Charlotte had always seemed a submissive wife. Ok she liked to put her

I should have realised what she was doing to me as I had come to think of

We lived in northern France, just outside Lille although she came from
Grenada in Southern Spain. We had two daughters called Celestine and
Martine and two sons called Antonio and Juan.
Sometimes Charlotte would say I treated her like a Maid and would dress

once when she was dressed this way was that she wanted to have Celestine
and Martine's ears pierced but I had said that they were too young and it
was not the Maid's role to make the decision but the role of the trouser
wearer. Charlotte had not raised the subject again. I know now that she
had been trying to persuade me not to be so macho and to allow her to
share in the decision-making but I thought that I ruled the house and my
wife and daughters were there to do my bidding.
Last time we had travelled there my feet had blown up like footballs as
we reached Les Landes and it felt like I was wearing really tight socks.
I looked at my feet, they were bare but really, really swollen. I spent
a day in bed when we got there waiting for the swelling to go down.
I was determined this time that it wouldn't happen again. Charlotte had
been doing some research on the internet for me. "Listen Patrick, you
need to cool down when you travel down to Spain with me this time. You
need to shave off your body hair. Use this nair stuff, it will make it
easier."
I didn't think about it until I saw my body hair floating down the
plughole, up until then it had just seemed normal. What would Antonio
and Juan think now their father Patrick had no body hair? Wasn't this
rather feminine? I would have to hide it. I was ashamed to have allowed
myself to be emasculated in this way. But I was still the man of the
house, wasn't I?
Next Charlotte said, "Patrick, I have discovered the answer to your
problem is to wear tights when you travel down to Spain with me."
"Tights? Just how am I going to get this past the children?"
"Don't tell them, but unless you want the swollen feet problem again you
will need to wear them. You are still a man aren't you? You are not
threatened by a small item of women's clothing are you? And as you want
to compete in the martial art competition but can't stop breaking your
toenails when you kick people I have learnt what you need to do to
strengthen your toenails. It's a guitarist's trick. You need to wear
nail polish."
"If you don't want the tights to look too obvious you should wear panties
instead of your boxers as they would bunch up under the tights."
Charlotte and the girls packed the bags and the boys and I loaded
everything in the roof rack as we had been instructed. So here I was
driving through France wearing nail polish, panties and tights trying to
pretend I was dressed like any other normal man.
Then disaster struck.
Antonio was sick over me as we stopped for dinner.
Celestine said to Antonio, "I bet Daddy will arrive in Grenada driving
our mobile home but dressed as a French maid."
Antonio replied, "No way."
"OK, if you win Antonio, Martine and I will do whatever you boys say for
the whole holiday. If we win you and Juan will dress as female flamenco
dancers and do as we say."
What a strange bet I thought as I went into the back of our mobile home
changing out of my vomit covered clothes.
Charlotte came in. "Look I am really sorry Patrick but the only clothes
we can get at are here," she said showing me the inside of the wardrobe
where she had stashed her Maids outfit!
"Oh come on! In the bed is one thing but what will the kids say?"
"A real man can dress like this and carry it off. We don't have the time
to unpack all of the other stuff to find your clothes." She said as I
realised she was rapidly applying foundation lipstick and eyeshadow to my
face and plucking my eyebrows. Then she stuck on false eyelashes.
"Here put this wig on," she said putting a blonde wig on my head and then
adding a white maid's cap.
"But I haven't agreed to this."
"We haven't time," she said filling a bra with some false breasts (so she
had been planning this!) and then passing me the Maid's dress to put on.
I had no choice as I had had to get out of the clothes Antonio had
vomited on. Charlotte then produced some black stilettos for me to wear.
I came out of the room to cheers and laughter from Charlotte and the
girls and I heard a camera clicked in Charlotte's hand. "Who's wearing
the trousers now?" she said. I noticed that Charlotte, Celestine and
Martine were all wearing trousers.
"Patricia, I expect you to help Antonia and Juanita get into their
flamenco costumes," said Charlotte.
"But I am called Patrick," I said.
"Firstly I do not expect my maid to answer back and secondly don't be
ridiculous Patricia she said slapping my backside. How many people call
Patrick dress like you?" I was starting to struggle to think of myself
as a man.
So here I was helping my "daughters" into their flamenco dresses and
stumbling around in stilettos. We, the men of the family (well Maid and
flamenco girls), were to be the ones wearing the dresses. The girls
grumbled as I helped them into their dresses and then Celestine came in
to show me how to do the make-up and wig on "Antonia" and to supervise me
doing the make-up and wig for "Juanita". I had to padlock their one
strap stilettoes on them. "Sorry, boys, for getting you into this mess."
Next I found myself, a French man or was I a woman dressed as a Maid from
my country (crossing one boundary) as I crossed another boundary into my
wife's country and it seemed somehow fitting as if I had now become her.
On getting to Grenada Charlotte enrolled me in cancan classes and my new
daughters in flamenco classes. As we got used to the shoes, panties,
tights, bras and dresses and to doing our make-up we started to enjoy the
experience of becoming ladyboys.
I was, however, keen to return to France and my life as a man.
The next morning I overslept. I woke to find Celestine and Martine had
had their ears pierced.
"Patricia, get Antonia and Juanita ready," Charlotte said. "You have an
appointment."
"Where?"
She wouldn't tell me.
It turned out we were to have our ears pierced. I protested.
"Patricia, remember who is wearing the trousers," said Charlotte.
I watched as Antonia and Juanita were fitted with adorable gold hoop ear
rings that went perfectly with their flamenco dresses. I was told that
mine also suited me and went well with my Maid's uniform. Now I had
these ear rings on I understood what Charlotte expected of her Maid and
stopped thinking of myself as a man at all. We had crossed more
boundaries than I could cope with as a man and I resigned myself to being
the Maid of the house.
