ALICE AND BARBARA
When Alice and Barbara moved in together, it soon became obvious that

At the end of the first month together, Alice met with a doctor

JOE AND GLORIA
There was no reason for contact with Barbara and Alice after the move, and
there was none. Joe's position required him to be on the road almost half

The girls led their guest to the dining room which was going to be used for
the conference. Alice asked if anyone would like coffee or tea, and
Gloria said she would like some hot, herbal tea, if some was available.
No-one else asked for any refreshments. Shortly Alice brought out the tea
with a small plate of cookies that she had baked.
Sitting at the table there was a moment of two of awkward silence, each
waiting for the other to start the conversation. It was Gloria who said to
Barbara,
"You know Barbara, when we were together, I could not appreciate how
beautiful you really are. My anger and jealousy forbade me to notice it,
but now I can see how you truly were destined to be what you have become.
And I am happy for you."
"Thank you Gloria, I hope you are not saying that just to be kind."
"No. I really mean it. Now that you are no longer a threat to my way of
life, I can appreciate you even more."
Joe cleared his throat to get everyone's attention and began by saying,
"Before we start, I have to say Barbara, that I didn't realize you had such

"You are not the only one on hormones Joe."
"I also see that you girls are wearing slacks instead of skirts. Something
new?"
"No, dear Joe," Alice replied, "women wear slacks all of the time. We are

fashionable. Go to the mall and you will see very few women in skirts and
dresses, mostly slacks. And here we are."
"Well, it looks mighty good to me." Joe replied. And he meant it.
The girls sat together, placing their chairs as close as possible so that
they can sit quite close. They were acting like newly-weds. madly in love
with one another and they didn't care who saw it. Holding hands, touching
one another constantly. Both Joe and Gloria noticed it but didn't make any
comment.
"Alice, what I am going to say, may shock you at first, but please, hear me
out.
I want a divorce."
Alice's, hand involuntarily went up to her mouth in shock, and her eyes
became wide.
"Why, Joe?"
"I announced to my Board of Directors of my intention to go through with
the surgery. They took it fine, But that means with you having a penis we
can no longer be married. Besides, I see you have found your true love.
If we could stay married, my job, secure as it now is, would be in
jeopardy. The one thing that corporations cannot stand is humiliation, and
if the Tabloids got hold of this news we would be the laughing stock, and
not only would I be fired for cause, but my finding a new position would be
impossible. And that is considering how good I am at what I do. This also
means that your staying as broker for the company's investments would be at

"Wait a minute," Joe said; " This arrangement could solve all of our

The table was silent for a few minutes while everyone was digesting the
news.
Barbara said to Alice, "After your surgery, would you marry me? Become my
wife?"

"Barbara then turned to Gloria and said, "I too, then agree to divorcing
you. It will be the best for us all. We will then be with the mates that

chair and said that they had to be leaving to get ready for a banquet that
night, but that his lawyers would soon be in touch.
Everyone was so happy with the outcome that they were kissing one another
and
seemingly reluctant to end this harmonious conclusion.
The divorces were done within the first month after the meeting, as a
result of
Joe's powerful connections. They were arranged in the Judges chambers and
each
one stood up for the other. The judge's clerk was excused from the hearing
so as not to
be tempted to sell this bizarre arrangement to the tabloids for an obscene
amount of
money. Four months later, both Alice and Joe went in for their surgeries.
The first week was painful for both of them, and then their bodies were
sore for about two months after that.
Alice was delighted with her new breasts. She opted for a "B" size so as

developed. It was almost four months after Alice's surgery when she was
