey. I needed to get dressed, since I go to Mass with the children. It was the weirdest thing in the world! It was the first time wearing a bra, pantyhose, a dress (it was a conservative dress, purple flowers and a black jacket) and comfortable shoes - 2 ?" heels (thank God, I thought about heels but I guess I can do anything since I'm a woman). All of the children when to Mass, I felt the joy of being closer to God, it was strange since I never felt this way. After I took the receiving the Eucharist, I felt happy and joy! I thanked the Priest (and I had to push my children to say thank you too). I took them to the both of the schools. Then, I went back to my apartment. Jerry was not there, but I thought he was with his unemployed other men, drinking. He normal comes back about 1 or 2 am, drunk. I cleaned up (no dishwasher, just the sink) and I had to go to the outside launder store to get the dirty clothing done. It took some time. I knew that if I left the clothing in the machines, they would be stolen, so I had to be there. I have to do the wash 4 times per week. I have to call my company but what can I say? The teacher said that he was not here at the start of the class. She was so worried but her husband, Jerry said that he was a bum in school and outside too. They walked back to their apartment. She was going to start the dinner but she said if they need help with the homework. All of them laughed! They said that our teachers don't have any homework! She was mad! She read about the decay of the urban schools (when he was Alex, not Esmeralda) but she didn't know it was that bad. So, the 6 children had some snacks (don't asked - not the snacks of champions) and then watched the TV. She made 4 dishes, all high in calories, lots of carbos, lots of fats and lots of sugar (and no proteins at all)! At 6 pm, they ate them and love them! They had 2nds and 3rds helpings. They were good, they helped her clean up the dishes and all of the dirty clothing's were in the hamper! They were in pajamas and still watching the TV. After the last of her children (not Jerry Junior - he was still not around) were in bed, Esmeralda crashed and took her shoes off! She was so tired! She thought that Alex had long days but being a wife and having 7 children it's incredible! Esmeralda does not drink alcohol, normally, but she needed a stiff drink, so she had a little bit of whiskey (she think about the different of Alex's mass and Esmeralda's mass, she was smashed but she changed to her nightgown and when to sleep)! She woke up and her husband and her oldest son were here, both were drunk. It was about 3 am. She was so mad at her husband! Remember that Jerry Junior just 10 year old! 10 years old child can't be drunk (Esmeralda thinks that alcohol is the devil's drink, for Alex, calms the nervous)! She put Jerry Junior to bed and did speak to her husband, Jerry even they were in the same bed. About 5 am, Jerry apologies and kissed her on the lips. She kissed him back. Logically, she understood that she got Alex's body and in her magic erased all records of her name! She thought that she didn't know how she did it, but she did! She asked one of the librarians if she can use one of the phones. They lady said sure! She called the personal telephone number for Alex's office. The woman, who was her secretary, Susan, picked up the line. She said, "Oh, Susan, thank God, this is Alex! I need to get some information about the CEO! Susan said, "Who is this?" Esmeralda, thought, this was a bad move, so, she said, "Wrong number!" and hung up! She left quickly (after she got a new library card). She went to the same quick mart, but the only thing of shopping is that she purchased a piece of cheap meat, some produces and fruit! No more junk foods! She walked to the elementary school and asked the teachers for her children. She asked about their education, are they OK in school? The entire teacher's said that she needs to have a teacher - parent conference appointment. She thought this is crazy, but she got all of the children's teacher's appointment, in the next 2 weeks! Esmeralda and the children when to the middle school to do the same. Jerry Junior was not there in the elementary class as well. They walked back to their apartment and told them no more candies! She gave them some apples. They groaned but ate them. Esmeralda told them, that we are going to the park to do some exercise with a baseball! As a group, groaned as well! They changed to loose shorts, t-shirts, they normal had sneakers! So for the next 1 hour, they did sports (they were huffing and puffing)! She needed to cook dinner, so she told them that they can read for 1 hour (again, groans, big times)! So, she made for the first time, a healthy dinner! London broil, steam vegetables (not frozen ones) and a salad (it was not Esmeralda side, but the knowledge of Alex). They children hated it