While Jim and I had been getting dressed and ready for dinner, I had
heard sounds coming from the guest bedroom where Judy and Diane were
engaged in the same occupation Jim and I had been enjoying. I think the
sound that I heard were the moans of a teen age girl being laced into
what was probably her first corset. 15 was such a wonderful year to
start serious corset training. I had missed that by one year with Jim. I
could easily rectify that error this summer. There was so much Jim and I
could explore together as Mother and Daughter.
As the pleasurable (?) moans continued, with Jim glancing and wondering
at the sounds, we came out of my bedroom and scurried down the hall to
the kitchen to make sure all was in readiness for our dinner with our
new girlfriends. Jim was doing a credible job navigating the kitchen in
his heels. I saw him glance several times down, even with the impediment
of all those petticoats, to see his feet pitched forward at a new, for
him, provocative angle. As he lifted the dishes from the refrigerator,
he looked so charming and cute, being sure that the lip of the serving
plate was not coming near to his clean white, darted bodice. With his
new, heightened projection because of the longline bra, this maneuver
was a sight to behold. Even his still somewhat masculine arms seemed to
be more feminine and vulnerable in doing this action. When he bent to
lower the dish onto the dining room table, his curvaceous form in that
sundress cast a uniquely feminine shadow over the cutlery. In his heels
and with a upper body which he did not yet fully comprehend, I was
amazed at his ability to ward off toppling over into the asparagus.
At last dinner was ready for our guests. Judy and Diane arrived at just
that moment. They were stunning. I heard Jim gasp when he beheld Diane.
Judy was scrumptious in a LBD which clung to her amazing figure like
cellophane and her 4 inch red Louboutin's were to die for. But Diane
stole the show. Her budding 15 year old femininity had become the
confident posture of a 24 year old Victoria Secrets model. The corset
which caused all the weird noises had done it's job. Her figure was
stunning. Judy had done Diane's makeup perfectly. Demure, yet sexy.
Diane's petal pink cocktail dress was strapless with a molded cupid
bodice over a lavishly pleated organza skirt which reached only to mid
thigh. A fresh and new woman had emerged in my guest bedroom. So now we
had two fresh and new women with us to dine tonight.
There were no boys or teenage girls dining tonight. Four women were
dining as equals. And that was the way it was. I detected no hesitation
from Jim in assuming the role of a woman among other women. Much
laughter and many air kisses were exchanged during the meal, and at the
end, after the creme br?l?e, four women refreshed their lips, almost in
a choreographed ritual, commenting on the shades of lipstick, and sat
down on the terrace, overlooking the ocean, each holding a bubbling
champagne glass, each with a lipstick trace on the edge.
It was so much fun. The only time Wendy seemed slightly embarrassed was
when the conversation turned to Diane's troubles in finding just the
right tampon to fit her period needs. I would have to have THAT
discussion with Wendy very soon.
"Girls, I am sure Judy and I both feel the same way. Thank you for being
so fresh and so honest. It was so much fun spending the evening learning
how two lovely young ladies think. It was a beautiful thing to watch you
two interact so playfully and still be serious young ladies. Diane, I
know this isn't the most conventional circumstance, but again, thank
you, for recognizing Wendy's needs and desires and for being her
friend."
"Oh, Wendy is sooooo cute. She gives me pride in being a woman. And she
is funny!"
"I am NOT funny, but I do like being a woman!"
"OK, ladies, I have a surprise for you. Judy and I made appointments for
both of you tomorrow at Le Coiffure Hair Salon. You are scheduled for
perms and styling and makeup. This will set you up for the summer. We
can probably make it into a weekly appointment. No sense being scruffy
just because we are at the beach. Wendy has a lot to learn, so I am
throwing him right into the deep end and seeing if she can swim with the
big fish. Diane, you have a little more experience with salons but I do
believe this will be your first perm."
"Mrs. Darling and Mom, thank you so much. I have always wanted to have a
perm. It will be so much fun to share the experience with Wendy. I will
show her how to act and tell her what to expect in that big fish pond.
Though I don't think the ladies there would like to know that we are
thinking of them as big, floppy fish. Maybe better to think of them as
pretty painted tropical guppies. I don't know If I will be able to keep
a straight face at the salon tomorrow."
"Mom! I am not a fish. But I will try to swim upstream at the salon.
Does a Perm hurt?"
