I took a deep breath as I prepared to select what I was going to wear. I
fought back the nerves as I opened my wardrobe door. All manner of
feminine finery hung there waiting, I drank in the soft scent of the
clothes. For today was the day. Today was the day I would take one of
the biggest steps of my life. Today was the day I was to come out. Today
would be the day my family would get to see the real me. The female I
was meant to be. I couldn't remain hidden any more.
I found my favourite dress, it was blue, knee length, and had long
sleeves and a V neckline so it would show a little bit of cleavage. I
hung it on the door. I selected my foundation wear. A flesh coloured
gaff, a blue corseted waist nipper, blue panties, a matching bra and
padded panty brief, light tan pantyhose. Standing before the full length
mirror I gently removed the binding around my breasts. I sighed with
relief as my ladies were released from their prison. I gently cupped
each one in my hands revelling in how they felt. Very happy in the
knowledge that they were all mine.
I showered, and checked for any stray hairs and found none. So I started
to get dressed.
First I slipped on the gaff, ensuring my appendage was tucked and
secure, the panties followed and hid the gaff. I smiled as I slowly
became the woman I knew I was. I reached over and put on the bra, my
breasts filled the cups and I had a generous cleavage thanks to the
design of the bra. The padded panty brief followed and I put on the
pantyhose. I slowly smoothed down the legs, checking for and nicks or
runs.
I sat at my vanity checked that my eyebrows had a delightfully feminine
arch. I then took time with the application of my make up. I had to make
sure it was perfect. I went for a subtle slightly understated look. I
applied the foundation, powder, eye-shadow and liner. And mascara to
both my upper and lower lashes so my eyes appeared to be wider. I
checked my nails which I had applied polish to the night before. They
didn't need any attention, so applied the lipstick I had to match.
Kissing a tissue to take off any excess.
I stepped into the dress, and zipped it up with practiced ease. I
smoothed it down and gave my self a twirl. The skirt settled down and I
smiled at the woman in the mirror. She smiled back.
It was time for my crowning glory. I had long shoulder length auburn
hair. I sat down and styled it into a high pony tail, allowing tendrils
of hair to hang down on either side of my face. A brief check for any
stray hairs found none.
Gold studs went into my pierced ears, and an engraved locket settled
around my neck. I slipped on some blue heeled court shoes. I took a look
at myself in the mirror. I took another breath as I reached for my
handbag.
I checked my hand bag's contents, a small purse which contained my
female Id, makeup to make any running repairs, tissues, my mobile phone
and a couple of tampons. I smiled as I remembered who told me about that
little trick.
There was a gentle knock on my door.
"Come in," I answered in my practiced female voice.
Karen, my girlfriend, entered. "WOW!" she exclaimed. "Clara you look
fantastic. You'll knock them down." She smiled. "It's nice to see the
true you."
I smiled back. "Thank you Karen," I answered. "After today there will be
no more hiding." I paused. "I'm Clara for everyone to see."
Karen stepped up and brushed some lose hairs off my shoulder. And hugged
me gently, "Ok my love." She kissed my cheek. "Let's go and meet your
family."
I was nervous, I was really nervous. I had kept Clara hidden for years.
I'd kept the fact about my transition a secret from everyone, except
Karen. And now I entered the sitting room of my home to see people I
hadn't seen for a few years.
My parents, my sister, both sets of grand parents and my Aunts and
Uncles all looked as I stood in the doorway, Karen squeezed my hand in
support. We walked in together.
I smiled at my family. "Well here I am. This is me...!" I smiled despite
my nerves. "This is who I am meant to be. Please call me Clara."
"You look beautiful Clara," my mother said breaking the brief silence,
"Give me a twirl." I twirled for my mother.
"Are they," Anna my sister spoke up, "are they real? You're breasts I
mean."
"All mine Anna," I answered.
I looked at my father and sensed his disappointment. I knew that with
mums help we'd bring him round.
"What about children?" my father asked.
"I made a deposit Dad," I answered. "And there's something else we have
to tell you."
Karen smiled. "I'm pregnant...!" she said with a smile. "And Clara's the