but they ate it! They changed and went to bed (they were so exhausted, and Esmeralda, too, but happy tired)! The two Jerry's came back about 1 am. She told Jerry Junior that she will be checking in the classroom if he was there, every hour. If not, she will call the Newark police to find him (he had lots of juvenile complains, so he said he will be good)! She told him that she will get him after school like the 6 other children! She thought that Jerry Junior had a bolt of lightning because he was scared! Esmeralda wanted to do that! He went to bed (but he was worried so, he was awake for many hours. Esmeralda went to bed about 4 am, since she was reading about education! She woke up and made some healthy breakfast, and she made 7 lunches for her children (for love and it was good too)! She loved walking them to school (and picking them up too). Three parent-teacher conferences were today. So, she came back to her apartment and changed. She had in her closet, a jacket - dress combo. She also had 5" brown pumps. She wrapped up her hair with a clip, and she did her makeup just lightly. Her idea was to show that she wanted to do business, but she needed to show them that she is feminine too! She had some problems with the pumps, but very quickly, she had her balance, and she admitted that she looked fanatically with her pumps and combo jacket and dress! She has lots of questions for the teachers (since she was reading lot of books)! Her first conference is for Bianca, then Giambattista and then Annemarie. So, she had to go to the middle school, then the elementary and back to the middle school! It will be tough but she thinks she can do it! So, she met the teacher, she told her that Bianca does not to the homework, does not read and the teacher think's that Bianca can't read. Esmeralda asked her if has test scores but she didn't! Esmeralda was amazed! The teacher had no information at all! So, she asked if she has the curriculum for kindergarten through 8th grade! The teacher got them for her! In her mind, this teacher was no use at all. If Bianca is going to achieve, I needed to do it (and of course Bianca too). She had 3 minutes to walk 11 blocks, so she ran with her heels, it was no problem, she was in her body for 5 days, she was getting used to it (and she loved the hormones too)! She also saw that lots of guys like what they see! Anyway, she arrived just in time! The teacher was a male, about 30 years old. He had slicked black hair, a thin mustache, black shirt and pants, and 1.5" heel alligator shoes! He looked at Esmeralda and the first thing was would you like to have a date with her! She thought that he was a gigolo and he got is teaching degree to meet wives! She thought this guy was a joke. So, she left, she had 1 hour, so she walked to a local deli and got a cup of tea, then she walk to the playground and read the curriculum books. It was jokes! They talked about anti-bulling, self-worth and multiculturalism. She was amazed, the Political Correct in the books! She thought that I have to be the teacher if my children will learn! She walked to the middle school and she met Annemarie's teacher! Finally, a teacher that had her head screwed up! The teacher was Cassandrea Washington. She was about 35 years old, and was raised in Newark and when to Rutgers University. She wanted to teach and she is really good at it! They talked about Annemarie, and in general, education! Cassandrea said that American teaching sucks! They said for 2 hours! So, Cassandrea hugged Esmeralda and she said that we should talk some more! Esmeralda got her children (including Jerry Junior) and walked them to their apartment! She gave them another set of apples and started to do some lessons! At 6 pm, she had to get some dinner, so, quickly, made some grilled chicken, some veggies and a salad! She told them that tomorrow, she will get a scale to weigh them; she told them that they are too heavy (excluding Jerry Junior). They walked to the park and did some exercises! After that, they went back to the apartment, they did more lessons! They youngest of them said that they love doing the lessons! The oldest, less so! After the children were tucked, she does to lesson plans for tomorrow, then read for about 2 hours. Jerry came back about 2 am. He was drunk again but Esmeralda asked for sex he said yes for 2 hours, his penis was erected and she went totally crazy! So, she told the secretary that she will come to Manhattan on Monday. The cell phone foundation secretary, she said she will get the cell phone tomorrow, Friday! She called Alex's company (her computer in her former life). She asked if any of the officers other than Alex was still there. The secretary said that she didn't know any of them. She said that she was one of the starting members (she said that she was the first secretary in the firm). Esmeralda thought, she didn't know her at