"No, silly girl! A perm does not hurt! As a matter of fact I think you
will find it to be a quite enjoyable experience. Especially since you
two will be permed together. It is always fun to do something with one
of your girlfriends with you. Just think, Wendy, when you look over and
see Diane, curled and netted under that monstrously evil dryer, you will
be looking exactly the same to her. Just two teenage girls becoming more
feminine."
"Now you two run off and play. Wendy, why don't you show Diane all the
goodies you got from those naughty French people. If you feel like it,
you two can change now out of your nice dresses and into something more
comfortable for the rest of the evening. And Wendy, do not take off your
girdle, at least not while Diane is still here."
"Yes, mother, I will be totally demure. Wouldn't want to hurt my
reputation!"
The girls ran off to play in the bedroom. I imagined that Jim would have
a lot to show Diane. Thank you, Frenchmen! As long Jim kept his girdle
on, there was nothing to worry about. Plus I think Jim is more
interested right now in being a "Wendy" than acting as a 16 year old boy
with a 15 year old girl in a bedroom.
"Judy, the girls' appointments are for 1:00PM tomorrow at Le Coiffure. I
have to take Wendy, first thing and get her some more clothes. She
really doesn't have anything suitable to wear to get a perm in a place
like Le Coiffure. I do not intend to stay at the the salon for the whole
procedure. I want Wendy to start being a girl without me looking over
her shoulder all the time. I am sure Diane can fill me in on all the
gory details later in the day."
"Excellent idea, Marcia. Diane can handle herself, even though this is
her first perm. And as much as I would love to see the two of them
rolled and netted under those big dryers, I will follow your lead and
let them experience another step in femininity by themselves. I am sure
both, and especially, Wendy will be precious under the dryer. I remember
my first perm at a salon. Oh my, I felt I was such a mature woman, being
all of 14 years old, and sitting there baking among all those older
women. And a Poodle Perm it was, too! SOOOO curly! I couldn't keep my
fingers out of those curls. I am sure the girls will thoroughly enjoy
themselves."
The bedroom door opened and Wendy emerged, wearing the white Bridal
corset and carrying a potted lily from the vanity table, in front of
her, as a Bridal bouquet.
"Mother, may I have a Wedding Dress?"
My mouth dropped open and Judy and Diane were rolling on the floor
laughing!
"Wendy, get out of that thing this instant. You are not that woman yet!"
With much giggling, Judy and Diane went home, promising to meet at the
salon the next afternoon.
"Wendy, did you enjoy the day?"
"Oh, yes, Mother! It was such fun. I haven't been so happy in years.
Thank you so much for being the mother you are. Even to a boy like me."
"Well, you're welcome. Though I am not sure anymore about the 'boy'
part. Jim, do you want me to call you "Wendy" from now on?"
"I love the name Wendy. But I am still Jim under these petticoats and
corsets. I have a feeling that 'Wendy' will be more appropriate and
satisfying for me right now. But you can call me 'Jim' anytime. Doing so
may be a nice grounding tool, keeping me in the right frame of mind
while I am still learning who and what I am. Plus I sort of like the
looks I get from the other women when you call me 'Jim.' Gives me a kind
of thrill. Is that weird, Mother?"
"You deserve a 'thrill' or two. So I will keep you on your toes and at
what may be a very embarrassing time for you, I will gladly call you
'Jim'. Different strokes for different folks, heh?"
"OK, JIM, get those duds off and take off your makeup. I will help you
set your hair. It's back into rollers for you for the night. You have a
big day coming up tomorrow. First thing we have to get you some more
suitable clothes for a salon visit. I think some capris and a shirred
neckline sheer rayon peasant blouse will put you right at home getting a
perm and baking under a dryer. Once you get your perm, you will not
have to have a set every night. Somedays you can just fluff up the curls
and enjoy the sea breeze rustling your 'Do.' Other times the perm will
help with your set and we can do 'Up Dos' or other more feminine
styles. I really would like you to check out Google Images of Doris Day
and June Allyson. You will see that there is a myriad styles that can
flatter your face. And with the proper makeup, you can look just like
those pictures. With that type of look, this summer will be wonderful
for you and give you all the experiences you will need to make some
decisions in the Fall."
"Sounds good to me, Mom."
"Now about your Period. Do you want to pick your own Tampon or do you
want to try one of mine?"
"MOTHER!!!!!!!!"