all. So, Alex (the witch Alex) changed the lots of people! She wanted to ask some more questions but the secretary would not like to be too nosey! She got some children's novels and left! She had one parent - teacher conference at noon for Zita, so, she walked to elementary school. She met the teacher; to say that she was useless was understatements! She does not why almost all of the teachers are totally stupid (she knew that the problem, it's the unions! After the conference, she shopped for food! She will made meat stew (with cheap meat, potatoes and lots of carrots), steamed broccoli and another salad)! She picked up her children, and hugged them (the oldest didn't like that, but for her, she thought that her children are the most important thing (other than her husband)! They had lessons, home works, some exercises too! They had the stew (they never had stew before) and after they changed to sleeping gowns and PJs, they had 45 minutes of reading, of course, prayers! Chapter 4 So for 4 months, the rhythm of children and Esmeralda's husband, Jerry, had great sex! They celebrated Christmas and Easter, they started on Sunday, the Catholic Sunday School the teach our Lord, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit, the Trinity! Esmeralda knew that she had menstruation (the first time, she had it - I meant, went Alex in her new body, when freaked out). She asked if he can get a job, even a janitor or garbage job? He would try but he had no experience! In the meantime, she started to take free classes at Essex County College in Newark. They didn't want her since she didn't have a high school degree but Cassandrea told them that Esmeralda is very smart! She was taking both nursing and secretary classes (since she has knowledge of higher it was easy). The hard things were that as a male, she never felt being pregnant and the charging up of her hormones! It was bad! One moment, she felt nausea, the next high! The other thing was she had twins in her womb! Jerry got apprentice job in an apartment building. He had to take the garbage out, do some light repair, etc. But the important was the he quit drinking! Esmeralda was so happy! So, they get off of welfare and the first time, they had a salary, not a lot but it was theirs! They went a little crazy with sex. Almost every day in the nighttime! They decided to move out of Newark (both of them, this was the first time) and get an apartment in West Orange, NJ! The place was on a dead end and lots of forest! The elementary school was just 3 blocks away, and the middle school was 5 blocks away! Jerry purchased an old station wagon (he had his driver license but he never uses it for many years! Chapter 5 Along time ago, she thought about the old company that she started but that was in the past! She got her bachelor's and master's, both in business (BBA and MBA)! She worked for the same insurance company in Newark but she is not a secretary anymore, she is a manager of a department. She has under her 200 people! Jerry purchased 7 big apartment buildings, in northern New Jersey and 2 in New York City. He also has a real estate company too. He still loves Esmeralda. )! Jerry ate like a normal healthy male (he has a pot now around his belly)! Esmeralda still looks fabulous, still eats like a bird! All of them have bachelors, 4 have masters, 2 are M.D.s and 3 are lawyers (Jerry Junior is one of MDs. He is a neurosurgeon in San Francisco.)! They purchased a home in Piscataway, NJ! It has 12 bedrooms and has 10 acres of land! As a post scripted about 15 years after the last children were born. Esmeralda, Jerry, Concetta, Teodora, Sofia and Alessio were walking in Central Park, in Manhattan (they were seeing a musical on Broadway but they had some time to kill) and Esmeralda saw Alex Stein, with a pretty woman and 3 children. Esmeralda said to him "Do you remember me?" Of course, Esmeralda did not say where did she knew him, but Alex knew who she is! Remember, she put his mind in to her body! He saw that Esmeralda had 4 children (but remembered that he can read a person's mind and plant some fact or history in the mind). He was impressed that she did well. He told her that the woman is his wife. She was plumped (and she was about the same height as myself too), but well dressed! His company (well, her company), got the negative from the FDA, so drug didn't go to the market. The company went belly up 4 years after the changing of the minds of the CEO. He is doing just seeing patients in his office in one of the small hospitals in Manhattan (he was an internist but never practiced). Esmeralda thought that he is still handsome and grey hairs on his sides. They talked for about 10 minutes, or so. Then, before the said goodbyes, Esmeralda kissed him on his cheek and whispered in his ear, "Thank you for the changes!" He was surprised! They departed! That was the last time, they met!
